Happy New Year, everyone!Our company is currently in the process of selecting a new HRIS, and we are looking to move away from SFTP toward a more automated API-driven approach. As part of this transition, we are evaluating Docebo Connect to bridge the gap.I’m relatively new to the technical side of APIs, but I am working on building a business case for Connect. I’d love to hear from those of you currently using it.How has your experience been with "recipes" and maintaining the sync? Are there things you wish you knew before implementing? For those who chose Connect over a standard custom API build, what was the deciding factor for your business case? What are you using Connect for? Was it worth it?Our potential use cases:Bidirectional HRIS Sync: Automating user creation & profile updates and potentially sending completion data back to the HRIS.

There has been feedback from virtual training participants that they would like the opportunity to purchase a physical training manual when they are completing virtual instructor led training.Currently the manuals are provided electronically as part of the pre-work materials when a participant signs up to a virtual instructor led training session.Is anyone aware of a way within Docebo to provide the opportunity to purchase physical manuals to send to customers ahead of the training session?Thanks!

Hello!My company has this year looked into monitoring how much time, each month, is being spent by users in our platform. Identifying just who has logged on isn’t much of an issue, but we need to figure out how much time, total, our users are spending interacting with training materials in order to provide better optics on the ROI over our old training site. What we have done thus far is not providing accurate results, however, and I am hoping one of you kind folks might have a better idea of where and how we can get this information! What we are doing now:Currently we are utilizing the Users - Courses report to pull data, with the following filter:• Enrollment Date [After / Absolute]- 11/3/2023• Usage Statistics - Training Material Time (sec)While this will reflect accurately all users who were enrolled after this date it will not reflect users who have passed the course or even briefly touched the

We’re going to be generating accounts, and we want a “one button” or “one link” log-in option for those folks - like an SSO button, something where they can just click and get in (no password). I’ve looked into trying to do magic links (it looks like Docebo doesn’t offer that option) and I believe SSO wouldn’t work. Understand if this isn’t possible, but is there a way to do this?Example: User has account automatically generated. They can get in without entering a password, just by clicking a button or link.Thank you for any help in advance!

Hi All, wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can shed some light on it. Sometimes, when we assign an instructor to a session via the VILT MS Teams integration,  that the session will appear 2 times on the instructors calendar. We do not use shared caledars, each instructor has the session set to thier own account. We cannot pinpoint why or when this happens. When it does happen each teams event has a different meeting ID. To Resolve we have to have the instructor delete the events from their calendar manually, then we remove their account from the assignment of the session, save and then readd it, and the session will go back with just 1 event in the calendar. Help. It is very annoying. 

When looking at the course cards at the course catalog, I’d like to add a border around the image/thumbnail on the course cards. Another important aspect, is that the colour of the border depends on of it is an ILT class or e-learning. Lets say the border around E-learning cards are red and the ILT ones blue. Currently, we have annual certifications in place. We want to move away from certifications and instead move to a monthly rollout of our mandatory courses after onboarding.Most importantly, we do not want to lose historic results, and we would like the monthly rollout to be automated. Previously, we needed to push enrolments through enrolment rules—can this now also be automated? Any advice on what steps we should be taking?

Hello,How do I see the average actual time for users to complete a course? I’d like to update the estimates based on timelines from completions once a certain percentage of users finish the course. Ideally I’d like this for learning plans as well.Thanks!

Hi Everyone, we have noticed that our power users are experiencing quite a drastic delay when they are in user personal summary and external actives - has anyone else been experiencing this or know why this could be happening?

I’m looking to use badges and points in Docebo for things that are not really trackable, and you can earn the badge with a single click.For example, you have a professional development conversation, and you earn 10 points. This is something outside of the system and fully self-reported, so my ideal situation is you do one click inside Docebo and get the badge.Is there any way to do something like that?

If a coupon is set for a specific amount of money, say $200, what happens with the residual amount if the user applies it to a course that is only $100?

They have some reservations about the way the data is moved in and out of the the portal from O365. I was wondering if there were any colleagues from other Universities on here that have used the integration and would be happy to have a chat about how it’s worked for you?Thanks in advance!

We have a monthly “toolkit” that we share with specific members. These toolkits include: Newsletter (PDF), How-to-guide, customizable template (link or PDF), and occasionally one more document. So far we have separated the pieces into a separate channel and put all of the pieces for each month into a course. However, having everything in a course makes annoying to go back to different pieces because everything is already marked as complete. Does anyone have a creative solution for something like this?

What is your experience of setting a SCORM LO to view “one time only”? My experience is that users frequently lock themselves out of this LO and need it resetting because they somehow manage to lock the LO before reaching the criteria for completion which means their results are not logged. I’d like to determine if this is a problem with the LO setting, with Docebo, with my SCORM package or user error.Context:SCORM LO is a timed test (the timer is javascript in the course rather than any native function of Docebo) Results are reported to the LMS when a learner clicks “submit” at the end of the test or when the timer reaches 0 Completion is tracked using the results slide The LO is set to view “one time only”I’d say at least 10% of users lock themselves out of this SCORM LO, I have to reset the test and they try again. What could I test/change to establish the cause of these frequent lock-outs?

Hi,we are using the channel widget on our Dashboard and we would like to hide the completed courses from the widget, so that they only see courses that they have started or need to start..I tried to do this with CSS but then I have an empty spot on the list I used the following CSS Code:#doc-page-97 .ui-card-status-done {display: none !important;}We do not use the “Courses and Learning plan” widget, because we have multiple content categories and the “Courses and Learning plan” widget shows all assigned courses (so can’t be divided into categories).Does anybody have an idea how we can hide completed courses from the channel widget?

Creator does not offer a lot interactive options. We would like to know if it’s possible to code an activity and added to the lesson. Similar to Code block in Articulate Rise. Or if I have a coded Simulation game, is there a way to add to the course a “training material” ? Thank you very much. 

I have a creator lesson with a AI presenter Video in it. when I translated the lesson to other languages, the video is not translated.  Then basically the translations can not be used. Is there a way to show subtitle in other language? Or any suggestions to solve this challenge? 

I am an absolute PA novice, but Docebo helped me out with instructions in creating a flow to automatically generate coupon codes for eCommerce.  For the Parse JSON actions, I know you fill in the Content field with the “body” output from the previous action (for example, the HTTP action to get a token).  However, even if the token changes, which obviously it will when running the flow again after it expires, the Parse JSON action keeps using the same access_token value in the Content field which obviously causes the rest of the flow to fail.Am I doing something wrong in PA in the Content field to make it dynamic instead of using the same constant value?  I thought the whole point of the Content field was to provide an example of input, not use those exact values, and the Schema field tells the action how to parse the input and extract values from the input.I feel like I’m missing something very basic here.

Following some system update earlier this month, we’ve found that scheduled reports delivered to Power Users via email do not contain all the data for users they manage. This occurs if a Super Admin assigns users to a branch that a Power User manages and the Power User hasn’t logged into the system since the users were assigned to the branch.Docebo support say this is now expected behavior, and Power Users must log in in order for any changes to be reflected in their scheduled reports. They aren’t clear which update caused this change in functionality.This causes big problems for us as many of our Power Users rarely log in the system but rely on scheduled reports to oversee training progress. We’ve been using Docebo for about 4 years in this way.Is anybody else running into this problem?
