Solved

Hi all. What is the easiest way to remove all the notifications associated with a course without going into each notification? If we unpublish the course will any notifications associated with it not trigger?

Hi, Does anyone know how to link HTML widgets to internal pages?

Hello, we would like to know if we set up an external training course can a certificate with a 3 year expiry be attached to it?

I’ve put my platform into light mode in the new course player according to the forums here (thanks!), but I have one additional style issue. The “Previous” button and some of the icons in a test are showing white text over the grey background. I’m not sure which color to modify, but it definitely isn’t any color I have set to white or grey currently. Here’s what I have in Branding:/* Light Theme */lrn-course-player-play-area { --ui-color-layout-contrast: #f5f5f5; --ui-color-typography-negative: rgb(0, 0, 0); --ui-color-border-accessibility-default: rgba(65, 64, 66, 0.507); --ui-color-layout-overlay-dark: rgb(255, 255, 255);}lrn-training-material-header,.lrn-course-player-table-of-contents-header,.lrn-course-player-training-material-idle-view-content { --ui-color-icon-negative: rgb(73, 43, 43); --ui-color-icon-neutral: rgb(255, 255, 255);}lrn-training-material-header button,.lrn-course-player-table-of-contents-header button,dcb-ui-list-item-training-material-content,.lrn-course-pl

Howdy! We are running a leadership program using a blend of vILT and eLearning courses. We know how to set up the LPs for ordering the courses already. The question we have is: How can we make documents/pre-work (like reading an article) available before the vILT courses. Is there an option to add it as either training material or in the file repository and have it accessible  once the user is enrolled vs. just only during/post session?

Wasn’t it communicated in a recent update that course links would now be fixed?  No longer pre or post enrollment links, but just one link for course access across the board?  I just reached out to chat to ask the easiest way to get that link, and I was told this is not the case.  I know this was announced on a product update webinar months ago, but I cannot find which release that was.  Can someone please help me out and let me know I’m not crazy on this?

We have a single user who is not able to proceed in any of his assigned xAPI content. We make our courses in Storyline 360 and export them as xAPI. The slides within the courses are restricted (so they cannot jump ahead). When the user opens the content, the first slide is locked, and the content on that first slide does not load (see screenshot below). I logged in as the user, and it’s happening for me as well. I logged in as several other users, and none of them have the issue. Is there some sort of corruption on this user’s account? I’ve tried multiple things: re-uploading the xAPI content, creating a new version of the content, clearing the user’s course completion, clearing the user’s training content completion, and clearing the cache on several browsers. Nothing has fixed it, and I’m out of ideas.

I'm trying to find out how a learner was assigned courses.  Is there a way to see who enrolled a user in a course? Thanks!

Hello, please could anyone help? I have problems uploading events. Error message is ""day"". I already tried all possible formats. Downloading the template gives the following format "01/01/2021" However, it will not accept it when uploading it.Thanks so much in advance if you could share if and how you had overcome the same issue!Caro

Having issues with the description being collapsed automatically since the banner update came in over the summer. As shown below, Most of the description is collapsed (we’ve added the “click…description” text in order to draw people there but there must be a way to make it display fully as. defaultDoes anyone know if there’s a solution within the page design options? Or if someone’s found a string of code that does the same.

Hello, when adding shortcodes to our notifications, the shortcode will always populate with the information it has or it will populate with the actual shortcode.  we want it to be a blank space if the shortcode can NOT pull the data. for example: Session Details:Location: [session_location]Classroom: [session_classroom] For an in person training:Session Details:Location: Building 1Classroom: Room 204 For Virtual Training:Session Details:Location: VirtualClassroom:  for the virtual session, it only keeps the shortcode rather than not showing anything and just being a blank field. thoughts?

Hello,My question today is about choosing a branch name from the dropdown menu during registration. We have free, self-registration set for our learners. When a new learner registers, they are prompted to choose the appropriate branch from the dropdown. However, it seems that choosing a branch is not required. We have our additional fields set up so that certain information is asked of certain branches. The issue we’re having is that if a learner doesn’t choose a branch, they are dropped into the base branch. Then they are prompted for information that doesn’t pertain to them, and this is causing confusion. Once we manually move learners to the correct branch, the issue resolves itself.Question: How can we make it mandatory to choose a field from the dropdown so that learners get put into the correct branch upon registration? Would it make sense to add the default top lines to say, choose a branch? Do you have any other advice? Thanks for your wisdom!

We don’t use a waitlist, and won’t, but is there any other way for our learners to see all of the upcoming sessions even if they are full? Some of our classes only run once every 2-3 months, and we constantly get asked why we haven’t scheduled a class when we have, it’s just full and they can’t see it any longer. Sure, the questions will change to “when will you schedule the next one,” but at least they know we ARE scheduling the class. 😁

Hello, there! We’ve recently discovered that our platform has been auto-generating tags for all of our training materials, and this has caused us to now have 4500+ tags that are highly inappropriate or invalid, causing our search functions to be abhorrent at best, absolutely useless at worst. I’ve seen some conversations about using Postman to remove them en-mass, as I do have the ID for the ones I need to delete, but short of entering 1 in at a time to remove each one individually I’m struggling to figure out how to remove multiple at once. Has anyone discovered the best way to do so?

Hello I’m currently trying to change the colors of different events on the Calendar using CSS and I’m so close but missing something. My idea was using position selectors to manually color code each event.  Currently my code is:.docebo-calendar .pos-1 {    background-color: red !important; }This changes the first event of each day to red. If there was a way i could isolate it to a certain day. For example April 20th, pos-1 then i would be able to color code the entire calendar. Whenever I try to specify with row and column indicators it doesn’t change anything. It either lets me change all of row 1 or all of column 1, but not column 1, row 1 together. If there are any CSS experts out there, help would be much appreciated!

HiIt seems some of our users have been using the Go.Learn app to access our platform. They have highlighted a few UX issues which I have fixed. I cannot find much details on the Go.Learn app so could anyone explain what the advantage of using the Go.Learn app over just using your browser on your mobile devices?I’ve been doing some testing and it seems that some catalogs appear and others do not? Also, some seem to appear but then disappear the next time I log in.Does anyone have good experience with the Go.Learn app who can shed some light on the advantages of using it and why the catalogs may be appearing intermittently or not at all. I’ve added some images of the catalogs showing vs not showing. Thanks

Hi,I am setting up Additional Fields, and am trying to make some of the fields invisible to certain branches and visible/mandatory to others. How do I do that? I added the configuration details in the response below. Thanks for your insights!

So I am looking through Advanced settings, and maybe someone has some more insight to what this feature is or can someone help clarify what this means?Anonymize Deleted Users: while this option is enabled, the deleted users’ data is stored in the platform in anonymous mode and it will no longer be possible to retrieve it, even by disabling the option. This option is enabled by default if you have activated your platform after September 2, 2021.This is from the knowledge article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020079900-Managing-the-Platform-Advanced-SettingsI was assuming that when a user is deleted we can no longer retrieve the data anyway, but does this just mean we are making user deletion even more permanent and un-retrievable in the event of an accidental deletion?

Hello, I’m attempting to use a free code found in the Docebo University to make my sign in place semi-transparent:login-wrapper {background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.85) !important;} .bg-white-opacity, .login-container .login-content {background: transparent !important;}  I’m adding this code to the platform's configure branding, look, and feel section under the 7.0 sample interface.  It’s not reflecting when attempting to sign-in. What am I doing wrong?   Thank you!

Dear fellow Docebo admins,I was requested to prepare an assessment quiz: based on quiz result, a user should be enrolled into a course or into another one.I found that group can be populated based on the enrollment status, but the status is not sufficient. Having people in groups allow the use of the enrollment automation, but I don’t know how to populate groups based on test result. Thanks in advance for your help.RegardsStefano

Just tried to log a support ticket and it looks like the entire list of options has changed. I no longer see any options for Course Management issues and when I chose Reports, there are no secondary choices..??HUH? what happened? Anyone know?

We have a notification that is triggered by the ILT Event Starting event, and it is set to send a week before the class starts as a reminder. We were made aware of an instance when a user who was on the Wait List received this reminder, leading him to believe that he was enrolled in the course when he was not. We’ve had many course sessions with wait lists, and we have never heard of this happening before, so we were confused. In looking into the user’s history, we saw that he enrolled in the session initially and actually got into the class, then he unenrolled himself. Later he attempted to enroll in the same session again but was put on the wait list since by that time the course was full.Is it possible that because he originally had the “Enrolled” status, Docebo erroneously thought he should get the reminder notification, even though his most recent status was “Waiting Users”?We are a bit stumped, but if this is the case, it is a bug that needs to be addressed. Thanks!

Is there an easy way to run a report to count annual unique users? I ran a few workaround reports, which still require some computation to get the correct answer.

Hi Docebo Community Team,I am currently creating a New certificate on the platform. It happens that I was testing using a real long course title (course_name) so see how the course title is populated on the certificate and found that the title is going beyond my uploaded background image. Is there a way to fix this? Is there a way to add a line beak so that if there is any course with a real long title it would auto fix the course title length with the uploaded background image.

Hi, looking for some recommendations on notification use. We are using the “Learner Has yet To Complete a Course” which was set up to give leaders quick visibility that their team has training yet to complete to assist with on time course completion. Since this notification is based on enrollment dates it includes both E-Learning and ILT courses.Sample of what is being sent to the Manger:Your direct report, EMPLOYEE NAME has not completed course TITLE OF COURSE that expires on (THIS IS BLANK BECAUSE ILT COURSE DOES NOT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE).This notification is intended for our E-Learning courses and doesn’t work well for ILT courses. Is there a way to easily use this notification for E-Learning courses only? I see you can check the courses that it should apply to but seems that would be time consuming as courses are added.  Are there other notifications that could be used for best practices?I appreciate any recommendations.
