We migrated to Docebo from our previous LMS about a year ago and are now working on a rollout plan for Coach and Share. Since our previous content creation was purely course driven, I am struggling to determine when to use assets for pre-existing resources vs a course. Is there a comparison chart between the twoor some best practices of how you utilize both types of content? 

We all know migrating solutions can be a heavy lift for administrators, but there’s also a lot to think about in terms of helping your learners to transition and adopt the new system! Was curious to hear some best practices on migration, less focused on the technical aspect and more focused on the change management aspect for learners. Here’s a few specific points I’d love to gather thoughts on; What to do before learners come into the new system / How to prepare for learners to come into the new system? Ways to communicate to learners about the new system? (Especially for a customer audience)  How to gauge how learners are acclimating to the new environment? Thank you all!

Folks has anyone used ClicData to act as your integrator? That go between place between Docebo and your HRIS feed?Or used ClicData for even for reporting functions. I would be curious of your findings.It seems like ClicData can manage a simple datawarehouse as well acting with a scheduler and a visualization tool….so I am thinking it can handle our basic ETL work to drop off people in branches effectively….but I am curious if anyone out there in the world is trying to do some similar stuff. 

I’m trying to re-arrange the order of the subscription bundles on the Subscription Plans page but can’t figure out how to do it. It looks like the they are presented in reverse order of creation (most recent is first) but I want to be able to push an older plan to the front so people don’t have to scroll to see it.For example, there are 4 bundles available but only 3 show on the page at one time and I want the last one to be in the first position when the user lands on the page.Am I overlooking something in trying to do this? Anyone have experience with this?Thanks!

Crazy task assigned this week, we are connecting sales force to Docebo. We would like that based on the sales the leaderboard would change too.I have an idea in mind but I’m not sure if anyone has implemented this in a super easy way.

Hey guys,A while ago, we’ve started thinking about creating our own, internal knowledge base with the help of  HelpJuice provider.Has anyone any kind of experience with these kind of knowledge base tools and what could be achieved by connecting them to our LMS? If so, please share! Any tips or DOs & DON’Ts would be welcome.

I’ve been down this road before but never while the Community has been active, so looking for creative suggestions for an issue we run into when an employee needs to redo training. We have a Learning Plan for some IRA content our staff are required to complete prior to an ILT session.  The plan includes 5 eLearning sessions.  The case we have now is that an employee completed all the eLearning sessions and went through the ILT training. However, they aren’t retaining the information and need to be put back through it. The staff will be required to redo all eLearning/LP prior to getting reenrolled into the ILT Session.Without deleting the tracking of the original completions, how do you all handle this situation. I know I can create a new Learning Plan, but the courses are still the same so it will recognize their completion.  Which means I will have to create new eLearning Courses, rename/restructure just to allow the system to track, is there an easier way? 

We want to add a weekly enablement session to Docebo so managers can track who attends these sessions. Is it possible to set up a single event within a session to be recurring?  We are integrated with Zoom, and I know that I can edit the Zoom meeting to be recurring; however, I don’t think that Docebo would respect that.  In this case, would we have to create individual events for each week? Thank you.

Hi everyone,I need some insight and clarification on Tests and the Question Bank.Background info: I have 30+ ILT courses. All courses have some sort of test. The test questions all get saved in the Question Bank. I’ve instructed my team that if they need to change the questions on their tests, they should unlink the one from their test, add a new one, make sure it is categorized correctly, and push it to the question bank.The reasoning logic behind un-linking a question and leaving it in the Question Bank was because I thought that it would retain the answers from previously answered tests. This would basically give us an archive of our previous tests and learner’s test records. (rephrase; I thought the version of the test the learner took would record to their training record to refer back to how they performed on the test)Example: We have a class on “how to process a loan”. Charlie took the class in February. Our process changed in April and we changed the test to reflect the new pro

After our inspectors complete their Initial Certification Learning Plan we will be assessing them in a VR environment on their inspection process and accuracy.  This VR assessment will identify where they may need remediation.  If we assign them a specific remediation course that uses the same material that was in the Learning Plan (from the Central Repository), it will be marked already complete.  The only way I know to avoid this is to upload a second copy of the material designated for remediation.  But now I have REDUNDANT material which could lead to outdated material.How do you keep track of redundant material to ensure that if a change is made to the training it gets updated in ALL locations?Is there a trick that I am missing?To avoid the redundancy, I could use the same resource, but add a SURVEY to the remediation course.  Surveys can be tracked LOCAL.  But the training resource will still show as “complete” in the course, only the survey would need to be completed.Does anyone

How do you handle name changes that change the username, and what are some of your  standard practices with that as well?example: User 123 = (username) U123, then changes their name to U 1234 = U1234.

Good mornng community! Just coming off of a Taleo Learn instance that I helped to run for 8 years. Looking to “relate” and find others that are working through either a migration or did some similar work. I believe we will be like minded in a bunch of places.I am very excited to join the new community...and looking forward to contributing.In context, I went from leading a team of 7 direct reports and 3 indirect reports that worked with that older instance and decided it made sense for a change for myself and to look at my “new tomorrow” back in January. We have been evaluating products and came to the conclusion that Docebo is the best fit. Now we are just beginning our implementation.I did contribute a ton in another forum - I found it to be a great way to learn from others that are leveraging the system...and I found it fun to try and stay up on badges and the leaderboards.Some top questions off hand:Observation Checklists look like they may fit for us as we have a seriously deep pap

In our courses we want to include links to .pdf files for downloading; however, we are concerned about users sharing the files once they are downloaded.  Does anyone have a solution for tracking/securing files after they are downloaded from Docebo?We are aware of the slide converter option; however, these documents will be used for open book exams, so they have to be available for printing.Currently, we are adding a copyright watermark, and potentially adding a bates number, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hi everyone!I’m seeking some ideas regarding our home page widgets.We’re reconfiguring our home page and are featuring the Q&A widget and the Recent Activity widget at the top in order to drive casual engagement and knowledge sharing. We don’t have a lot of formal courses, but many employees share resources and we want to encourage more people to share content and ask questions. However, the questions that appear in the Q&A widget also appear in the Recent Activity widget that’s right beside it, so it it’s redundant. I’d love for the “Recent Activity” to omit the Q&As and only show assets that have been shared, but I don’t think that’s possible. If anyone has ideas for creative workarounds so that we don’t see the same questions in two side-by-side widgets, I would love to hear! Maybe instead of the Recent Activity widget, there’s another way to feature content that others have shared? Maybe there’s a whole other way to drive casual user engagement?Thanks in advance!

We have an initiative to increase our External Training Tracking. We know extra training is occuring outside of our platform, but we don’t feel we are getting a good response rate for our staff submitting it. Currently I am sending a monthly reminder email, and mentioning it when in face-to-face trainings, but does anyone else have any creative ideas on how to increase the submission rate on this type of training?

Has anyone managed to create a countdown page without the use of Javascript?

Hello Community! Hope you are ready for the weekend!Last work-related thought before leaving the laptop on the desk, I promise … how has been you experience with launching the platform to first time e-learning users? We might be talking about not extremely tech-savvy audiences or, more simply, learners using an LMS for the first time. I think custom pages can be very helpful in these situations and I really love the clean and effective result you can obtain with just a couple of widget types, like in the following example:  How do you do that? The recipe is very simple: 3x image widgets, 3x My course and learning plans widgets, a pinch of color design  , mix everything together and don’t forget to pre-filter the content by learning status before baking! This type of page will give your learners immediate, unmistakable information about where they stand in their learning journey and most likely increase your courses’ completion rate.You are new to the custom pages concept? Hello all, unsure if anyone at all tried this, but what were are try to do is to display specific page from Workday to an iframe widget in our Docebo instance. Normally using the iframe widget works but this particular page just won’t load. We’ve already tried enabling iframe support within Workday - still nothing. It’s as if it’s stuck on a loop and just gives up after a while (see below)  Does anyone else encounter a similar issue? Thanks in advance!Keith

We currently use the Go.Learn Mobile App (which is not a branded mobile app) and did not know that the Biometric Login is only for customers who have a branded mobile app. I feel that this feature should also be included in the Go.Learn Mobile app as well.I did put this in the Ideas - LMS-I-445 - if you want to vote on it.Let me know what others think about this. 

In the latest monthly release notes it says“HEADS UP! Course enrollment button visibility update for Power UsersFor those using the Power Users app, please note that starting on August 19, 2021, in order for Power Users to be able to see the Enrollment button for courses,  the profile they are assigned must have both Enrollment and View permissions enabled for courses.”Does anyone know which permissions need to change?  I’ve looked and the options there are not the same as the text above!

If you are using content that is not supported by Docebo like, Udemy etc. I suggest you to contact Tray.io.  Tray is a small and powerful platform that import, export data and licenses between platforms that don’t have connection within Docebo. 

Hi All, I am wondering how do you utilise Docebo for an on-boarding/induction training. I want to make a part of the on-boarding training digital and create some e-learning course but also want to mix it with ITLs.  Generally the idea is to assign to each new employee a set of courses which that person has to go through: a couple of eLearning courses and ILTs sessions, in the specific order (so prerequisites will have to be set). I am wondering if there is any way to an ITL sessions once and just use them each time when the on-boarding training will have to be run? So I don’t have to waste time to create the same ITL each time? Do you have any experience with it? if so how did you handle it?
