Solved

We have a small number of courses that are waitlisted.  The internal team reviews the courses to determine if the registrants get approved into the course or not.  I understand you can view the waitlist inside Docebo.  Is there anyway an email can be triggered to a shared inbox when someone is added to the waitlist?  Is this possible?

Hi Community, In attached screenshot you’ll see quickly what I mean. Basically, it bewilders me, that I find Import buttons and options everywhere in docebo, while I mostly miss an Export button. Is there a general way over the one of the Gear-Icon menues? Thanks in advance and have a great rest of the weekRoli PS: And could anyone let me know, if I post this in the right category? I find it tricky to select the correct one with such a long category list!

Hi!Can someone confirm I have this correct. I created an enrollment rule for all new hires so that it would auto assign them content. I wanted to add both courses and learning plans to this group but it looks like I can only assign one or the other to this rule. Is that correct? If so, it looks like I need a New Hire~Courses + New Hire~Learning Plans enrollment rules. Or am I missing something? thank you!

Hi EveryoneI want a notification to go out 50 weeks after a specific course has been completed, reminding the Learner of a task that needs to be carried out.  I have tested this using the Learner Completed a Course template and it works.  However the specific course needs to be repeated every 3 years so I’m wondering whether, once the learner completes the course for the first time and the status is recorded as Completed, in 3 years’ time when the course is repeated will the Learner Completed a Course notification still be triggered?I haven’t used the Certification has expired or Certification has been issued templates as they can not be assigned to a specific course. Many thanks

Hi everyone! I’m new to Docebo, and to the community! My current challenge is managing our compliance training. How can I create a report that shows incomplete or expired mandated courses? I have to report each month on the % of users who have outstanding training rather than the % of courses that are outstanding.Thank you!Paula

HiIs there a way to see what notifications are linked to a course without having to select each notification individually?  I would like to see under Course management, when I select a course the notifications are displayed somewhere here. Thanks

Hi Brains Trust,I am creating an external LMS site for non employees to have access to training.  Some modules will incur a cost and some will not.  I understand that in May there is a new release around LPs.  My issue is can you have a course catolgue sitting in the LPs.  I need some user to see that they will need to pay and some wont but when I change the eCommerce function in course management that will change it for everyone.

We use a LOT of groups (audiences). As a result, I need a way to create them more quickly.I previously found out that everything in the API is now referred to as Audiences. Does anyone have any experience creating groups in the API that I could use as a starting point?Once I have some basic idea, I hope to set it up in Postman to pull the data from a CSV file. Or possibly Python. My skillset in those is minimum but I can use AI to help.

I have a course allocation form from the user that programmatically needs to check if the user already exists in the learning plan or course. Based on what was asked for, I will add or remove them from the LP or course.  I am unable to locate an API endpoint that can provide me with a list of users who are enrolled in a course or LP. Alternatively, I can’t find an endpoint that can provide me with all the LPs or courses for a particular user. If I can obtain a list of courses or LPs for a user, I can compare it with my records and send an add or remove request to the API endpoint to make necessary updates. Can you please suggest any API endpoints that can help me achieve the above?

Hello,Quick question, Can we use the same course for multiple Learning Plans? I am creating different New hire training plans but there are 2 courses that everyone has to take no matter your level.Thank you,

Hi all,Hopefully a quick and straight forward question to anyone that uses Docebo Connect for the Outlook integration…Is it only the ‘admin’ Outlook account that links to Connect that needs to be M365?We are moving across to 365, but probably not until next year, but we do have a number of licences for it for testing and configuration.  My thinking is that we can use one of these accounts to do the ‘middle man’ bit of Connect that will then send an invite to the rest of the firm’s 2016 Outlook accounts.I really hope this is the case 😊

hi, I am trying to add an interactive reaction buttons html widget to my LMS homepage. when I test the code on an external platform, it seems to work fine, but when I try to add this to an HTML widget, for some reason the buttons are not visible, and the html code I am adding in the widget configuration settings, disappears. is there any additional configuration I need to do here?would appreciate any help, thanks!

Hi everyone! I feel like I may be missing something very obvious. Use case: Instructor of an e-Learning course receives notification if a learner failed the course test onlyCurrent set up: “Learner completed or failed a test in a course” notification is set up; I don’t see anywhere that I could limit the notification to just failures. The passing score is set up accurately for the test itself and shows up accurately on the reports page. Current outcome: Instructor receives an email each time someone takes the test, not only when the learner fails. Question: Is there a way for the email to only trigger when the learner fails the test?

Can non-power users download a new custom report which has been delivered to them via email as a scheduled report? In the past we haven’t have any issue with non-power users being able to download reports this way however, in recent weeks we’ve been receiving many reports of errors when non-power users try to download reports from scheduled emails.

Hello Docebians!I have been doing some testing using session waitlist and want to confirm my findings too make sure I am not missing anything. USE CASE: Enrollment deadline imposed at session level.  We still want users to be able to enroll but be waitlisted so the admin can move them and have that visibility to late enrollees to be able to send out comms/materials. FINDINGS: Imposing a deadline removes the session from user visibility on that date regardless if there is capacity.  This means that the waitlist function is based purely on seating capacity and doesn’t allow for a secondary utilization based on enrollment deadlines. SOLUTION: It seems that the only way to have a waitlist enabled based on an enrollment deadline is to manually set the session capacity to match current enrollment count on the day of the enrollment deadline. This is less than desirable because of 1) the manual monitoring 2) session change notifications are not functioning correctly and would send unless manip

@steveninfinger it was great to see your presentation at Docebo Inspire! That is how I heard about this awesome group. I can’t wait to learn more from you all. :)I have a question about making a set of pages navigable across domains. The user’s experience of the page would be tailored depending on their domain. For example, customer domain users will see different catalogs on the pages than employee users. How do you approach navigation and link sharing in a scenario like this? I have found that I can use relative links with widgets to get users where they need to go without including /employee in the URL, but I have not found a way to return them back to the main page without fully spelling out the URL, including /employee in the domain. A link like that wouldn’t work for someone who isn’t in the /employee domain.Should I be building pages unique to their domain to avoid the link and navigation complexities? This sounds like a lot of extra work and redundancy that will be difficult to m

Is there a way to unassign a course from all learning pathways?Currently, I can only see how to unassign a course from a learning pathway one at a time, and there is no ‘select all’ option.I need to remove a course from over 100+ learning pathways.Any ideas on the best way to complete this?

So I have created an elearning course that contains only an HTML page. I am trying to use is as a “what’s next” description as the last class within learning plans. However since classes in learning plans automatically return to the learning plan when they are completed, my user experience is compromised. A learner opens the material and it displays for about a half a second before the class marks complete and they are returned to the learning plan. To actually read the text they need to then reopen the class.  this is not intuitive, so users are confused. Has anyone found a way to either set a class not to automatically return to the learning plan class list on completion or to pause the return until the user gets a chance to read the material on an HTML page?

We have gotten our people very interested in earning badges, and we’re using the badging inside Docebo as part of that.I know how to display to someone what badges they have earned, but is there a way to list everyone who has earned a certain badge?Part of the value of badges for our people is seeing their name on a list along with all the other learners. So they see if their friends, teammates, direct reports, etc, have earned a badge at a glance.Right now we’re using an HTML/WYSIWYG widget and just writing everyone’s name to display on a page, but if there’s a better way I know the clever Docebo community has figured it out.So what are you guys doing to display to the whole organization everyone who has earned a particular badge?

Can anyone explain why our Power Users cannot see all notifications?  I have a power user profile which has NOTIFICATIONS: CREATE, EDIT, VIEW.  and has access to edit the courses that the notifications are attached to and the users. They can see the course, they can see the enrolments, but the notification management area is empty.

Hello,I pulled a training material from the central repository to a new course i created, I am noticing that when I enroll a user to the new course its making them complete automatically. Any suggestions?

Happy Monday to the whole community! 😎Today I have a question (and a request for suggestions as well) related to Channels. My main question concerns the customization of these channels: is it possible to change their layout (e.g. like the homepage) in order to sort the content and give order to the different materials? I would not like it to become a kind of "basket" in which various things are just posted , without any order or logic.Of course, advice on how best to use channels to share knowledge within the company is welcome! Many thanks as always to everyone for the support.Have a nice day!! 😉 Edo

Hi allI’m dipping my toes into Docebo Connect, and am a bit stuck on what should be a basic task. I want to get values from User Additional Fields, but the Get User by ID function does not seem to return them. It returns all of the standard user fields, but not the custom ones we have created.Does anyone from the community have any insight into this? Many thanks,Alan

Hi There, I was wondering if anyone knew how to customise the fields displayed underneath a team member in the ‘My Team’ tab, currently mine are displaying ‘Certifications Overdue’ and ‘Courses overdue’ We don’t really use Docebo for this so i would like to change the display fields to Completed and In Progress courses Cheers

Greetings, Everyone! We are reaching out to see if anybody within the community is willing to connect and share with us their experience implementing the Extended Enterprise with multiple domains. We are getting ready to implement it but we would really like to have a conversation with the ones that have gone through the process.
