Hello LMS Admins, we want to automatically mark eCommerce transactions paid so that a confirmation enrollment session notifications is sent to people who enroll in a class.We do not accept credit cards at this time, so we manually every hour, check the eCommerce transactions and mark them paid. We would like to automate this with webhooks, if possible.We recently purchased Docebo Connect. Any advice or recipes would be greatly appreciated. 

I am using this very helpful post to create/poll/download a report via API:Report Listing API | Community (docebo.com)It’s working perfectly, except that Docebo is sending me an email saying that my report is ready… How can I turn this notification off? This is a report that will be downloaded via a script and dumped into a database, so I don’t want or need a notification that the report is “ready” because my script polls for completion and then downloads it, cracks open the zip, cracks open the csv, and dumps the data to a DB when the report is ready.I already checked the Notifications page in the Admin Settings - there is no event that seems like it has anything to do with “notify me when the report I asked for is ready” type of thing.Anyone have any ideas? I can’t seem to find anywhere else - the report definition, my personal account, nothing - that has any setting for notifications… 

Hello!Last week when I was testing the API via Postman, I was able to see Course Additional Fields by simply calling the main Courses API (/learn/v1/courses). They would come across as “field_1” and “field_2” but that was fine - I deciphered what the values were and that’s all I need. Today when I am calling the same API, those fields are not being returned now… Does anyone else have the same experience? I’m new to Docebo, so I’m wondering if I inadvertently did something in our account to make these fields not show up? I’m a superadmin, so it can’t be my level of access. TIA for any advice!

My IT team is working with an API and they’re finding that they can access it when running it at 5 am Eastern, but not at 3:15 am Eastern. Is there a refresh period or something else that might be responsible for this, if indeed it is a time-based issue? 

My organization is trying to use the Salesforce app to push data from Docebo to Salesforce. I know it is supposed to work the other way around, but this is a specific use case. My question is whether it is possible to sync courses and enrollments only without the user push from SFDC to Docebo (assuming users have identical IDs in both). When we try to turn off the users and leave the other two categories “on” we get a 500 or other sync errors.Also, I am trying to find the log file of the actual data that is being pushed back and forth from SFDC to Docebo and synced from Docebo to SFDC. What type of file is this and where can I find it? I thought maybe it would be a JSON file in the log, but all of those that I can see only say “null” for content.

We use Allbound to work with our partners.  The partner team would like to integrate our certification and course completion data with that platform.Allbound wants us to give them access to our API’s to implement that.  I have some concerns about giving API access to an external party.  Are their privacy or security risks I should consider? Are there maintenance considerations?What’s the risk of an endpoint they are using being deprecated and a reconfiguration being needed.  Anything else I should be thinking about?I am a neophyte when it comes to APIs.  I have set up a postman account and have set up a few internally but that’s about it.Thanks for any thoughts you have that can inform my decision on approach.

So recently we had an ILT with 11 events require a small update to something on the backend (changing the attendance requirement to be 9/11 events instead of 11/11) and all our learners got a flood of new invites from Docebo.  This is obviously not ideal as we’ll likely need to make small changes like this every now and then. The ILT was “under maintenance” when these changes were made and yet the invites still went out. Any thoughts on the issue here?

We need to use course additional fields to store information to send to an external server.  We are using Free Form Text, due to the character limit of the Text Field.  However that type always defaults to HTML, and we need to send plain text.  At the moment we have to paste our text in and then switch to code view and remove the <p> tags.  Is there anyway to get this field to default to plain text?Thanks

Trying to get a calendar invite for our instructors in Docebo. Currently, instructors are adding themselves as a participant to the learner so they can get the outlook calendar invite. Anyone know what steps I can take to add a recipe to my connector that will send calendar invites to the instructors?   

Hello, team,Context: I am our LMS admin; I am familiar with reading APIs, but I have not written. I have internal experts for the API writing, but they’re not experts in Docebo. Trying to find the info needed through (hopefully) one of you experts who is both knowledgeable in the API and Docebo.We have new reporting requirements that indicate we must know how much time our employees have spent in training. For Docebo’s sake, that time is measured in two places: time spent in an eLearning course and time spent in an ILT session.Time spent in an eLearning course is fairly easy. I know that this data is not accurate, as users can leave their instance running in the background to rack up time, but it’s the only value I have and can use. We found this endpoint: GET/learn/v1/enrollments/{id_course}/{id_user} It returns the value we need, but does anyone have any other suggestions? Time spent in an ILT seems to be nonexistent. I have a course allocation form from the user that programmatically needs to check if the user already exists in the learning plan or course. Based on what was asked for, I will add or remove them from the LP or course.  I am unable to locate an API endpoint that can provide me with a list of users who are enrolled in a course or LP. Alternatively, I can’t find an endpoint that can provide me with all the LPs or courses for a particular user. If I can obtain a list of courses or LPs for a user, I can compare it with my records and send an add or remove request to the API endpoint to make necessary updates.Can you please suggest any API endpoints that can help me achieve the above? 

Hello admins,Docebo has hidden the user ID codes from us for some reason. However, if you use the API, this information is required quite often. Is there an API request that can be used to change the “active” status of a list of notifications by the notification ID? The endpoint GET {base_address}/notifications/v1/notification/list can be used to list all notifications with their IDs and statuses. Is there a call that can batch update notification active status via CSV?Since Docebo doesn’t seem to offer an easy way to temporarily disable all notifications with one switch, we will need an alternative way to do this. 

Can you set the "Enable enrollment link for this course" field by API?  I’ve been able to find API Create/Edit Course fields for the 3 unenrollment settings above it, but not the Enrollment Link. 

Hi team,I setup an paired the VILT integration with Azure but the issue is syncing it to teams. I am entering the web address for our domain from Docebo into teams and using the secure client code but still not pairing to teams. Any help would be appreciated?

Hello, We already have users being enrolled into ILT courses via groups (not sessions and events).However we would like to know if it’s possible to auto enroll users into a specific session and event based on their hire date? Is there a way to create this logic?Our goal is to automate importing a user based on their hire date to be enrolled into a specific ILT course, session and event. I know in groups you are able to add additional fields and Hire date is one of our additional fields. However, without using logic we’ll have to change the date every two weeks.We hold classes bi-monthly, so the additional field group logic (essentially the hire date) will need to be updated constantly. We would like to automate that process if possibleWe already have a FEED-Import Daily going with our ADP software which imports the new hires so they are already in the database.Thank you! 

We are transitioning from our existing LMS to Docebo and I see in the API Explorer that there is an endpoint to create a single LP. However, I am looking for an endpoint that will allow me to use a CSV to create multiple LPs so I can “transfer over” a bunch of our existing LPs into Docebo.Does anyone have an already created endpoint that bulk creates LP’s that they would be willing to share?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,John

Is there any way to include unpublished or is_enabled=false channels in the channel API results?We have a need to delete some unpublished channels via the API but I can find no way to retrieve their IDs. I don’t want to do this through the UI. (either delete them or get their IDs)Thanks.

HI All,We are looking at getitng this set up to use Teams for our ILT’s and I have looked through quite a few posts on this topic but they all seem to be from a year ago. Ideally we want a generic/service sort of account so we dont have to set up individual instructors with an account. Has anybody done this succesfully and do you have any tips on how to make it work?We tested with the account we set up and paired, but the user did not get the joining information in their email and the calendar invite was added to some other outlook calendar and not their calendar. Any ideas why this would be happening? Also looking for any good tips and tricks in general for either the set up of the account or set up of the ILT to make this process easierHas anybody also used Webex and does it work better than teams? Thanks!
