Anybody know, how to obtain daily information of “active user report”, how it was defined here (it includes different user activities, but not only subscription to the courses or course completion), using Docebosaas Web API?

Hi There, How can I check to make sure my API calls are to the Sandbox, and not going to/from the live site? I would like to test some calls, but I don’t want to post them to our live site. We recently synced the sandbox as well, so if there are settings I should be altering to make sure they’re separate, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hi Docebo, I am struggling to obtain an access token via PowerBI. I started from DanBrill’s helpful post here:  But I am hitting the same general issue that user gogrizz mentioned several posts down. PowerBI sends an error that it is not able to authenticate with the credentials provided.  PowerBI is able to retrieve a token using the Client Credentials grant type, but this token will not allow me to use the 7.0 APIs (as mentioned in the Docebo Help File https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082060-APIs-authentication#h_01HJ6PBHP8F9MNAGNRSSJ7H9FK) This is particularly confusing because I am able to obtain a working access token using the same credentials through other apps like Insomnia. I feel like there must be a credential type mismatch somewhere that I’m missing, but I am fully stuck on where to look. We need to pass course progress from Docebo into Salesforce, but have not found a way to do this via API or Docebo Connect. Is anyone aware of a way to get this information?Some background: we are using this for customer training and it is perhaps the most important data to help us understand how active the learner is in the course. I know we can get time spent in the course but we have found that to be so inaccurate (reporting hours when only minutes were spent in the course) that it is effectively useless.

Hi Everyone,I’m attempting to onboard Docebo to a SAAS solution called IdentityNow. In Postman we needed to pass both the client id / secret and username and password to retrieve the token for API calls. In IdentityNow, we’re able to establish a test connection but we’re unable to pass the token to other API calls in the source leading to a 401 error. Has anyone been able to onboard this source successfully to IdentityNow or other SAAS solutions?Thank You.

Hi there, Is anyone using a connector or integration for scheduling live ILT and general TMS needs in conjunction with an SSO? If you are using Training Orchestra and you are also using an SSO integration with Docebo, what do these connections look like for you? Does it cause additional set up and issues because Training Orchestra is outside the SSO? Are you using any other TMS software or services that your customers enjoy (and do they play nice with your SSO)?

Is anyone using the Docebo/Eventbrite integration to manage their Instructor Led Training? Are you collecting payments? Is it working? Is it another layer of complexity? Is information translating over correctly?

For api endpoint PUT /learn/v1/enrollments/{course_id}/{user_id}I need to remove the date_expire_validity.  However passing null or an empty string returns an error.  How do I unset this date?

HelloI have (what I thought was a) super-simple use case which I am struggling with in Docebo.I have a Docebo instance setup using SSO (JumpCloud is the IdP) which is also integrated with Slack.  The Slack integration appears to drive the format of user ID (firstname.lastname) rather than email address which would ideally be used. I have an external vendor which the Compliance team are using for mandatory eLearning courses.  The same users exist in the LMS of the vendor and also use SSO to access (again using JumpCloud as the IdP).  The user ID here has been set as email address.I have a learning plan in Docebo which contains initial content for user onboarding - various SCORM modules, a couple of videos from senior leaders, etc.  I then need to include the courses from the vendor. I want Docebo to remain as the front door for learners for this.I assumed (I never learn!) that my tasks for the integration would simply be:Export the courses as AICC from the vendor Update the userID attri

To start off with I know there is an API that will retrieve the details of 1 skill but we have 345 (80 core skills) so I really need to find a way get all the skill descriptions without doing each one individually in an API (api-browser/#!/skill/Skill/Skill_skill_v1_skills_skill_id). I can get all the skills their codes and id’s thanks so a very talented team member SQL database and PowerBi. So if that is required I have that information. Is there a report I’m missing or maybe the API is hidden somewhere? I’ve looked everywhere I can think but I just keep hitting brick walls as far as the skills are concerned.Any ideas gratefully recieved.

We have been using the AutomationApp to pull employees via CSV into Docebo for over a year. This week, I noticed new employees being added with missing fields and alternate usernames. Upon checking the Audit log, it appears the User creation switched from the AutomationApp to SAML SSO. Any ideas how or why this changed? I’m still receiving successful CSV import notifications every day, and the SAML SSO user created time and date match what would be expected via the automation.  Audit log screenshot below, with redacted user information. The red box is the latest user creation actions, and the green is what is desired.  

I’m testing out the API to create Channels in bulk. I’m heartbroken to realize that channels don’t have codes like catalogs since I have to make over 2k of them. But I digress. I’ve create a channel successfully, but I don’t see the option to set the upload permissions upon creation. Docebo excels in many areas, but search is not one of them. The global search results are particularly confusing to our users. To address this, we are looking into adding a third party search tool like Coveo or Elastic. Does anyone have experience integrating a tool like this into Docebo? If so, I would love to hear about your experience.

Hello everyoneI have a customer using one of my extended enterprise subdomains, plugged into its SSO.I have activated the function to connect only using the “SAML SSO” button. But as I don’t have credential on my customer SSO, I can not connect.I can if I’m activating the SMAL_SSO + login/password option… but this is confusing for my customer: half of them connect by clicking on the SAML SSO button, others try with credentials and fail.So is there an alternate URL for this subdomain where I could connect, with my login/password and not use the SAML SSO button?

I spend quite a lot of time on finding the solution through Docebo API explorer, but the only solution i find is /learn/v1/courses/report?idCourse=113. Then it returns all the user for this course. But I want to find a single user and check what courses he got assigned has been completed. The exploration I had above will make the fetch logic super complicated, because I will have to find each course and figure out if the user has completed or not? Please help me out!!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am a front-end developer working on my company’s Docebo platform and was wondering if there is any way to connect our Bitbucket repository to the Docebo CSS editor, or any better way to deploy code than copying it from my local VSC files, which is quite tedious. I do have DevOps colleagues that could create the necessary pipelines or workflow for that. Is there any such option?

We created many (MANY) catalogs in bulk via the API. When you do, it auto sets the SORT BY option to Name A-Z. Typically, you’d want Newest to Oldest. Anyone familar with how to set a list of IDs to that option? When we used ‘groups’ we could easily find out which ‘groups’ an individual user was in, via the API call:     GET /manage/v1/user/{userid}/groupsThis would tell me which groups this individual user was a member of.How can I do the same thing with Audiences?? (since the change to ‘audiences’ and the removal of ‘groups’)The only way I see is to get a list of ALL Audiences, then call the API repeatedly for each Audience to get ALL members of each Audience (veeerrrrryyyy sssllloooooowww)Anyone have a better idea? It seems like ‘groups’ have been removed but the equivalent facilities are not being offered for audiences.Many Thanks

My company is trying to automate the process of creating new users in Docebo. We have a connection to our HRIS system but for some reason when it reaches step 5 it just skips to the end. It is not creating any new profiles in Docebo. I have confirmed from the logs that it is receiving information from UKG. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Totally new to APIs and playing around with “Create a Course” using Docebo’s API browser and our sandbox environment. I got this as a response - no errors - so I thought I had it all figured out... But when I go to my environment, the course I tried to add is nowhere to be found. Any idea what I’m missing?
