Solved

My apologies if this has been asked already - I didn’t notice a thread for it - or maybe I didn’t use the right search terms.Anyway… We would like to have courses for sale to external customers that need to be free for employees. How are you all handling this?I was thinking there should be a way to set different prices for different groups and perhaps I simply overlooked a checkbox right in front of me.Are you giving coupons to them for full discount? Creating duplicates of the course with different prices and making them visible to different groups? Enrollment links?

I currently have a webhook that fires every time a learner completes a course. I want to be able to retrieve the scores for scorable learning objects (LO’s) whenever a course is completed.  In the API browser, if you navigate to Learn (drop down) and then Tests, you'll see there's one option called "Get completed or not completed "test" Learning Objects" where you can put in a course and/or user and other optional parameters, but this returns nothing for me.Does this endpoint work for anyone for retrieving test scores? Is there a different API endpoint that will give me what I’m looking for?Docebo advertises that you can do anything through the API that you can do through the UI, but I’m stumped on how to get this to work.

Hello,Is it possible to remove this message that appears at the top of ILTs?  We only have one event scheduled for each ILT so this message is not necessary.  I am aware that I can change the phrasing in the Localization Tool but I would like to remove the notification completely. As always any advice or tips are appreciated!

Hi all,Random question and not sure exactly how to word it, BUT…I remember attending a Docebo webinar last year and they demonstrated the use of what I would call flip card  widgets (you hovered over an image and it flipped over).  I think it was something to do with airlines. They sent out the HTML/CSS code, but I cannot find it anywhere.Does anyone else know what I am talking about?  If so, do you have that email/code?Thanks :)

If you update a lot of courses back to back from the course manager, the catalogs page begins to update with details from other courses that you aren’t looking at. So you update course A, then go to course B. When you enter in the catalogs you want. It shows the details from course A, inside of course B. Even to the extent that if you delete a catalog from course B. It will actually delete the catalog from course A. I was able to identify this pretty quickly, but I can see this causing a lot of problems for some users. Is this a known issue? If not can we get it added to a fix list? Running Updated Chrome, and windows.

I want to make sure that I am following something before I trigger a bunch of course equivalents.Lets say I have 2 courses. Both Course A and B have the same training material (not a copy). If a person completes the training material in A - are they already done with training material in B?Another way of saying the same thing….If meeting the completion criteria of a training material drives the completion of Course A, will a person being done with training material in Course A mark that training material in B as completed and ergo mark B as completed as well?

How do we indicate that there is a fee associated with the ILT for some users when billing is handled outside of the platform? For the most part, our internal employees are aware that they can join virtual ILTs for free but we want paying users to know that when they get to the ILT part of their learning plan and they try to enroll in a session, there will likely be a fee associated with the session. It would be tacky to put “FEE MAY APPLY” in the course name but if we put it in the course description, the user probably won’t even see that when they are requesting enrollment into a session. Here’s background for more clarity….we have virtual ILTs that serve three target audiences: Internal employees (who do not pay to join a virtual ILT session) Customers (who must pay to join a virtual ILT session) Partners (some pay and some don’t due to contractual arrangements)Historically, ILTs were managed entirely outside of docebo. We collected rosters and manually emailed  the enrollees Zoom l

Total noob question here, and I can’t find documentation anywhere that defines it. What is the different between having a Learning Plan status of enrolled vs. subscribed?

I want to create a power User that will be responsible for all User creation and assignment in their branch. Is it possible to set the new user created to need to be approved by me before that user can access/do anything on the system? And then set a notification to tell me that they are there awaiting approval?

Does anyone know if there is a way to Edit a Screencast/video created via the Video Recorder in Docebo, once it has been published to a course or the Central Repository? I see that the settings can be edited or subtitles can be added once the video is recorded, but I do not see anywhere that the published video can be revised or the MP4 file can be exported.Any help would be appreciated!

Hey everyone! During the Inspire Conference once of the demo pages showed a display I really loved. I’m interested in recreating it but I have NO clue how! Does anyone have any idea what widget or how the Quick Links section of this page was created? I have topics, pages and icons to use, but can’t figure out how to get this layout. Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide me!@Adam Ballhaussen @Callie Borovilos any chance you recognize the screenshot and could connect me with the employee who used this as their demo page?

I know that ILT sessions can be imported but surprised I’m not seeing anywhere to import elearning courses? Use Case:I have approximately 60 session recordings (from a customer conference) that I need to publish to our LMS as courses. We prefer to wrap each in a course to get better reporting (i.e., who, when, status vs simply # of clicks that Coach and Share channel asset reporting provides). I have a csv file containing each ‘course’ name and description, and an mp4 file for each. I know this can be done via API but was wondering if there is a simple csv import for creating the course shells I could use?

We’re trying to release our first custom page associated with a Performance Program that we’ve released company-wide. I’ve added the page to the 4 menus that have been customized for employees in different areas of the company. It seems to be working for 3 of the menus, but on the 4th - which goes to MOST of our employees, we’re experiencing the following:User clicks a direct link (we plan to use this in an email) User is logged in via SSO and the custom page shows briefly, and then bounces to a 403 error User clicks their home page link in the breadcrumb trail, and the custom page displays This is associated with a breadcrumb trail that now lists the home page twice (My Learning Home > My Learning Home) - it’s not supposed to, so this is odd, and the custom page has taken on the title and subtitle of the home page. User clicks the home page in the menu, and the custom page displaysI’ve even completely recreated the menu in case there was some corruption, and the problem remains. An

Lots of external articles and videos that the AI is pulling is not useful to us.   Instead of looking everyday to find and manually add the ones we don’t want is there a list I can find or add to so I can have greater control over the content it is showing the users.

I have some instructors who have added some files to a file repository widget and have also added a course description widget to a course. They would like the ability to make edits to these fields, but I cannot find a way to allow them to do that without making them super admin. Is there any way around this? Seems like something they should have the ability to do.

In the Manager User Guide, it says that if there is an error when enrolling users to content, a warning message will display and to click the View Logs Link then click the View Logs Button. (See below)“Press Confirm to complete the action. In case of errors, a warning message will be shown at the bottom of the My Team page, with a link to the enrollment log file. Click on the View Logs link, a right panel will open listing the courses where the enrollment ended with errors.”The warning message does not contain any links; it just says to click the View Logs button. Where is the View Logs button?

I find myself having to run basically the same report over and over with different courses or groups of courses. Is there a way to save a custom report so that it can be easily rerun with only having to select courses, carrying the same parameters over? If not, there should be! This would simplify our process a lot and allow for people less familiar with the platform to run a premade custom report.

Hi Everyone,Just wondering how people are handling when a learner fails a SCORM course and how you notify the learner. (as I don’t think it is clear from a learner view as they stay ‘In Progress’.We are playing about with the idea of changing the learner status from ‘in progress’ to ‘suspended’ but can’t see how we can send them a notification to advise they have failed.  Would like this to be automated - so changing status we can do this through the API, but can’t see the best way to notify learners. Thanks Ant

Our facility is a full scale manufacturing facility. We have quite a few e-learning courses that our users take and a few ILT courses, but we are having a hard time finding a good solution for our OJT form. The OJTs are generally hands-on learning elements for machine usage and safety. We have a form that has been approved by the FAA and would like to capture this information in the LMS without having to make everything an external training. What solutions am I missing that would help us accomplish this?

I am new to Docebo and have a question … I’m sure this is a super quick and easy fix.We offer our clients a ton of downloadable resources for them to use in their businesses.  I want to create a “Quick Resources” link on the homepage so clients can access downloadable files in one place vs having to search for the course and go to the linked File Repository. What is the best way to do this? The “less clean” way seems to be to create a LP with multiple courses, but the courses only contain the downloads.  Thanks for your input!

We have installed a front page using WordPress to help sell our courses. We’d like to link to the Register button, but obviously this is a bit of difficulty as the registration form is lightbox like display.I know that we can use the WordPress plug to create users and push them Docebo, but at the moment we’re not prepared to do this. Any ideas on how we can link to the form and bypass it being embedded on the Frontpage.

Hello,Is there a way to hide the “Start Learning Now” button on the course player once they have begun their course? Having both buttons is very confusing for our users and hiding it would help with the number of help tickets we receive from users thinking their course wasn’t saved because the “Start Learning Now” button brought them back to the beginning of the course. Any advice is appreciated!

Besides looking in each folder and sub-folder, is there a way to identify the directory a specific piece of content resides in the Central Repository?

I’m trying to move learners from one LP to another. The target LP is a new “generation” of the LP, and I need everyone who in incomplete in the source LP to get assigned to the target LP. I’m trying to do this with groups and enrollment rules, but nothing is happening. I have the enrollment rule configured as groups/learning plan.I have enabled the enrollment rule before assigning the groups. Thanks for any help.

We got so deep into working with the Custom Report builder to find out….that because we are not on an enterprise plan? We cant run a scheduled report? I am sorry folks - the UI seems horribly deficient in this case. I only figured this point out by hitting my head against the wall and trying to schedule over and over again to find out that it is not me or the UI, but then I went to go read about why I kept on getting an error to finally surmise our level of licensing does not match the function? Something should be done here…tell us right on the page that this option is not available to us - dont allow us to try something to find out it wont work until we read up about it or go onto DU - this needs to seriously change. And then? There are suggestions to migrate our reports that can be scheduled...to the new custom reports builder?…ha!Sorry - has anyone else learned this one the hard way as well? Is it only me?Seriously bummed...someone tell me that I am doing something wrong with this.
