🏆 October 2022: Week 3 Results

These results are from the week of October 17-21. Last week, we held our 5th annual Docebo Inspire virtually and it was incredible! I’m eager to share the results from last week as we hit another community milestone. [UPDATED] Docebo Learn LMS Release Schedule 2022

July 2022 UPDATE: Starting September 2022, all Docebo Product Updates (Mid-Month Maintenance Releases, Sandbox Updates and Monthly Product Updates) will move from Wednesdays to Mondays. Starting March 2022, the Docebo Learn platform will move from a weekly maintenance release schedule to a twice monthly maintenance release.  This shift comes as a result of feedback from customers wanting  greater stability of the LMS during and after maintenance releases, along with the desire for more detailed resources from Docebo Help, Docebo University and Docebo Community for maintenance releases. By reducing the amount of times we release new or updated code in your LMS, we’re decreasing the risk of any release-related issues that may occur in your platform either during or shortly after a release. This also allows our quality assurance team the ability to perform more thorough testing for any identified bugs  that are being fixed by our Product Team. We know this change may stir up some question

What was your fav part of DU @ Inspire?

Having been to many platform conferences before, I was looking forward to Docebos take as I got to finally attend my first Inspire. They did not disappoint, enjoyed the platform and the wide range of topics and participants having great and open discussions. I found it fun to hop around the round tables and listening to people share, it was like a microcosm of the wonderfulness of the community site but live. Looking forward to the next two days! Who went today? Pick up any great new info you plan to use?

Mobile Solutions Opinion

Curious, what is your experience with learners accessing content on phones or tablets? I have learners in our organization asking about options for mobile phones, I just do not see the phone being conducive for courses, however I may be wrong. Please let me know your thoughts.  Thank you!

Are others seeing Failed and “Locked” Course Purchases??

Hello Docebo Community!We are using Authorize.Net as our payment gateway, and are repeatedly experiencing a problem that requires manual intervention.  I'd very interested to hear from the community if others are seeing something similar. Or even better, I have my fingers crossed that someone has come up with a clean solution.  : ) We are have been escalated with Docebo support for quite some time, but they have not been able to provide any help yet. Problem Description:Case #1- Courses added to the shopping cart get stuck in s "pending state"- The end user cannot access the course- The end user can't abort the transaction- The end user can't perform a replacement purchase transaction The end user is stuck.  They have to call us, we clear the transactions and have them resubmit.  Sometimes we have to repeat the process more than once. Case #2- All of #1… PLUS… Payment was processed and customer was charged.  (This results in even less pleasant phone conversations) Case #3- All of #2… P

What's wrong with ILT

Hi all,We recently ran a few tests using ILT in Docebo. There’s definitely some issues with ILT (and vILT) and I wanted to post these here in case someone at Docebo is listening. ILT is overly complicated in general and the end user experience leaves A LOT to be desired. Here are some of my findings. End User Issues:Two different interfaces if users are enrolled vs. not enrolled into the vILT course. Issue if user is assigned more than one session. Difficult to find and launch session. Course calendar entry in Docebo sends users to the entire list of entries, instead of the one they clicked on. Very frustrating if many sessions are listed. Calendar issue when user clicks on an event calendar link within Docebo. It creates another calendar within Outlook. Only happens when user clicks the link in Docebo, not the confirmation email .ics file, which adds to the primary calendar. There is overlapping text on the drop-down menu above the enroll button. Shows PLAY button after enrollment and

Hi everyone and happy Monday! If you’re just logging into the community for the first time since the weekend, you might notice that our membership has skyrocketed! We’ve almost doubled our membership since Friday, currently sitting at 186 members at the time I’m writing this post (and there’s a good chance we’ve already passed the 2x mark by the time you read this post). If you’re new around here, welcome! 🎉 We invited ~950 new early adopters to join us in this wonderful community today (Monday, May 3rd). Task Reminder

A client asked for an option to set up task reminders within the LMS, not necessarily course related.  The ability to freely type a task, and set a reminder to be notified of this task via the bell notification and client’s email. The Help Desk confirmed there wasn’t anything available like this.  How do I get this idea put on the radar? Thank you!

I always enjoy leaving some more interesting projects or ‘possibilities’ for Friday’s as it seems to end up being a time of working through items and getting to new or surprising results.
