Hey guys - looking to review and manage our users more effectively. I’d like to be able to add a title or group identifier in their user profile grid. Is that possible? Thanks!

Hi! I have a coworker who is responsible for a Buddy Program for new hires and also for a Mentor Program for staff looking to network or develop their skills. She was using a separate program, but she was not happy with it, so we want to explore what we can do to support her with Docebo. We currently do not have Docebo Connect or Docebo Coach and Share (someday, hopefully!), so we’re looking for tools we can implement with the platform as is.Her program is a hybrid of Zoom meetings and assignments. She’d like for the mentor and mentee to be able to record notes that the other person would respond to, and she would like them to be recorded in the system so that they can be referenced later. We have a number of tools at our disposal, so I feel like this has to be possible using what we have, but I’m not seeing the big picture just yet. We have the following:Articulate 360 Smartsheet Slido Google FormsWe are piloting Microsoft 365 and Teams, but we are about a year away from implementing i

This has been raised before and closed with no action. The ability to set a due date relative to the enrolment date is essential for ensuring compliance and meeting audit requirements across many businesses.Using a soft deadline is not effective, as it applies a fixed date that does not accommodate learners who enrol after that date. This limitation makes it unsuitable for ongoing or staggered enrolments. In our case, we must meet SOC2 auditing standards, which require us to demonstrate a specific "completed by" date for each learner. This date must accurately reflect whether a learner is overdue, making enrolment-based due dates a critical feature.  Having worked across multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS), I’ve found this to be a basic and expected feature. It allows for flexibility and accuracy in tracking learner progress, especially in environments with rolling enrolments. This could be a deal breaker for us

I am trying to call /learn/v1/filerepo/uploadNewFile from C# code to upload a file to a course. We are creating a custom page for users to upload attachments to a course. No matter what user I use I get a 403 forbidden error coming back. I have tried everything and don’t know what the requirements for this Api call is since the documentation isn’t very helpful. Can anybody help with this on how to successfully upload a file to a course and what might this is how I fill out the body.var attachment = new AttachmentModel{    CourseId = submission.CourseId,    ParentId = 0,    Title = formattedFileName,    UserId = int.Parse(currentUser.userId),    FileName = formattedFileName,    OriginalFileName = formattedFileName,    Visibility = 1,    ViewableBy = "LearningCourseFile::VIEWABLE_IN_ANY_SESSION",    FileData = fileBytes //  Store file data as bytes};Thanks for the help!

So we have been tooled for the last few days in production with the AI Creator. And there are a few concerns, but before we get into it lets start with the positive notes:these are exciting times these tools are set for a trajectory to answer speed to product concerns and if you havent been addressing some speed to product by adopting a few AI assisted generated workflows with content with your IDs? Then it is safe to respectfully say that you are starting to lag in todays market Now that we have covered some of the positive notes, I would love to start a real conversation about these tools and beginning to adopt them.I am on with the creator tools testing them out some during the evening of 7/1. It is a quieter time in the Eastern US. And I just tried building my first AI Presenter video. And it’s output was really? Decent. And so I got a first test and feel for this.I have to admit though, I have alot of concerns about authoring with these tools just yet.My top 5 concerns with using it

Docebo Using Browser on MobileIdeally, we want the interface to fully show the course for our users when using their phones to view courses. They can see the course title, the buttons embedded within Docebo, the entire slide, as well as the player buttons of the course. At times the top is cut off and the player buttons for the course are then pushed to the side. Other times, the view shows the tabs and essentially cuts off the bottom part of the course. In order to see the entire course with its player buttons and the Docebo interface, I had to go into my phone and “Hide Toolbar.” This may be too much to ask of our users without causing confusion. Once I hid the toolbar, the course displays correctly. I tried to upload screen shots but I wasn’t able to create the ticket.  If anyone has any thoughts I can more fully share.

Hey folks! I have looked through the KB and the community and I cannot find a straight answer for this.Scenario: We need every employee to retake their compliance certification every December - even new employees. So, if an employee starts in September, they need to take the certification in September and then again in December. With the Cert + Retraining app, it seems that we can only set this up to require the employee to re-certify every x days, not necessarily every December. Is there something I’m missing here? Is there a workaround for this that isn’t cumbersome? Thanks for your thoughts!

Is there a way to change to change the background colours of the Previous Lesson Next Lesson buttons? In dark mode, I want to make them more noticeable.

We are just implementing Docebo as our organizations new LMS. We would like to find a solution for our current onboarding process. The process involves spreadsheets that are standardized for specific company roles while also being customizable by managers to add specific training based on location, business need, etc. The document has several tabs and includes required training courses, documents, resources, videos and technical training that the employee works on over the first few weeks/ months of employment. A manager can check on their progress through an integrated dashboard. I know there are several elements that we can utilize in Docebo to mimic this process- learning paths for the standard role training, channels to house accessible training, links to documents, checklists to assist etc. My first question is:Is there a way to have learning paths AND custom curated content (assigned by managers) all in one so that we can provide a solution similiar to the current one where there

Hi Docebo Community,I’m reaching out on behalf of OWL Services. We’re currently exploring ways to build a centralized Knowledge Base (KB) for our technical training content. While we don’t have a traditional KB platform like Confluence or Zendesk, we’re curious if anyone has used Docebo’s Library, Channels, Pages, or other features to mimic a KB experience—particularly for technical or field training content. Our goal:Benchmark any use cases or companies that have leveraged Docebo to create an accessible, searchable, and intuitive space for users to reference technical documentation, job aids, how-tos, etc.—especially for just-in-time learning. We’re also open to hearing about alternative tools or integrations others have used alongside Docebo to meet this need.Appreciate any insights, lessons learned, or examples you’re willing to share! Thanks so much!

Let me rephrase my original question. Can the videos uploaded to the LMS be shared with an embed code, link, or iframe? If yes, how do we access it?

Looking for a good way to select all users in a group and add them as a power users without having to use CSVs or API.  Seems like something that should be easy and I’m not seeing it.

Hi, I have administrators who need to have access to more employees than their specific group because of their need to assign coursework to other groups. So, I’ve granted them access to numerous branches.Unfortunately, that means on their page when they look at the task list widget for “Admins and Power Users only” they are seeing far more employees than they are directly responsible. Is there a way I can either set a permanent filter for them based on the specific page they use the widget on (one per branch) or give them a drop down of the groups or branches to allow them to select which employees they see?If there’s a better way for me to offer my admins a way to manage their group of employees, I’m open to creating separate admin pages. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I swear we could do this - I even advised that we could do this...but in 2025? I cant find anything recently pointing at the capability of mapping a branch to a default language (so when we map individuals - we map them to an appropriate experience 99% of the time). What we have been doing is sending people along to a branch that has a somewhat mixed experience inadvertently. A task widget that was customized in English need to be customized in Spanish is where we need to go with this.Lets say I know where to do the customization. But how do we map people appropriately to the correct preferred language based on the branch (for those slower on the uptake)?

Is anybody else experiencing daily ongoing ‘Operation timed out’ error types in Connect, with “No activity within 180 seconds at line: ” kind of errors?I had always assumed it was an overload issue at our Salesforce end losing the connection, but now I’m not so sure. And I need to check and re-run failed jobs multiple times each day to ensure none of our synced user updates are skipped.

Hello! We are beginning to host a 37 week course, that is 4 days a week for 2 hours each day. We have two different groups, an AM group and a PM group. What is the best way to build this out? I’ve built and tested an ILT event import which works great. My only concern is that users will receive 148 invites (we have the Outlook session invites through Docebo Connect), one for each event. Is there a better way to build this out? Does anyone have experience with multi-week, multi-day trainings?Thank you in advance!

I’ve noticed that with the new Catalog Page, there’s no longer an option to “publish” or “unpublish” a catalog. Instead, we have to set the catalog’s visibility to none, which isn’t ideal. It means we have to manually track who each catalog should be visible to if we need to unpublish then re publish for whatever reason. When managing large # of catalogs this is not ideal. What would be extremely helpful is a way to see where each catalog is published. We have a large number of pages and catalogs, and right now, the only way I can identify placement of catalogs is by visiting each page, making a manual list of which catalogs appear there, and then cross-referencing visibility settings. Am I missing a report, or other method that makes this easier? Or has anyone found a workaround for tracking catalog publication and visibility across multiple pages? Thanks in advance for any insight!

For ILT courses is it possible that when a course is still under maintenance it does not send a notification to the user enrolled until it gets published? I can assume that when I am enrolling users into ILT there may be a bit of movements from one to another session so I dont want to send several emails to notify the user. Only want to notify them once I am confident all the courses are properly laid out.

When I use the Docebo Learn - Update User action in Connect to update a manager field it will remove any pre-existing managers that user has. Clears out the entire manager list and only leaves the updated value. Is there a workaround for this? I’m assuming this is because the API call is a PUT thus requiring all fields to be populated else they are made null?

I need to create refresher trainings for 8 different groups and courses need to renewed annually, biannually and Triannually.Need to understand the process with Certification and Retraining App. If the users are renewing the courses, will the old data get lost or archived.

We love the new learning plan enrollment status recalculation option - it’s great to have that flexibility and control! The question is - can it be controlled via API?We have some courses that are automatically added to existing learning plans via API.Previously, the default behavior was an automatic recalculation of the enrollment status for all users in the learning plan. Now, the default is to not recalculate the enrollment status. Is it possible to trigger the recalculation when adding courses to a learning plan via API?

We’re encountering an issue when enabling a course with Multilanguage settings and using Sequential Navigation. In the course, we have an English folder, a Spanish folder, and some common materials outside the language folders (as shown in the screenshot). When I follow the English path, I’m able to complete all the content in the English folder, but I can’t access the next common material — it appears as Locked with a message that the prerequisite was not met. When I switch to the Spanish, I’m unable to start the course at all. The first Spanish learning material remains locked until I complete the English materials.Did I do something wrong or the Sequential Navigation shouldn’t be applied when Multilanguage is enabled?

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of all of the illustrations? I’ve found some CSS to re-skin a few (thanks to everyone who has contributed those!), but am struggling to locate all of them. Person on BikeDancing person Kneeling Person Which ones am I missing?

Has anyone had an existing partnership with OpenSesame and moved over to the Docebo Content by OpenSesame (DCOS)? I would like to hear what your feedback is regarding the change and how you are liking the DCOS compared to the OS platformm along with any learnings that you feel should be shared with organizations considering making the switch Did you lose any ability to curate courses by previewing in full? I would need to allow for numerous curators across regions and departments, I saw a post about only a 5 min preview which doesn’t work for us, we would need to be able to vet courses in full.  Do courses get created in FULL in Docebo with DCOS? The manual course creation with only SCORM import is painful If you had to do it all over, would you still make the switch or stay with a direct OS vendor config?
