Looking for some clarity, have browsed the knowledge base and community and not found a clear answer, apologies if it’s obvious… Browsing notification types for ILT events to try to make it clearer to end users that they’re in the waiting list / they have to enrol in the course to be included on the wait list, and know that instructors can be recipients of certain notifications. But my question is, are these session or event instructors or both?Notification: New ILT session created - would this notification go to all instructors in that course, or just the instructor assigned to that new session? Session instructor or event instructor or both?Notification: User enrolled in ILT session - would this notification go to the instructor of the specific session? Session instructor or event instructor or both?Thank you

The entire point of gamification is to create some incentive. Give them a hook, and pull them in. If I set up a course to have points and/or a badge associated with it I don’t see this badge on the course shell? This seems asinine. I reviewed the thread below (that popup they mention by the way is still buggy, 1-2 years later).How do I help my learners see they should take X set of courses because they have points. Stars are shown, but not that gamification is associated with the content. Thoughts? How are you guys using gamification in Docebo?  

Is anyone willing to share a screen shot of your course description area? We currently have the following info in the description:description of the course prereqs for the course course objectives accreditation info It’s all text. We’re considering adding some formatting with HTML or graphics. I’m interesting in seeing some examples of others that have just a single text description in their description area. thanks! 

I understand the usefulness of tags for search. However once a learner arrives at a video, the need to show the tags is not important. Is it possible to hide the tags?

After a notification has been created, and the language has been assigned, such as:Is there a way to actually keep this setting in so it does not keep defaulting back to this each time you go back in?:If it is the default we would like to use for the notification, I would think it would remain in place after being selected and saved for the email notification. 

But do we have to keep looking at Product Announcements from 2 years ago when we go into the system? Can this be tightened up just a weebit?Do we really need to know about this stuff that is 2-3 years old???? 

Hello Everyone,Our organization uses learning plans and recently we’ve had to add a course to a learning plan but, once we completed the update the new course was then assigned to all users who were previously enrolled in the learning plan. Why has this happened? Does anyone have a workaround to prevent this in the future?Thank You,Myla Pope

Hi Everyone, My organization is planning on utilizing Instructor-Led Trainings inside of Docebo. We are integrated with Microsoft Teams. We have made one account inside of Docebo and have had several different people that will be instructors, pair with it. I created a test course, and they were able to join as producer. However, they are not able to “Start” the course. Additionally, I made another test course and now they cannot even join as a producer. It just says “Live Event has not started yet”.  I guess my question is are we each supposed to have our own Teams set up in Docebo with the Client ID, Tenant ID, and Client Secret? Is that why these issues are occuring?  Any help is appreciated. 

All of our courses are offered to our employees for free, but many of them are available for sale in catalogs to our customers.  In order to sell them, we created duplicate courses with the same names, gave them different course codes, and set up different catalogs and subscriptions for them.  When I view the list of courses in the catalog however, I cannot see their codes so it’s difficult to do a quick check to see if the correct version of the course is in the correct catalog.  Also, we need to give the catalogs different names and so we need to come up with a strategy to do so.  Does anyone have this same set up and any tips to offer?  Docebo, can you please make course codes visible in the Course Catalog menu to make this easier to manage?

Hi everyone! I am reaching out for suggestions and best practices related to Skills! My company is a new client of Docebo and we are still working through our onboarding process. I would really like to be intentional about how we use Skills in the platform. Once we are really up and running, I would like to be able to use the Skills feature for career pathing and skills gap identification.How have you all utilized and set up Skills in your platform? Is there a way to export our Custom Styles CSS? I know we should back it up regularly, so I was wondering if there was a way to run a report on it so we could have it export on a regular basis. How is everyone keeping theirs backed up? Saving a copy each time something is changed?

I know that Docebo is considering creating an automation to the Estimated Time for Course.While we are still doing it manually, how is everyone calculating this?I have tried to use the New Reports custom report builder and it gives Training Material Time in seconds and takes tons of time to convert and then average.I have tried to use the Training Material Report in the course itself but the column comes out with a 1h 31m format that excel also hates, takes so much time to convert and then is hard to average as well. Has anyone found a quick fix to find average times for training material, courses, and then learning plans?

We are experiencing some issues with the direct enrollment link. We have tested the same enrollment link with a few internal employees, here are the scenarios:1: Internal employee can access using the enrollment link - works as expected2: Internal employee cannot access the course directly - the enrollment link3: Internal employee cannot access the course directly - gets a 403 errorWe aren’t really sure where the inconsistency is. We are using the same link, and the users have permissions to the course.Does anyone have any ideas for fixes for this issue?

I have a channel on a topic that I want users to be able to see, but I do not want to enrol users onto the courses in it. Instead user’s will have the option to enrol on the courses from a catalogue. The channel would then become visible to a user and they can choose to ‘follow’ the channel.If I set up a digest notification for users if they have followed a channel, will they receive the notification when any content is uploaded into the channel, or only when they are also enrolled on it?

I am currently developing a training on how to utilize the expert hub and noticed we have a significant amount of Open Questions. I know a Best Answer must be marked but I can’t seem to find how to do this in our platform. Is there a setting where I may have turned this off? Or am I missing where it should be populating for some reason?Thank you 😀

Hi there, Over the past few months I have noticed training material loading slowly. Our training material is Rise microlessons that should open instantly, but instead there is a 1-3 second delay. It can seem quite slow from a user perspective. Has anyone else noticed this? Or found a way to fix it? Thank you

Hello, is it possible once you run a report for the excel or csv to be emailed as an attachment rather than a link to a zip? I saw a few older ideas mentioning the same, was it ever implemented or on the road map if not?

I have a list of people for which we require the pdf user summaries downloaded.Anyone know of a way i can “automate” or at least achieve this via the API? Doing it manually is… slow.

I have created a branch for a group within my company. How can I allow the branch to also have access to the course catalog?

Hi Docebo Community,Before I take a deep dive down the rabbit hole on this one, wanted to post and see if anyone is using any good “Habit-tracking” systems or apps for their Docebo users. There are quite a few prominent habit tracking apps, some like HabitShare, Habitify, and Habitica.The use case is my company has business coaching clients, and we have been using a proprietary habit-tracking platform app that was built a few years ago--but it’s just way behind the modern apps like HabitShare etc. Rather than rebuild our app, we’d just as well integrate a best in class app to give our customers a better experience. Would like to have a Habit tracking platform that i can either I-FRAME or otherwise integrate with our Docebo users (coaching clients).  Thanks,Ben Bauman PS - looking forward to the conference in September.

Hello Brains Trust, Half of our org have a LP assigned and half don’t (another problem I inherited).  If I update the existing LPs as some are attached to teams which no longer exist can I simply delete the LP and reissue those users to a new one?  Will it have any impact or flow on effect elsewhere?Additionally, it will be likely that many of those users who are moved would have already completed training.  When assigning to a new LP will the courses attached show as completed?

Hello,We’re working on a test for users that is a practical application of the lessons they’ve learned in the course in our SAAS platform. All answers will be text entry because the ‘test’ is really their interpretation of the reports they run. Is there a way to designate that ANY answer provided to a question is a correct answer? Can’t seem to find documentation in community -- any advice will help!
