One topic that has been hotly debated in training circles is the idea of forced navigation.The idea is that you force the learner to engage with specific content before you allow them to move forward. Content is often locked until prior criteria has been met. I might refer to this as a linear.The flip side is to make all the content available and allow the learner to choose their own path through the material. Learners may even skip some content. I might refer to this as non-linear.Then, of course, are the hybrid options along the spectrum between these two.If your boss or client doesn’t mandate an approach - which way would you lean and why? Would you try to convince boss or client the other way?
For us, it is an amalgamation of user management and course creation. Both of these get wrapped into our ticketing workflow, which is why I am grouping them together. If I had to pick one, I would say course creation (including ILT and on-platform eLearning, not Storyline courses) takes the most time out of everything else. What about your team?!

Hi - I am wondering if anyone else has encountered the following:we did export to SCORM 2004 we uploaded a rise 360 course that we have been working on for months and it seems to be working….yay we uploaded a change to the rise course that I believe is not structural - just an attachment we chose to overwrite the training material even with test users - the newer training material with the newer attachments are not showing itself in my browsersIf you have encountered it or have any thoughts on what could be going on - I would appreciate any insight. I dont want to spend too much more time on this because it feels silly...but if you have any idea of what could be going on? It will help to talk me down from any concerns.
Hello,We are having a few issues with email notifications: Schedules are automatically changing to either 1 day or 1 week after the event; removing whatever was set previously When editing or creating a notification with a schedule, after sitting Save, the schedule changes to 7 days automatically, regardless of what we input as the correct number of days after the eventIt seems that this is mainly affecting emails that have schedules, like “Learner has yet to complete.” Anyone else facing these issues?
We are looking to hire an API contractor to help set up the integration between our HRIS system (HiBob) and Docebo. The integration is pretty straight forward, one directional and without too much jiggery pokery of the data required. Location is UK but we are a virtual company so doesn’t have to be. I have created a separate page for our facilitators that contain their teaching notes. It’s a catalog widget so that these courses (we call them modules) don’t clog up their homepage. Here’s my question: The first time a facilitator opens the course/module it pops right into the iFRAME content. However, from then on, every time they want to go back to this, they course/module completed message. Is there a way to turn this off? I want them to just hit the iFRAME Training Material every time without the extra mouse click.

Can someone please explain the difference between setting an enrollment deadline with a validity window vs. entering a Start and End date under Advanced Properties > Time Options?Ideally, I would like to assign users to an eLearning during a specific window for compliance purposes but also provide the option for them to access the course beyond the specified end date. I’ve noticed that if I enabled a validity window as part of setting up an enrollment deadline, my users get locked out of the course after the final day even if I have enabled the Soft Deadline option under Advanced Properties > Time Options.

Thanks! I’ve never done this in (or out of) a LMS. Seems straightforward to dual screen then share one screen on zoom. This would be a series with badges and leaderboards for attendance. Can I give a badge for each event attended in an ILT without having to modify the badges after initial setup (that is, just create more sessions and events)?

HI,I just wondered if anybody is utilizing any other mail system for emails for users for Docebo? We had a promotion that is sending out thousands of emails via the newsletter but it seems to me that I should not have to lock up my LMS time waiting for the email to be sent to that many users. ( you cant leave the screen until the emails have been sent and 1 email was 5k users and took over 45 minutes to send) It would also be nice to have a record of the emails that were sent out so we know that all these emails we are sending have actually been sent. If anybody has any other options you are using besides what is available in Docebo, I would be interested in what you are using.
