We are currently developping a gamification concept. One pillar will be assigning badges for completing courses and learning plans. (For ILT courses, this is not possible, so I created the idea 3138: Badges for ILT courses; feel free to vote for it!)I found some pretty helpful conversations about gamification and especially badges in this community, but maybe you can share your ideas with me for some specific scenarios. Our idea is to create badges for specific numbers of courses (or learning plans). Well, there was a good advice by Adam Ballhausen in “Ideas for launching Gamification” to reward new learners quickly. This said, we’d like to create badges for the 1st course, the 5th, the 10th, the 20th and so on. This leads me to 3 questions:Does the above scale sound reasonable? How many points should be assigned to badges staggered in such a way (I suppose that  the number of points should not be directly related to the number of completed courses)?

Any ideas on adding a message board to a page?   We are looking to have a running conversation if possible on a page.  Temporarily using an asset in a channel.  Any good ideas out there? 

We provide client training, and our clients often have one administrator that is granted a power user. This users has visibility to their client branch and their users to follow up. I have also given them visibility to all premium catalog, so they can see an overview of all courses, how many have enrolled, progress and ability to enroll their users into courses they see fit.  However I am struggling with the power users permissions. Issue: if I set priveliges to all courses within visible catalogesThey also see courses that is visible, but behind a payment plan and only administrator can enroll users into. However, the power users can easily enroll users intro these courses as they are visible to all in the system. A bit of a marketing thingy.  They also see courses that are under maintenance. Because they are not fully developed, or deprecated. This is also very unwanted behaviour.  The only way I can get where I want, is if I

Hi All!New-ish to Docebo, and this might be a very basic question.  However, we are getting feedback from employees with frustration in navigating in their learning plans.  Is it possible to set-up a learning plan so a user is automatically gets moved to the next course instead of having to get there by navigating via breadcrumbs?Below is the workflow are advising people to use now to get to the next course, but people seem to be having a hard time with that.  Any suggestions/tips would be recommended! 

I will be going back and redefining my PowerUser profiles, and I’m trying to identify how many I need and I’m confused with the cross over of Branches and Profiles when it comes to Notifications.When creating a new notification, I identify the specific Branch that notification applies to (our notifications are branded and specific):The next step is to identify the ROLE.DO I NEED TO CREATE A SPECIFIC POWERUSER PROFILE ASSIGNED TO THE BRANCH? Some of our users have 3 courses and some of our users have 150. Some of that is because our users have been here for 3 years, others just access that. many. courses.One thing I was hoping to do was better utilize the widgets, but I’m finding that they don’t meet the need. I opened a support ticket but wondering if others are seeing this issue.  The enroll users tab is disappearing from our power users.  I have 1 user I screenshot with the tab at 4:30 pm yesterday. At 9am today it was gone.  Noticed it missing from 1 person a few days ago. now no power users have enrollments 

Currently, managers can enroll users into an ILT, but they cannot enroll the user into a specific session for that ILT. This is problematic for us because our new hires’ first ILT is on their first day of employment. They have no way of logging into the platform to enroll themselves into the ILT session for their first day of training. Has anyone experienced this and have a workaround?

Hello! We are utilizing the retraining piece for compliance items that need to be taken every x amount of years/months/etc.  We have notifications set up to go to learners when they are coming due on a retraining, however not all our learners have email or use a computer unless someone tells them they need to complete something.  Is there a way to have retraining's more visible to learners besides going out to the My Activities page?  Can they be brought back over to the Not Started area of the task list?  Is there a way for a notification to go to the leader of the learner? Is there a way to add a group to a manager? I’m currently manually adding employees to a direct manager in the sandbox but this isn’t feasible for our growing teams.

Hi all,I’d like to pick your brains over sensitive data exposure & Docebo course access.We have two groups of people accessing our LMS, one are internal, the others contractors. There are courses that we do not want contractors to view. Thus I have set up catalogs so that they can only search or browse to those courses that we allow access to. We do not use the public catalog at all.The problem is, if someone (be it internal team leader or power user) enrols them on a course, they can see it, even if it isn’t in the catalogs they can access.How can we restrict content?Wihlst at the moment this isn’t major, as contractors are covered explicitly by contracts, this question will become critical when we open the platform to a further third group of partners who are not covered by contracts.

Hi Community!We just received feedback from our soft launch testing group and their number 1 issue was around creating playlists. Everyone in the testing group expected to find a “Create Playlist” button, rather than selecting an asset first and building a playlist from there.Has anyone received similar feedback? Have your users got used to this way of creating playlists? I don’t think there is anything I can do to change how this functionality works?Thanks!Hannah

Just wondering if it’s possible to have users receive certificates for training materials instead of courses as whole?

Hi team, I’m trying to use an embedded link to go to an interactive infographic (we are using Visme). However, the code doesnt seem to be working with the HTML widget. I’ve asked Docebo support and they didn’t really have a good answer. Has anyone else tried to do this and have a solution? I can provide more details too. Thanks, D’Arcy 

I have created a new widget and inside that widget I created a page with two new widgets that will lead to a page with different catalogues of courses. My problem is with the page with two widgets: When users click the widget and it goes to the page with the two widgets, it states error 403. I assume it's an access problem, but how do I give access to a page? All the users are in the correct branches.  

I want to get only the fields “id” and “last_update” from this endpoint: /course/v1/courses (full link: https://<our_domain>.docebosaas.com/api-browser/#!/course/Courses/Courses_course_v1_courses),  and specific fields from this endpoint: /course/v1/courses/{id} I searched in the documentation of these endpoints but didn’t find how to do it.

Morning all,I am having a complete mind blank today and need reminding of something…I have 2 courses that new starters need to complete, but the second one only has to be completed by lawyers, not all new starters.  I have added the first course to the enrolment rule that automatically allocates the mandatory courses to all new starters - that is fine.  I want to have the second course automatically allocate to lawyers only once they have completed the first course, but can’t for the life of me remember how to do it!HELP!

Hi, Is there a report that includes the time zone for the sessions?  I have sessions in 3 time zones and need to report on each individually.  I’ve looked and can’t seem to find this field in the old or new reports.TIA

For some of our courses we have an assignment that needs to be evaluated before the learner can complete the course. We just want the assignment to be a pass or not though and not have to determine a score out of 100 each time. Is there a way to remove the score part using CSS script or something? Has anyone done this before or found another work around?

Hello all! I am new to Docebo and am looking to put together a site similar to the design attached.  I’m looking to have the five main categories at the top.  When you click on a category like ‘Technology’ for example, it would then take you to a page where you would be able to select from ‘Technology’ topics, and then clicking on a topic would take you to a page with the actual courses.  So the route a user could take would be Course Page→ Technology Page → Technology Topic Page → Technology Course. Based off the screen shot of my mockup, would this be do-able and if so what would be the best route?  I was playing around with the Categories widget, but it would just show the courses within that Category.  Is there a widget that would display the five categories in a row like I have here, or would that be best handled with custom html and css? Thanks for any advice! Kevin

We had about 30 students trying to register on our WordPress website, which has the Docebo plugin installed to synchronise users to Docebo. We crashed our site by hitting the API rate limit. I realise a registration event probably uses more than 1 API call, but can it really use 30+ API calls to register a single user?There’s, what… a call to check credentials, a call to check if the user exists, a call to add the user, a call to put them into a particular branch… What am I missing here?
