Good mornng community! Just coming off of a Taleo Learn instance that I helped to run for 8 years. Looking to “relate” and find others that are working through either a migration or did some similar work. I believe we will be like minded in a bunch of places.I am very excited to join the new community...and looking forward to contributing.In context, I went from leading a team of 7 direct reports and 3 indirect reports that worked with that older instance and decided it made sense for a change for myself and to look at my “new tomorrow” back in January. We have been evaluating products and came to the conclusion that Docebo is the best fit. Now we are just beginning our implementation.I did contribute a ton in another forum - I found it to be a great way to learn from others that are leveraging the system...and I found it fun to try and stay up on badges and the leaderboards.Some top questions off hand:Observation Checkli

In our courses we want to include links to .pdf files for downloading; however, we are concerned about users sharing the files once they are downloaded.  Does anyone have a solution for tracking/securing files after they are downloaded from Docebo?We are aware of the slide converter option; however, these documents will be used for open book exams, so they have to be available for printing.Currently, we are adding a copyright watermark, and potentially adding a bates number, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hi everyone!I’m seeking some ideas regarding our home page widgets.We’re reconfiguring our home page and are featuring the Q&A widget and the Recent Activity widget at the top in order to drive casual engagement and knowledge sharing. We don’t have a lot of formal courses, but many employees share resources and we want to encourage more people to share content and ask questions. However, the questions that appear in the Q&A widget also appear in the Recent Activity widget that’s right beside it, so it it’s redundant. I’d love for the “Recent Activity” to omit the Q&As and only show assets that have been shared, but I don’t think that’s possible. If anyone has ideas for creative workarounds so that we don’t see the same questions in two side-by-side widgets, I would love to hear! Maybe instead of the Recent Activity widget, there’s another way to feature content that others have shared? Maybe there’s a whole other way to drive casual u

We have an initiative to increase our External Training Tracking. We know extra training is occuring outside of our platform, but we don’t feel we are getting a good response rate for our staff submitting it. Currently I am sending a monthly reminder email, and mentioning it when in face-to-face trainings, but does anyone else have any creative ideas on how to increase the submission rate on this type of training?

Has anyone managed to create a countdown page without the use of Javascript?

Hello Community! Hope you are ready for the weekend!Last work-related thought before leaving the laptop on the desk, I promise … how has been you experience with launching the platform to first time e-learning users? We might be talking about not extremely tech-savvy audiences or, more simply, learners using an LMS for the first time. I think custom pages can be very helpful in these situations and I really love the clean and effective result you can obtain with just a couple of widget types, like in the following example: 

Hello all, unsure if anyone at all tried this, but what were are try to do is to display specific page from Workday to an iframe widget in our Docebo instance. Normally using the iframe widget works but this particular page just won’t load. We’ve already tried enabling iframe support within Workday - still nothing. It’s as if it’s stuck on a loop and just gives up after a while (see below)  Does anyone else encounter a similar issue? Thanks in advance!Keith

We currently use the Go.Learn Mobile App (which is not a branded mobile app) and did not know that the Biometric Login is only for customers who have a branded mobile app. I feel that this feature should also be included in the Go.Learn Mobile app as well.I did put this in the Ideas - LMS-I-445 - if you want to vote on it.Let me know what others think about this. 

In the latest monthly release notes it says“HEADS UP! Course enrollment button visibility update for Power UsersFor those using the Power Users app, please note that starting on August 19, 2021, in order for Power Users to be able to see the Enrollment button for courses,  the profile they are assigned must have both Enrollment and View permissions enabled for courses.”Does anyone know which permissions need to change?  I’ve looked and the options there are not the same as the text above!

If you are using content that is not supported by Docebo like, Udemy etc. I suggest you to contact Tray.io.  Tray is a small and powerful platform that import, export data and licenses between platforms that don’t have connection within Docebo. 

Hi All, I am wondering how do you utilise Docebo for an on-boarding/induction training. I want to make a part of the on-boarding training digital and create some e-learning course but also want to mix it with ITLs.  Generally the idea is to assign to each new employee a set of courses which that person has to go through: a couple of eLearning courses and ILTs sessions, in the specific order (so prerequisites will have to be set). I am wondering if there is any way to an ITL sessions once and just use them each time when the on-boarding training will have to be run? So I don’t have to waste time to create the same ITL each time? Do you have any experience with it? if so how did you handle it?

Does anyone here have an Influitive-based community? If so, how do you get Influitive and Docebo to “talk” to each other?

We have found that when you have a large number of automatic groups, it can be quite challenging to manage them, especially when troubleshooting issues. We also manage these on behalf of many power users since they cannot do this themselves therefore it is critical that we know what attributes are being used by each group. Rather than managing an external spreadsheet, we use the Group Description field to log the rules...it looks something like this: Org Level 1 = MO - Middle Office + Company Code = ACME This has proved invaluable to us.

I’m curious to hear where the community aligns the ongoing administration of Docebo in their organization. For example, does the admin role live under HR, IT, Org Development, etc? Or where does your organization put the administration of the platform at? Just curious about this! Thanks!Hannah

We utilize a public catalog. The public catalog has an easy language toggle at the top for users to quickly switch from English to Spanish.Is there a way to have this toggle inside the platform? If so, I must have turned it off at some point and now I can’t figure out how to turn it back on. I know users can change this within their profile but I wanted this option as well if it is available.Thank you!

Does anyone have a privacy statement that they are willing to share?  I realize that its always good to run these past the “legal beagles,” but it would accelerate our platform development.  Cheers!  

Today, custom reports all need to be created from a ‘starter template” which in some cases is not exactly what you need. I have been creative with reports and have added additional fields to carry information that is not included in some reports however this is not the bets solution as we have a limited amount of additional fields available. Although reports have a good amount of configurability, the templates limit you to only what that specific report is meant to show/export. What are your thoughts on seeing a reporting engine that would allow you to freely include data from different areas into a single report?One immediate improvement i would like to see if the ability so include TEXT fields in the reports, not just the dropdowns. Another idea would be to provide similar filters as we see on the user management screen; those work really well.Would be interested to hear from other members. Thank you

I am huge fan of this product. If you are looking for a AI programme to help make your marketing and learning more successful, than this is the programme for you. It has helped me write content and emails quickly with little effort on my part, so I've been able to use it when I'm really pressed for time or don't have the necessary creative writing skills (which we all know can be a life saver sometimes). Is there a widget to upload a video to for a page instead of using the embed video option? 

Is there a bulk way to select a group of users and a course (or group of courses) and reset the progress? I know it is possible to bulk change the status (In Progress, Not Yet Started, etc.), but I am hoping to bulk reset a course completely for only a group of users. I know this can be done manually by going through a reset on each module for each user, but that is not feasible for the amount I have to process.Thanks for any guidance!

Has anyone developed any psychometric in the platform? I use Lumina Spark all the time but is getting very expensive. It would be nice to have something within the platform.

Ever have a vector image that you’d like to tweak slightly -- like change a background color or move/delete some element from the image? You can certainly do that with Adobe Photoshop or other hefty image editor but here’s some info on how to do it if you’re like me -- a small shop with no design expertise or expensive software on hand. Once I find a vector image I like from one of my stock image libraries and if it is not already available as an SVG file, I download it as an EPS file. Now you can’t insert an EPS image into PowerPoint but you can insert an SVG file. So first, convert the EPS to SVG using www.cloudconvert.com. This is a nifty little site that allows you to convert all kinds of file types. It’s super easy and FREE! Once you convert your EPS to an SVG, you can insert it just as any image in PowerPoint but because it’s an SVG, you can ungroup all the elements of the image and
