Can we utilize API for Single Sign-On (SSO) for the Extended Enterprise?We are interested in granting access to one of our clients to implement SSO on a other application, and we would prefer to implement SSO through APIs without providing them access to the complete set of APIs.Our client can’t use SAML!Do any individuals encounter these scenarios?

We’ve been struggling with SSO implementation, and we’re 30 days into a support ticket with no light at the end of the tunnel, despite escalation and looping in account managers. Turning to the community for support…Here’s the scenario – we’ve got a custom OpenID provider for our industry, and many of the apps our stakeholders utilize have the same SSO integration. All our users start from our custom member portal where they are authenticated into our OpenID SSO provider. From here, we intend to have our Docebo users click a link to be taken into the LMS directly, without having to authenticate again. Here’s the problem – as of right now, if you go straight to our LMS login page, and click the “Login with OpenID Connect”, it works perfectly. However, the Login URL that we intend to embed in our member portal that we’ve been provided is not working. It takes users to the LMS login page and says there’s an error. Hi all,We’ve combined our LinkedIn Learning with our parent company and are in the process of creating two SSO instances - one for our group and one for the parent group. The parent group is the default SSO in LinkedIn Learning admin portal. I know the steps to integrate LinkedIn Learning into Docebo (article); however, the LinkedIn Learning tech team said that if we have a user access LinkedIn Learning from Docebo it will prompt them to login in via the default SSO (our parent company). Workaround is to make our SSO the default (not an option). Anyone else have two SSOs for LinkedIn Learning and use the Docebo<> LinkedIn Learning integration? And if so, what settings did you have to configure to make it work?Open to any and all ideas!Thanks, D’Arcy 

Ironing out a few more kinks, but getting very close to offering a new enrollment management tool. Initial features include:Bulk enroll or update users with completion dates (a single specified date or individualized) Bulk unenroll users from learning plans Allow archiving of users enrollments. Allow unenrollment of users from Learning Plan courses View and export your Learning Plans with Docebo IDs If anyone is interested in helping do a few tests, please message me. Does Docebo always CREATE the webinar in zoom? We will definitely have a major issue with this. We have a few different templates in zoom that we use depending on a few situations with tons of different settings.   Every other system I’ve integrated with zoom webinar or meeting has me setup the zoom webinar FIRST and then add the webinar ID number to the other system (like Docebo).  

Has anyone run into error messages while trying to create a webinar event in Docebo (our account is paired). We just keep getting error messages when trying to schedule, and notice that our webinar templates are not showing up when we try to select one. Anyone else with this issue?

Hi there! This is a bit of a weird one, so bear with. The past few weeks we have had a few issues arise with students being hit with an error when joining live sessions through the Docebo platform.  We have tried asking them to join through incognito windows, clearing their cache, restarting their browser, almost everything we can think of so I’m at a bit of a loss! The only other thing it could be related to is Zoom - We use zoom for our live sessions and I’m wondering if these issues are lining up with when Zoom v3 was fully integrated and Zoom v2 stopped working.  I wanted to ask if anyone else is having the same issue and if so, how did you find a fix for it? 

HiWe need to create a considerable number of courses and I’m looking for a way to streamline this process.Is there a way to create courses in batch using API’s?I've attempted to use /learn/v1/courses to create one course successfully, but encounter errors when attempting to add more than one in the same request.I've noticed that Batch Course Delete and Batch Course Update endpoints exist, but I couldn't find a similar one for course creation in bulk.Any guidance would be greatly appreciatedThanks

Hello everyone - I’m curious in regards to one of the points during DU Live about QR Code. What are the API endpoints used to set up the attendance QR code ?

We are trying to set up an automation that will pull a Completion Report from our FTP/SFTP site and mark courses complete. The Completion Report is coming from another LMS (HealthStream/3PL). I’ve read articles to understand how this works, but it’s above my expertise (for now), so I’m hoping someone can give me an Automation for Dummies explanation.When I’m creating the course shells for the completions, should I be creating internal course shells, or should I be creating them as external course completions? If I’m creating them as internal courses, is there anything in particular I need to include from the other system to make sure the automation can match the completion with the course? Any help is greatly appreciated! I’m trying to learn as much as I can, but this is overwhelming me right now.

How do you make MS Teams treat learners as invited guests who can bypass the lobby? Our setup: We have integrated Microsoft Teams for our ILT and have individually paired each instructor, so our ILT Events are MS Teams Meetings on their individual Outlook calendars. However, learners do not get individually invited to the Teams Meeting, and instead click the hyperlinked button in Docebo to join. The default MS Teams Meeting Option for “Who can bypass the lobby” is “People in my org and guests,” and Microsoft states that “guests” can bypass only if they were sent or forwarded the invite (source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/who-can-bypass-meeting-lobby).Anyone have advice on how to make the Docebo-to-MS Teams integration recognize learners as invited guests who bypass the lobby?Note: I know that forwarding the invitation from Outlook would work, but that is not sustainable for our use case. Another alternative is to set the Meeting Option to all “Everyone” to bypass

I had a bunch of conversations at Docebo Inspire and been reading around on the community about Skils management. Trying to think through how to best help folks….I understand many wish for a CSV upload for associating skills to courses, but is that the only common skills management?Is a CSV the preferred method?If there was a way to select a skill and then assign multiple courses to it would that be preferred or work?What else is annoying with them right now?I am thinking of a tool over at Fark.Tools but also potentially a Quickgrabs article for helping folks leverage the api’s to get this stuff done.

Hello, there!I was wondering if anyone in the community currently has Worktango and if you’ve found a way to integrate it with Docebo, whether by API’s or otherwise? Worktango is a rewards platform, where users can give points that can then be spent on prizes, for reference.

The Batch Course Update API call only includes the bare minimum of options for LMS admins: {  "items": [    {      "id": 0,      "code": "string",      "title": "string",      "description": "string",      "language": "string",      "course_status": "published",      "category_id": 0,      "category_code": 0,      "thumbnail_id": 0,      "batch_item_id": "string"    }  ]} This should be updated to include Additional Fields so that this is not a manual process when updating courses.

I saw that we will be migrating from Zoom V2 to V3. Wondering if anyone out there has had experience moving from V1 to V2?We started off with V2 so this will be my first time doing this migration and would love to hear from folks who have previously done this. Anything particular to look out for?  Was it difficult? Did it cause a lot of your end users and admins disruptions?  How long did it take to fully complete the transition?Any help would be appreciated!Thanks all!

Hi All, We just paired Zoom V3 in our Sandbox for testing. Super excited to get this rolling. As you can imagine, there is a lot to test, starting with the adding of Zoom Hosts to the paired Zoom instance. The first problem we are running into: Extreme latency opening and interacting with the enrollment side-bar. We’ve had different people try this, are meeting all of the minimum system requirements for Docebo(using Google Chrome) and have a minimum of 200mbps/10mpbs download/upload speed. Upon clicking the green assign button to add a Zoom Host, we see the enrollment side-bar open, then freeze, we get the message to wait or close the page. We click wait, then it opens fully. Upon trying to type in a username, name or email address to search it freezes once again. Is anyone else experiencing this?We were able to get 3 Zoom Hosts added before this became a major issue, since we’ve deleted one host and tried to add them back, now we are getting separate error(Internal Server Error).We ha

However, we’ve noticed that the new learning plans are marked as “under maintenance” (I’m adding a screenshot here). Is there an API end point to add courses to a learning plan?Our vendor just sunset a bunch of courses and our learning plans need to be changed to add the new courses into the LP. If one doesn’t exist, how difficult is it to ask Docebo to create one for us? 

A huge drawback (for me) of using APIs is that 95% of the endpoints want some ID that isn’t easily visible. Usually you have go to a different API to retrieve it. There are some endpoints in the API browser, like "Returns list of mappable fields for the data importer" under Manage > Users that just 'dump' info. This is very helpful.This leaves me with two questions1. Somewhat rhetorically - How come Docebo has hamstrung us like this?  Why not have a series of standard endpoints, themselves organized collectively instead of hidden all over the place, that provide the basic ID for all catalogs, all learning plans, all courses, all training materials, all sessions, all events, etc. This api-browser holds so many endpoints, many that I can't imagine ever using...but the simple, low hanging tasks are almost impossible to do.2. So, assuming that I can happen upon a list of IDs that I want to use, how do I keep that information so that I don't need to figure out how to find it again? For e

Hello,New Docebo user here, but long-time Salesforce admin and web developer.I’m tasked with embedding Docebo into my SF lighting community, which seems straightforward - I’ve synced my users, and followed the instructions here and here. This all seemed to work as advertised but LMS content doesn’t appear in my community where I’ve placed the Docebo Lightning Web Component.I have a support ticket opened for 14 days on this, and they’ve apparently escalated it to some internal specialist, but still no resolution.Has anyone else had this problem, and did you manage to work it out? If so, how?I expect this is some sort of privacy or permission settings in my Salesforce org, either org-wide or profile-based.Thanks! 

There is a critical error in one of our user additional fields. This field drives enrollment rules and notifications. One of the dropdown elements contains an ampersand “&” and that is being replaced by “&” . I have tried recreating the dropdown element and fixing the affected element. Both result in a return to the “&”. This means a user management file of over 1000 people can’t process, as the field in the sheet does not match the new faulty value. I created a ticket for this last friday, but docebo has not resolved this. I need to get someone competent assigned to my ticket to resolve this. @erin.brisson @pmo @matt.lewis
