I am very new to Docebo. I enabled the Certification and Retraining App and it looks like it has basic functionality that should satisfy my requirement. However, I would like some certifications that apply only to one group of (internal) users. For example, I want to identify a subset of courses towards certifying support engineers in product knowledge. These courses are accessible and appropriate for other users also, but certification must be limited to the support group users.Is it possible to accomplish that in some way? How should I think about this?

In this example, I wanted to start developing some more interactivity as opposed to passive effects.This requires the user to click on the box. When you click on it, the background color changes so that the text can be read. I’m working on a project where we need quite a bit of user information for reporting, about 40 data points. These are mandatory and there’s no way around it. To improve user experience we split the questions into three parts that are completed at different times of the learning plan. We tried a few things but none has really worked:Surveys are out since they’re anonymous. We thought of adding a “Enter your name” field but then realized that answers are aggregated by question. Tests would be a possibility but there’s a lot of test-specific language (Submit test, passed) that might be confusing for learners. I’m toying with the idea of using the Localization Tool to change the language to be neutral enough to work for both tests and this type of survey - has anyone tried this? We have a learning plan with several courses. All courses are mandatory. There are 4 types of optional live Zoom sessions (these are not part of the learning plan).The current setup is: 4 ILTs (one per type) bundled in a “Live Sessions” catalog.What I want to achieve: I want to direct learners to that “Live Sessions” catalog from within each of the mandatory learning plan courses. My idea was to add an HTML page along the lines of “Don’t forget you can join a live session” plus a link to the catalog.Where I’m stuck:I can’t find a link to a catalog that works for all users. The only link I’ve found is one I grabbed from the course catalog overview page. That link works for the user I was logged in as, but not anyone else. A link to the specific ILT instead of the catalog would also be great. Surely, that’s possible, but where do I get the links from? UPDATE: I suppose that’s what enrollment links are g

Now that Docebo has added eLearning to the ILTs, can there be a way for the scoring to say Attendance and Assignments are completed?  Right now you can only select on session completion version.

I’m currently working on a project that offers optional 1-on-1 sessions via the Zoom integration (in addition to several other ILTs). The 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled on demand, so I can’t add sessions. For consistency in the user experience, I was thinking of creating an ILT just like for the other types of session (so that all VLT sessions can go into a catalog). And then add an email address to contact in the description instead of adding sessions or events. Any thoughts on that setup or suggestions how to do that better?

Has anyone else had issues recently with Power user permissions?  They were fine and now they seem almost opposite of what they should be.

 This fun little CSS trick is similar to the sliding bar but moves the entire graphic rather than animating the width. Hey everyone! We’re just starting to use Docebo Shape, and we’re thinking about using it to create marketing material to use outside of the LMS. I can see great potential with the translation and voice-over features. Just wondering if anyone has tried using quiz scenes - is there a way to view user answers? Can it accept wrong answers, or does the question always have to be answered correctly to move on to the next scene?Looking forward to hearing more thoughts and use-cases for Shape.

Hi all! Question - for a course that exists already, where users are completed and in progress, what is the best way to add a new training material (a survey or test in particular) so it keeps the completion status of previous users at 100%, but requires new users to complete?

Hi Docebo community!   Is anyone else facing the issue where users are not able to exit the course windows? We haven’t launched yet but during UAT some users could not exit the window and it kept saying it’s syncing but nothing happened- screenshot attached for reference.Wondering if this is a Docebo wide issue or something at our end? Thanks,Namrata

For our customers we are trying to create a learning journey based on 3 LP’s and we want to display this journey on the dashboard.To do this, we enable the LP’s to be shown in a course catalogs and we create a course catalog that entails all the learning plans (LP level 1, LP level 2 and LP level 3).This catalog is then added to the dashboard/page and the users are added to a group to make sure that they will see the catalog on their dashboard.When the user completes “LP level 1”, he or she is automatically enrolled in “LP level 2” (groups and enrollment rules).So far, so good but when an LP is shown in a catalogue, a user can always enroll into an LP, which disrupts the learning journey.Does anybody have an idea how to prohibit the enrollment into an LP when an LP’s is shown in a course catalog

Hello, We have many ILT sessions for ILT courses, and over a course of a year the sessions for these ILT courses grew and are quite large. My question is: “Are there any data issues that stem from deleting a session?We also have self enrollment into these ILT courses which adds to the confusion because the user has to pick a session.I may have to delete a bunch of last years sessions, unless there is a way to hide them. It’s not user friendly having to search through an entire year of sessions to join one.Any tips will be greatly appreciated.Thank you !

Hi everyone, Our organization is looking into buying Docebo and I have been assigned to look into how we can create discussion posts.In our current LMS we ask a question on a discussion board (this feature came with our current LMS) and then learners have to add a new post plus reply to 2 other learners posts. We are able to track this in our current LMS, as these steps for each discussion post, are part of the passing grade for the learner.I am wondering if any one else does this and if so, what are you using? Any help would be appreciated.Wendy

Hello has anyone run into the issue of users joining an ILT session as the host? We will have a training with several people joined as the host’s name. Then the instructor can’t access the zoom host functions. Thanks!

OK - I seem to be missing something. I have entered some custom CSS under the Branding, Look, and Feel area in both the 7.0 and the 6.9 areas.If I use an HTML Widget for a custom page - the custom CSS works fine.However, if I try to use the same custom CSS to style something in an HTML Page as training material for a course - it is ignored.I have also tried doing some style tags but those get stripped out.I seem to remember a place where I could put some CSS for courses but I cannot seem to find it again.It appears I can do some things by placing some styles inline like such but I’d rather access something pre-defined.<p style="color: #ff0000;">Red</p>Is there a way to style course HTML pages with custom CSS?

Hello Docebo Community heroes,Maybe I’m missing something obvious but does anyone know if there’s a way of pulling a report that filters by User Course and/or Learning Plan expirations? Need to see expirations / validity periods for all Users, ideally filtered by Group and/or Branch. Does anyone know where on the platform this can be achieved? We are using Docebo Learn - Enterprise . No Learning Analytics bolt-on.
