When a user accesses a recording of a webinar, and the Mark the event as attended if the user accesses the recordings option is selected, is there no way to automatically mark them completed when there is only 1 session and 1 event? 

Based on our organizational model, we need to give Power users the possibility to subscribe / unsubscribe users to individual course sessions in the physical / virtual classroom, but PREVENTING them from being able to set the COMPLETED status of a course if the individual member did not actually participate. What Power User permissions should I configure to achieve this desired outcome?

Hi,May I know if there is a way for PUs to directly select Suspended status for users’ enrolment to e-Learning courses? At the moment, a PU can only select Enrolled status. Some of our clients require their learners to apply for e-Learning course enrolment and get approval from their managers first. The current steps that PUs need to do if they want to reject the application is:Select Enrolled status Once user is enrolled, then only they can change the status to SuspendedThis cause a lot of confusions to their users due to email notifications. First, they received notification saying they have been enrolled, minutes later received another notification saying they have been suspended from the same course.If this is expected behavior, may we know the logic behind it so we can better explain it to the client?Thank you so much.

 Hello!!I would like to know how you control external certificates on the platform.The process I want to implement is:HR creates ILT session (provide for training institutes), the student enrolls in the session and takes the course. After completion, the training institute sends the certificates to the HR person who upload it in the LMS (course assignment?).This certificate that was uploaded into the LMS must be easily accessible to download.We will also have to send this certificate (PDF file) via API to another system. Is there an Docebo´s APIs  for this integration?

Hello! I’d like to set up daily activities for users to activate their brains in the morning. I have four ideas so far.Daily 5 minute meditation (video)Daily goal-setting session (video)Daily sudoku (game)Daily crossword (game) I’ll deal with random generated sudoku and crosswords later, but if anyone has suggestions let me know. I’d like to be able to reward users for doing these tasks daily - e.g. resetting everyone at midnight to “course incomplete” and then allowing users to gain points, badges and coins for the number of times they’ve completed these courses (e.g. give them 5 points and 5 coins and a badge after 10 completions of any of these, 10 points and 10 coins and a badge after 25 completions of any of these) plus rewards for daily completions (e.g. up to 4 points and 4 coins daily for completing all four). Can I do this (or some of this) somehow?

We are looking for an API, where we can assign a course directly to a branch, so all the users of that branch can access this new course. we have access to below url and can test it once get any API for this requirement. https://nweastaging.docebosaas.com/api-browser/This functionality can be achieved via GUI, so if this can also be possible via API it will be helpful. 

We are a very small charity and none of us overly good with IT systems. We have set up and have been using Docebo for a number of years now, but there are issues we have with the system that i am sure could be easily resolved with some coding and re-design, non of us however are competent to do this ourselves. Has anyone used an external body to do this that they could recommend? Unsure if Docebo offers this service itself?

Basically just a mini reminder that learning is best done in chunks over time vs all at once.

Hi, I have changed the catalog name, icon in the Manage Pages-All catalogs- HTML /WYSIWYG from Material Science to Laboratory water, also changes are done on CSS accordingly..- However when I click on the link it opens Material Science- Although URL is correct but it opens previous “Material Science” catalog instead of Laboratory Water- 

How do you display similar courses  that are delivered in different regions?

Hi all,The recent update from Docebo enables us to upload SCORM file training material in ILT/VILT course. Can anyone share with me the case scenarios or how I can take full advantage of this new update in an organization? I also would like to understand the impact it will bring if we would like to use it, especially in VILT?Thank you.

I want to deploy a few different campaigns to drive interest. I also want to know the effectiveness of each. I thought of using subscription codes in my campaigns. I was thinking 3 campaigns using 3 codes. I can see the users based on code usage to see campaign effectiveness. I am currently testing my use case, but it appears each scription code could only be used once. How can I configure it for multiple uses. If I can’t, any suggestions on my use case would be much appreciated. 

Hi,I’m trying to create an automatic group for managers only, I realize that we can only bring in fields from the Additional Fields tab. What is the best practice to create a manager group for your company? The workaround is to create the group manually, but considering there are a lot of managers, and the inability to import users using the csv file, I’m hoping that we don’t have go this route! :)Any ideas and suggestions would be very much appreciated.Thanks,Kevin 

At my institution, new hire employees receive several training assignments based on their role.  Someone else set up the original enrollment rules and notifications, and I inherited the ongoing maintenance.  I was recently horrified to learn that new employees may receive up to 5 digest notifications on their first day!  Does anyone have any tips for how I can combine those down to a single email that lists all of the courses assigned that day?If it helps, one enrollment rule assigns all of the core trainings that are required for everyone and there are 4 more rules that assign a single course each based on the individual’s role (different criteria used for each).  The same notification template is associated with all 5 enrollment rules. The event trigger for the notification is “Digest: user enrolled to a course.”

I have hit a bit of a road block and need some assistance I am trying to develop plan to launch the D/C/S features and while I understand how the features work its narrowing down the channels and structuring everything. I have looked at the best practices but its just getting things in gear is where myself and the team are stuck...any ideas on how I can move this along?

We are thinking of switching to self-registration. Currently our users are either manually added (external users) or their accounts are automatically created via SSO. We use Active Directory as the basis for OKTA, our SSO platform, and our IT dept. does not update as frequently as we would like. It also does not have all of the fields we need including branch. Switching to self-registration would eliminate the manual entry for external customers and assign branch and  current info. Does any one have experience with this? I am assuming an account created via self-registration (using the SSO password) would be able to log in via SSO subsequently. Any advice or best practices would be appreciated.

We currently have a ticket open with the Docebo support team, but I wanted to see if anyone in the community is currently experiencing (or has experienced) an error when trying to complete a course import via CSV?  Over the past week, we are getting the same error of “Unable to receive results from: course/importCourses.”  We are troubleshooting from both sides (internally with our SFTP and with Docebo).  Here are a few call-outs:We’ve successfully processed other imports using the same automation app previously Three daily user/manager imports from the same SFTP location are continuing to process successfully (same SFTP, different “Active action”) We’ve tested in sandbox, production, and with two different SFTP sites and all have resulted in the same error

We are hoping to find functionality via API that will assign all users that are in a particular branch into a group, much like you can do through the UI (as seen in screenshot). Could someone point me to the solution for this? Thank you!  

I’m adding subtitles to our video training materials and I’m wondering if someone has found a way to set subtitles to “off” as the default. While we wan’t to provide the option to use them, we don’t want them to always be on. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I notices that the Emoji button is no longer available in the toolbar for course discriptions. Is this just for the moment or a long term thing? We used them quite often!

Hi everybody,has anyone ever tried to shorten the number of list items shown in the “Courses and Learning Plans” widget? I would like to have the button “Load More” already appear after one row of list items. 

I just received an notification that Idea DL-I-1325 - Add a setting for hiding all change password related options has changed to SHIPPED.  Has anyone been able to find the switch?  I have looked and so far I have not been able to locate it.We have been struggling with inconsistent results across branches using CSS coding to hide it and are anxious to get this fix implemented.
