Hello, So I had a client ask me if there was another way to create a “2nd” sign in button on the Sign in page. Is it possible to assign just a lesson from a course? For example, we have an employee that goes through a course but in the future they need a refresher just one a certain lesson. So we would assign the lesson instead of the whole course? Is that a thing?

Can anyone share any CSS wizardry to hide the Completion Status box in the ILT player? It’s irrelevant in my situation.  

What is the best way to replace an existing course with a new course for all Groups and Learning Pathways, without allocating the new course to users who have already completed the existing course?

Hi, We want to understand the best practices for using the course/learning plan direct link. Docebo help article states that "If you've enabled the SAML SSO app in your platform, automatic redirect to the identity provider is required in order for an enrollment link to work successfully for courses or learning plans. Otherwise, the user will receive an error message when trying to use the enrollment link. " We tested and found that the direct enrollment link still works if auto redirect to identity provider is not enabled. Can you please confirm if direct links will work or not, please confirm for both 'SSO' & 'Non-SSO' scenarios when the user is not logged in and if they clicks on that link.Do you prefer to use direct enrollment link or the course direct link?

We’ve just launched Docebo Connect for Outlook and are successfully sending Outlook invitations. I’m trying to “perfect” the invitation to make sure that the links are easy to find and the right information is available. But… I’m also not skilled at an advanced level with HTML AND I’m aware that Docebo Connect (workato?) doesn’t necessarily support all HTML tags.I’d love to know what HTML tags for formatting are working and if anyone has created some fancy-looking Outlook invitations. I’ve at least managed to get a nice banner in mine. :-) So… what’ve you got?

Hello dear docebo community, I'm a soon-to-be docebo LMS Admin and very new to deocebo. My company is part of a global group that is implementing docebo currently as LMS in many subsidiaries around the world. We have an external implementer on board who actually does a good job, although I would have liked us LMS admins to have received different training during the introduction. By now I have worked through about 50 different training steps and I know a lot. Yet, I still havent really crasped the big picture of it and where to really start. Does anyone of you know about a generig Step-by-step-User-Guide for setting-up a countries LMS? Thanks in advance for any consideration and best regardsRoli S.

Hi everyone, We are expanding our channels to different departments within our company and utilizing Coach and Share more. With our expansion, we have had users ask if there is a way to place a hyperlink within the channel without having to copy/ paste the link into their browser. For example, I placed a link to our user manual within the description of the channel, but I have to copy/paste it into my browser to navigate to the manual I cannot seem to turn it into a hyperlink.  If there currently is not a way to do this, what are some of the ways you are able to uttilize hyperlinks within your channels, if any?  Thank you all! 

Hey everyone,I’m wondering if anyone here uses iframes and if you do, where do you host external files?Currently we have a rotating carousel image banners, with the images being hosted from another server. I was thinking if there are options or workaround for hosting the files within Docebo rather than pulling the urls from another server?

When I click on the Go To Catalog links they get redirected to a new https address but they don’t open up..It stays frozen on “Loading” page. And I have the same problem for all other catalogs. Do you know why?- After clicking on the “Go to Catalog” option it redirects as follows but the page does’nt load up- 

Is there an API request that can be used to change the “active” status of a list of notifications by the notification ID? The endpoint GET {base_address}/notifications/v1/notification/list can be used to list all notifications with their IDs and statuses. Is there a call that can batch update notification active status via CSV?Since Docebo doesn’t seem to offer an easy way to temporarily disable all notifications with one switch, we will need an alternative way to do this. 

Creative thinkers & loophole finders wanted - this problem is for you!!!! 😁We have ~80 quarterly learning plans, distributed among four business lines. They are assigned to very specific combinations of groups and branches. These are all required, compliance-related courses that are sectioned into quarters for reporting purposes but are available for the full calendar year for those that want to work ahead.We are trying to get the LPs to function with due dates tied to a specific day - such as 3/31 for the end of Q1. We want the courses to show as overdue if not completed by 3/31, yet still allow access to complete the courses after the fact. LPs don’t have the same customization that you do in Course Management (like validity periods, validity day start/end, and soft deadlines), so we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. We are finding that we can’t use the “After being enrolled in a course” selection for the days of validity because

Hello everyone, I’m creating courses with four videos as training materials, however the course can be completed just by watching 2 of them (not random, but 2 specific videos).As far as I know, the end object marker works only on 1 item, so If I put it on both, the users will complete the course just by watching 1 of these two videos.Is it possible to set the completion of both as the requirement for completing the course? Thanks in advance

Hello- new to Docebo here! When setting up a Digest notification if we select users by branch as well as Super Admins all Super Admins will receive the email no matter the branch- we know this one. (learned the hard way) But if we select users and managers for certain branches will it go to ALL managers or just the specific user's direct manager that will be receiving the notification? Trying to send the Digest notification for Users who have not completed the course, and have the direct manager receive the email as well. Thank you!

Hello,  I’m unsure if our company is a little unique in the way we use OCs, but I’m going to do my best to explain the issue we’re having and hoping I’ve explained it to the best of my ability. Our field users utilize Observation Checklists to help them track and approve one-on-one meetings, as well as use OCs as a way to keep an eye on trainees’ progress without grading their answers. Therefore, probably 85% of our usage currently has to do with Observation Checklists built into courses and LPs. They’re used to track progress, but also used as management approval.  That being said, we have a group who are continuously having issues with their OCs. During a typical day, since our company is largely customer service-based, someone may begin filling out an OC, then have to save it to work with a customer and come back to complete it. Hi there!We added a link in our email notification template using [calendar_attachment] for participants to add the ILT session to their Google Calendar. However, once the user clicks to add this, we are receiving calendar invite acceptance emails to our admin email. Is there a way to disable the notification for the reply? Normally this wouldn’t be an issue but we are getting a lot of these as people go to add them to their calendar for each session. Thanks so much in advance!  

We know there is not a way to show a failed status at the course level in Docebo. Has anyone used an external reporting tool to calculate a failed status using existing Docebo test level system fields? For example. completion_status (failed) and/or attempts_consumed (max_attempts_reached), progress (Not passed) enrollment status (complete).

Hello everyone!My company has recently joined the Docebo team and we just launched our first compliance training. Is there a way we can set the course up so that employees are automatically enrolled in a year? What is the best practice for yearly training? If there is a way to set up some sort of rule that could do that where would it be done?

It turns out someone wrote up an Idea about this exact issue several months ago: New Course Player - Descriptions for SCORM and xAPI (TinCan) | Community (docebo.com)In the “Additional Details” tab for a SCORM file in Docebo, you can only fill out the 200-character limit short description and that is what displays in both the TOC and “Lesson Details” area of the new course player.Is there any kind of workaround to putting a longer, more detailed description for SCORM packages in that “Lesson Details” area?
