Refining search results

Is it possible to refine search results by using search operators - for example, to exclude words or terms that you don’t want to be included in a search result? To illustrate this, I might want to search for “Excel”, but exclude anything with “Excellent” in the title or description. I’ve been able to use quotation marks to specify a particular phrase, but other operators such as the minus sign and AND and OR haven’t worked for me. I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Can I pause a notification?

Hello all. I have regular ILTs scheduled for the last Tuesday and the last Thursday of the month, with notifications going out at the intervals of 1 week, 4 days, 1 day & 1 hour. However, because of Christmas in December, I have scheduled the meetings a week early.My question is: Can I pause the notifications? I have set new notifications for the new day and time, but I don’t want them to get the regular notification the next week. Can I pause or do I need to unenroll everyone from the notification and then re-enroll them in January?Warm regards, Cindy

Notifications filters - which group or branch is selected

This enhancement request may already exist, but I didn’t see it.Under Notifications, once you select your desired group and/or branch, when you need to circle back to it, you can’t easily tell the name of your selection without search guessing or clicking through the pages to find your selections. It should be setup to allow the admin can see the selection on the main page with an option to add / select others to the list.

New Reports: ILT Session Start and End Date "Relative" filters behave strangely, need a future date feature

Our organization is attempting to use the New Reports tool to create a nightly report on ILT Session attendance, showing data from only that date.I attempted to create this by using the Session Options → Session Start Date and End Date filters, setting the start date to 1 day ago and the end date to 0 days ago. This produced no results, so I changed it to 2 days ago and 0 days ago.This appeared to work at first, but I quickly realized it was not picking up data from sessions that began after 11am. I wonder if this is caused by some issue with how the system handles dates and times. I made sure it wasn’t a time zone issue, at least on our end - our zone is properly set in settings to Pacific time. Has anyone else experienced strange results with these filters? It is unfortunate I can’t report on anything past 11am on the same day.In addition, I’d like to make a suggestion to let you filter by session relative dates in the future. Currently, it only supports “X days ago”, not “X days fro

Training Material Based Session Completion: What if I have multiple tests?

In an ILT session I want learners to be marked as “Completed” once they have taken the Post-Test. Therefore, I have selected “Training Material Based” in the settings to try to accomplish this. However, I also have a Pre-Test in the training material list. With 2 tests in my training material, will learners get marked as completed after only doing the pre-test? Or will it mark them complete after taking BOTH tests? Or in general- if I have multiple tests, will they have to complete all tests to be marked “complete” or just one test? Thanks!

User personal summary - Rename 'Courses'

HiWithin the User personal summary page the user is presented with a menu and has both ‘Courses’ and ‘ILT ( Instructor Lead Training)’. To an end user it is not immediately clear what the difference is between these two pages, and only by clicking into these will they then see that Course is in fact ‘all courses’ i.e. both ILT and eLearning enrolment activity. I don't see this ‘Courses’ listed in the Localisation Tool to change the name , and I wonder, is it possible? Can we locally change ‘Courses’ to ‘All Courses’? Many thanksKate

Docebo hosting for content on public website

I want to offer some of the content I’ve posted to Docebo on my public website for people to view. I don’t care about saving their progress or having them log in- more a sample of some information they could see, that my internal staff gets full tracking and information on. Can I use Docebo to host and play the content, available on a different website without validation/log in? Basically an iframe or player on my public website as a marketing tool for people to log term join my company and do the full training once they’re hired?Case:SCORM file in Docebo- works great, employee learners take itI want to share that file on my public website without them logging into Docebo. (Not employees)

Courses/assets marked Outdated

When a Superadmin/PowerUser/User is advised that their course/asset is outdated. There is no way of clearing this other than updating the links etc. to clear the outdated status. This is frustrating when the asset is new and is not outdated. Could be user error marking it as outdated?More so for courses, where you can’t identify what part of the course they believe is outdated?Especially when the course is current, not outdated. Is it one item in the course the user believes it out of date? To remove this status you would need to refresh the links to all the training material?Is there not a way that the owner can clear this without having to go through the whole course?I know that it is only the owner of the course/asset that sees it marked as outdated but they are still asking the question who, why and how do we clear it?

User personal summary - ILT replace enrolment with session start date

HiFrom the user’s personal summary, the ILT (Instructor Lead training) session currently includes a column called ‘ENROLLED. Is there a way to configure this locally for all users, to remove this column and replace it with ‘Session Start date’. For ILT, the enrolment date is not relevant, but learners do want clear visibility of when they are due to attend an ILT session. Thanks in advanceKate

Course equivalency combining scorm files

Hi,I am wanting to combine multiple courses into one course for the purpose of enrolling, rostering and training wages to complete a course per a specific timeframe, i.e 1 hour or 1.5 hours pay. My plan is to create a new course and add scorm files as training materials, setting an order using the pre- req function. I will bundle courses that have an existing certification together so this annual renewal remains.For new users this is an easy fix to attach the new created course onto the learning plan. What about existing users. If they have already completed Course A, B and C as separate courses, when I create the new course ABC combined, do I use the equivalency function and this will retain previous course (A, B and C separate) completed dates and reset the date to complete in 365 days?

Suspend courses

HiI have courses, with certification attached, that users have to complete annually. These courses also have a observation checklist attached to assess the practical skill of the theory in the eLearning course. Completion of the OC renders the course complete which then reactivates on a user’s Task List under Certifications to renew displaying the date (in 365 days) of when they need to renew by.Some users no longer serve customers who require the user to have the knowledge and skill capacity refreshed every year by completing the course. We don't want users to complete unnecessary training as they are paid for this, additionally we don't need to waste time for a nurse assessment of the OC if the user does not need to complete it.Is there a way to temporarily suspend a user from having to complete a course with certification attached, so to maintain last completed date in the records? If a user then in the future needs to complete the course again, along with the OC assessment, the

Images in Test Questions

We recently moved to the new course player and have found that tests include large white margins of unused space. We have test questions that include images. The images are too small for learners to see and cannot expand into these margins. We are brainstorming possible solutions to this issue and would like to see if anyone can offer additional ideas. Our ideas so far have included:Learners zoom in via the browser to better see the images. Add a link to the images so they open in a new tab. This requires learners to navigate back and forth between tabs. Rework our test questions to remove the images.The following screenshot is an example of one of our test questions. You cannot click on images in tests to view a larger image in a pop out as you can with my screenshot in this post.

New course player - link on new learning plan page

Hey all! We’ve implemented the new course player yesterday for our users.But while testing, we noticed an illegible link while looking at learning plans, via: My Courses and Learning Plans > open a learning plan > click on the “Resume Training” (or “Retake the Learning Plan” button if the learning plan was completed).On that page, there is a “Go to learning plan page” link -And that was black-on-black for us when we switched. I reached out to support about it, and the colour for this can be configured via: Configure Branding and Look > Colors > Accent Text & Links.However, we’re struggling because that is also the configuration for links in the admin menu. We can’t find a colour that works on both the new dark background AND the white admin menu, that also remains accessible for our users.The support rep recommended that we do custom CSS for this, but I imagine others are going to run into this as well who aren’t able/willing to implement custom CSS to fix it.Have other

Issue with Enrollment Attributes not showing for all users

I’ll be submitting this as a ticket but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this:I turned on the Enrollment Attributes:I created a test course and assigned it using Enrollment Attribute = Optional to two people (myself and my coworker). When I look at the Home Page, I see the Optional attribute showing.My colleague does not. Any ideas?

While playing around in our sandbox today, I found this new option when enrolling users:tried a few different settings and it seems to apply this to the courses...just not sure what the difference is between Mandatory and Required. Looked in KB but nothing is mentioned and this was not in the release notes.Ned to understand the different combinations and what they mean for users...for example, below you can see a course with a setting of “recommended” WITH and expire date...how does this work for users? Does it mean that they should completed before that date? How is this reflected in reports? Are notifications tied to these statuses?So many questions...@erin.brisson do you have any additional information on this? Thx

CSV User Import fails for Power-User but not Superadmin

We import users via csv every couple of weeks. In the past few weeks this stopped working for power-user with all permissions Superadmin can import the same csv file with no issues, when a power-user does it the job fails as ‘discontinued’ with no error report to download I tried removing all superadmins and power-users from the csv file and it still failed I tried creating a new power-user and granted all permissions and that also failed Confirmed that the field mapping and all of the options on the import page match between the superadmin and power-user Observation that power-users used to get a warning on upload that mentioned something about inability to apply superadmin changes or something and that warning is no longer coming up when they import On failure the power-user gets an email:Background job 'Start importer task' with ID:(-) aborted at (0%) with error: Unable to receive results from: user/batch So we’re able to do this still as a superadmin just don’t know why our power
