We have setup a number of custom email notifications, all in English (US). It recently came to my attention that some of our learners who have set their profile language to one other than English are receiving the notification emails but translated to their native language. I did some digging around and am seeing that some notifications automatically send a different email, provided by Docebo, based on their language. An example of this is the “User has been created (confirmed registration)” notification. If you create one of these notifications you’ll see that Docebo provides the email subject/body for all 36 languages, and there is no way to disable specific languages for this notification without disabling the languages completely via the Localization settings. But that also disables the UI translations, which we’d like to keep. 

Managing certificates of completion is difficult for us. We use a federated model with different power users associated to a specific branch.Not only is the management of the certificates difficult - codes are not displayed, you can't sort the columns, but also the certificates I have created have been accessed by others that I assumed wouldn't have been able to get to them.If I own a certificate (associated with a branch), no one should be able to change it.I should be able to sort columns on the main screen.I should be able to see the codes.We should be allowed to only modify our own certificates or those within our 'branch' or some other security settings...Thoughts?  I have an Idea submitted in the Idea Portal for this and need to get more votes if this seems logical to anyone else but us…  :-)Idea - LMS-I-4904… vote on it for me if you agree...please

Is there a way to pull a learning plan report that shows a list of courses within each learning plan?

I have noticed some new report fields in the “New reports”  statistics section% Of Course Consumed From The Launcher Time Of The Session Spent By The User From The LauncherI cannot find any details of what these are actually measuring and what is “the Launcher”? CheersGary 

So here’s a tidbit for anyone adding the Activities Stream widget to a custom page. While the documentation in the KB states: “This widget shows the user’s new enrollments into courses, and assets, Q&As and comments that have been published in the platform.”It actually does not include any comments made to assets or via the course comments or forum widgets. I filed it as an issue with Support but apparently it’s the documentation that’s wrong. We would love to have this widget show all activity including any comments on assets/courses. There’s a suggestion in the Ideas Portal LMS-I-3004 if anyone else would find this change helpful. 

Within our organisation Poweruser isn't powerful enough and SuperAdmin is almost too powerful for our day to day operational tasksI voted for the idea asking for and profile between poweruser and superadmin but keen to understand if others feel the same.Ideally we would like SuperAdmins set at branch level so that each branch could be “autonomous”Any thoughts ?

Hello! We recently purchased Docebo, but are having some issues integrating Docebo into Salesforce. Our use case is that we want both internal employees and external customer users to access Docebo embedded in Salesforce.  Internal users will access the platform via a tab in salesforce, and customer users will access the platform via our Salesforce lightning community.  We would prefer that both sets of users not be prompted for additional logins within Salesforce. The rub is that we require all internal business systems to use SSO via ADFS.  This is set up right now using the SAML app in Docebo.  When users access Docebo in the Salesforce tab, it initially provisions/recognizes them & loads their home page.  However, when navigating to any other area (ex. Courses), it is prompting them to log in each session. This is also an issue for our community customer users.  We do not want those users to have the ADFS SSO apply to t

We created an assignment for the purpose of having learners submit their assignment with a document but the assignment shows an option to record their screen or submit a video link (as shown below). We would like to remove that option but I can’t seem to find where that option can be removed.As always, everyone’s insight is appreciated!

Has anyone had issues with the Zoom Integration when scheduling past Nov. 7th?We just figured out that when we schedule a session though Zoom it works fine, unless the session is scheduled past the next scheduled Daylight Savings Time. I’ve spoke to support and they indicated it was on Zooms side, but Zoom is saying opposite. I am stuck in the middle with no solution. All our sessions (after Nov. 7th) are correct in Docebo, but in our Zoom Account everything shifts by one hour. I have a video I can share, but the Community file restrictions won’t upload here. Thanks for any help you can provide if you have run into this issue!

Is there any way to send announcements to certain groups without having to schedule a notification? For example, if office hours are unexpectedly cancelled or rescheduled with a group within Docebo we will need a way to reach out to that specific group with that information. Any advice on how this is handled is appreciated!

Hi all! We have a fairly small user base (~130 members), and I’m just starting to look into the My Team feature. I do like the team dashboard, but, does anyone know if there’s a way to build and run reports on just a team? Our team leaders would each have about 30 members, and it would be great we could build some automatic reports for them to review. When I create a new report, I don’t see any “team” option. We also have some users who belong to two departments and would report to two different supervisors. This seems to break my relationship. Here’s what I’m trying:Bob → HR supervisor → direct manager → direct manager → direct manager/“CEO John”Bob → UX supervisor → direct manager → direct manager → direct manager/“CEO John” What I really want, is for “CEO John” to be able to drill down through all the different teams of teams. But with my structure, he can go through the teams, but he can’t view the Supervisors

We are looking to develop a process in Docebo for employees to show their interest for a few selected external courses. The end goal is to push these requests - via PowerBi - to their managers - so they can support employee’s development journey by ensuring the are enrolled in their selected courses. In my organisation, each department manages their own development budget. I am looking for an example of an event template that will provide employees a means to show their interest in a desired course, without having to create an event for each one. Is there such a template to do this?  

Once a learner is in a Course in a Learning Plan the File Repository widget is not longer visible. Is it possible to link directly to content in the File Repository?If not, what are some best practices to get learners to the content in the File Repository?

Hey Community - Our instance of Docebo is an extended enterprise that exists on our parent company’s Docebo. We operate two completely different sites, however. Their’s is called “The Hub” and ours “Intelisys University” Right now, when users enroll in one of OUR certifications (learning plans), they are receiving the “New Course Enrollment” email but it’s branded with The Hub instead of Intelisys University. Is there a place that we can either make our courses only send confirmation emails with our branding, or if not, where can we turn these confirmation emails off completely 

When some of our learners move to a new office they have a new email/account identity and we have to merge their account to keep their past history.  I’ve noticed today that their additional fields and group membership (manual) are not being merged.  Is this something that others have noticed too or am I missing a step?Joanna

Has anyone devised a way to integrate or emulate a grade book within a course? My use case is a multi-week virtual class where there are various activities the learner needs to complete. The activities are a mix of videos, graded assignments, eLearning, discussion forums, and quizzes. Ideally, the combined number of points earned on each activity would determine the learner's grade. The total grade would determine if they passed or failed the course. So more of a school model than a corporate training model. The only method I've been able to identify is to use prerequisites in the training materials. But this is very restrictive and proscriptive, and doesn’t base completion on the overall points earned.

We offer a mix of elearning and ILT courses for our software products.We categorize these courses by software product, so our categories are like this:Application Category A Application Category B Application Subcategory Application Subcategory Application Category Cetc.Setting up categories this way finally helped our users browse/filter quickly to get what courses are available for a given software product.However, for our ILT sessions, where we train learners on how to use software, we deploy and assign to them a cloud-based virtual machine. These machines are deployed from a given server region and to ensure optimal performance we need to know where the enrollee is physically attending from. Hello,I've managed to get the Docebo Lightning Web Component mostly working in my Salesforce community, for for some users with some web browsers, we see the message 'Error - Cannot perform the login.'With me, it works with Chrome and Firefox but not Safari - see attached image below.The error is not intermittent - if it works on the browser, it works every time, and if it fails, it fails every time.Has anyone seen this? I expect it’s some problem with third-party cookie or some other security settings and will be investigating more deeply later.Thanks!Andrew 

Has anyone set up the ability for the user to login with their Google and/or LinkedIn credentials? I have some questions. I can clearly see the benefit to users. Are there any cons? What about when the user’s email in Docebo doesn’t correspond to their Google or LinkedIn account, and they try to log in, what happens? I am having issues trying to test this in my sandbox, so I don’t really know what the user experience is like. I tried setting this up for LinkedIn and am getting an error about the redirect url being invalid. When I asked Support for assistance, I was told I had to go through my CSM and professional services for any SSO setup (which I will do) but I thought one could set up the Google/LinkedIn without assistance or extra services from Docebo. Has anyone been able to set it up on their own? While I’d like users to be able to have this convenience, I definitely don’t want to pay extra for it. Is there anything else I should be aware

I found a little know app called Subscription Codes (similar to Enrolment links but more powerful). We were searching for a solution for a business requirement to have a password on exams that is unfortunately not a feature in Docebo.For some content, we have strict rules about who can see test questions and answers (or even can set up the content - those admins are required to sign a confidentiality agreement) in order to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the content. In addition, we needed way to prevent users from being able to  launch a course containing these exams as they are proctored.We came upon the Subscription Code app (had to ask Docebo to load it for us). This app allows you to completely hide your courses; no need to place the courses in any catalogues (to everyone except the super admins and the person who created the course) until it is ready to be consumed by the user. The app allows us to create unique, one-time use codes

Good Day,Is there a way to update/change an additional field? We have an additional field of employee status, but the employee status may change as the user progresses through trainings. Is there a way for us to utilize the additional fields this way? Or is there a known way or hack that anyone uses that will do the same thing? Thank you so much in advance!
