Solved

Hi all,I was hoping somebody could offer some advice regarding how to space tests within a course composed of multiple videos. Our team is considering the following three methods.Short test after each individual video. Medium length test after several videos. Long test at the end of all the videos. Each of these methods has pros and cons, so it would be really helpful if you could share how you space your tests and explain why you favor one particular method over another. Our videos are generally quite short, averaging about 3 to 5 minutes in duration. Thanks,Daniel

When I try to upload a file into the training material of a course or into the central repository, it’s saying that the file does not exist. It’s doing this for any file. I’ve uploaded files multiple times previously but now I’m suddenly running into this issue.Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi everyone,is it possible to set the course thumbnail via API? I have been searching for a while now but I can only find different ways to get information about it.

Hi all,  first post so please bear with me.  We are just about to launch Docebo at our organisation and there are still lots of things we cannot get our heads around.  This might be the first of many questions i post here!We are rolling out a leadership development programme.  It consists of 5 days of training (over the period of 3 months), and has lots of pre/post learning. The programme will run with cohorts of about 16 people which go through the programme together and complete each day of training together).  We could potentially have 5 cohorts this year.  In my mind it should have been a case of setting up a course, then setting up a session (for each cohort), and the setting up the 5 days of training as 5 events within each session.  So far this works for this programme.  My issue is around training materials.  it looks like I can only add materials at the course level (not session).  Ideally i would want to course materials being ‘released’ as each event happens.  So Day 1 mater

We have several superadmins across our organization, as well as content creators.  When it comes to tracking, though, it is not immediately clear who has created what.I’m trying to find out who first created a certain Learning Plan. I went to our Audit Trail, but that has 10,000+ lines and is not searchable. How would you easily find this out?

I saw this somewhere before on here. Looking for CSS or config to add a banner to my forums where I have the arrow is in the image below. Ideally instead of the course icon and word “Institute Forums” up top.I’m also interested in editing or hiding the word “Forums”, circled below.

I have a course that is set up as a test. It contains a SCORM package which is restricted to only 1 view. The SCORM package doesn’t report a score to Docebo. I evaluate the data from the SCORM package manually so the pass/fail isn’t decided or automated in the platform currently.I'm trying to think of a way I could automatically allow people to take the scorm package again after x amount of time if they fail the test.Any ideas? C.

Can I legally embed things like ted talks or educational videos by universities in some wellness courses on yoga, diet and exercise? We charge our customers for access to our docebo. We don't sell the wellness courses, they are free to anyone who has access to the platform.

Hello, I’m trying to find definitive answers on the status columns when pulling an ILT Session Report. Would anyone be able to tell me exactly what they meanSession Enrollment Status Column >» Complete, In Progress, Subscribed.Evaluation Status Column>»  Passed, In progress.I really would like to know what each one means, This is not easy to find. We also have a user who is in progress for an enrollment status and also in progress in the evaluation status column.Thank you all in advance I really appreciate it.nc

Morning - when going into peoples summaries, we are getting an unusual error for the first time. Anybody else seeing this????

I just got a note that my PUs cannot reset a course attempt.Where I can see the attempt and reset it….I can verify that it is true what they are seeing.Off hand - does someone know the permission to reset a course attempt for PUs?

Hi - I genuinely feel lame asking this, but I have a catalog widget that I am using in list mode and there are three things that I would love to tighten up with the experience.make that title a little smaller cut down on the spacing if possible remove the status from the widget all togetherWith an attempt to make the widget to the left scale better with the one that is “dynamic”.If some of you have fought this and have something that can come out of your backpocket? Maybe I can answer something for you soon enough?????Any help would be appreciated….

Hi all,I often need to upload records for sessions that occurred weeks in the past. The enrollment date, however, seems to default to the day you create the session/event. Is there a way to change the enrollment date so that it matches the completion date?

Hi, can a power user award badges or is it just a super user privilege? I’ve had a look at our Docebo installation and it looks like only super users can do this, but I would be happy to be wrong!

Hello! We are launching Gamification and I wanted to see if anyone has had information on the Sharing Options badges. Like how long is the sharing option valid for to receive a badge?I’ve read that some sharing options can be abused so we aren’t using all of them, but any information on this would be super helpful. Thanks! - Danielle

I have a custom Widget Page for our Channels - not the Built in page provided by Docebo.  I want user Playlists to be visible to them on the custom Channels page - but it seems they can only see this if I use the Built in Page.  Any suggestions/thoughts - I might be missing something?

Hi there, Members of the team asked why the notification, User has been created (by administrator), is designed whereas all the other notifications (that I know of) are blank or don’t have pre-populated source code to them.

Is anyone aware of a way to mass update course descriptions? I need to add some language all our courses’ descriptions and it would be excellent to be able to do this via spreadsheet.I have looked at the API browser, but to be honest I do not know how that works. Thanks!

Does anyone know of a way to have the playlist “bar” on full display by default, rather than at the bottom of the screen? It’s so hidden when you click a playlist and you’re brought to the first item.Alternately, does anyone know any CSS code which could change the color of that bar to something that stands out more? Thanks!

We use the platform to share training with our Customer Base. We have two types of Subscriptions:Basic - Provided to all customers with no cost Premium - Customers purchase this plan independent of Docebo. We handle this internally via a yearly maintenance contract. Premium members can view all courses, including a “new hire” learning plan. Premium users also get set up as Power Users, so they can: Access learning plans, assign users to courses and Run Reports With our product, some customers may not use all feature and functions. For example, let's say I have 20 courses in the learning plan, of those 20, they may only need 16 of those courses based upon how they use the system. If they assign one of their users this learning plan, then they would have to watch those courses they do not use as I have them ordered and locked until they complete. I could unlock some courses but because our products are highly configurable, it may be a different set of 2 or 4, etc.Customer asked if they

Hi all,I would like to hide the option shown in the following screenshot. Does anyone know how to hide this with CSS? I’d like to hide it because we never use it and it is easy to turn it on by mistake.

I’m trying to figure out a way to keep notifying a user until a certification has yet to be renewed. The only available notifications for certs are Certification has been Issued and Certification has been expired. Does anyone know if I set up a notification keying on expired and schedule 1 day after the event, if the notification will cease once the user has renewed? Finding it difficult to test this assumption and am hoping others have solved for this. Thanks.

Good day Community!First time poster, short time lurker here. I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to hide or remove the visibility of the Contests tab in the gamification widget. My company is rolling out gamification for a small test audience, and we’re looking to focus on badge allocation, but not so much the competitive side of things. I know that we can un-publish the leaderboard so that it’s not visible, but I haven’t found a way to hide Contests. Any insight would be appreciated. Many thanks!

Hey People! I recently learned you can rename course widgets through this post. But I’m still a little unclear on the actual how one does this. I opened the Localization Tool App, found the File Repository Area keys but when I import a file to make the change from File Repository  to Resources for example,  Docebo is asking for an xliff file format. What do you use to create such a file and is this the only option?

Is there a way to provide users with a certificate when they complete a Test?  Or some kind of document?  thanks for your experience.
