I’m new to creating Docebo recipes, and I have hit a roadblock in trying to make an API call to Docobo within a recipe. I am updating a cloned recipe, and in it, it has an existing API call using the Docebo Learn connector (blue circle with a white “L” icon). When I click on the existing API step, it has the fields Action Name, Method, Path, Response that I am used to seeing. When I try to add a new one, it just asks me for the id, but never displays the other fields like the existing one. Is this some type of permission issue, or am I not seeing some type of configuration setting?

I am an absolute PA novice, but Docebo helped me out with instructions in creating a flow to automatically generate coupon codes for eCommerce.  For the Parse JSON actions, I know you fill in the Content field with the “body” output from the previous action (for example, the HTTP action to get a token).  However, even if the token changes, which obviously it will when running the flow again after it expires, the Parse JSON action keeps using the same access_token value in the Content field which obviously causes the rest of the flow to fail.Am I doing something wrong in PA in the Content field to make it dynamic instead of using the same constant value?  I thought the whole point of the Content field was to provide an example of input, not use those exact values, and the Schema field tells the action how to parse the input and extract values from the input.I feel like I’m missing something very basic here.

I am pulling Docebo data into a lakehouse, we need to be able to slice for Catalog contents as each course is assigned to at least one catalog. Looking at the API list for CatalogContent and Catalogue, I am unable to see how this can be done. What we are doing is, replacing an excel based manual process which currently is taking a list of completed courses, and doing a VLOOKUP from a hand formed table of what course is associated to which catalogs to build a helper column with the catalog name in it.  Then slicing for number of completions per catalog. What am I missing in the API List??!!

Hi! I was wondering if anyone else has been successful using a session creation webhook to generate events for the session automatically. Also, if anyone has successfully used the Create event in Docebo action in app, that would be helpful too!

Has anyone implemented the Honorlock integration since it launched in 2024? How’s it working for you?

Hi, Not sure if anyone has ever tried to use the Outdoo.ai platform for call simulation training and integrated it with Docebo. We are able to upload a course scorm package from Outdoo successfully, but when we run the course, a pop up occurs saying “Access Denied. You do not have access to this course. Please contact your administrator.” My question is if anyone has successfully set this up or not and wondering if this is a Docebo issue or an Outdoo issue. I’m thinking it’s Outdoo. Thoughts? 

Authenticated as a regular user, I want to get all the courses I have enrolled in and they should include the enrollment status as well.The only alternatives I’ve found are:Using /report/v1/mytranscript (GET). However, for some reason, it excludes courses that are of status “waiting”. Using the unofficial /loki/widget/v1/courses/{user ID} (GET) which is used in the Docebo UI. Is this safe?I know of /course/v1/courses/enrollments (GET), however, this cannot be called by a regular user (it leads to permission denied). This leaves us with no official, fully working, option that I know of.Any help appreciated.

Hi,We have MS Teams working with Docebo, however, right now all participants, including instructors are joining as “learners”.In the documentation about MS Teams integration, there is a bullet in the Important Notes section at the end, which I’m having a hard time to understand:In order for a Docebo user to join a webinar as an instructor in Microsoft Teams, the account must be paired to an individual account in Azure. The Instructor of the session will be defined by the Azure-based Microsoft Teams account and the Microsoft Teams account created in Docebo will be used to launch the session.Can someone please explain this in plain English?What are the steps to have a person who is a course instructor join the Teams webinar or event with the right privileges?

Authenticated as a regular user, I would like to get all the user’s transactions, with course reference included (course ID).The endpoint /ecommerce/v1/transaction can be called by regular users, but it doesn’t include a reference to the course in question. On the other hand, /ecommerce/v1/transaction/list does include a course reference; however, it only works for elevated users.Any guidance appreciated.

Hello Docebo experts :)I am having an issue with using the API to set occupation and skills for multiple users and would really appreciate your help. I don’t understand what the “canonical” variables stand for and where I can obtain them from. Here is my attempt, which sadly resulted in an error. Can anyone please suggest what the filter body should be like when you are using the API Browser to call List Subscription Records api (GET/learn/v1/sub_record)?I want use the filters and only return specific “sold_to” records?The sample shows this, but I can’t figure out how to format or provide a value for “sold_to” and what goes in the “filters” box.serialize object containing list of filters and their options. Hi there,I was wondering if it’s possible to integrate Docebo Learn with WeChat app? Has this been done before?

My team’s use case is providing training for external customers. We’re looking to use a 3rd party vendor (Coveo) to index and combine all of the different resources we have within the company (training, knowledgebases, community posts, etc.) Does anyone else have experience with this- good or bad? We heard we need to use the Coveo Generic REST API connector to index the content in the LMS so it can be a content source. Any thoughts out there?

I've been checking the Docebo API documentation and I can't find how to do it. I don't know if it's part of Reports, Users, or Enrollments.Basically, I want to enter the user's Id and get that user's entire transcript.This is urgent, any help would be appreciated.

How to add apps in the Admin Menu? I can activate or deactivate the app but I am not able to add them to the admin menu like API & SSO app!- 

I need to interact with docebo lrs using Oauth2 token. I generate an access token using client_credentials grant type but when I use that to access LRS. It’s showing me 401 unauthorized access

Hello All,I am looking for practical cases of people who have experienced the creation of courses with xAPI content (TinCan) via URL.We connected the content of one of our vendors via an xAPI URL, our learners go through our docebo platform to access the platform of our vendors via a course that we have set up with TMs and each TM represents a module in the platform of the vendor (25 TM).The problem is that when the learner completes the course it is marked as completed in the platform of the vendors but not in our Docebo platform, it always appears in progress.The link to our vendor's platform is correctly iframed in the advanced settings.We have created an application in our docebo platform from which we have retrieved the client id and the client secret in the parameters of our vendor's platform.Here is how we set up each TM: And here we added the application that we created: Any advice on the subject, maybe we missed a parameter, I would be delighted to have your feedback. Hi!We’re currently looking for ideas on what can be fairly easily automated in Docebo, so I wanted to start a discussion - aside from the standard enrollments, notifications, and user-creation, what are you automating in your LMS and how?Currently, we’re thinking about using API to automate some of the following:Archiving course progress on an annual basis (in a few of our courses) Enrolling users, e.g. managers to Sick Leave Management training based on whether their team members have many absences Enrolling users, e.g. based on whether they have team members in a specific country Automatically approving Reward Requests and sending out emails depending on the reward Automatically declining Reward Requests if a user requested it too many times (e.g. we have a reward for an Additional Day Off that’s limited to 2 per year and currently, it requires checking this manually)What are some of your ideas?Are you using the Automation feature?Any ideas for using API for automating things?Anythin
