Hi All! We are going to begin testing of the Docebo Connect - Outlook Integration shortly. As we embark on adding this feature to our LMS, I’m wondering if anyone would be willing to share the following:  Best practices they’ve utilized adding this feature Has a test script they’ve utilized to test functionality prior to launch Can clarify if the examples shown in the Outlook Example folder are all needed for normal functionality. We are still in the Docebo queue to speak with a technical rep about the new functionality, so anything that can be provided, would be really helpful before we have our first discussion with the team. I’ve gotten a few good pieces of information so far from the knowledge articles and other community posts, but was hoping to see if there was anything else that the community had experience with Thank You! Jason

Is there a way to create an ILT course with the pre requisite online module completed first?  I have created the ILT course and added the SCORM file into the training materials but the option to set as a pre-req is missing.Have others done something similiar?

Hello, I have a VILT course that associates would like to take multiple times. I know that once you attend a session/event and are marked complete you are not able to see future session/events. Is there a setting that will let associates take the same VILT multiple times?  Thank you

In our old LMS we built a custom solution for a few clients showing the upcoming available classes on a calendar.  Can I somehow replicate this with automated enrollments and the calendar widget? I know that I could tell the power-user to enroll their whole company in every event. 

Hello!Does anyone know how to change the text on the Play button in a Learning Plan? We would like to change the text on the button that takes you to the courses in the Learning Plan from “Play” to “Enroll” but I am having some trouble. I can change it on the page itself by using the following: <div class="ui-button-outlined-content visible"><!---->Enroll<!----><!----></div> However, when I go to Configure Branding and Look, enter this into the CSS section under Custom Styles, and hit save, there is no change to the Learning Plans when I go back to them. This is very new to me so any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone,We use the Task List widget on our main dashboard, and we have it set so that is displays all upcoming ILT sessions for the user. The widget itself currently only displays sessions that the user has actually enrolled into. I was wondering if there was a way to have it display all sessions that the user has access to, enrolled or not? We were looking for a way to use this as a way to promote upcoming ILT sessions that the users have access to and drive enrolment. Is this something that can be done?

I was wondering if there was a way to only allow certain files type in the assignment file uploads.  For example, we want our users to upload a CSV file only.  It is confusing when they see the option to upload YouTube, record their screen, etc.  Any hints or recommendations would be appreciated.  

Hi everybody!I am implementing some texts within the courses (biographies, descriptions, etc.) but we cannot save them and subsequently be able to view them.For example, I set up the "teacher biography" item as an additional field for the courses. I enter the management menu of the individual course, insert a text in the description field and one in the additional "teacher biography" field, click on "save changes". When I later actually enter the course, start the training, I cannot see the fields mentioned above. I am probably missing some steps, could anyone help me understand how to proceed?Thanx a lot!

We are about to implement Gamification. I have spent hours creating and testing badges/options within our Sandbox.  I think I must have missed things in the Knowledge Base articles, starting with what to include in the TEXT box. Notice it is not called Description or Congratulations box, just TEXT.  I’ve tried to put some thought into what needs to be included in that magic box along with the management of badges.  Our first pilot will have potentially 50 badges, and that is just for the PILOT! Badge management could become very unruly, very quickly when we open it up to everyone!I want to share my notes and ask if I am overlooking anything.WHAT BEST PRACTICES WOULD YOU ADD?How do you determine the points?Have I overthought this?TitleThe title should be descriptive and differentiate the badge from others. Keep in mind your audience. Cute or silly titles may not translate

Hello, We saw this post in the community and are trying to replicate it because it is exactly what we are looking for. Basically we created an empty course with a forum but we would like to hide the course structure like they did. I followed their instructions and used the same CSS code but it is not working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can recreate this or have a CSS code to hide the course structure? 

I’m looking to create a custom certificate, and it appears the first step is to switch to the Advanced Version? Is it necessary to have that version to customize the certificates? I also have another question with it being, it seems they have a template you can use that has HTML to modify the course name, the user, etc. Can you upload an image for the background and the code inputs the information to show on the certificate? 

When the instructors are responsible for taking attendance or submitting rosters to admins to update attendance we need to have some monitoring in place. How do we identify “open” sessions, where attendance has not been taken? I’m looking at the Sessions - User Statistics report, where I am filtering on attendance status. Then I am looking up each course and session to find out what’s going on. Am I on the right path? Is there an easier way? This seems like it would be a common business practice with notifications (to instructors) and/or reports associated. The path I’m on seems labor intensive, perhaps because I am chasing a backlog. Also, I don’t think that Docebo has tracking for closing out sessions with attendance taken. Please correct me if I am wrong, sessions are just there past and future with dates associated with the events. No easy way to identify those that are finalized. 

Hi! I created a a custom report which shows the Username, Branch name and Linked product to our users. The Linked product is an additional field which we've created earlier on.For some reason the Product is empty for some users.This is a mandatory field so i'm a bit puzzled why it is not filled for all users?Are there known causes for this and what would be the best way to solve this? 

 Hello, our organization is a big fan of using catalogs and assigning views as needed. For many cases, we may leave a catalog open to all users - but share the link to those who need to access it. As it stands- the advanced settings for catalogs is set on ‘hide.’ Making it hide the internal catalog. We also have a custom built homepage, with a widget for catalogs. This widget only displays certain catalogs that are publicly availble. Today as I was setting up an unlisted but public catalog - I realized in my test account that users are able to click ‘course catalog’ - which redirects them to the full internal catalog. This encompasses the catalogs that we would like to be unlisted but public, and only visible by linking. I have tried to delete or edit the ‘course catalog’ built in page but it cannot be done. I would appreciate any insight into keeping users from having the option and or clicking ‘course catalog’ and being taken to the full catalog.

Is there a way to determine what localization tool field something is? Like, can it be found using the Inspect tool? It seems that would be easier than trying and failing to find what fields are connected to what.

Hello!  Our Users are pulled into a Learning Plan based on their Job Description.  When a Users Job Description changes (example: Users Job Description updated from “Operator” to “Lead”), the User automatically receives the new Learning Plan based on their new Job Description.  We were under the impression that new content to the “Operator” Learning Plan would not deploy to the User, only new content to the “Lead” Learning Plan, based on the Users Job Description.  This does not seem to be the case.  I don’t want to un-enroll these users from the original Learning Plan because we need to maintain training records for compliance requirements.Does anyone else deploy training based on Job Description and if so, how do you ensure they only receive future updates to the Learning Plan associated with their most recent Job Description?Thank you!Brianne

We have training videos in which we are showing our users how to perform certain actions in our software.  We tell them we would like them to follow along with us by mimicking what we are doing on their second screen.  Unfortunately, when they click on their second screen, the video which we have made stops.  I assume the video believes they have stopped watching, so it stops the video.  Is there any setting that we could use to keep the video playing while the user is working in their second screen?

Hi, friends….for my first post...we have a swipe card system (magnetic, not bar-coded) in our facilities that is used for access to the buildings and, based on requirements, access to various areas of the operation. I have swipe readers on my 2 training rooms, and access is limited to my team. The system records swipes, whether successful or not, and the swipes get saved in the system. I asked my Security Manager if I could get files for the times training is conducted in the rooms, and rather than having people sign paper forms to show attendance, we’re planning on having attendees swipe at the door, and using the file for loading into Docebo for recording attendance and giving credit. But the question I have is this: does anyone have/use a stand-alone and portable system that can be used in other facilities? I have training going on in locations where swipe readers are not used, but if I can get something that I can bring with me to remote locations and use it to r

Anyone else no longer receiving emails about Release Readiness events?  I can go on to the Community and see them to register from there but there’s no “Subscribe” option on the Events page like there is for the Product Updates page so that I get an email notification when they are posted.I double-checked that our main admins are listed within the Learn platform to receive product-related emails but we have not been getting those emails.  

I’ve been experimenting with version control and makign updates to existing courses in the Sandbox. Is there a delay in the changes taking effect, and if so, does anyone know how long it is? I’ve overwritten an xAPI module and it’s not showing the changes I’ve made either in the material preview or the course content when I log in as a user. The support team have said it’s a known issue with the preview funciton, but I’d expect the learners to see the new content immediately.Any help appreciated.

Thanks for explaining how to:send notification to all users when a course is one month out from renewal date.Essentially, users will be notified to enrol in a session that suits them from the one month mark prior to renewal date of an ILT course.  Failing that a non-negotiable session will be assigned to them.Cheers :)

Hi Everyone,I have searched the vast records of the community for information on events, sessions, and dates.  I’ve learned a lot from those posts, and thanks to everyone who has contributed.  I, however, couldn’t seem to locate information with regards to a specific issue that I’m seeing, and hoping you all can help me out.My scenario is this:  I have an ILT session that occurred on 05/28, that needs to be entered manually.  We don’t use a schedule of classes, as that doesn’t fit our business model.  Rather, when a course is needed, we have a SME deliver that information and provide us with a sign-in sheet.  From there, we create the session/event in the LMS, enroll the attendee, and then mark them as complete.  That all works as planned.The issue I have is with the enrollment date.  If I create a session/event today, today’s date is what shows up in the enrollment date section.  I can’t find a place to change that date.  What I’d like to see in the reports is

Hey all,We are building out Quizzes / Surveys / Observation Checklists using Articulate Storyline - however the questions do not appear in the Results. Has anyone found a solve for this?   

We have thousands of users with hundreds of power users and different profiles based on what their role is at our franchises across the country. These roles change often, and our data connector will pick those up and update an additional field through Docebo Connect. Once we have those additional fields updated, I would ideally like to automatically assign the respective power user profile they should receive based on certain criteria.Any ideas?
