Hello! I’m testing observational checklists in Docebo. In my test case, the checklist located in a course and is completed by the user’s manager. I can see the completed checklist on the manager’s account, but I can’t for the life of me find where to view it as a user. It’s not in the course nor is it on the My Checklist page. What am I missing?

We have some users that we want to limit their access to only certain courses. For example, John’s account should only ever be able to access Course A.  I’m aware of how to restrict courses to particular users using groups, but is there way to say this group should only have access to this course and no other course? Because I’m only looking to limit a small group of users to a small group of courses, I don’t want to go the exclusionary route (all groups can access all courses minus John’s group); I’d rather proactively allow one group to only access the small number of courses (John’s group can only access these courses). 

We have had a small, but increasing amount of issues where a user will say they are not able to log in. We have Okta so users see the page with the SAML SSO button, when a user clicks it pops up with the Okta verifying animation, and then returns them to the same SAML SSO page. This is happening to new and existing users. We have had users open up incognito browsers and they still experience the same loop.Luckily, we discovered that if a user pastes the url to the my courses page it will let them in. The next time a user clicks in the SAML SSO button login works as expected. However, this is a workaround and not a fix.Has anyone else experienced this and identified the issue? I have tried opening up a ticket, but they act like it is an individual issue. Waiting for a user to experience the issue and then having them paste in a url is not a good introduction/overall UX of Docebo.

This has been raised before and closed with no action. The ability to set a due date relative to the enrolment date is essential for ensuring compliance and meeting audit requirements across many businesses.Using a soft deadline is not effective, as it applies a fixed date that does not accommodate learners who enrol after that date. This limitation makes it unsuitable for ongoing or staggered enrolments.In our case, we must meet SOC2 auditing standards, which require us to demonstrate a specific "completed by" date for each learner. This date must accurately reflect whether a learner is overdue, making enrolment-based due dates a critical feature.  Having worked across multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS), I’ve found this to be a basic and expected feature. It allows for flexibility and accuracy in tracking learner progress, especially in environments with rolling enrolments.This could be a deal breaker for us 

Hey folks! I have looked through the KB and the community and I cannot find a straight answer for this.Scenario: We need every employee to retake their compliance certification every December - even new employees. So, if an employee starts in September, they need to take the certification in September and then again in December.With the Cert + Retraining app, it seems that we can only set this up to require the employee to re-certify every x days, not necessarily every December.Is there something I’m missing here? Is there a workaround for this that isn’t cumbersome? Thanks for your thoughts!

We are just implementing Docebo as our organizations new LMS. We would like to find a solution for our current onboarding process. The process involves spreadsheets that are standardized for specific company roles while also being customizable by managers to add specific training based on location, business need, etc. The document has several tabs and includes required training courses, documents, resources, videos and technical training that the employee works on over the first few weeks/ months of employment. A manager can check on their progress through an integrated dashboard. I know there are several elements that we can utilize in Docebo to mimic this process- learning paths for the standard role training, channels to house accessible training, links to documents, checklists to assist etc. My first question is:Is there a way to have learning paths AND custom curated content (assigned by managers) all in one so that we can provide a solution similiar to the current one where there

Let me rephrase my original question.Can the videos uploaded to the LMS be shared with an embed code, link, or iframe? If yes, how do we access it? 

Hi, I have administrators who need to have access to more employees than their specific group because of their need to assign coursework to other groups. So, I’ve granted them access to numerous branches.Unfortunately, that means on their page when they look at the task list widget for “Admins and Power Users only” they are seeing far more employees than they are directly responsible. Is there a way I can either set a permanent filter for them based on the specific page they use the widget on (one per branch) or give them a drop down of the groups or branches to allow them to select which employees they see?If there’s a better way for me to offer my admins a way to manage their group of employees, I’m open to creating separate admin pages.Thanks in advance for your advice. 

Hello! We are beginning to host a 37 week course, that is 4 days a week for 2 hours each day. We have two different groups, an AM group and a PM group. What is the best way to build this out? I’ve built and tested an ILT event import which works great. My only concern is that users will receive 148 invites (we have the Outlook session invites through Docebo Connect), one for each event. Is there a better way to build this out? Does anyone have experience with multi-week, multi-day trainings?Thank you in advance!

I’ve noticed that with the new Catalog Page, there’s no longer an option to “publish” or “unpublish” a catalog. Instead, we have to set the catalog’s visibility to none, which isn’t ideal. It means we have to manually track who each catalog should be visible to if we need to unpublish then re publish for whatever reason. When managing large # of catalogs this is not ideal. What would be extremely helpful is a way to see where each catalog is published. We have a large number of pages and catalogs, and right now, the only way I can identify placement of catalogs is by visiting each page, making a manual list of which catalogs appear there, and then cross-referencing visibility settings. Am I missing a report, or other method that makes this easier? Or has anyone found a workaround for tracking catalog publication and visibility across multiple pages? Thanks in advance for any insight!

For ILT courses is it possible that when a course is still under maintenance it does not send a notification to the user enrolled until it gets published? I can assume that when I am enrolling users into ILT there may be a bit of movements from one to another session so I dont want to send several emails to notify the user. Only want to notify them once I am confident all the courses are properly laid out. 

When I use the Docebo Learn - Update User action in Connect to update a manager field it will remove any pre-existing managers that user has. Clears out the entire manager list and only leaves the updated value. Is there a workaround for this? I’m assuming this is because the API call is a PUT thus requiring all fields to be populated else they are made null?

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone has solved this issue before. We are getting closer to producing certification courses with final exams, and when a learner fails the test, their enrollment status stays as "In Progress" even though the test clearly shows "Failed" with a 0/100 score. This makes it really difficult to identify who has actually failed versus who just hasn't finished yet, which is a problem for our compliance reporting and audits.I've looked through the test settings trying to find an option to automatically mark the course as failed based on test results, but I can't find anything. I also explored custom reports, but test-level data (like pass/fail status) doesn't seem to be available alongside enrollment data. I even looked into Docebo Connect, but there's no webhook for "test failed" that would let me automate a status update.The only thing I can think of is manually changing failed users to "Suspended" status, but that blocks them from retaking the exam and doesn't reall

I need to create refresher trainings for 8 different groups and courses need to renewed annually, biannually and Triannually.Need to understand the process with Certification and Retraining App. If the users are renewing the courses, will the old data get lost or archived.

We’re encountering an issue when enabling a course with Multilanguage settings and using Sequential Navigation.In the course, we have an English folder, a Spanish folder, and some common materials outside the language folders (as shown in the screenshot).When I follow the English path, I’m able to complete all the content in the English folder, but I can’t access the next common material — it appears as Locked with a message that the prerequisite was not met.When I switch to the Spanish, I’m unable to start the course at all. The first Spanish learning material remains locked until I complete the English materials.Did I do something wrong or the Sequential Navigation shouldn’t be applied when Multilanguage is enabled?

Has anyone had an existing partnership with OpenSesame and moved over to the Docebo Content by OpenSesame (DCOS)? I would like to hear what your feedback is regarding the change and how you are liking the DCOS compared to the OS platformm along with any learnings that you feel should be shared with organizations considering making the switch Did you lose any ability to curate courses by previewing in full? I would need to allow for numerous curators across regions and departments, I saw a post about only a 5 min preview which doesn’t work for us, we would need to be able to vet courses in full.  Do courses get created in FULL in Docebo with DCOS? The manual course creation with only SCORM import is painful If you had to do it all over, would you still make the switch or stay with a direct OS vendor config?

Hiya helpful people! Does anyone know if you can bulk enter multiple domains into the “restrict Domains” box under self-registration? I want to open self-registration to our customers only but we have over 6,000 different domains in the UK alone and I don’t want to have to add them in manually! I was thinking, can they be separated by ; or : or , Thanks!Beccy

We have users that have enrolled in sessions, then not attended, the session was in September.  When they go back into the same course to register for a different session in November or January, the upcoming sessions do not appear on the course page as an option for them to enroll.We run the same classes every other month.  Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?Our pull through on registrations to attendance is about 50%. We don’t want people thinking there are no future sessions.

Hi there,We want to make our managers accountable for their team members if they don’t complete their compliance training and were looking at the notification “Learner has yet to complete a course”. Ideally we don’t want the manager to get lots of these notifications if a few of their team members haven't completed the training. Is there a notification or a short code that just sends one notification to the manager with a list of those who have yet to complete the training rather than individual notifications?

Hi. I’m trying to troubleshoot why a user is seeing a page that they should not be assigned to, but first I have to troubleshoot why I can’t figure out what groups anyone belongs to.I’m just about positive that I used to be able to look up a user’s groups on the User management page. It was on the first page of the User Personal Summary. But that’s no loner the case, apparently. It doesn’t appear to be anywhere on the User management page. Now I have to do some additional legwork.I know there are other options - like the Group menu - but should I not be able to look at one user & determine all of the groups that they belong to w/o opening all 200 or whatever Groups that all of my Power Users created & looking for them manually?

I’m trying trying to implement annual compliance training for staff that will renew on the same calendar date for all staff each year.  The problem I'm having is that when the Learning Plan is assigned, we’re giving staff 90 days to complete it.  I was going to use certifications so it will auto-renew next year, but I can’t figure out how to give all staff the same due date for renewal since they have such a large range for completion this year.  If I set the renewal for 365 days, I understand that will be from the date each person completes it this year, which is not what we want.  Any suggestions?

Hi Community! I just wanted to check if anyone has advice on how to connect a Moodle-based LTI? The LTI’s have been created and necessary URLs added. However, when the learner clicks on the content to launch, it prompts a log-in page to the provider’s site. In the previous system we were using, we needed to register the tool URL to avoid seeing this log-in page, but I’m not finding such an option on Docebo.  Any advice? Thank you

Looking for feedback on how others would handle this.(Yay we get more reporting coming on event status, but…..I don’t know if that answers my questions/problem.)If you mark a learner absent on an event for a course that is attendance based for course completion. It shows their status as ‘in progress’.I don’t know what the right answer is here. I don’t think it’s fair to mark them complete, they didn’t show up. BUT the course is over, they can never complete it.I want to capture that they didn’t show up, I don’t want to show a completion on course reporting (Credit where it isn’t due), but I also don’t want it to hang out forever on their in progress course list.I could mark them as ‘suspended’ I guess? What does that status even mean?How are you all dealing with this? 

Morning all,I’ve had a query from a line manager that when they click into their team, they can see ‘Expired certifications’ but ‘overdue courses’ doesn’t show anything (see screenshot yellow box)When you click into the colleague, they in fact have a number of eLearning courses they haven’t started (status is enrolled), however that field doesn’t seem to link to this, so it gives the impression to the manager that only the expired certifications are outstanding.What triggers this field, or what can we do to highlight this?

I searched for this topic and I found a closed post from 3 years ago.We have a fair amount of trainings that are in PowerPoint and use the Slide Converter. We have trackers out of Docebo to maintain versioning. How are Admins/Power Users tracking the versions?
