Solved

I’ve been down this road before but never while the Community has been active, so looking for creative suggestions for an issue we run into when an employee needs to redo training. We have a Learning Plan for some IRA content our staff are required to complete prior to an ILT session.  The plan includes 5 eLearning sessions.  The case we have now is that an employee completed all the eLearning sessions and went through the ILT training. However, they aren’t retaining the information and need to be put back through it. The staff will be required to redo all eLearning/LP prior to getting reenrolled into the ILT Session.Without deleting the tracking of the original completions, how do you all handle this situation. I know I can create a new Learning Plan, but the courses are still the same so it will recognize their completion.  Which means I will have to create new eLearning Courses, rename/restructure just to allow the system to track, is there an easier way?

We want to add a weekly enablement session to Docebo so managers can track who attends these sessions. Is it possible to set up a single event within a session to be recurring?  We are integrated with Zoom, and I know that I can edit the Zoom meeting to be recurring; however, I don’t think that Docebo would respect that.  In this case, would we have to create individual events for each week? Thank you.

Hi everyone,I need some insight and clarification on Tests and the Question Bank. Background info: I have 30+ ILT courses. All courses have some sort of test. The test questions all get saved in the Question Bank. I’ve instructed my team that if they need to change the questions on their tests, they should unlink the one from their test, add a new one, make sure it is categorized correctly, and push it to the question bank. The reasoning logic behind un-linking a question and leaving it in the Question Bank was because I thought that it would retain the answers from previously answered tests. This would basically give us an archive of our previous tests and learner’s test records. (rephrase; I thought the version of the test the learner took would record to their training record to refer back to how they performed on the test)Example: We have a class on “how to process a loan”. Charlie took the class in February. Our process changed in April and we changed the test to reflect the new pro

After our inspectors complete their Initial Certification Learning Plan we will be assessing them in a VR environment on their inspection process and accuracy.  This VR assessment will identify where they may need remediation.  If we assign them a specific remediation course that uses the same material that was in the Learning Plan (from the Central Repository), it will be marked already complete.  The only way I know to avoid this is to upload a second copy of the material designated for remediation.  But now I have REDUNDANT material which could lead to outdated material. How do you keep track of redundant material to ensure that if a change is made to the training it gets updated in ALL locations? Is there a trick that I am missing? To avoid the redundancy, I could use the same resource, but add a SURVEY to the remediation course.  Surveys can be tracked LOCAL.  But the training resource will still show as “complete” in the course, only the survey would need to be completed.Does anyone

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone has had to add a suffix to a user. I intend adding it to the end of the surname but thought I would ask for viewsThanks

In our courses we want to include links to .pdf files for downloading; however, we are concerned about users sharing the files once they are downloaded.  Does anyone have a solution for tracking/securing files after they are downloaded from Docebo? We are aware of the slide converter option; however, these documents will be used for open book exams, so they have to be available for printing.Currently, we are adding a copyright watermark, and potentially adding a bates number, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you.

Has anyone managed to create a countdown page without the use of Javascript?

Hello all, unsure if anyone at all tried this, but what were are try to do is to display specific page from Workday to an iframe widget in our Docebo instance. Normally using the iframe widget works but this particular page just won’t load. We’ve already tried enabling iframe support within Workday - still nothing. It’s as if it’s stuck on a loop and just gives up after a while (see below)  Does anyone else encounter a similar issue? Thanks in advance!Keith

In the latest monthly release notes it says“HEADS UP! Course enrollment button visibility update for Power UsersFor those using the Power Users app, please note that starting on August 19, 2021, in order for Power Users to be able to see the Enrollment button for courses,  the profile they are assigned must have both Enrollment and View permissions enabled for courses.”Does anyone know which permissions need to change?  I’ve looked and the options there are not the same as the text above!

Hi All, I am wondering how do you utilise Docebo for an on-boarding/induction training. I want to make a part of the on-boarding training digital and create some e-learning course but also want to mix it with ITLs.  Generally the idea is to assign to each new employee a set of courses which that person has to go through: a couple of eLearning courses and ILTs sessions, in the specific order (so prerequisites will have to be set). I am wondering if there is any way to an ITL sessions once and just use them each time when the on-boarding training will have to be run? So I don’t have to waste time to create the same ITL each time? Do you have any experience with it? if so how did you handle it?

We utilize a public catalog. The public catalog has an easy language toggle at the top for users to quickly switch from English to Spanish. Is there a way to have this toggle inside the platform? If so, I must have turned it off at some point and now I can’t figure out how to turn it back on. I know users can change this within their profile but I wanted this option as well if it is available.Thank you!

Is there a widget to upload a video to for a page instead of using the embed video option?

Is there a bulk way to select a group of users and a course (or group of courses) and reset the progress? I know it is possible to bulk change the status (In Progress, Not Yet Started, etc.), but I am hoping to bulk reset a course completely for only a group of users. I know this can be done manually by going through a reset on each module for each user, but that is not feasible for the amount I have to process. Thanks for any guidance!

Does anyone have html code/css that would control the left or right margin for text on a widget on a custom page allowing you to have an image to the left or right of a box as shown in my mock up below?I don’t have extensive html/css skills but can cut and paste code into an HTML widget and I do know how to add custom styles to the configure branding and look area.

When we are creating new sessions/events the event creates without allowing you to type in how early you would like the “join” button to display.  When you go back into the system and update it, the system things you are changing the meeting so it deletes the Zoom Meeting and creates and updated on. This triggers emails telling us our sessions are deleted (which it is set to a shared address). Has anyone found a solution to this? Some of the users getting the emails are not thrilled about it (rightly so), but I have learned to just ignore them. If someone actually ever deleted something I needed, I would honestly probably not even notice! YIKES!

I would like to set the default to the Self Unenrollment option in eLearning (Advanced Properties) to “Allow self-unenrollment from this course” instead of the option that adds “after learner has completed” for eLearning sessions? Has anyone figured out how to do this? Additionally, for ILT I’d like to set the default to “Change Session” same question, is this possible?

Hi!We are looking for the best way to set up our own community. We are looking in to the option of using the channel option within docebo to do this? Now I see this community and I'm inspired! But to my surprise this is not the Docebo environment?. Why did Docebo choose not to use its own platform to create this community? What are the pro's con’s of using channels within Docebo for a community? Should we also reconsider building our own community within our learning platform of Docebo?Any tips and advice is welcome!HesterLearning ConnectedAmsterdam

Hello! I’m wondering if anyone knows if we’re able to upload CCs for the ILT/Webinar courses and how to do that. I’m only seeing the option to add or remove the recording. Thanks!

Morning!Does anyone know if there’s a way to change the wording of the pop-up notification that users receive when they register? Example below:I know you can go to Localization Tools and find a list of default notifications, but I need to know where I can change these settings so that our users receive the notification we want them to.At the moment they are receiving the default one that asks them to click on a link to confirm registration, but we’re not using this method to load users onto our platform. We’ve gone down the moderated self-registration route whereby the superadmin approves.Any help most welcome.Thanks...Rich

Hi there,If you use the Discover Coach and Share component of Docebo and have a customer community (like this one), I would love to hear how you integrate them.  We are launching Docebo at the same time as we’re launching a customer community (through Insided like this one---so it’s very much a meta question) and there is fear that there will be confusion and cannibalization.  Cim

Greetings all!I am planning to create a question bank for 2 exams I’m creating. Some questions will be included on both exams, others will not. I’m wondering if anyone else has done something like this before? I’m wondering if I can randomize the question order once they are pushed to the exam.)Insight appreciated!Bekah

Our Docebo site is currently available to only registered users. However, we are opening up our site to sell courses to customers, and we have multiple public catalogs displayed on the signin page.  We do not want these catalogs to be accessible to our internal (employee) users. Is there a way to limit accessibility to these public catalogs on the signin page?Thank you,Cheryl

Is it possible to change the sort order of how courses are displayed when setting up the course widget when configuring a page? The only choices available are alphabetical order or date. We want completed coursed to appear at the bottom of the sort order.

So Im trying to make my notifications more versatile in that I want specific group to receive notifications but not all Superadmins, Power users, managers etc… Am I doing something wrong? An example would be I need Marketing to see when a new course has been updated or added, but I only want their manager to get that notification but not all the managers need said notification (All managers are power users). Halp?your friendly neighborhood Generic Name

Hey all! I have to admit I am excited about Skill Management, but feel like it was turned on “for us” without me having much time to prepare! I got in to start setting up our platform, but found that I already have users assigned to a few of our skills. I’m struggling to figure out how I can identify which staff members have signed up for the skills? Has anyone figured this out yet? I searched in Knowledge Base but can’t find anything about reporting. Thanks for any help you can provide!
