Hi all! We are using extended enterprise. We are careful to use relative links on our pages, so links always go to the correct domain; however, on occasion, we miss one. The result is that the user on a sub-domain gets brought down to the root domain. What are the risks associated with this? Here’s the list I have so far:Users see incorrect branding or custom css. Users seeing/sharing incorrect URLs with peers would take them to the wrong login screen.Is there anything else I need to think of?

Hi all,I have seen a few posts relating to this without too much definitive, so am guessing it is an ongoing issue for many others, but we are currently in the onboarding process with Docebo and have discovered much to our surprise that the functionality of manager approval for a employee who reports into them, for booking onto a session doesn’t exist in the system.What current work arounds etc. do people use to counteract this? As for any training course that takes someone out of “billable hours” we would expect their manager to approve this. If anyone has any working examples of how they currently achieve this with the limitations of the system, please can they let me know.I had seen @lrnlab ‘s original workaround and thought it was great, but then saw further down the post chain that it was no longer as feasible a solution due to an approval screen being got rid of.Thanks!

I do not understand why I am not able to change this unless I’m creating a brand new group from scratch. I need to update an existing group and unable to modify this. How can I do that? Why isn’t this available, Docebo? 

Hello, we have a use case where during holidays (upcoming Thanksgiving) or when an instructor is sick, they would like to upload a recording ahead of time for the upcoming ILT event(s). Is there a way to do this or a best practice for these kinds of use cases?

Hello.I am a brand new Docebo user and have a question about using the Feedback Management - notification message.I’ve inserted a .png file as a header to the top of the notification, but the image is cut off on the right and the rest appears distorted. Is it possible to fix this? If yes, how?Thanks much,Marion

Hi all, when we go to course management in an ILT session, it’s never in date order, we always have to filter it every single time using the heading.  Any way we can set this up as standard in our system or is there a setting somewhere I have missed?   

Perhaps I'm missing something but can you move courses from one category to another in bulk (rather than individually?)

Hi, I am uploading certificates to a completed course under Training Material and attaching the cert as a file, however, I don’t appear to be able to view the certificate once it has been uploaded, how can I view the certificate when uploaded or is there an easier way to attach all completed certificates to the course? Thank you

watI’m trying to figure out if there is any use case whatsoever for the configuration above. It sure looks like the selected Course Enrollment Policy directly contradicts the selected option for Course Self-Enrollment. Is there some nuance to this that I’m missing? If not, why am I even allowed to configure it this way, keeping in mind that I can’t even see the Course Enrollment Policy if I choose “Self-enrollments are not available”:The options are at least *somewhat* dynamic.Somebody please help, I’m genuinely confused about this.

I have some news for those of you who are using Udemy and Docebo. Previously I used to use Tray.io; we moved our connection from tray.io to Docebo connect. I couldn’t be any happier. Daniele and Stefania from Docebo have done a fantastic job. If you want to have a tour give me a shout. 

We’ve an issue with our previously-built quizzes.  They’re designed to be pass/fail, with one attempt only.  We’re using Articulate Storyline for our quizzes.  Within Storyline, the activity is set to pass/fail. Feedback from the activity shows “You did not pass the exam” within the quiz.The LMS then shows that the lesson was failed, but there is a “back to lesson” option.If we ignore this button and close the activity, it shows up as an “In Progress" activity. From there, the designer is prompted to resume:  This takes you back to the You Have Failed screen above. It still says "back to lesson," and that link is active. And takes you to Resume.If he chooses “no,” it appears to erase all his answers, so apparently, hecan start the test all over again.Hoping that someone might have ideas or suggestions; as it stands, if it’s confusing and ambigious for us, it likely will be for our learners as well!  8^)

Hello, I put together a Learning Plan with two courses and noticed that the two courses in the Learning plan are displayed under “my courses.” How can i not have the two courses house in the learning plan also displayed? 

Greetings ~ I am very new to Docebo and have a question about course categories. I have set up categories to closely align with my catalog titles and I turned on ‘use categories tree’ in catalogs to that users can filter using the categories. I have some courses that are assigned to 2 catalogs but since I can only assign them to 1 category, the category tree filter is not truly reflective of the content. How are others handling this? I tried duplicating the course so that one course was in one category and the other in the 2nd category but now the training history shows 2 records for the course - which is not great and muddys up the user’s completed section with 2 entries. Thank you in advance for sharing your ideas.   

We have been asked to add two approvers to an observation checklist that is attached as training material to an elearning course. Doesn’t look like this is possible. Are there any workarounds to achieve this? 

A creative way to offer instant discounts on your courses via the Content Partners app.We needed a way to apply a universal discount to groups of branches without using coupons. I came across the Content Partners app and found that you can create a discount “profile” that allows those authorized branches to see discounted prices all the while keeping the regular price visible to users who are not part of those branches. It’s like a workaround to provide different prices on courses without actually creating copies of the same course.You can create several different content partners that offer different discounts as needed. Each content partner entry can be specific to particular set of courses as well as a specific set of branches. Once set up, users who are aligned under the affiliates tab instantly see a discounted price and there is no need to issue or manage coupons. You can also add an image, logo or icon that can be displayed (or not) when the user checks out.

We are trying to create a url that a user can select to view a course. The user should not need to be enrolled in the course in order to view the course. We are currently using the Docebo deeplink from the course to create the url,example url - 'https://xxxx.docebosaas.com/learn/course/568/Week Two - Rep Onboarding?hash=abc12345'. This works for Superadmins regardless of whether or not they are enrolled in the course. For non Superadmins, you need to be enrolled in the course in order for the link to work. Non Superadmins receive a 403 error when selecting the link. We have noticed that if you generate a sharable link from Docebo a non Superadmin can successfully view the course.A Docebo sharable link has this format 'https://xxxx.docebosaas.com/learn/course/568/Week Two - Rep Onboarding?generated_by=12345&hash=xyz98765'. Hello,We’re utilizing Observation Checklists within courses as a self-assessment and coaching tool. The goal is to have users rate themselves then their managers provide feedback and training opportunities where applicable. The Checklist goes back and forth a few times so the course isn’t ‘complete’ until all checklists within the course are done.The issue I’m having is with notifications. Currently they are linked to the Checklists (as opposed to the course) because the manager and user need to know when responses from either side have been submitted. Because of this, a manager can receive a dozen notifications; especially when a new employee is going through the Checklists for the first time. The feedback we’ve gotten is that this is too many notifications. There doesn’t seem to be a digest option for Observation Checklists, so I’m not quite sure how to remedy the situation.Is anyone else using Observation Checklists in a similar way? We are looking to assign pre-work to new hires prior to their start date and were wondering best practices for this process. We currently use Workday and are using a single sign on and are running into issues assigning a field as they change from pre-hire to regular hire. Wondering if anyone has done this before while onboarding? 

An observation,As I turn left and right? My authoring environments are popping up with how to work better with AI and even how to prompt ChatGPT to build video transcripts.Is it time for a summit of sorts? I feel if we are ignoring what is going on? We are going to be left behind. And I will be the first to admit that I held back with the chatbot in Docebo as an experience. Look - None of these things are going to be perfect or do the instructional design well enough to replace the human touch/review for years to come. But if they are seen as a kickstart for your course development? And it can ease the curation and assessment portions of our projects???? Are we being foolish not adopting by now?Any interest? If you are? Drop a note.Now if we could get ChatGPT to offer a bipartisan solution to our US national debt issues - we could maybe all be in a place of boom and rejoice…lol…baby steps….

Has anyone else had problems with report retrieval latency? We’ve been trying all morning to pull reports, and they won’t process. The background job icon doesn’t even appear when you export a report. It’s like it’s not registering the export request.

Hi everyone, I was thinking of using observation checklists for interviews and to track interview answers that then go through an approval process. I have some eLearning that needs to be passed/completed first before the users are interviewed so I have created a course with an observation checklist as a second piece of training material after the eLearning. It doesn’t look like you can report on the answers though so I am not sure that is the best approach. Does anyone have any ideas/experience on how we can link eLearning to interview questions and track the answers on the LMS as a training material? Is that even possible? :)

I’m not going to submit this as an idea just yet, because I’m looking for other, better-informed opinions as to whether or not this is incredibly dangerous to even contemplate. 😅But here goes: Occasionally we get reports of users who started a SCORM course and made some progress, but did not finish the course before leaving to come back. When they do, though, for one reason or another, their progress has not been saved.(Yes, I know there are some best practices to mitigate this and minimise the odds of it happening, but there are other, more sensible, less wacky threads about that. Humour me, please!)I can manually set a user’s course completion to “Complete”, but as far as I know it’s not possible for me to manually overwrite e.g. their cmi.core.lesson_location for a given SCORM package. Since quite some time is Docebo working on a new reporting area and since roughly 2 years Docebo has 2 menu entries for reporting (“Reports” and “New reports”).Unfortunately, our customers regularly run into time outs within the “Reports” section, because the reports are quite big.@all: do you also experience time outs in the “Reports” section?@Docebo: when will Docebo deactivate the “Reports” menu item? Because our customers are confused and as they also have time outs, they have a negative experience.@all: does anybody know how to disable the menu item through CSS (keeping in mind that the menu is created dynamically, based on the right you have as a power user)?
