Chromebook and Word
Hello. We are using a Docebo learning platform where the learners have to download a Word document from the course, fill it out, and the upload it to the course. Here’s the problem. We are using Chromebooks. We are able to download the documents to the Chromebooks and open them, using either Microsoft 365 and Google Docs. The problem is, is that we are unable to edit the documents. The seems to be some kind of text box on the documents preventing the students from editing them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Have Your Say: What Do You Want to Know About Skills?
Friends! Docebians! Customers! Lend me your ears. The customers have spoken about Skills, and we’ve heard you. You’re interested in learning more about Skills management in your platform. I’m developing some ideas for a specialized course on Skills to complement the information we provided in the release readiness webinar, the monthly release course, and Docebo Help/Knowledge Base, and I’d love to poll your opinions. So now, I’m interested to hear: what topics should my forthcoming Docebo University course cover? What burning questions do you have that just have to get answered? Are there features or activities you’re interested in that need to be addressed?Put ‘em right here in the comments…
Issue with Reporting?
Hello, Our Power Users have been unable to pull accurate reports in over a week. New data stopped being pulled into custom reports starting February 9th. Docebo has started this is site wide. Is anyone else experiencing this? No update for resolution yet and customers are starting to get upset.
🏆 Weekly Leaderboard Results [Feb 20-25]

We also welcomed back @steveninfinger @Stephen.Barton and @gstager to the leaderboard. Way to go everyone! Welcome to our newest membersLast week, we said hello to 41 new members! Also, thanks so much to @Hannah Gregory and @Bouben for taking a minute to introduce yourselves. It’s such a pleasure to read through your intros to get to know you better. If you haven’t posted yours, what are you waiting for?! Leveling UpWe kept th
Content Creation Software
Our organization is experiencing rapid growth with LMS offerings and we are unable to scale to the desire of the organization. We are being asked to look at processes and procedures but also additional tools. I am curious of those who are using content creation software and their experience with these solutions. Has it helped your process in creating content for the LMS or does it bring more challenges?
Looking for more control over courses published?
Hi all,Do you ever wish you had more control over who was publishing courses and when? Would you like a report that showed the published date for each course?Do you administer an LMS in an organization where sometimes course developers try to get around quality checks and established processes? Are you working in a compliance-related sector where accidently published a course too soon could result in a non-conformance report or other compliance related issue? If so, then vote for my idea to restrict access to publish courses as a separate power user permission and to provide a publish date. Many thanks!
Great resource if you use Abobe Captivate to create eLearning
Hi everyone, can I quickly recommend subscribing to the Paul Wilson (founder of CaptivateTeacher.com) YouTube channel if you use Adobe Captivate and want ideas, hints and tips for using the software.https://www.youtube.com/c/Paulwilsonlearning/videos NB other sites and eLearning authoring tools are available - this is just a personal recommendation and not an endorsement by Docebo or Kennedys Law.
Audit Report available in Sandbox but not Production
We are able to report on audit trail changes in the Sandbox environment but for some reason this option is not available in Production. Is there some way to enable this reporting option in Production so we can report on new courses created and who they were created by?See differences below:

Transparency in Docebo Tickets
When we open a ticket with Docebo, sometimes our issues need to be reviewed by a Senior Resource. This is great except, once it is in the hands of a Senior Resource, there is no visibility to what is actually happening on our tickets. We don’t know if there are tasks associated with the ticket, or if anyone has been actively working on our issues. So the customer who opened the ticket has to bug the support person who picked up the ticket for updates. The support person then has to reach out to who ever else, wait for a response, then when they have time, respond back to the customer. This is time consuming and can allow for mistakes when relaying information. It would be nice to be able to review if there is any activity, for example tasks, notes or if other departments have to assist. This way we are not having to constantly request updates from the support staff that has picked up our tickets. .
instructor test evaluation workflow
What is everyone doing for instructors that need to evaluate test questions?I am struggling with how to best present to the instructor that they have a test waiting to be evaluated, and then how to get to the thing to grade it.Currently in the course management-->reports-->training material approach. The status shows as in progress, not submitted, so the instructor doesn’t know what is pending evaluation.

Stop changing the Power User Profiles monthly and change something that needs it!
It appears that every time there is a system update, the management of User Profile menus changes. This is infuriating. The latest version is particularly frustrating, requiring significantly more clicking than previous iterations. I would rather see a dashboard look of all the options, rather than each item being in its own pull-down menu. This is NOT an improvement nor is it time-saving. There are other areas of the platform that need attention rather than simply changing the interface for this area repeatedly, to no benefit.
How do you keep track of your Docebo universe?
I’m an incoming super admin for our medium-sized organization’s newish Docebo project. I missed several months of the initial planning and project and I’m working hard to catch up :) It’s a mountain of information and decisions and possibilities, but my question for Superadmins (or anyone) out there is how do you keep track of all the parts, pieces, procedures, practices and things? I need to get and stay organized, but I wanted to get your ideas. Do you use Excel, back of an envelope, Monday.com or other method of documenting and organizing all the things that make up your Docebo universe? Many thanks in advance!EM

Registration form Captcha
Hello Community,I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has brought up the fact that the registration forms do not have any type of bot prevention logic. With bots becoming more intelligent and the amount of fraud online being most prevalent now, my recommendation would be to add a ‘Captcha’ on all forms that require input fields. At my company, we are going through a DARM assessment, and have hit a roadblock because bots are able to fill in this form. Has anyone encountered this before as a risk? And has anyone brought this up before for integrating a Captcha? Thanks so muchShari Bijaczyk
Do you use the Central Repository much ?
Hi all,I guess the question is if 99% of my training materials each belong in one course, should I put them in the Central Repository ?We have very few materials that go into more than one course - and where we do we would want the material marked complete in both courses if they were completed in one or other, so I can see the benefits as listed here and discussed in a previous thread below. What's your take ?Manage all training material in a centralized library Avoid duplicated content Update training material easily at once for all courses Track training material in the same report, regardless of the courses where it is placed.

Concerns after this month's webinar
Hello everyone,After hearing today’s webinar, I feel we are still not moving towards the goals that are very needed within any basic LMS: Robust and updated email notification module Updated Dashboards for Reporting Retraining of courses Updates to Localization/Making Global Updates for all languages at once Updates to Power User permissions/letting power users create other power users Gamification updates Customization of the global search bar Customization of the virtual coachIt’s great hearing about these various UI, and verbiage changes but they are not the items we’re looking to have resolved - and I feel the time can be better dedicated to more highly requested items. Does anyone feel the same? Can the Docebo team at least provide some concrete updates to the above? Many of these updates were promised last year. Thanks for reading.
Replies to posts
it’s great have these forums to find out about releases, post ideas, and share information. When people send a reply I was wondering if it would be better to have the most recent replies at the top of the thread, rather than having to scroll past posts you’ve read before to see what’s been added - could just be me of course. What do you think ?
