Hello!For some reason, I’m receiving a 403 Forbidden error when I attempt to call the following endpoint:{base_address}/notifications/v1/notification/listI’m able to call this endpoint successfully (200 OK) via the explorer, but not via other apps or Postman. Why would this be and what is needed to complete this request?Thanks!

Hi ,i have a drop down with two custom options. I want to assign a default value during user creation.i am using /manage/v1/user API. and my additional field object is like this."additional_fields": {"11": "1"} i also tried with setting up the actual value "additional_fields": {"11": "my custom option 1"} how do i set a default value for a drop down  

I’m trying to find a way to import responses into a survey/poll on behalf of a student using the API.  Let me explain why…We want to make Docebo the central database of all training, including exams and course evaluations--even those that are completed outside the LMS.  In order to pull this off, I need to find a way to import question by question results into the LMS.  I suspect that the process to bring in course evaluations would be very similar to that of actual exams, and might be possible through what is documented here:https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/11489147129234My problem is figuring out how to figure out the IDs of individual questions that are part of an exam or survey/poll.For example, I can use this endpoint through the API Browser and pull back the info on one of my tests:/learn/v1/lo/{id}However, that doesn’t tell me the question-level info such as the question IDs.  Has anyone figured out how to retrieve those?  Even better, has anyone got working automation

Hi,While I am a decent LMS admin, I am a novice when it comes to automation. I always struggle getting started. Here’s a use case that I can’t seem to find “the first step” … after authentication, of course.Use case:Learner enrolls in LMS (self-registration) and completes an assigned learning plan. The whole learning plan must be complete before anything else can happen. When the learning plan is complete, authenticate to “System ID” Create a unique ID that combines 3Letters_UserUnique ID. Define the date 90-days out Send a post to generate a new ID (randomly generated number) with the unique ID + 90-day date “Snag” the resulting new ID Post that new ID back to the LMS account it came from into a designated Additional field.What do I do when I can’t find things in the api-browser or webhooks events that match the steps in my use case? Like, how does the automation get triggered when the LP is complete? Or how does it build this unique ID and date that I need to pass over to the other p

Hi everyone! We are currently trying to set up our Docebo Connect to ADP recipe, however we do not have the API Client ID or Client Secret without incurring additional costs on the ADP side. We were not made aware that these were required prior to purchasing Docebo Connect to ADP, has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround? Many thank for any advice or help!

Hello,I am trying to get list of sessions by code in Docebo. But the API get course sessions returns sessions id snd enrollments. no way to search session code.Is there API to retrieve full of session’s info by session code?Thanks,Liza 

Hi - when setting up a vILT event with myself as the instructor (I am also a Superadmin), I am able to select our MS Teams instance without issue (our MS Teams account has been configured in our Docebo system).  However, it does not automatically create a meeting for the event in my MS Teams calendar which I was expecting it to do.  Should this occur?  I also tested the enrollment process as a user attending the vILT event (with someone else assigned as the instructor).  When enrolling on the session, i was also expecting an event to appear in my MS Teams calendar?? Can someone confirm what should be happening as I cant find any clear information in the documentation or university modules. 

We are a global software provider and as such provide free product training and certification to our customers. We are more and more frequently receiving requests to put training enrollment and completion data directly into our customers’ internal LMS platforms.  We have been providing scheduled reporting up until now but this is cumbersome for the customer’s LMS Admins and we have been asked for a number of different interfaces, some with SSO and API data access others with a myriad of other solutions including Power Automate and loading our content directly into their platform. We are unwilling to have two dozen different solutions to this issue which is, of course, complicated by the different capabilities of each customer’s LMS platform.  Has anyone out there facing this same issue come up with a solution or two at most that can meet this need?  I am thinking I might need to become an LTI provider to get there but I am not even sure that would do it, as I am not well versed in that

I’m configuring SSO via OIDC using Salesforce as the Identity Provider (as documented below).  I’ve run into a problem where the redirection to SF works, and upon redirecting back after successful authentication the Docebo UI says “Something Went Wrong.”     I’ve just had support come back to me and say that they can’t help me troubleshoot this super informative message and that I should work with my AM to engage PS.Our group is quite technical, and this seems like an unusually unhelpful response since the logging on what went wrong isn’t exposed in the UI.   Looking for a sanity check on anyone else who had problems with OIDC setup initially - did you get support or did you have to pay for a PS engagement?  

I’ve been an Admin for a Docebo instance for a few months now and am learning my way around the APIs. One of my first challenges was to build a solution to update users in Docebo from our HR data. I had been running my solution for a week and validating that changes to users were being made via my python scripts. Then I started seeing users with first and last name changes that were not being updated by my code.My code was retrieving the existing users and comparing their fields against an employee id we store as an additional field. When the values in Docebo don’t match HR, my code simply changes the value of the Docebo user object using the field key. What I learned is that field keys for requesting users do not always match field keys when you need to update users.  From the API Documentation, I discovered that user’s first name and last name object keys are different for GETs than POSTs and PUTs.  GET User Object Response Keys  PUT/POST User Object Payload Keys  fi

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has successfully integrated Confluence resources into the Docebo platform and if they had any examples of best practices? We host a range of resources and documentation on Confluence and are looking for a way to push content directly into Docebo (or host from the lms) so that we don’t have to duplicate resources/workload. These are predominantly resources for people to view/browse rather than specific learning objects. If anyone has any examples of using the Docebo Connect tools/API to achieve this or simply the tools already available in the platform to host external resources from Confluence I’d be ever so grateful to view and learn about them! Tagging in some senior members for their input - thanks all! @lrodman @Bfarkas @gstager  Thanks

Hi folks,Slack is very heavily used and preferred as a method of communication for most of our employees, so getting the Slack integration up and running is important for us. However, our security team won’t approve as the Docebo Slack integration asks for too much access (ie access to all private channels) and they weren’t comfortable allowing it. Is it possible in the next version of the Slack integration to allow for custom permissions or other way to manage access to our internal systems? This will allow us to take advantage of this feature and make the lives of our employees (and L&D) much easier. Thanks,Kirk

Hello allIs it possible to implement multiple SSOs, where each company in the company group can access a Docebo platform, from its own AD?

My requirement is to access the additional fields of each course. I am using this API /course/v1/courses/{id} where it accepts only course one id for each API call. So, is there any other way to pass the array of course ids to fetch this information.

We started using Docebo a few months ago, and are slowly approaching 10k unique users. We have enabled OAuth2 for user authentication.Since launch day we are used the user's e-mail address as the username. However we are developing several integrations that require the username to be the OAuth2 subject claim instead.Experiments shows that choosing the username attribute “subject claim” (“sub”) works fine for new users, but the existing users still remain with their e-mail address as username.Does anyone know of a method, API endpoint, or have tips on how this can be updated for the existing users?

Hello! Is anyone using the Shopify integration who’d be willing to share what you’re doing? We’ve had problems with the way products/courses display and were hoping that someone in the community may have figured out a work around. 

Has anyone used a badge reader for recording attendance in Docebo? All employees have a unique badge for identification.  We are looking to have learners badge in and badge out of in-person classroom training.  Eliminating the need for instructors to do manual work. 

We are a MS shop and don’t use any AWS products. I know we can use other S3 services (I think), but can we use azure blob?

I was told by Docebo help the following is possible with the API but I lack the knowledge.We have an ILT course that employees have been enrolled in. They have gotten an email asking them to enroll in a session. I’ve been tasked with creating a report of those learners (along with their manager’s names) who have not enrolled in the sessions.Where do I start? Is there a Docebo API 101? What is in the knowledge base is more confusion than what I read in the Docebo API Explorer.Do I write JavaScript to GET the information via the API? Does anyone have sample scripts they would be willing to share?Thanks
