I don’t want power users inactivating people in Docebo, we use Auth0 for that and a custom roster system.  Can I have power users have other user perms without being able to inactivate users?

I was assigned to decebo just last Friday and have zero experience with this tool. My task is to add a second Domain to the Extended Enterprise. Our parent company has a well established decebo implementation in Europe.Extended Enterprise is enabled and I have gone to the manage link and added our domain name and attached to the Branch that was created. I am not clear on the steps to make this work? I have watched the university course and read the documentation, but not connecting the dots. Our goal is to have SSO for our users and a seperate catalog of course managed by the US based team.All input/assistance is appreciated.Regards,David

We have an in house Excel course that gets lost in the search function amongst all of our LinkedIn Learning content. I want to be able to boost our live Excel course above the many many LinkedIn Learning options. We have Excel in the name, in the course code, in an additional field for the course and none of it seems to get it before the 20th option. (Only one of the LinkedIn Learning courses uses tags) Is there a way that will be as effective as tagging for ILT? Thanks!

I have multiple companies looking to set up retrainings. It looks like a LP can only be in one retraining.  

I’m testing notifications and found another glitch. This time I’m setting up a digest email for channels and it’s saying Roles are N/A, but yet it’s asking me to pick roles when I click the schedule link. When I click the edit link, it won’t ask me. So strange. Here’s a screenshot: 

We are looking to make our video training materials more user friendly. We utilize Vimeo links for most of our video and are considering increasing our license to include chapters and leverage the interactivity now offered by Vimeo.  Want to make sure the investment is worth it. Are chapters in Vimeo supported by the Docebo player?Is anyone using interactivity in Vimeo? Does Docebo player support the interactive elements or strip them away?

Is there a way to change the end date of all the courses included in a LP at the same time? I know I can change the validity of the end date of the LP, but it doesn’t seem to affect the end date of the courses included when I go to the user personal summary.Any other way to do that?Thank you!

I created a widget page and added the Activity Stream widget to the page. The Activity Stream shows all activity that is happening within Docebo. Is there any way to change the Activity Stream where it will only show activity that is happening within that specific widget page?  

I have a group that wants to assign training based on ‘Who’ the manager is.For example all direct employees under Jan Doe would automatically get assigned training.I’m not seeing in creating groups a way to add field ‘Direct Manager’  I also don’t see in custom report that I can filter a report to only display everyone that is under a particular manager or managers. I am aware of the My Teams and we do utilize this. But curious how anyone handles outside of the direct manager assigning themselves but auto-assigning. Thanks!

Hi Community, Is there a workaround for Power Users to download Custom Reports from Courses that aren’t visible to them? These are paid courses, so they’re don’t have permission to enroll users in these courses, but they still would like to see their progress as the company paid for them.  If I create a custom report as a Superadmin and make it available to the Power User, they get the report empty.  Thanks for any suggestions!Roberto Lopez

Hi community,I have a bit off issue, we yearly create a new course for some for a ILT/ Classroom we do.These courses simply but are marked Course 2019, Course 2020, Course 2021, etc.Since the content of these courses as the same each year, we set them equivelant to each other.So if you followed a course in 2019, automatically you pass any of thenew courses when they are released. The only issue we have with Docebo Learn is that the user is still able to select session of one of these new courses. Which we don't want them to since they already did the course in the past.For registration it is important to move them to the new course each year, as it is part of the learning plan for that year. Is there anyway for us to prevent these users from selecting a course once they are released. Theorectically we could create a dummy session and put them all in this, but I don't think this is nice solution.Thank you all in advance for your f

Hi, When you print off an attendance sheet, i notice you can configure to include extra information and change the column order.  However you have to do thi each time you go it.  Is there a way of permanently keeping these settings?  

@erin.brisson answered a general Q to clarify that this course notif logic be design excludes learners in Completed status. (A side ask is please update the KB article and i think the notif grid chart pdf which has unclear wording, something like “assuming they haven’t completed” which is what prompted my Q to Erin).This is a follow-up set of Qs when wanting to send the notif to a user’s manager.When considering using this to send to “Manager”, it’s unclear whether or how to include short codes to display the manager’s name in the greeting and the learner’s username or first/last name. When sending to Manager, as the same shortcodes like “username”, or “first name/last name” the right ones to use? It kinda implies that would display the manager’s name. Or when used and sending to manager, the logic picks the user values for those codes? Confusing UI and KB article or I missed it. I want to use

Reports allow you to sort on one level. Many times it is desirable to add a sort on another level. For example, I can sort on Branches. This is helpful but I would like to add a second level of sort so each Branch is sorted by Username. Is this possible?

Hey there- I’m new to this, so I wanted to clarify my understanding and see what workarounds seem to work best for those who have been doing this more long-term. Our IT department would like our employees to take a course every six months and track the completions. We’re running into a couple problems in thatwe want to keep archival data on taking the course, we want to auto-enroll users, and we want to see if they could be prompted to recertify six months after their individual completion of the course instead of just doing it two general times a year. It seems that the go-to move on here is to create a certification that expires after the time allotment and create a new course for users to enroll in. My concern is that users have to self-enroll, archival data on past compliance completions may be overwritten, it seems likely it’ll just be twice a year for everyone instead of 6 months after the user has completed their first

Hi How should I complete a course with a past date? Do I have to create a session? We have new employees  who get a course assigned to them as part of a learning plan, sometimes they may join the company with the certificate already. We were advised to add these certificates via external activities and add the certification to give the correct expiry date. However the course assigned to the user as part of the learner remains outstanding. If I complete the course it triggers it as complete with todays date and gives the new expiry from today so today plus 3 years rather than say June plus 3 years. Is my only way around this to create a session in the past, assign user to session then complete the course?  Thanks

In the June release, there is a new update release in which the users can send an account deletion request from Go.Learn. The thing is the request is been sent to  “Registrations, lost passwords and background jobs email sender” under the Advanced Setting. I have tested it, however, I found it to be quite hard to digest since the email sender and recipient will be the same. Have anyone explored this and would appreciate having a few points of view here?

One of our learners is getting this error after enrolling in one of our courses - it reads “We apologize, and error has occured. Error initializing the UI: media failed to load - no’media.error’ provided.” I’m not sure if it’s a Docebo issue or maybe something to do with their computer? She seems to be the only one experiencing this issue. 

Is there a way to download a course description (description, learning outcomes, pre-reqs etc) along with course dates, so that it can be emailed out to prospective learners?

HI all, I have 3 additional fields in my ILT sessions that I need to fill out in the CSV file. I can add them to my CSV file but when I need to map the fields in my CSV file with the Docebo available fields there are no available fields. How can I get them added?

In order to capture the audience, and all the metrics needed for our ILT courses, we’d like a shareable registration link for each of our ILT sessions. Currently, folks can share the zoom link and content, outside of the LMS, thus circumventing the system and not allowing us to count them as a trained individual. For Docebo, this is reducing the number of active users/month - something that may have an impact on revenue.

The goal we are trying to accomplish is to have a site with widgets (already built in docebo) that is the landing page for an Extended Enterprise. The goal is to have people able to view this page without needing to sign in. So far, it looks like this is impossible. Does anyone know a workaround?

My boss would like to know the total number of sessions recorded on our site for a one year period. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to calculate this? I see that you can set a date range in the Admin Dashboard, but doing so doesn’t seem to have any effect on the range shown in the “Recent activities” area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 

This is kind of a follow-up to the Swagger API post that’s “Related”.  Is there anywhere that the raw Swagger API information is available?  As part of our implementation we are needing to use the API quite a bit. It’s much faster to implement calls against the API if we can generate our connection objects using a Swagger endpoint, rather than needing to code each interaction from scratch.  I believe it was called out in the other thread that the API Documentation is generated from Swagger. Is there a way for customers to access the same Swagger endpoint as that used by the Docs?
