Hi community,We have some mixed experience with archiving courses and certifications. My understanding was that when a Super Admin/Power User archived someone's enrolment from the course management > enrolments screen that this would archive the enrolment but also renew the certification, so that when we mark the new enrolment after archiving as being completed the certification should update with the new completion date. We’ve seen examples of some users having the certification date updated when we do this and other examples where it hasn’t updated the certification.We have a number of courses that we do this for as they aren’t advertised (non published) courses so the users aren’t going through the ‘renew now/renew certification’ process for this course certification, so thought the above would let us archive users in bulk without having to go into each user and select the renew now/renew certification buttons to start the renewal process.Do

Hi everyone,we are currently still in the process of implementing Docebo, and I have a bit of a mental knot when it comes to enrollments.I understand that there are two ways to handle enrollments: directly within the course and via enrollment rules. What works the same with both methods is that users who are newly added to a group are automatically enrolled in the course.The key difference, as I understand it, is that only direct course enrollments also enroll all current members of a group. From my perspective, the only advantage of enrollment rules is the overview they provide of which groups are enrolled in which courses. This overview is missing when enrolling groups directly in the course itself.What I’m missing is a clear understanding of which use case calls for which method.And how should I proceed if I accidentally enrolled the wrong group in a course?

I am a new LMS Administrator and was wondering if Docebo has implemented an easy and quick solution to manage different notifications for course enrollment: different notificaions if the course is an eLearning or a ILT. Last discussions in the community are updated to 2 years ago.😮

Hi All, sharing a major challenge I am currently facing.  A ticket has been submitted; however, I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what the resolution was.  Last week, courses imported through the Marketplace worked fine. No issues.  Today, I received an escalation from a new learner that they were unable to complete their mandatory compliance courses, many of which are sourced from the Marketplace.  I impersonated the learner, tried to access the courses myself, and tested other Marketplace courses.  All have the same error message.  We heavily rely on these materials and have hundreds of courses imported.  Below is an image of the error message (I’ve redacted the full message code for privacy purposes).  

I need to update over 600 users with new email addresses and usernames.  I can do this via the CSV upload, but it doesn’t seem to trigger the User Modified notification I have set up to let the users know this has been done.Does anyone know how I can easily notify these users that their username/email address has changed?Thanks

Hello all!Did a recent update remove Learning Plans from Global Seach results?I see the welcome update of being able to exclude specific items types from Global Serach results, in particular Assets and Training Material.  However, I cannot get Learning Plans to be searchable.  I have not excluded anything with the new settings.  My users can’t find Learning Plans.  I’m a super admin and can’t either and I’m using the exact names and key words.Learning plans do return as search results from catalog and other course pages.Was this an expected update and I missed it?

While playing around in our sandbox today, I found this new option  when enrolling users:tried a few different settings and it seems to apply this to the courses...just not sure what the difference is between Mandatory and Required. Looked in KB but nothing is mentioned and this was not in the release notes.Ned to understand the different combinations and what they mean for users...for example, below you can see a course with a setting of “recommended” WITH and expire date...how does this work for users? Does it mean that they should completed before that date? How is this reflected in reports? Are notifications tied to these statuses?So many questions...@erin.brisson do you have any additional information on this? Thx

We’re building our ILT courses as usual.One course is over 2 days so we have 2 events within 1 session (Fairly normal!!)The course has been allocated a Session Instructor as they will be running both days - but they are locked out of the training.There are no special enrolment permissions - nothing out of the normal.I have fixed the problem for today by deleting the Session Instructor and adding as Event Instructor instead - but can anyone let me know what we are doing wrong?  

Our use case: Editing meeting options for a VILT It is possible to set up virtual training courses, and we have Teams connected for this purpose.However, when we set up a VILT via Docebo, we are unable to edit the meeting details in Teams. What works is to create a separate meeting in our Outlook calendar and copy the link into the VILT, but that is exactly what we want to avoid as it creates extra work. We see in this article: VILT for Microsoft Teams – Docebo Help & Support, that there are now options to create breakout rooms but the meeting option from MS Teams are still not possible to edit, correct? Thanks in advance for ideas or solutions. 

I set up some Teams ILT sessions, no problem, used my account in the Event. I’m listed as the Session instructor. Why was I unable to start the event? All I got was “Someone will let you into the meeting.” I figured as the instructor and Teams account holder that would be me?

I’m currently testing the new ‘Follow Channel’ feature and it’s definitely a great idea that’s poorly executed.First off, if a user clicks to follow a channel, why is the notification set to silent by default? Why isn’t the user made aware they need to click the bell icon to activate the notification for the followed channel? This is confusing as hell.It would be much easier if the user clicked follow and was automatically defaulted to an active notification type (e.g. digest). Or, at least signal to the user that they must also select the type of notification!When I clicked follow the first time, I wasn’t even aware I needed to do anything extra. So I followed a channel, but not really since the notifications are muted by default. Poorly executed feature :(

Hi everyone,I’m new to the system and need some assistance in understanding how to cancel an enrollment without losing the initial enrollment data. I'm concerned about maintaining accurate tracking of enrollments and cancellations. If we enable users to 'unenroll,' how do we ensure the proper tally of enrollments and cancellations? Any guidance or insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I try to go to Notification Management today it just spins and spins.  I’ve reached out to support and they’re still investigation, but was wondering if it’s just me.

I’m looking to connect a Job Board to my Docebo instance. My goal is a "seamless" handoff: a user clicks a link on the Job Board and is automatically provisioned with a new account in Docebo (and logged in) without having to enter new credentials.I have a few specific hurdles I’d love advice on: Multiple SAML Providers: We already have SAML 2.0 active for our internal employees. Is it possible to add a second SAML IdP (for the Job Board users) on the same domain, or do I need to use Extended Enterprise to keep these configurations separate? JIT Branching: When these new users are created via Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, I need them to land in a specific Branch. Can I dictate the branch via an Attribute Statement in the SAML setup, or is there a better way to "force" them into a sub-branch? Greetings! I am working on Learning Plans that have courses with prescribed soft deadlines and a validity period of 60 days. When I assign the LP the learner receives the notification email, and all of the dates are the same...how should I set it up to make it cascade that once they finish the first course in the LP the next course’s clock begins and so on through the LP?

Hi everyone,As a Superadmin, is there a way to view which specific courses a user has completed within a Learning Plan, rather than only seeing the overall completion percentage?I’m frequently asked to review groups of users (sometimes up to 40 at a time) to identify which courses they are missing within a specific learning plan. Right now, this requires manually opening and checking each course, which isn’t scalable.Ideally, I’d like: A way to see course-by-course completion status for an individual learner within a learning plan A solution that could be handled by a Power User, so this doesn’t require Superadmin involvement If this isn’t available natively, I’d love to know: What reporting setups others are using to solve this Whether this is only achievable through custom reports or API pulls Thanks in advance

Hey, I’ve realized that when more than one profile is granted to managers/power users, it is very hard to find their direct team members’ approval requests. Sometimes, they have hundreds of pending requests on the page, which can be frustrating for them. I was wondering if it is possible to add a “search” bar to make it easier to locate team members’ requests, or some kind of “filter” section to be able to search for the direct team members on the "My Team's Training Approval" page. Thank you in advance for any solution or idea I can get.

Where does the “Ask the Expert” questions go? I thought they were sent to specific people?How do we know when someone puts a question into “Ask the Expert”?

Has anyone experienced an issue where scheduled reports that are disabled in production, are still being sent from the sandbox environment, even when the recipients in the sandbox are disabled? Is this expected behavior?In the past, when we requested a sandbox sync with production, we were not aware that scheduled reports needed to be manually turned off in the sandbox after the sync.Thanks in advance for your input!  

We have set up groups that are aligned to service contracts. If a user moves from one contract to another, they will be required to complete different training. How do we remove a user that is no longer aligned to the group?

We have an ILT course with one session and event in it.When it was added to a new channel and catalogue an orange warning icon appeared next to the event which displayed ‘External Calendar Synchronisation Warning’ when hovered over.The warning icon has now disappeared, but does anyone know what it might have been triggered by? Or if it is likely to have any knock on effects?

I need to know a way to reset a training material for multiple users at once. I have an issue where I have changed the course status on compliance courses for hundreds of users from “Completed” to “Enrolled” so they can retake the courses for this year. The reassignment worked but if they have completed the course previously, the system is remembering their progress for the training material itself - meaning it opens up to the end, remembers their score for the test the last time they took it, and automatically marks it as complete. I found a way to reset the training material individually through the Report tab for each course but that is not something I can do for over 300 people over multiple courses. If there an easier way to do this or has someone found a workaround?
