This is possibly a really daft question which I’m hoping someone knows the answer to. I’m looking to add up the time spent in some of the courses last month. When I export the report the times show up like this ‘0h 20m’ or ‘2s’ they are stored as text in the excel file and as such I can’t add them up. I’ve tried a few Excel codes but because it doesn’t always show h:m:s they haven’t worked. Also I want this to be fast not having to find and remove all the s, m or h’s when I split the cells. Someone must be using something to find out how long users have been on courses. I can’t imagine I’m the only one. I might be making this a lot harder than it actually is. 

I am working with a counterpart who needs to change the expiration date of many users to the system.  Current he can go into each use and change the expiration date but wanted to know if there is a way to sort and do a mass change or do batch changes to this expiration for many users?

FYI, I have just opened a case with Docebo support about the following issue. Since at least two hours (3 pm CET) I’m observing that our user management script, which is using PUT /manage/v1/user/ API to update some user fields, is only receiving error 400 responses with the message:{  "name": "Bad Request",  "message": {    "field": "email",    "message": "You haven't filled in some mandatory fields"  },  "code": 1002,  "status": 400}However, users which we are willing to update already exist and have their email addresses set.There are no outages mentioned on the Docebo status page (we’re in the US data center), and the last time when the API did work, was at about 9:30 am CET today (we didn’t use it between 9:30 am and 3 pm).

I was wondering how everybody handles changes to courses that have already been published and completed by a certain number of learners. Our courses are composed of the following three elements:Videos Tests End of course surveySo far, we have avoided retroactively adding or updating videos because it can lead to a situation where learners have completed a course without actually viewing all the videos. However, I’m sure there are going to be times when we need to do this in the future. Does anyone have any good suggestions about how to make changes to a course while maintaining the integrity of the course? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Daniel

Is there a way to make the graphic on the site clickable to the homepage? I created a link to go to the ECI home page, but it would be much easier for users if they could just click on the eci Learning & Deveopment log. I cant figure out where that “lives” in order to edit it? 

In the extended enterprise, we have created a subfolder domain (ourplatform.docebosaas.com/subfolder) for our domain (ourplatform.docebosaas.com) and assigned a branch to the subfolder domain. Then I set up a notification for that branch. But when the user in that branch receives the notification it shows the domain ourplatform.docebosaas.com instead of ourplatform.docebosaas.com/subfolder in the site/course URL . Has anyone encountered this problem or has any idea how to fix this?

Hi everyone,I am now seeing an updated version of Course Management in my demo platform. The usual tabs that we see on top has been moved to the left side of the page, and some of the fields have been combined.May I know where do I find time options for e-Learning where we can set start date, end date, soft deadline and days of validity?Thanks a bunch!

Is there a way to reorder courses in a catalog?  I have a part 1, part 2, and part 3 of a series and want them grouped together (not in a learning plan) in my catalog. As you can see below they are out of order. How can I reorder them?  

Our users like to build a community with other learners in the same program as them. We had previously used Facebook groups to encourage the social aspect but are now looking to possibly utilize Discover, Coach, & Share as a social platform to help us centralize our users in Docebo. Is anyone else using DC&S this way? Is this even possible? 

Hi allThis may be a Teams/Microsoft issue but at this point we’re not sure…We have been using Zoom for our webinars but have finally got around to integrating Teams. We are using a shared resource account for the integration and the session launched and all was fine. I recorded the session in Teams but I now can’t find it. It’s not in my Streams or in the Streams of the account that was used for the meeting. Do recordings work fine for you when using Teams integration and if so where do you find the recordings?It’s OK - we tracked it down to my OneDrive instead of Streams.

Hi We have licensed the entire LinkedIn Learning Library (over 17,000) courses.    We are considering importing the entire library into Docebo.   I have some questions that I need help from other LiL users: We will see a performance issue if we add all of the titles to our course library? If we don’t want to load all of the titles – does anyone have a suggestion on how to identify the courses in the mass update feature - right now it looks like you can select 1 at a time or select all?   In the mass update feature I typed in one of the LiL subjects in our sandbox (Career Development) and it was not a match to the number of courses when in content market place I filtered on a LiL subject.  After my search I selected all,  imported it and much to my surprise it imported all 17,000 titles into sandbox.    To piggy back off of question 2 - If i can easily group courses to

HiWe run a continuing professional development program for accountants and laywers. Some users access the content by making ad-hoc purchases of vILTs and/or e-Learnings but the majority have subscription access which allows them to self-enrol without making payment.We run about 170 new topics each year and have approx 450 e-Learnings in the library and we’ve received several requests from customers for us to indicate what ‘level’ the content is pitched at so that users can determine whether it is suitable for them.In particular, where we have customers with power users they want to be able to identify content for their ‘junior’ accountants, managers etc so they know what they should recommend.We can add a course additional field for ‘Level’ and include ‘Foundation’, ‘Intermediate’ or ‘Advanced’ but as far as I understand these would be mutually exclusive categories. Some content is suitable for ‘Foundation’ AND ‘Intermediate’ and this approach wouldn’t al

Let’s say you have an email notification setup for a specific branch.Down the line you eventually move this branch/sub-branch - the associated email notification then changes to 0 assigned branches. I assume because since it is not in the location that it was created in, the notification module is unable to track the branch any longer.While that in itself is an issue, you would then assume that perhaps it disables itself once it no longer has a branch to target making the event or trigger incomplete. However, not only does it remain active but it will now target all branches. Even though the notification now says 0 branches, it instead will trigger that event for any user/power user that meets the other conditions of the event - regardless of branch location. Huge oversight, would like to see this patched or updated in some way with the new notifications module overhaul.

I just want to see all courses by Title, without having to enroll someone in each course. Is there a way you’ve found to do this? Even API doesn’t spit out all results. 

Hi Docebo,We get a lot of students stating they’re using Firefox when they’re actually using Safari. If a student continually lies about what browser they’re using its a real time suck getting to the truth of the matter via screenshots.I’m wondering if there is a way for docebo to determine what browser a student is using on the backend? If so I would like to suggest this feature be added to future releases. Thank you, Logan 

Whenever I try to add a fill-in-the-blank question after I type the question and answers, and hit save.  I get the following message.  I do not see any option to type the title in?  

We implemented Docebo for our Sales, Marketing and L&D last year. Now we are looking to implement for ISO/ GMP compliant training.Does anyone have an easy way to enable sign-off of SOPs (i.e., Read & Understand” training) using Docebo? I’m looking to track Part 11 compliant sign-off on individual SOPs, ideally without creating each one as a course. AICC wrappers? Other ideas?

Can I make the target of a notification both Users and Power Users?

Hello Docebo community friends! I am reaching out to this wonderful and supportive community because we are currently in the process of implementing our new learning platform with Docebo. We are still in the early stages of our implementation, so as you know there’s a tremendous amount of work ahead of us. We are not the first (or last) company to implement Docebo, so I though it would be beneficial to reach out to see if my community friends would be willing to help us in our journey. I would like to start by asking a few questions. How long ago did you implement Docebo? What do you know now that you wish you knew then? Would you be willing to share your UAT test scripts with us? What was the hardest thing to complete in your implementation? What type of feedback are receiving from your users? Would you be willing to connect via phone for a quick Q&A session? Lastly, any overall advice for us

Hi, I’m having trouble figuring out the docebo api. Is the only documentation at https://flashtalking.docebosaas.com/api-browse? How would I retrieve a course’s quiz learning object using the API?

Hi everyone. I have only been using Docebo for a few months now and we are trying to work around some nuances Docebo has such as making sure all our users are enabling cookies. Even with that we are having a hard time pinpointing why people are taking courses but then not showing complete. they will get to the end take a screenshot or picture and send it to us showing us its complete but then logging back into Docebo it still shows as in progress and usually only half way through the course. Any help or pointers on if our users are doing something wrong to cause this to happen?

We’ve recently turned off the “Display Category Tree” as it was showing Categories to Learners who shouldn’t see them (ie Customers were seeing our Sales Category)I’m creating pages now for Learners to navigate to our Categories. I’m able to find the Category ID with the Tree enabled: /learn/catalog/view/2?ctldoc-catalog-0=category_id-18I’d prefer to not have to toggle the Categories Tree on and off to get the Category ID. Is there a way to find the Category IDs via API?
