Hi everyone! I work as an admin for my companies’ Docebo platform and had a question I wasn’t able to figure out in the help files. We currently use learning plans for a few of our compliance courses, and I’m trying to determine how we can have Docebo send a notification if one, or multiple, courses are overdue in the learning plan, rather than from each individual course, to prevent a user from getting say 3 or 4 emails of overdue lessons. 

I want to encourage people to change their profile imagesI was hoping to set a default image instead of the iMessage-style first and last initial. Something in unpleasant colors that says “change me” in large letters probably. I know that gamification of updating your profile image is coming in October hopefully! P.S. Hi Everyone!  Looking for advice!  We are creating channels for each member of our executive team to share their own personal learning moments as a way to connect with employees in our organization.  My thought is to create a page with a video at the top to introduce what the page is - our President sharing what it is and how to engage with a call to action.  Below his video will be custom content boxes for each member of the EC that connects to their personal channel where they share musings, stories, videos, etc.  Has anyone done anything like this before? If so, what might you recommend?  What are some “watch-outs” I should be prepared for?  Appreciate any and all guidance! 

Hey There Docebo Community…I’m having an issue that occurred once before.  I can successfully make a group (45 users - manual), however, when I attempt to add them to a learning plan, I get the spinning symbol but no green status bar.  When this happened in the past, I logged out...logged in...and all was well.  No luck this time.  I did confirm that I can still enroll one individual to the same learning plan. Any guidance?  I’ve submitted a ticket, but thought I’d check in here. Ryan BerardiDirector of Training and DevelopmentClark Associates, Inc.

I am trying to figure out how to have my eLearning course training material automatically play.  Is there a way to do that?  I have a mixture of materials. Module 1 - xAPI materialModule 2 - VideoModule 3 - xAPI material

Is there a way that completed courses can revert to ‘in progress’ status when new materials are added?We have started to experiment with using Docebo as a repository for important compliance materials, which we store in courses as learning materials.  We chose to use Docebo for this so we could automate reminders and check completion easily through reporting.The problem arises when we have to add new compliance documents or update current documents.  The courses maintain their completed status, so any reminders for updates will not be sent as they are linked to completion.  It also appears to the user that there is nothing more to download.I know I can update this manually, but we’d like a way for it to be automated.Thanks in advance

Hi all!New to posting but have been lurking for a couple months. We have several Power Users who want to be able to see what everyone is doing globally. Ideally they would like to edit their own courses (assigned to them by location), but also view everyone else’s. Is this possible? 

Is there a way to set it up so that the platform auto-deletes my ILTs after they’re completed? Each program we run has 5 x ILT Course/Session/Event associated with it. (We do it that way so that all 5 appears on the learner’s calendar any other way and it won’t appear.) If we run 50 programs a month that’s 250 ILTs sitting in the system that keeps building and building and in which I have to eventually delete. (As a sidebar, it would be so nice if I could duplicate an ILT to help with the amount of clicks needed to create these as well.)

Happy Friday and howdy - as we come up on our implementation anniversary (only a year ago, our contract was still drying) I wanted to make sure I understand a best practice with training materials as we are scrambling less and beginning to document practices for others on the team.Let’s say you have a SCO that was imported as a training material. It is the only learning object in the course. Is it implied that “it” controls (the completion criteria of the SCO itself) is what is controlling the completion of the course shell?Lets go one step further and say that all of our courses are leveraging an HTML page that talks through a getting started piece of text and covers how to get the course to go to completion. Is it now that much more critical to ensure that the SCO is marked as the end marker?’What I am getting at - should we alway mark a SCO with as the end marker if we tend to be a SCO to a Course (1:1) kind of shop?

We have an enrollment need that I can’t imagine is unique to us. We have a course offering that we want to make available to a certain group (about 3-400 users), which we will do through catalogs.  However, all users will need manager approval to be able to enroll. As this will apply to our entire region, there are a lot of managers who would need to be able to approve the courses. We need the users to be able to see the courses and then ask to be enrolled (straightforward).  There would then need to be a notification sent to their manager expressing their interest in the course, who should then be able to accept or decline their enrollment into the course. If possible, we would like to avoid having too many power users, so is it possible to achieve what we need without turning the managers into power users?  At the moment we have to rely on communication between the managers, the teams and the T&D team, which takes up a lot of man hours

Does anyone know when Custom Skills are coming? Heard talk of it a while back. Really excited for that one.

We have a new vendor client who has the Docebo platform and has courses and videos on how to use their product. Our Safety department had viewed their training resources on the vendors Docebo platform and wanted to have these available on our Doceboplatform so our agents and drivers could take these courses/videos on how to use this new product. Do you know if this feature is coming?

Is there a way to create a catalog using categories so that I don’t have to select course by course?

Hi everyone,Please can you help me out?  We currently have some essential skills that we need people to do every 3 years and I’ve set them up in Docebo and all’s good with them.  All the skills that have completed in Docebo are fine.However, when we implemented Docebo there were some people who had completed essential skills before it was set up.  As a result those completions were put in a database and dropped into Docebo but were not linked to any certification.  I have set up the certifications and was advised that I could reapply these to those people by uploading the database using the recommended CSV file in the Certifications part of Docebo which seems to have worked in the sense that it now shows expired and gives the option to renew.I now have two issues now, the first is that some people have redone their training before I activated their renewals but despite changing the completion date for them it’s still showing as renew now.The second is tha

Hello everyone!I have a quick question about certifications: I created a new certification today and attached it to an existing course, and I noticed that the certification was not awarded to people who had completed the course before I attached it.Is this expected behaviour? Is there a way to award the certification to everyone who has completed the course, regardless of when they completed it?Thanks to everyone here - I’ve learned so much from this community!

Howdy!  We are trying to limit the view of courses for our interns and contractors. I figured the best way to do that is to use the catalog feature. You can see the Platform Science Content link that we have to click to see all the content.  So we have 2 groups created and 2 catalogs. However when we go to the catalog section of Docebo we have to click the catalog vs all the courses just displaying and there are additional courses showing for some reason even though everything had been added to catalogs.  Is there a way to do that?  

Here’s what I’m trying to do. Imagine you’re an instructor who can teach multiple standard programs. Your home page only displays unique/custom programs (e.g. client wants it delivered in 1 week instead of 4). Now imagine sidebar tab that houses all the other 10+ standard learning plans that you can teach. Think of it as a library of resources you can access. (I’ve set it up as a catalog.) Here’s my problem, When I tested that ‘library/resources’ page by clicking one of the standard catalog-courses, that Learning plan program now shows up on my main page where all my custom programs reside. Is there any way to separate this? To keep a ‘library’ page separate when people click into the LPs?Any workarounds that people can think of?Much appreciated.

Is anyone having problems with learners who are also Power Users not being able to access the course player in an eLearning course and not being able to see content of course widgets (forum, IFRAME, uploaded files)? I seem to have a tech service tickets for each of these issues and I am curious if there is a work around or if I am doing something wrong.  For a little background, these Power Users are course Instructors who are each an expert in a specific subject. If they are not a subject export, then they need to be able to take a course, have access to the eLearning course player and be able to access course reading materials that we have uploaded to the course

I’m playing around with the Category functionality, and I know that categories that are created on the Course Management page will appear in the CLOR, and vice versa, if a category is created in the CLOR it will appear under Course Management.  I can see the use case for using Categories on Courses, as they help with filtering both for the end user within catalogs, and for Administrators who are creating courses.  I’m struggling to find a good use case for the Categories in the CLOR.Does anyone else use categories in the CLOR? I’m curious to know how they are beneficial for you, as well as if you use Categories in the CLOR, do you also use categories on course shells?

Hi, I’m relatively new to Docebo and was hoping someone might have dealt with this issue before. Is it possible to be a user (not power user or superadmin) and be able to access 2 different Docebo domains? I thought maybe adding a user to two different branches would solve the issue but it doesn’t look like that is an option anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey folks! I’m looking to create an automatic group for anyone who manages a team. My first thought would be to create a condition set based on employee title containing “manager”.  However, we have titles in our organization that contain “manager” who in fact, don’t manage a team. So it can be difficult to narrow down just people with a team using the above condition set. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome.
