Solved

I believe the answer is no, but thought I’d confirm it here. I’m looking to change the creation date of a course to change where it appears in a channel. I was searching the API library for a potential solution, but can’t seem to find anything. Perhaps someone here has found a way to do this?

I’m trying to incorporate Contests into our training for learners who pass a course. I set up the sample contest and assigned custom badges for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Is there a way to automatically assign those badges to the learners who earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings or does it always have to be done manually?I see to auto assign badges, the only options are if they completed the course, had the most likes, etc., but nothing if they placed high in a Contest.I’d like for the top 3 winners to automatically earn the gold/silver/bronze badges in their collections if that’s possible.

I’m trying to use HTML widgets to load images for multiple languages that will each be linked to separate catalogs. Using the WYSIWYG works great to add the image to the widget, but no matter what sizing on the image I try, I cannot get the alignment I’m looking for. The widget automatically adds <p> to the HTML which creates whitespace, I’m able to remove the whitespace but that makes the widget slightly shorter than the carousel I have next to it.Whitespace whitespace removed but widgets different sizes - both HTML/WYSIWYG widgets - both images set to 220pxAspect ratio lost when forcing the HTML widget to 220px to align with image on left. Showing with or without white the versions showing the image doesn’t size properlyI am a novice with HTML/CSS so I’m hoping I’m just missing something simple. Any best practices out there for this? We have tried many many sizes of the image but ultimately it’s the same issue over and over again.

I am looking to change the order of how the courses are displayed in channels/catalogs. Is there a way to do this or code to use to have courses show in a certain order?

Dear Docebo community,I am reaching out as I'm facing an issue related to importing calendars for my users where the completed courses still appear in their Docebo calendar once I update time options by changing a soft deadline date.In fact, when I update the elearning date, the soft deadline for completed materials still gets imported into their calendars. This confuses my users since they have already completed the materials. Is there any way to exclude this from appearing in their calendars once they have completed any specific elearning page?It would greatly help to avoid any misunderstandings.Thank you in advance for your assistance.I'm looking forward to hearing from you.Kind regards,Lasha

Hi EveryoneWe plan to use OCLs as a way of recording Competence Assessments.  In the OCL line managers will tick either Competent or Not Competent and record the date the assessment took place.  OCLs will be assigned to relevant job roles and will be scheduled for repeat every 12 months.  However, if an employee is assessed as Not Competent or a new piece of work equipment is introduced, it would be appropriate to assess the employee within the 12 months timeframe.  Is it possible to override an OCL schedule for an individual employee or indeed for everyone assigned to a particular OCL?

Within the past week we have identified that our internal certificates are no longer completing the required fields please see example below. We have never had this issue before and was unsure if the system has been updated and changed some of the background settings. Are any other superusers having similar problems?

Hi everyone! We currently use Learning Plans for new hires [the course content is enough to cover their first 90 days at the company]. We have found that some reps are flying through their training too quickly - so we are looking to divvy up the learning plan into Month 1, Month 2, Month 3. We want them to only access x courses in the learning plan during M1, and they won’t be able to move on to the next group of courses. Is it possible to do this within one learning plan or would we have to create M1 learning plan, M2 learning plan, m3 learning plan etc. Any guidance would be appreciated!

I am working with a small team of power users in an environment where the business owns content publishing and enablement and assgins power users to make it happen. When I create a course I can share it with my team via categories. When I create a group or learning plan how do I share it with my team?

Our organization has virtual meetings to teach students about materials prior to coming for in-person training. During these meetings, our instructors launch polls in Teams. Prior to developing our LMS, we created teams meetings and the instructors would access them prior to the course to populate their polls. Is the meeting ID and information the same for all events in a session? Could I create an event in the session prior to the actual course so they could set up the content prior to the session? Or will they need to utilize the Instructor log-in time before the course to execute this?Additionally, is there a way to forcibly mute and shut off student cameras for these sessions prior to them joining the course?

Hello everyone!I recently have begun attempting some HTML/CSS coding endeavors on our homepage to hopefully make a more organized and clean experience for our users. I found a course on Docebo University, titled Take Platform Design to the Next Level and it generously supplied some ideas and accompanying codes. I implemented the ‘Custom Icon Boxes’ on our homepage, this is what it looks like on Screenshot #1 and I am very happy with the size and layout of the boxes, but there is a few things I would love some support on if anyone is willing to help.Is there a way to get rid of the white edge that borders each box? I would ideally love to have the box just be the solid color. I would love to upgrade the design and text on these boxes to make it look a little more professional or ‘finished’. I love the border and ‘button’ look of the Docebo custom content boxes, I have included a screenshot of what I am talking about. Is it possible to edit the code so I can add a border/box around the t

When are we going to have to change to the new course player? As there are still issues with it. We’re holding out as long as possible. I don’t want to have to change/remove icons that don’t align with our brand. Playlist functionality may be working(ish) now learning plans aren’t. See:Learning Plans in New Course Player | Community (docebo.com)New Course Player header layout options issues | Community (docebo.com)

Hi  is it possible to run a report or use the Course Management screen to check if there are (accidentally) courses created without any training material ? Stephen

If you invite someone to view content in a channel such as a an asset or playlist, and they delete the email or for any other reason do not get the email, you cannot re-send the invite or uninvite the person and re-invite them. I tried to open a ticket as a bug and was asked instead to submit an idea that you can invite someone to view a course or asset or playlist multiple times.

Hi.Here’s my scenario;A company pays us for a bunch of licences for a course (say 50). The company then wants send an internal email email / invitiation / link to staff so they can enrol directly into the course. The user self-registers, and gets access to the course. Once the licences are consumed (all 50 of them), person 51 cannot access the course until more licences are paid for. In this scenario, no power user is managing licences assignment. Is this possible? I’ve spent ages looking at subscriptions and have asked Docebo who say “no”, but I think it’s a thing that people will want to commonly do. Has anyone cracked it? Many thanks Alan.

We are in the process of creating our branded mobile app and are experiencing an error when we upload our IOS app package to Apple Developer. The error is related to the bundle identifier. We have a unique bundle id in our Apple account, but each time we attempt the build for IOS, we receive an error message indicating that we need to verify our bundle id and the id in the error message is not the id we have in our Apple account; it is from Docebo.Any insight that can shared about uploading IOS builds is appreciated.

Hihi!Is there a way to add the fields from the Team Members area to the Review so I can double check what was entered in Direct Manager or Team Manager before creating or updating? I usually look at the Review are to make sure everything was correct before confirming. Thanks for the help!

We had a random email sent out from our LMS to every staff member. Is there a way on docebo LMS to trace who and why that email was sent out?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to make accessing forums easier for instructors? In my use case, I have a rather large learning program with multiple instructors. During the program, learners are asked to respond to a discussion question that they log in the forums widget on the course they are in. Feedback from my instructors have been that navigating to forums can be “too many clicks” and I agree with them. If there are suggestions on how to optimize that workflow for my instructions, that would be extremely helpful!

We are in the UAT phase of our Docebo platform, and we were playing around with badges and points. I awarded some badges to select users and then removed the badges. The badge had a 50 point value and thus awarded 50 coins to each user. However, when the badge was unassigned, it did not remove the coins. How do I remove the coins from a users profile?

We just created a membership option for our users. So we have 2 kind of users: members and non-members.I would like to have a different menu assigned automatically to each of them depending on their membership status. I have no idea how to do it. I tried with the Enrollment rules, but this only links a group to a course or LP. Than I thought I could choose a Group in the Menu setup (I did), but users in the group still get the Default Home page. What am I doing wrong?Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, all. I’m currently working on an unpublished duplicate page of our homepage. I have added a html/WYSIWYG widget to the page that has simple text and some custom CSS that I’ve added to the appropriate custom style area in our Docebo instance. I searched the page’s code via inspect elements and found the proper id to use as a selector in the CSS, and the new widget appears correctly on the page.However….The widget seems to be appearing twice -- almost like it’s stacked on top of one another. This is what’s rendered on the pageThis is the custom CSS codehtml selectors for one of the widget occurrences (I used “#doc-widget-57” as the selector for CSS purposeshtml selectors for the second widget occurrence If anyone has any ideas as to what’s going on here and how I can eliminate the second widget, I’d be grateful. Emily

Hi EveryoneI would like to activate the Learning Impact App.  However, when I select Add New Apps and search for Learning Impact there are no results.  Also when I have browsed each of the tabs Learning Impact is not listed.Any ideas?

Hi There, I’m curious if it is possible to set up my ideal calendar invitation scenario for optional ILT course enrollment.  It is as follows:User selects and enrolls in ILT session/event they would like to take Enrollment email is received Google calendar invitation for ILT is automatically added to their gcal with status=accepted LMS Admin can see gcal invite and all accepted users and course information in one invitation (appears as if set up from calendar application)  Gcal Invite contains course description and link to Docebo where zoom link can be joined, if virtual. If User rejects gcal invite at any point, they are unenrolled in the course Next user at the top of the waitlist is enrolled in the course (begin step 1 for them)How can this be achieved in Docebo?  Thanks for your help and advice!-Galen

Hi! I have set up the file repository for some courses to allow staff to upload documents or link URLS to contribute to the topic. Is there a report I can run to see what is in a file repository for courses? Ideally who or at least when it was uploaded or linked? I didn’t see that as an option in the export courses data but maybe I missed it. Thank you.
