Which type of reports are you mainly using?
Working on a project and curious what type, new/old reports are people mainly using now a days.If you do a mixture, please feel free to comment below on how you approach it. If you are still primarily old reports, why? (I know the primary is probably the data refresh, so if that’s why, is there another reason too?)
Customer Training - MAU
Hello! We are currently considering Docebo to meet our external training needs - training our customers on how to use our platform. We are considering Flow and possibly Extended Enterprise. A big concern for us is the MAUs & overage charges. How do you determine how many licenses you need and how do you avoid overages? Understandably not everyone will be in there at the same time, but it’s so hard to gauge how many will. For that reason, we would of course start with less licenses, but then how do we avoid overages? I’m very interested to hear other experiences and, specifically, what controls &/or processes you have put in place in regards to customer training, MAU, and overage fees. Thank you!Jeanette

What's with all the negativity?!
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the past couple of days I feel like I keep seeing a lot of overly negative or simply demanding posts, replies to posts, etc.I know overwhelmingly most people come here to get an answer to their problem and move on, but it is a community!Remember, there is no need for this wonderful place to exist, it is kind of a miracle that Docebo has decided it is important enough to invest in the platform, people, and systems to have it in the first place, most platforms don’t bother, and especially not to the level of here. While it is always great to vent and leverage the ’power of the mob’ to try and get things fixed, remember it will not happen instantly, many are only trying to help, sometimes things that sound simple are not actually, and people tend to want to help more in pleasant environments :)//this concludes the public service announcement.

Not for nothing - @gstager keeps on helping folk in CSS.I just run around answering all different kinds of questions and field what I can - hopefully learning along the way something new.But Greg is a powerhouse - yawl need to give @gstager his own corner on the site…(PS - Totally unsolicited).THANK YOU @gstager for breaking out that inspector when folks have questions. You are a hero in my eyes too.
What is your favorite Docebo trick?
Getting comfortable with the system now, and writing up a bunch of things, I keep reminding myself of small things that are my favorite trick to working within the system. I am wondering what is yours? What simple or complex thing makes your life easier or you enjoy the system supports compared to your prior environments? The question came to me while writing up how to leverage the OAuth2 app’s with iframe embeds. It opens a lot of possibilities that I have not had the ability to do elsewhere.

How have you changed the mindset with other departments around Docebo?
I have a customer who is looking to understand how other Docebo users have solved this issue.Right now there is a sentiment that Docebo does just one thing: compliance. Learners log in once per year to complete their training and then not again until the following year. How have you created that change within the organization to see that the platform can do so much more than that?
Making technical courses more interactive and interesting
We teach our learners how to operate, maintain, program and service industrial robots. We previously taught these procedures using written manuals, but have shifted to video based courses hosted in Docebo. This step from written manuals to videos is a major improvement, but I’m wondering if it would be possible to make our courses more interactive and interesting by creating them in a SCORM authoring tool. I have almost no experience with SCORM, so if you are a content creator, it would be really helpful if you could share your thoughts on this 😀The following are some questions that immediately spring to mind:Is SCORM a suitable format for teaching technical procedures? In what ways could SCORM be used to make learning technical procedures more interactive? Are there any specific examples you could share? Would a simple tool like Articulate Rise be enough or would we need a more sophisticated tool like Storyline? Would you recommend creating SCORM courses in-house or out-sourcing the
🏆 August 2022: Week 3 Results
These results are from the week of August 15-19. Every week, right before I pull the results I wonder if the results will be the same (or hopefully better!) than the previous week. With summer wrapping up and many still on vacation 🏖, would we dip below our weekly goal and end our current streak? Take a look to see if we held on for another week...but first the leaderboard results 👇 👇 👇 Top 5 Leaderboard: Member Weekly Points 1 @lrnlab 805 2 @Bfarkas 583 3 @lrodman 363 4 @dklinger 318 5 @gstager 266 Welcome back to the top spot @lrnlab! As well, it’s nice to have you back in the top 5 @dklinger 🎉. Holding on to their top spot as well was @Bfarkas @lrodman and @gstager 👍. Way to go! Welcome to our newest membersI am VERY excited to share that we said hello to 63 new members last week. Incredible, right? We’ve hit our 50 new member goal for 11 consecutive weeks 🔥. Navigation - Do You Force Your Learners?
One topic that has been hotly debated in training circles is the idea of forced navigation. The idea is that you force the learner to engage with specific content before you allow them to move forward. Content is often locked until prior criteria has been met. I might refer to this as a linear. The flip side is to make all the content available and allow the learner to choose their own path through the material. Learners may even skip some content. I might refer to this as non-linear.Then, of course, are the hybrid options along the spectrum between these two.If your boss or client doesn’t mandate an approach - which way would you lean and why? Would you try to convince boss or client the other way?
What is the most time consuming part of running a L&D department for YOU?
For us, it is an amalgamation of user management and course creation. Both of these get wrapped into our ticketing workflow, which is why I am grouping them together. If I had to pick one, I would say course creation (including ILT and on-platform eLearning, not Storyline courses) takes the most time out of everything else. What about your team?!

Rise Courses | Overwrite of Training Material
Hi - I am wondering if anyone else has encountered the following:we did export to SCORM 2004 we uploaded a rise 360 course that we have been working on for months and it seems to be working….yay we uploaded a change to the rise course that I believe is not structural - just an attachment we chose to overwrite the training material even with test users - the newer training material with the newer attachments are not showing itself in my browsersIf you have encountered it or have any thoughts on what could be going on - I would appreciate any insight. I dont want to spend too much more time on this because it feels silly...but if you have any idea of what could be going on? It will help to talk me down from any concerns.
Email Notifications changing on their own
Hello,We are having a few issues with email notifications: Schedules are automatically changing to either 1 day or 1 week after the event; removing whatever was set previously When editing or creating a notification with a schedule, after sitting Save, the schedule changes to 7 days automatically, regardless of what we input as the correct number of days after the eventIt seems that this is mainly affecting emails that have schedules, like “Learner has yet to complete.” Anyone else facing these issues?
