We are taking a hard look at our current courses and trying to be consistent and methodical about designating them Formal vs. Informal. One type of course has me a little confused, that being E-learning courses that contain only recordings of previous VILT sessions or meetings and maybe a slide deck or a few PDFs. Does this count as Informal Learning? Does it change if the recording is of an actual training with learning objectives and the course maybe includes a quiz? Thanks for your 2 cents. 

Hey, we have selected the option of ‘automatic unenrollment’ in the properties field of the course shell as shown below.  However, the option is not removing deactivated users from future ILT sessions.  Is there something I am missing?  

Hi everyone!I wonder if you could help me.  I have a spreadsheet of training and, although some of the courses are the same, each expiry date of the training is different.  I’m mulling over whether it’s best to upload en masse to external training or whether it’s more apt to set up an ILT course.  I plumped for ILT, but not sure what to do about all these expiry dates (it’s looking like I might have to enter each individually).  I noticed on the bulk upload that there is an active until section but this doesn’t seem to affect anything and ideally I’d like a notification to the individual to let them know they need to do this again.  I am also considering renewals, but again there’s so many start and end dates it would be very time consuming to go through each one. Has anyone got any best ideas on this or will I have to do this one by one?Thanks for your helpKeep safePaul 

I’m curious if there are any fellow accounting firms in the Community?We’re onboarding Docebo as our LMS, but we use Prolaera (soon to become LCVista) to track our CPAs’ continuing professional education towards their license renewal requirements. Would love to hear if/how other firms are integrating Docebo with CPE tracking platforms.

We want to change the button color for our Open ID Connect button.  We’ve changed the text in the button using the localization tool, however if anyone has information on how to best change the button to a color other than white, we would be much appreciative. 

We’re reviewing our processes and the suggestion has been floated to create an e-learning “companion” course for each new (V)ILT course.This course would be used to host the course recording(s), slide decks and any other training materials.Does anyone have experience with this practice? I’m trying to figure out how this could work in terms of user enrollment, equivalencies, reporting, etc. Thankyamushhh!

Is there a way to run a report on courses within a learning plan that simply returns details about all the courses in that learning plan, pulling from course additional fields? For example, I need to know the course duration (what we’ve determined to be the anticipated duration of the course, not the user’s time) of all our courses in our learning plans. We have that set in the Course Additional Fields section. So, at a basic level, the report would look like:Course Name Course Duration Course #1 15  Course #2 10 Course #3 15  And continuing for all the courses within that specific learning plan.

Is anyone else having issue with import jobs? I have logged 2 jobs and they are sitting in the queue for over an hour...logged a ticket and am waiting to hear from support...

Dear Community,We were looking at the Knowledge Base and are a little confused regarding the visibility of courses in channels. Here the link to the article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020079840-Creating-and-managing-channels-without-Discover-Coach-Share.We are using channels to create “swimlanes” on user’s dashboard (page.) They can see the content in which they are enrolled. This is working very well, but the article states something different, basically that the course needs to be configured for “Self-enrollment”. This is not what we currently experience and we wish to show only courses in which users are enrolled. Are we missing or misunderstanding something? Hello! I was wondering if anyone on this platform has to take into consideration OSHA standards for certain certifications (i.e. Forklift training) and if so, how you’ve handled recording the specific information needed on those certifications. Our initial thoughts were to do it via “External training” but I was hoping there may be a better work around solution that someone has found. Thanks! 

Is it possible to organize learning plans into Categories just like what we can do for courses?

Is it possible to control self-enrolments at session level? For context, all staff are enrolled on a Course, for them to then self-enroll into an ILT session.  However, I want to be able to turn self-enrolments on/off at session level.  I have only found self-enrolment options at course level. Does anybody have the answer?

Can anyone give me details on Docebo’s ability to communicate with other software/systems to perhaps restrict user’s access to areas of a facility based on user’s training deficiencies? 

My use case: Admin Academy initially had two learning plans: Plan 1 (outdated) and Plan 2 (updated). To address confusion among stakeholders, we consolidated these into a single plan. New content gradually replaces old content. Learners who completed both old and new content retain credit, while those who only completed outdated content now show "In Progress" status.How do you seasoned admins typically handle this? It’s a big debate at my company! Do we give them credit for the new content if they completed the old version? I personally think not since the content contains new information.What do you do? 

Did something change recently with how the API handles the setting “Visible to User” for Enrollment Additional Fields? Suddenly I am getting a “Invalid enrollment fields data provided” error in the learn/v1/enrollments API when trying to set a field that has Visible to User=false.

Hello!We are working on creating our power user profiles and permissions but we are having a hard time understanding the assigned resources part of it. Does any one have tips or best practices used when assigning the resources?We will have creating power user profiles for all managers so that they can enroll/unenroll their direct reports.

If this is posted somewhere, please share the link. I am looking for a way to create an analytical rubric for grading in-person attendees of an ILT session. Questions to Frame the Idea:How do grading rubrics work in Docebo?  What can instructors do to evaluate attendees without the attendees submitting something in an assignment or test?  Where is a feature equivalent to selecting levels of learner performance in certain categories of measurement that are automatically added up as a score?  What does it look like to the learner? Can they see the score details?  Are their integrations or third party tools that could be used instead? If so, what are they? Maybe I’m asking too much, but we’d love to streamline our observations but the observations checklist doesn’t seem to be a scoring method. Perhaps there is a combination of features and tools with the checklists that I could use. Open to

Hi all, I’m trying to upload an MP4 video to a course shell and it is uploading, but then has the grey wheel while it converts it to be suitable for mobile phones etc.This is the first time I’ve done it and it’s been like this for hours! Is that normal?While it is converting the learner cannot see any training material.It does the same thing whether I share as a YouTube link or by uploading the video itself.Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.Lucy

Hi Docebo Friends, Has anyone else has issues with Notifications malfunctioning?  Here are the two recurring issues we’ve been dealing with and haven’t gotten a resolution yet.  Upload/Notification Communication IssueRecurring issues a few weeks apart. A learner uploaded a document to Learner Assignments, her manager got a notification, when she went to approve it the upload was nowhere to be found.  Issue with our customer today: she had two notifications sent to her email that said someone uploaded (two different times) and there was only one upload to be found.   Certificate Expiration Notification misfiring to a different user as well as our CEO Our notifications are set up to notify a specific user of their certificate’s expiration timeline. Is there a way to display a catalogue in the calendar view and to show filters? I am trying to find a way to show all ILT sessions in a calendar view, and then allow the training teams who provided them to filter based on their team so they can see their workload.When adding ‘Additional Fields’ to our courses it normally shows them as a filter in a catalogue, but no filters are shown in the calendar view. Is there a way to force the filters to display? Or an alternative workaround that anyone can think of?

I have a course that helps people determine what status their certificates are in by the use of an interactive Q&A created in storyline and uploaded in TinCan, and then tells them what they should do to resolve it. Ideally this course would not save any status, and start completely fresh each time the user comes to it. (Kind of the opposite of any other course!)Does anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this? The saved status is confusing my users.

Is there a report or can the Course to User custom report options be updated to allow for the displaying of zero enrollment courses.  I know that you can look at the course meta data on individual courses in the reports tab but this is not helpful.  If a filter could be added to usage statistics to allow for ‘zero enrollments’ that would be great
