Throughout my experience as a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, I have encountered various challenges when integrating training initiatives with broader business operations. Hello Docebo Community, It’s been a pleasure connecting with many of you over the years—whether through problem-solving discussions here or during my talk at the 2024 Inspire Conference in Dallas. As my time with Ericsson comes to a close, I’m excited to explore new opportunities to continue working with Docebo products and further contribute to this vibrant community. In my role at Ericsson, I thrived in an agile environment, leveraging Docebo’s architecture to meet complex business needs. My responsibilities ranged from integrating Salesforce with Docebo to sandbox testing for the potential merger of two platforms, including Extended Enterprise features. While the merger didn’t occur, I applied the same principles used in a previous migration from a proprietary platform to Docebo. At the 2024 Inspire Conference, I spoke about leveraging AI (ChatGPT) for upskilling. I’m looking for ideas, and possibly to connect with other team to learn how you manage on-site New Hire Orientation globally? We have previously conducted New Hire Orientation at our headquarters only, and remotely for all other locations and global offices. During Covid, we moved all NHO to remote, and have continued to do so in the past couple of years.We now have a directive to return to New Hire Orientation on-site, but now the desire is to provide an on-site NHO presence at all global offices (we have 16 of them). Our challenge is that we are a team of 6 talent development professionals, covering only 3 of the global offices. I am seeking to learn how others might be handling a similar methodology. Are you using a blended solution (e.g., On-site first day + remote second or later), what staff are you leveraging to conduct training where you do not have professional facilitator coverage, what topics are you covering, what innovative activities are you using

We will also provide a detailed comparison between the new and previous versions, so you can fully appreciate the progress we’ve made.Why is this upgrade important?

We are reaching out to remind you of upcoming updates that are part of our proactive measures to adapt to new industry standards and maintain the integrity and functionality of our embedded services. Background on UpdatesGoogle Chrome has announced updates to its third-party cookie policy, aimed at increasing privacy and security for users by limiting how cookies can be used across websites. These changes affect many online platforms, including ours, especially when our system is accessed in embedded modes, such as through third-party applications (like Salesforce). If you use Docebo in embedded mode, these updates will ensure a smooth transition.  Our Response

Docebo Support will have modified hours of operation for the following upcoming public holidays: On Tuesday, December 24th, in observance of Christmas Eve, our US offices will be closed. Docebo Support Operations will continue to operate with limited staff. Phone support will operate as normal. On Monday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas, all offices will be closed. Phone support will operate as normal. On Tuesday, December 26th, in observance of Boxing Day (Canada, UK, Australia) and St. Stephens Day (ITA), Docebo Support will operate with limited staff. Phone support will operate as normal. 

Quite a few of our courses and training materials are one time views and with the new course player there is a “RETAKE” button that now pop ups. Has anyone had any luck with a CSS code to remove ONLY the Retake button? We love the Play and Resume ones… See below as an example: 

My organization does not have Discover Coach and Share turned on as part of our Learn platform.  Context: A course was created to “distribute” informal learning links (ie. YouTube video links and PDF documents) What are some other options for distribution of these resources outside of Course Creation. NOT - These are INFORMAL - not internally developed resources - thus should not be in a content repository or truly count toward completion rates or traditional tracking. Channels are for Course or Learning Plans . . . I was hoping I could develop /collate informal links/resources in this space? However this does not seem to serve as a solution. Seeking better and best practices with content management and the types of content that is published and coaching my team towards better practices with what is published into an LMS.Thanks!

I’m trying to remove the Course ID from the Course Details Panel in the New Course Player with no luck. This is the best I could do with very limited CSS skills. Is anyone else prematurely jumping up and down about the forthcoming ability to duplicate notifications? I’m wondering if anyone has done this already. I would like to have a calendar embedded on a page that showed all the different events coming up. Colour coded for different types of things eg lunch and learn, workshop, social etc, and as you clicked on a session it gives you an option to add it to your outlook calendar, not download a csv. Basically we want to have a single calendar in a central place that shows all the available events and makes it really easy to sign up.I’m pretty sure it’s not possible. I have embedded an outlook calendar on a page but it wasn’t great.  Thanks

Docebo will be performing an upgrade of Redis in our London region (EU-WEST-2). This upgrade is being performed to address an intermittent error condition that was discovered in troubleshooting. The maintenance will be performed on Nov 15th between 18:00-22:00 UTC. Will this affect any functionality of the platform?During the maintenance window, you may experience up to thirty minutes of downtime where you may be unable to login, take courses, or configure the platform.
