If I change a badge’s point value will it update everyone’s points for those who already have the badge?

Hello, I’ve been giving people 1 point per course.  Users say 5 or 10 would be more motivating. I’m cool with that.  if I change my course completion badge from 1 point to 5 points will it give everyone 4 extra points for their past completions? Or will all past point earners be out of luck - and more importantly, those past point earners would be at a competitive disadvantage.  make sense?

Allow learners to choose session with an instructor

We have a course that learners follow independently and then an instructor needs to observe them carrying out certain tasks in real time on an application. As learners go through the course at their own pace, it’s tricky to predict when we need to make instructors available. To make planning our side easier, we’d like to put something on Docebo that says “these are the dates/times that are available, choose one”. Only one person should be able to “enroll” for any given observation session.As the instructor only needs to observe the learner, there is no need for a webinar or teams meeting or anything like that - there doesn’t need to be any contact. Just a way to give options and have learners choose one and that option then not be available to anyone else.I can’t see an obvious way to do that in the platform. Does anyone have any bright ideas?

Robotic Process Automation for Calendar and ILT Creation: Help me brainstorm a $100,000 problem

Hello, My power-user external clients are less than thrilled with two items: calendar - they want one calendar view that shows available AND enrolled courses, and let’s users directly enroll or unenroll from the calendar. This looks like a massive dev cost for us potentially.  ILT creation - pretty cumbersome. Cheaper dev cost to fix this.for both of these I’ve been looking at API work that’s all pre-written in code. I’m wondering if I’m looking at this wrong. could I maybe use RPA (robotic process automation) instead, and have users enter requests that are handled by clicking and typing by RPA? This would get rid of any need for API calls, and would allow me to perform actions not supported by the API   has anyone gone down this route (RPA) and have possible advice for me from lessons you learned even if you did not complete your RPA project? technically RPA is not generative AI but I thought this was the closest fit

Past ILT Courses in catalog

Need some help on thisWe offer ILT courses once a month for different products and different topics.The course and any sessions or events are only offered once for the year, after that, it may not be offered again for the year or ever.However, that course shows up in the Course Catalog page for Instructor Led TrainingSince there are no sessions or events available for a user to select, this could be confusing to customers. They want to know why it is not being offered.I tried to mark the course Under Maintenance, but that removed it from view for others who completed the course. Those users who completed the course, still need access to the recorded training. How does everyone handle this or am I missing something?ThanksMichael

The Search for a Better Slider - Option 1

This post is meant to be an attempt at helping folks implement a slider type of widget with images that cycle through in an endless loop. No interaction. Down the road, I will offer one that has some manual selection to it. That is why this is titled as option 1.There has indeed been a number of postings referencing Comslider as a great resource for this sort of thing. I have not used it personally but I would venture a guess that it is much nicer and simpler than what I am about to offer here but this is free - so I guess you get what you pay for - LOL. At any rate - I figure that for some folks - Comslider may not be an option. If that is the case - you have one here.This is a CSS and HTML option - no JavaScript. This would still require some work on your part to tweak it for your number of images and to put in your image URLs - etc. I will try to help with that part as best I can.Here is a quick look at the one I built as a sample. MS Teams Integration

Good morning,I’ve seen various topics on the community surrounding issues with Microsoft Teams integration, especially getting instructors to join as an instructor and not a learner.Has anyone successfully resolved? Been going round in circles with Docebo support and I utilise another bespoke system that we’ve successfully integrated into Teams without any of these issues, so I’m not sure it’s an actual Microsoft issue.The instructor has an Azure AD account, is added to the app / enterprise application, everything is paired within Docebo itself. Then whatever happens, they’ll always join as a participant. Thanks

Joining an MS Teams Meeting as an instructor

Hi,We have MS Teams working with Docebo, however, right now all participants, including instructors are joining as “learners”.In the documentation about MS Teams integration, there is a bullet in the Important Notes section at the end, which I’m having a hard time to understand:In order for a Docebo user to join a webinar as an instructor in Microsoft Teams, the account must be paired to an individual account in Azure. The Instructor of the session will be defined by the Azure-based Microsoft Teams account and the Microsoft Teams account created in Docebo will be used to launch the session.Can someone please explain this in plain English?What are the steps to have a person who is a course instructor join the Teams webinar or event with the right privileges?

Teams Integration - any tips?

After jumping through a lot of hoops with our IT team, I’ve been able to get the Teams integrations setup to allow us to schedule webinars directly in Teams Meetings. We’re doing some testing sessions to figure out what our process will be but it seems promising. Does anyone have any tips or watch outs they can share?For now, we’re just doing a Teams Meeting integration, not Live Events, but I’d be interested in any experience with Live Events as well. Thank you

Go Learn - IT push to devices

Our IT groups in the regions want to configure any organizational device to get the go learn app. They can set up the download, but they are asking if we can get a configuration key. I don’t see anything in the documentation about this. I know that we can’t change the go learn app (we have the branded app as well), but is there not a value we can link to in order to prepopulate the URL for the users on the Microsoft admin side for Go Learn? If anyone has experience and knows the value for iOS and Android that would be very helpful. We have about 20k users and trying to remind them of the URL just seems painful.Here is an example of our Saba configuration (which we are migrating away from) -

Videos - Direct Upload vs. YouTube/Vimeo links

Curious to know which method you use to add videos to your platform, and what you find the advantages/disadvantages to be in user experience and reporting. We currently upload all of our videos, but are looking to migrate all of that to Vimeo so that we can add chapter markers like ‘skip intro’, or add chapters for any videos longer than 3-5 min.

Change "ILT" to "Workshop"

Hi all, Does anyone know if we can change the term “ILT” to something else (like “Workshop”) where it appears on the LMS? Maybe some CSS code? None of our learners use this term so having it there is kind of awkward...if we can’t change it then that’s fine, thought I would just ask :) Thanks for your help,Rob

Um - I had a manager reach out and ask me is there a way to sort on first name last name in My Team. And I almost feel silly saying no.Am I missing something????Yes they can search - but not sort by name their team members?

Hiding the option, "Manage Team Requests"

Just noticed that anyone with access to view users can also access the option to “Manage Team Requests” and potentially remove a team member association. This page seems to track all changes made to employee/manager relationships whether done by an admin or via CSV import. This definitely poses a risk…Does anyone know or have CSS to hide this option on the User Management page? @gstager ?thank you.

Hello, Me and my team need specific information about users that are going to enroll in an ILT class. We need to know their specific size for a material (gloves). Is there a way to push a form before they can enroll in a specific ILT session and make it mandatory for them to take that form before they can enroll in the session. User Sign Up Email "Reset Password"

I have a question about the email notification users get when a new account is created for them. The notification currently gives user a link to “reset” their password. I am worried this is confusing, as users are accessing the platform for the first time and have never created a password before, so they have no password to “reset.” Rather, I would like all messaging to refer to “creating a password.” Does anyone have advice on how to configure messaging to be centered around “creating a password,”  rather than resetting a password?  Email received by new user: After user clicks on “Reset your password” link:

Test Answers: Breakdown by question

I want to see a breakdown of test answers by question. For example, how many people missed Question 1, Q2, Q3, etc. to help guide instruction. I know how to get the report within the reports section of the quiz, but that shows me answers by student. Yes, I know I can use Excel but I REALLY thought to see the breakdown per question, I needed to use the Docebo Test option and it was available within the GUI (not as an exported xls doc).I see an “Answers Breakdown” button when using SCORM but that never seems to work (SCORM 2004 3rd Edition). Can anyone help?

Notifying Users when New Courses are deployed in Docebo?

I have a course I want to send an e-mail notification to all users and also automatically alert them after “X” amount of days that they have not completed the requirement. Is this possible through Docebo to trigger this. I cannot find a knowledge base article to show me how to do this..

Unable to upload MP4 file to courses

Hi guys,I have a set of recordings in mp4 files I would like to upload to Docebo and I keep getting the error:This video has been created with a codec that is not supported.Based upon this document and comparing my file codec information from the SS below I am using H264 for video and ACC for audio.Do you have an idea what is bothering Docebo?Cheers,George
