In doing some testing, I realize that if we have a learner that gets access to a URL (not auto enrollment link, just the learning plan URL) and they are not logged in, they get directed to the homepage. It drops the URL they came in on, and it doesn’t take them to the content that they were trying to access to begin with. I don’t feel like the system used to work this way. Here’s the flow - Learner clicks on a Docebo link Learner realizes they are not logged in Learner clicks SSO button Learner gets logged in Learner is directed to landing page Learner has to go back and try to dig out the URL they were provided and hope they get to the education they intended to take to begin withSo far this behavior happens consistently with: Courses Learning PlansDoes not drop: Catalog URLs Page URLsLearners are already frustrated they have to relog in since th

As a newcomer to Docebo, I apologize if this is a simple question.Our users who work with ABC are assigned ABC training. This required training has a deadline when it must be completed.Users who don't work with ABC can also self-register for ABC training. Unfortunately, the self-registered training is still assigned a deadline and the user appears on overdue reports if they don't finish it by the required date.Would you kindly share how you differentiate between required and optional training within Docebo when it's the same course but different users?We'd like to avoid penalizing users who are proactively seeking additional knowledge.Thank you very much for your help!

I’m wanting to create a nice, clean UI for our LMS and, with some code (and from the help of others on here), can get an image of my choosing as a background or in the header bar already. To do this today, I am having to really fudge things in the system in order to get my images onto the Docebo CDN to be called by the code. The only way I can do this today, is to create image widgets on a hidden page and sniff out the stored file location once uploaded  - not elegant at all. For the life of me, I cannot seem to find an asset repository where I can upload and store a few images for use in my HTML and CSS code around the platform.Any idea folks?All help much appreciated. 

I’m still getting familiar with Docebo, so bear with me. I’m working on setting up ILT (Instructor-Led Training) in Docebo for all our safety trainings.Each month, we have a new safety topic that lasts about 30 minutes. There will be multiple sessions of the same topic spread out over a few days, and employees only need to attend one session. All employees are already set up in Docebo.I created the course in Course Management as an ILT.My question is about SESSIONS:Are sessions intended for each individual training session? When I click into a session's properties, I see EVENTS. It feels repetitive to keep entering the same information when setting up events for ILT.What’s the difference between sessions and events? Are sessions meant for the training as a whole, and events for when a single session has multiple parts?

Hey Docebo superstars. I don’t think this has been raised previously as I couldn’t find any solutions anywhere, but we have a  couple of problems with the not logged in redirect behaviour. Like most (I believe) organisations, we’re using sso for our customers to move seamlessly from our customer portal to the learning platform. We launch in two weeks and our understanding until today was that we could configure a ‘Redirect user on logout’ url in the advanced settings that would send users to our member portal login page any time they a) clicked a link to a Docebo page when they were not already signed in to the lms or b) their session timed out. We just discovered the “only works when sso is not enabled” caveat, so now we can’t use any links to Docebo pages from outside the platform, and more importantly, any time a user’s session times out they’re going to encounter a foreign login page requesting a password they don’t have and won’t understand - enter frustrated customer and helpd

Hi Everyone, We are looking into ways to clean up any outdated courses that are currently published. We heard at the Inspire conference in Rome, a user has set up some sort of rule to automatically un-publish a course when it hasn’t been used or may be outdated. I am unable to recall the name of the session, but if anyone can instruct me on how/if this is possible I would appreciate it! Or if you have other methods of doing a deep clean, we are open to any recommendations!  

Yesterday I opened the notification panel (bell icon) on saw an updated screen with new ooptions, etc. Today, the bell is gone and I have no access to any on-screen notifications...opened a ticket but was wondering if anyone else has seen this on their instance? Do not have any CSS to hide that and I did see it a day agovs our production site: 

Not sure if anyone has encountered this or is aware but there is a huge gap in ILT tracking…Case:User was booked in a session on Apr 24 they did not attend and the instructor marked them as Absent Admin mistakenly marked them as Completed on the course User was able to change session after being marked as completed although we do not allow users to unenroll from a completed courseNow the reports and user transcript riot are showing incorrect dates and the user was awarded a certification when in fact they did nato complete the program. I opened a ticket with support but thought it would be interesting to see if anyone has experienced this and what you have done to mitigate this risk.Docebo needs to put in some better connections between course statuses and session statuses...today there is no relationship between the two which is the big issue...

is there a feature where managers could easily reassign content. We have a few lessons users like revisit, and sometimes need to be reenrolled in. Currently, if a manager attempts to assign a lesson that’s already been taken through My Team page, the lesson is just locked.

I am looking for some assistance please. I am trying to hide the Content Partner block that is displayed in a course. And I can not figure out the CSS to hide. Can anyone provide guidance, please? 

The attributes can be helpful, many threads point out some shortcomings which are helpful.  I don’t see anything related to CSS formatting of the attributes on the content card.  Regardless of the attribute its just small grey font.  It doesn’t stick out.  It would be nice to color code/format the attributes so they stand out and don’t get overlooked.  Any CSS pro’s out there know if this is possible?

Hello, I’m a new LMS Admin/ID implementing Docebo. I’d like to have some active forums for members. It looks like forums in Docebo always live within a course widget, and are course-specific. Is it possible to have general forums outside of a class? I suppose I could create a few classes with next to no content and put them in a “Forums” folder with different topics, but this is pretty inelegant.  I’d also like to have forums linked to multiple classes. For example, all the sales classes could be linked to a “sales tips” forum. All the leadership classes could be linked to a “leadership discussion” forum. I’d like to do this inside Docebo.

Several issues with different degree of importance, but still interesting to find out how others have solved similar issues. The issues will be numbered to make responding to them easier. We use certifications to keep track of when/if courses need to be taken again. We also want to use Learning plans to enroll users into all mandatory courses. The problem is; if the user has an active certification that has been granted based on uploaded documentation through “External training”, this does not stop the user from being enrolled to a course with the same certification connected. HiI’m trying to create a notification for users to see which courses they have yet to complete. There are only five courses to complete. I would like it to have images of the courses and say either complete incomplete. I am currently trying to create a recipe in connect that will update existing profiles in Docebo if any personal information changes such as work site location, job title, or usernames. We have a report from our HRIS that has all of this information and steps 1-11 of the recipe pull in that information and stores the data in a variable list. For steps 12-15 I am trying to pull the userId from all of the existing Docebo profiles and an additional field that has our own internal employee number. I then want to store this information in a new variable list. However, I am running into two issues. The first issue is for step 13/14 I have a for each loop to pull the userId and additional field but when I run the code it is only pulling one person and putting it in the new list. I am confused as to why this is happening because step 12 correctly pulls all of the existing Docebo profiles. The second issue that I need help resolving is how to append the Docebo ID list to the HRIS data list w

Hi, I am currently working on designing the Landing Page for my company’s LMS. I have read through some Community Posts and Knowledge Base articles about best practices and what others are doing in their LMS. I’m a visual person and I would like to see what others’ Landing Pages look like to spark some ideas - something like a Pinterest board. (Obviously I am not planning to copy & paste anyone’s)Would anyone mind sharing what their LMS looks like and maybe a few sentences/bullet points explaining the thought process behind it? There are a few chats and ideas about making uploaded documents work differently, which I 100% agree should happen, but for those folks who have been able to have a seperate upload space and then use iframes to bring the document or link out to them, I wanted to writeup how I use PDF.JS to achieve this and not require programming knowledge.Why bother with this over a simple link or iframe direct the document?The main benefit is control. If you link out, this moves the user from where they were which can be confusing. If you just iframe the document in directly, it may work for you, but you are leaving the PDF display to the user’s browser and device. Hi Docebo Community, The team here at Southwestern Consulting would like to make some customizations to the My Profile widget, and I spent time searching the boards and did not see any answers or this question asked previously. Any pro tips are greatly appreciated from your friend in Nashville 😁 Use case:On the My Profile widget, we would like to show more than one line of text for some of the User Additional Fields that are displayed on the widget. For example, we have a field “My Coaching Goals” where a client’s various goals would be listed. this is a Text Area field (up to 65,000 characters) for example, my goals are listed in this field as : “Run a 26 mile marathon, grow my team, be a leader” BUT - on the widget currently, the widget displays just “Run a 26 mile maratho...” A few other fields we would like to display additional rows of text

Along with the new Honorlock integration, is there now a learner-friendly way to set the time allowed on a test to less than 24 hours? There is an option to set the time in increments of 1 hour at the test level, but for it to be enforced, you also have to check the option that locks the user out of the test forever if they accidentally close the tab. If you do not check this option, the user can pause the timer whenever they want by closing the test. The only way to get a timer that persists regardless of the test being open or closed is to set the duration at the course level, which has a minimum time of 1 day.Honorlock sounds like it might be useful, but I’m not sure how it would play with the gap in timing functionality.
