Hi All,I’m wondering what others are doing about the base system Outlook/Teams connection? Or what others have thought about Docebo Connect? We explored Docebo Connect this last year, but it was deemed too expensive.The main issue we have with the base product set up is the calendar invites do not get auto loaded to outlook calendars. Users need to add the calendar invite from the notification and many of our employees do not see the emails to do this. Not all employees go through their emails very often. The same is true for the instructors as well. One idea we had was to email the registered employees a few days prior to the event with a link to the calendar invite and the Docebo course link. However, this means the process becomes more manual.Anything you have done that has proven to improve this process?Thank you,Steph

Hello All,For the first year plus with Docebo, upon a customer purchasing a Course or Learning Plan we were generating random passwords that were included in the Activation Notification via the [password] shortcode. The student used that password for their first login, and was forced to reset it when they logged in for the first time. I guess Docebo decided for us that sending their password via email was not secure because now the [password] shortcode sends a “Reset Your Password” link in the Activation Notification. (Why that shortcode is still available in the Notifications is a separate question for another time!)We’ve had quite a few students that get confused by this setup and ultimately make a phone call to us, which means we end up walking them through the password reset process. This obviously isn’t a great result of Docebo’s decision making process, which usually doesn’t consider the possible ramifications to its customers.I’m curious what other Docebo

Hello - does anyone know of a way to automatically assign a user to license automatically?   We have several branches that have purchased unrestricted/unlimited licenses. Daily, we add new users to the licenses purchased by each branch. We would love a way to automate this. Any ideas?

Hi all you Docebo specialists.  A quick question from a Docebo starter. How can i easily import courses from a CSV & which fields are required. I know how to import users via a CSV, both via users  and the automation app. Reason is that i want to upload the recent history of courses into Docebo ( we’re starting with docebo and we want to give the users their history of courses they’ve enrolled)  

Because of the way we set up accounts for Docebo - they’re linked to customer accounts that are managed by another team - it’s common for our users to miss the language preference, and they often get stuck with EN as their language. I’d like to create as straightforward a method as possible to allow them to change that, but communicating in English to non-English speakers to open the My Profile link, then click the Preferences tab and then choose their language is a lot.I’d love to be able to link users directly to My Profile>Preferences but i don’t see a way to do that. I have created a video which demonstrates this process which I could use in a pinch (so on the dashboards users would see a language button which would take them to a page which hosts this video) but that feels too workaroundy for me.If anyone has any input that would be greatly appreciated.

I have three user typesLegacy Student AlumniAll three user types have access to our course discussion pages but all three users have different home pages. I’d like for a “return to Home Page button” on the course discussion page to link them back to their relevant home page… is that possible?  Currently it links to the Legacy Home Page. Which is fine for Legacy Users and Alumni Users who have are part of the Legacy User group… but it doesn’t work for our Student users and Alumni users who are not part of the Legacy user group. Any ideas for a work around? 

I’m in the middle of doing some page updates/cleaning up and I am stuck trying to figure out which single menu a page is associated to and I’m stuck jumping between menus trying to figure out where it lives. This made me realize - we need to adopt some best practices for page and menu management!Does anyone have any tips they would like to share when it comes to organizing and tracking which pages are associated to which menu?

Hello everyone,I checked the forum to see if there’s already a post about this, but couldn’t find anything. I was testing certifications and notifications on our Sandbox and noticed that we have notifications in the database for when a certification gets issued and when a certification is about to expire. But there isn’t a notification for the successful renewal of a certification. From an end user perspective, when I receive a notification that a certification is about to expire and I retake that course, I would expect to also receive a notification confirming that my certification has been renewed, with the new expiry date. However, the notification for an issued certification seems to be only sent for upon first completion, not for the retakes. Can anyone confirm this or am I doing something wrong? At least when I tested it and renewed my certification I didn’t get another email about a successful renewal.

I would like remove the button “enroll” and “syllabus” from a course page. (like the screenshot below)Before the new course player, we used a CSS code to remove that but now it doesn’t work anymore. The course is an e-learning that we have adapted like a “window” of our training. The objective is to have a showcase of the learning plan by showing only the description of the course and that learners cannot enroll for it. (Because this is the manager who enrolls in our process) Does anyone know what CSS code we should use?Thank you in advance for your help, 

We are using the subscription codes plugin so that users can enroll into courses using a subscription code. Once they have enrolled, the group assignment puts them in a “paid users” group and they get access to different menus and pages - but unfortunately, none of this happens until they log out and back in.Is there any way of forcing a refresh, or achieve a similar result a different way? Even if I manually enroll a user in a course that puts them in this group, nothing changes for them until they log out and back in. For example, if they enroll in a vILT course that has sessions, I would quite like for them to now have access to the calendar, or for the catalog page to include a calendar, but they wouldn’t see it until perhaps days later...

How do you monitor/handle/clean up users who are not enrolled in a session? If the user is not enrolled in a session, they do not receive notifications set up for the session. It is a bit unreasonable to have a staff member manually monitor this and enroll the user into the session. This is also not possible if there are multiple sessions since we do not know which one the user intended to enroll into. Just curious on how you all manage this process!  Thank you,Courtney

Hi! I am testing building a course fully in Articulate Storyline, including the final assessment and wanted to see how docebo would report it. I know that Rise allows me to see the actual question learners responds to in the reporting, but does anyone have insight on how/if Storyline can do the same. The current reporting from a Storyline quiz shows the scene, slide, and question type as the Question rather than the question itself. See image below. is there anyway to take a group of user that was enrolled before a branch was created and enroll them into a Branch that was created later?

I would like to enroll a user automatically into an ILT when they are registering for a LP. This is not possible.The only way at the moment is to enter one of the courses that the user is enrolled in by the LP and then create and assign that group to an enrollment rule for those ILT courses. But this is not interesting for us, as the users can also register to any course in the LP separately. Anyone with the same issue? 

In the external training app, the user column are our employee’s ID #s because that is their username in the system. Is it possible to change these columns to add their first/last name or email? It would be easier for the admin navigating this page if we could see other columns besides just the user column. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if it’s possible to customize these columns? 

Hi! Looking for best practices here. We have a few use cases where after a period of time, or a cert expires, an employee has to re take the course. But we need to keep all records of completion. From my testing, it will either keep the original date of completion, or delete the historical info and re assign as a new course only keeping the most recent date of completion. Does anyone have similar use cases and best practices they can share?

New Hire Onboarding:  How do other companies assign mandatory training for completion on the New Hire’s employment start date (with a soft deadline so it doesn’t lock out the course)??   What we need:Enrollment automation with accurate (soft) due date / time for completion assigned for day 1 of employment.  Limitations and challenges we’re experiencing:For our purposes, we need the enrollment automation for compliance tracking purposes - we cannot use self-enrollment and do not want to rely on Power Users to manually assign.    Currently, our enrollment automation is based on group settings for the user’s “creation date” which is functioning for everything, except an accurate deadline, particularly on Day 1 of employment.  Detailed explanation:  I don’t see a function to enroll based on the “user additional field” > “employment start date = today”.  The functionality seems to only allow

Hi all,I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I cannot get courses to show up in Channels without being enrolled. We have it checked in Advanced settings to Show courses where users can self-enroll in channels. I can get assets to show up if I load them from the front end. I am so confused on why this isn’t working. Please help! 

Hi Community,I do the User Import for our internal employees and I’m tryign to explore more ways to make the process a little easier as we continue to grow.Currently, we already import our users via CSV but was wondering if there is a away to schedule an import to occur early morning outside fo work hours. Does anyone know if this is a possible option and how/where we could set this up? Thanks!
