Engaging Home Page Layouts

I am looking for some clean and engaging home page layout designs for Learners, Supervisors and Admins.  I’m not a designer so it is always best for me to see examples and copy things that look good.  Does anyone have screenshots or links they can share to give me some ideas?

How to open a ticket to Help Desk if you don’t have the access to platform

Hi everyone, I’m Roberto Moscatelli from the Docebo Support Team and I would like to share something about opening tickets to Help Desk.As Superadmin, if for any reason you cannot login to your platform, you can open a ticket from the Docebo Help Desk Page as well. To do it just go to help.docebo.com Then click on “Support” on the top right:  Then just insert all of the information in the form below: To check all of the interactions/tickets that you have with the Support Team just sign in on the top right and, once you have inserted your credentials, click on your account and select “My activities”:  Then you will see a list of tickets created by you as Superadmin: If your Docebo platform has multiple Superadmin accounts for the platform (thus, multiple people submit requests to the Help Desk Team), you can submit a support request asking for permission to view all requests submitted by all Superadmins for the platform, rather than just your own requests. Otherwise, going to “Organizat

Badges pop-up

Hi team!Does anyone know how to enable badges pop-up? Without it, the learners can miss the fact that they have earned a badge, since that way, they are silently added to the gamification tab.

Playing content from external resources

Please share your experiences whether / how you managed this:“Nesting” a training from other external platforms (particularly from SABA LMS, but not only this). A learner starts a web-based training from a course in Docebo and always stays in Docebo (does not leave it for a different platform), but the content is being transferred from an external source (from SABA / from elsewhere) and is not stored in Docebo. If yes, will the statistics be available in Docebo, e.g. completion after watching X% of the content etc. If they are not available, are there ways to automatically import these statistics to Docebo from this external platform in order to track the learners’ activities? Sample API JSON to assign user to Group and Branches in create user method

Hi guys,Need your help. I just wonder if someone can paste some sample JSON data that can include the branch and group at the time we create the user.I tried to use the sample JSON provided by official Docebo API Explorer. Unfortunately there is no more details in the documentation. I can successfully create a user if I remove the “group_membership” and "select_orgchart" attributes.If someone can help that would be good. A dummy JSON data would help. Thank you guys.

Turning on and off notification pop-ups for new functionality

When My Skills was added to the user profiles it created two notification pop-ups. One on the landing page (“MySkills added to your profile”), and one when you navigate to MySkills (“Fresh Content for You”).Those are useful for introducing the new functionality or for infrequent users, but can be annoying for more frequent users.Any advice on how to turn those pop-ups on or off? Either to allow users to choose pop-ups (or not), or as admins, to control how long or how many times it pops up.

Add notes from power user to individual user in course.

We are looking to use a course with a E-signature and annual certification for our Work at Home agreement.  The issue I am running into is sometimes there is notes added for special circumstances. I find options for the user to add a note but not having any luck finding a way for power users to add a note or comment for an individual on the course. Any solutions?

Chaining LP's - is there a better way?

I seek advice from the hive mind to see if there is a ‘better way’.So, we have a bunch of LP’s. A bunch of users that have additional fields on them. We want different users to go through the LP’s in a different order based on their additional fields.Whilst the navigation is linear for each user, the order of that linear navigation is different for each, based on the additional field. We do not want the users being enrolled on the next LP until the current one is complete.e.g.User with Additional field value of XYZ will do LP2 > LP3 > LP1User with additional field value of ABC will do LP1 > LP3 > LP4User with additional field value of MNP will do LP5 > LP1 > LP2 The only way I can think of doing it is to have a group set up for every combination of LP and additional field value based on enrolment status, that then enrols them via an auto enrolment rule to the relevant next LP.Anyone else have any bright ideas to make this simpler? as we’re going to have an awful lot o

CSV bulk enrollment into a learning plan and then assign into cohorts (groups?)

Hi! I have created a learning plan.Now I need to enroll 500 learners into this learning plan divided into cohorts of 5 (groups). Can someone please provide a step by step walk through on how to do this? I’ve been reading a lot of articles but I am still confused and not sure where to start.  Thank you so much.

Power User (PU) Automation

When creating Power Users there are four steps that need to be followed for a correct configuration.  the user needs a level of “Power User’ assigned. the specific Power User Profile(s) needs to be assigned. the audience (User, Group, Branch) needs to be assigned. the specific content (Courses, Learning Plans, Catalogs) needs to be assigned. Your nightly file feed through the automation app, or API calls can automate the first three items (Level, Profile, and Audience-Branch default). If a different audience is required a separate CSV file using another automation rule can be created. Setting specific content can be done in the UI (individually or bulk) by power users. You can also handle assigning resources via an automation rule through a CSV load.

Two Subtitles with the Same Timestamp

Course Catalog - Self-Enroll Best Practices?

Hi Everyone, We are looking to restructure our course catalog and categories to make it easier for learners to search for and self-enroll in courses available to them. We are struggling with defining the structure for both considering the limitations listed below. Microsoft Sway presentation in course training material

Hello,If you manually award a learner a certification in certification and retraining and they are not enrolled onto the course as they have previous experience but you want them to update in XXmonths when the learner click ‘renew now’ will they be enrolled onto the course to complete?Hope that makes sense.ThanksAnt

How to help university professors track students: Manager/Team setup? Power user rights? Something else?

We do primarily partner and end customer training, but we have a fair number of universities who integrate our courses into their curricula. We have tried to use the Manager/Team functionality to let professors assign courses and track their students’ progress. Unfortunately, they are NOT fans of this solution. They were a bit turned off because it is very clearly designed for managers. Besides that, they had two main complaints:1. They can’t group their students by class (they just appear in a bit lump on the dashboard)2. They can’t assign due dates for courses. Is there something very obvious I’m missing about the “My Team” functionality that could make the experience better? Otherwise, I’m considering setting up Power User profiles for the professors, but am afraid that might lead me to an administrative nightmare. Anyone have has success implementing something similar? All ideas are welcome! I’m totally at a loss.

vILT - Not for display in the U

I have no idea how to word the title of this question. I blame it on Friday!We have the use case where vILT sessions will be specific to a customer and not open for everyone else in the U.Example:Customer purchases our software. We do Admin training on our product (not suitable for the U). This training is specific to that customer, and we want only that customers administrators to attend.  I do not want that course to show up in any catalog nor be open for enrollment. I will manually assign the users to the course/sessions/eventsWe could simply use MS Teams and not go through the U, but for various reasons we want them to go through the U to accomplish this training. Is this the best way to go about it? Create the course, sessions/events and then manually assign the users or…Do you all have any better suggestions on how to handle this type of training?I hope this makes sense :)

Best practices: Creating a learning journey (path / collection of learning plans in order)

Currently I am putting these in catalogs each with their own page and own catalog. Is there a less messy way to do this without all the catalogs? If not that’s fine I only have 10 or so. I’m using @lrnlab’s spectacular hidden pages hack to hide these pages from the menu but make them accessible to users via deeplinking. Also having them not be in reverse order would be great. Is there a way to do this other than creating them in reverse order to reverse the reversal? Again not a big deal. Trying to replicate the following from our old LMS

Assigning a badge to those who comment on an asset in Coach & Share (Discover)?

Hello,We are trying to engage with our learners in new ways this year, and we want to promote and drive the “sharing” aspect of Coach & Share. We’ve been trying to assign a badge to those who comment underneath an asset, but the only option I see in the drop down list for badges is for those who specifically “ask a question.”Reporting-wise, “questions” and “comments were often lumped together, so I thought maybe this would be similar here. But it doesn’t seem to be. Does anyone know of a way to assign a badge to those who comment without having to do it manually?Thank you! :)

Test - Tracking Mode

Hello all. When we create a survey, we can select a “Tracking Mode”, local tracking or shared tracking. But does not have this configuration when we create a Test.We need to create a Test, but the same test will be apply to many courses (more than 100), and we need a local tracking for each one.And does not have a option to “duplicate” a Test object.Have any of you been through a similar situation? how did you solve it?Thank you.

Do You Need To Manually Mark a Training Material? --> Here's How

Ugh - So for whatever reason - a learner contacts you to say that they finished a training material but it was never marked as complete and they want to know if you can help because they cannot progress until that item is complete.Hopefully this is useful for someone in this situation.Begin by navigating to the course in question and hitting the enrollment tab and do a search for the learner. At the end of the row for that learner are three dots that will only appear when you hover over them. Click on these three dots to reveal a little pop up menu. Select User Stats. Next, find the offending training material and click on the status icon for it. In the little pop-up that appears, choose the appropriate status from the dropdown. Click the red checkmark to submit the change. You should see the change. Of course, now you need to dig deeper to find out why items are not being marked complete as they are supposed to.Hopefully this helps someone today!

Hello.I want to create an application via API to update the course completion date.On the home page, I will create box with a link to access this application.Is there a possibility for the user to connect to this application via SSO? In other words, through Docebo's LMS credentials, be able to connect to this external application.Does anyone have a similar experience?Thank you.
