Any suggestions for most effectively and quickly testing email notifications? Right now we just want to test some of the short codes, but will eventually need to trigger all of our notifications. Curious if anyone has any shortcut. 

I’m looking to edit our end-of-course survey. Currently we have a VERY LONG survey that I am ready to get rid of. We use the survey tool at the end of each course and set it as the end object marker. Therefore, users are required to take it to get their certificates but they get angry at the length. I would too.   Would anyone be willing to share your surveys so I can get an idea of how we can effectively evaluate our courses with fewer questions?Looking for around 10 strong questions.Thanks for your help!

Even though I’ve been using Docebo for a couple years now I just found a setting in admin/advanced features that helped me solve this problem.When a user didn’t complete a course before their deadline, we would go in an edit the enrollment and extend the deadline. This worked on a case by case basis. But when we onboard dozens of part time staff twice a year, this got to be too much on the administrator so we stopped using an enrollment deadline. This took away the added benefit of having the deadline for managers to track their staff status of completion against the deadline especially when viewing My Team page. I just happened upon a setting that I didn’t give a whole lot of thought to when we were setting up the system but solves this issue. You can enable a “soft” deadline by going to the E-learning tab in advanced setting and clicking the checkbox: “Allow users to enter an E-Learning course even if the enrollment validity or course end date is expired” Hope this l

I have a use case where EA8 from NGP VAN is used for email campaigns and links to Docebo courses/assets are included in these emails. It seems however that this system can’t deliver links that contain the hash symbol - when users try to click on the link, they get an error page. Suggested workarounds have included:Using the email newsletter feature in Docebo. This would likely require some integration with NGP VAN’s systems in order to get the data needed from email interactions. Continue using EA8 for emails and leveraging https://bitly.com/ which generates shorter links with no hash symbol and allows for metric tracking.I wanted to check with the Community to see if anyone else has encountered this and if they’ve tried other solutions. cc:

Hi Everyone!I’m creating an onboarding channel for new hires and have come across a question about prerequisites that I’m hoping someone has some suggestions for.The onboarding channel is made up of learning plans which hold content for Our Culture, Our Clients, Our Brand etc… What we’d like to do is have a course that needs to be completed before those learning plans are ‘unlocked’ which explains to them what their onboarding looks like, and some suggestions for using the platform before they get stuck in.Essentially the steps would be:New Hire logs on and can see their onboarding channel All learning plans within the channel are ‘locked’ other than the Navigating Your Onboarding course. Once the Navigating course is completed, the learning plans are unlocked.Has anyone tried this or got any ideas for how it might be achievable?Thanks so much in advance!

I am new to Docebo and I am struggling to figure out the best way to notify learners that they need to complete a post-course/session evaluation for ILTs. Could someone please school me on my options? I see I can add a survey as a course material, but I can’t see a related notification to let learners know they need to complete that. We use Zoom for ILTs so after the session is over, our learners just dip out. How can I alert them that they need to complete this eval ASAP?Should I be using Learning Impact? It doesn’t appear I have that option. Any advice is appreciated.  

We are trying to upload a second build of the branded mobile app to the iOS store. When I generated the new build (which had a different platform URL than the first build) the build number did not increment. Apple will not accept a build with the same build number and version number.  The instruction's from support say to edit the build number in Xcode. Our developers say you cant use Xcode to modify the IPA. They say you have to ‘hack’ the IPA to change the build and version number and are surprised that Docebo recommends this way. Has anyone else encountered this problem and have a solution to share? 

I need to create courses so that when the content is launched it uses a URL and takes the user to a 3rd party site where the content is hosted.  In my previous experience I could link a URL as content so that when the content was launched from the course in LMS, it took user to the destination via the URL.  I don’t see that ability with Docebo.  I could put a link in the description, but then we lose all tracking and completion info. Has anyone else done this?  Am I just missing something?

We would like to redesign our customer-facing sit--currently a Word Press site that links into Docebo. We’d like to see how other Docebo users are handling this. Please share the link to your customer course site, or if you would prefer to do this privately, direct message me. Thanks!

@Adam Ballhaussen , I am looking to add comments widget to courses. But, I would like to hide them or be able to moderate them before it’s open for view. Is there anyway I can achieve this? I would also love to hear any alternatives to this from those who are using such feedback widgets. With gratitude- Susmitha

Hello Community. So this week, users started getting a 403 error when attempting to “Ask the Expert.” Only superadmins would not get the error. I wracked my brain trying to troubleshoot this as it was working previously with no obvious changes to anything. I ended up in with a support ticket.The “solution” was very surprising to me and I want to share in an effort to save others some time and effort. Surely I can’t be the only one who’s experienced this. The solution as per support was to enable the setting “Users must select a channel when asking questions” in Discover, Coach and Share Settings. (We were not previously requiring the user to select a channel to assign the question to because our Q&A is set up to seem more like a discussion forum and we didn’t want to force user to pick a channel.) So now we are forced to require the user to assign a channel. So I set up a “General Discuss and Share” channel, put it at the top of the channel list so the user doesn’t have t

Internally we are being asked if we can share some materials from our repository to other systems through the API?  As we build course and training we often have small segments of content our unified communication teams would like to share in our private documents site without publishing content in a youtube channel or the like.  Has anyone had luck in doing this.  

Hi there,  I am looking to roll out an annual training that will exclude the all new hires.I wanted to create a group of users to launch a learning plan for anyone who is in the system excluding new hires. so once the training is assigned to that group, will it reassign  after the data from the HR feeds to the LMS? if so, would deleting the group after the training has assigned affect the users who are in the learning plan from that group? will that assignment delete too?

Good morning,We would like to display the entire Catalog on the pre-sign in page. Currently we can only display 4 courses with the option to scroll through the rest of the catalog 4 at a time.We would like to see the whole catalog on display.Any ideas on how or if we can do this?Thanks Jamie

How do you all track your New Hire sessions (the ones that are mandatory). For instance we have a Learning Plan that includes things such as: New Hire Welcome and Orientation Education Overview Products and Service Overview (and so on, there are 10 - 15 different sessions)Currently they are in the system as ILT Sessions and we create new sessions in each class for each new hire. This process is taking a LOT of time from my staff and I don’t feel it is efficient. We have looked into the CSV uploads, but those just do not seem ideal either, it makes us add the CSV for the Session, then the Instructors (which takes several tries often to get them to accept, then we have to create the events and customize and go back to mark completion). We are a small company with less than 150 users, I know some of you have HUGE user numbers, how are you doing it!? I am certain you are not all doing this manually! What can we do diffe

To get our users to click on the arrow to reveal their join webinar button we decided to add a banner with instructions to do so. The problem is that the image doesn’t stay within the course description box or even stretch to the end of the box to line up with the arrow we’re pointing to when the browser window size is changed.I’ve been trying to find a code or setting to fix it but I can’t seem to find anything. Is there any way I can fix it?As always, I appreciate the assistance!

Hello! Been working on a project to make content more accessible to our learners, with an emphasis on those who may need additional support. While working in Docebo, I’ve reached out to the Help Desk to find out that while subtitles can be added, there is no way to turn them off yet. Looking for any suggestions from anyone on other ways written text can be provided or even downloaded by learners from the LMS. I tried to attach downloadable transcripts by uploading a file as training material, but the process to download from a learner’s pov was rather awkward. 

Hello Community. So I have to renew my SSL certificate for my custom domain for the first time. I am not very technical so this process is not entirely clear to me so I came to the experts for help. Do I understand the steps correctly:Download the cert files for the renewed certificate Under Advanced Settings, under HTTPS, click to Remove Certificate I then reupload the new cert filesI am assuming the system will be down the minute I remove the certificate. As such I plan to do it off peak hours. Does anyone have a more formal procedure for this type of system maintenance?Thanks!  

HI All,  We have just launched our Docebo platform and as part of our reporting procedures we would like to know the date a user first accessed the system. We can find last access but that doesn’t tell us how many individual people have logged on to the system for the first time since we launched.If anybody knows the answer, please put us out of our misery.Thank youPhilippa & Lorraine

I’m looking to generate a report that could provide completion statistics on each module within our courses. For example, Bob has completed Modules A, B, and C in Course 1, but he has not completed Modules D-H. Bob has also completed all of Course 2. Is there a way to pull a report like this that could be exported (preferably into excel or a CSV)?I’ve found how to report on completion at the course level, but have not been able to find a way to pull a more granular report without going into each user’s record for that course and estimating based on percentage complete, which would be a manual and time consuming process for the number of users we have.  

We have a strong need to have managers/ or power users self enroll a user/learner from the MY Team page into a specific session of a ILT course. We know the user/learner can self enroll into a session but can we get a manager/power user to do this? In power user permissions, in the drop lists, it distinctly says sessions not just courses. Maybe it’s the language that confuses me? Since is says ILT Sessions. Thank you in advance for any information on this.
