Hi Docebo Community,I’m reaching out on behalf of OWL Services. We’re currently exploring ways to build a centralized Knowledge Base (KB) for our technical training content. While we don’t have a traditional KB platform like Confluence or Zendesk, we’re curious if anyone has used Docebo’s Library, Channels, Pages, or other features to mimic a KB experience—particularly for technical or field training content. Our goal:Benchmark any use cases or companies that have leveraged Docebo to create an accessible, searchable, and intuitive space for users to reference technical documentation, job aids, how-tos, etc.—especially for just-in-time learning. We’re also open to hearing about alternative tools or integrations others have used alongside Docebo to meet this need.Appreciate any insights, lessons learned, or examples you’re willing to share! Thanks so much!

I swear we could do this - I even advised that we could do this...but in 2025? I cant find anything recently pointing at the capability of mapping a branch to a default language (so when we map individuals - we map them to an appropriate experience 99% of the time). What we have been doing is sending people along to a branch that has a somewhat mixed experience inadvertently. A task widget that was customized in English need to be customized in Spanish is where we need to go with this.Lets say I know where to do the customization. But how do we map people appropriately to the correct preferred language based on the branch (for those slower on the uptake)?

Morning - wanted to check - this really hasn’t happened with us ever.Have you all ever had the automation app completely fail on all files?Anyone running the automation app in the US East “region”?

For those of you who use your platform externally with e-commerce. What type of Marketing strategies or 3rd party vendors have you had success with?

Anyone else experiencing a tremendously long delay between uploading new SCORM files (replacing current ones) and then actually having it show up in the system?

Greetings!I am working on engaging clients that haven’t accessed our LMS at all, or in a very long. Before I put together the text of an email that would be sent to a client’s point of contact, I figured I’d check with you all since you have been so very helpful in the past.I am looking for messaging that:Entices the point of contact into they themselves, as well as their users, engaging with the LMS.Entices the user into selecting a user of theirs to be a Power User. Thanks for your time. I greatly appreciate it!~B

Our safety department would like to keep records of the dates and locations of fire drills on Docebo. Since we don’t have a specific lists of participants for the building fire drills, I’m not sure how best to track this in the system. We could list the fire drills as ILTs and bulk enroll anyone that works in a given building, but that may not accurately represent who was physically there for the drills. We could create the ILTs, but not enroll anyone, but then it makes it seem like no one participated, which isn’t accurate either.I was thinking we might use the “observation checklist” function to track dates/locations of fire drills, but I’m not sure how best to set that up in the system. Any additional advice about how this type of staff training without individual records can be recorded/reported through Docebo would be much appreciated. Thanks!

We have a power user who gets an HTTP error every time they try to upload an MP4 into a course shell. It is not an issue with the MP4 file because other users can upload the same files, and if we log in as the power user, we are able to upload MP4 as well, so we know it is not anything to do with their profile.  Also, they are able to upload SCORM and AICC with no issues. So we are wondering if it has to do with something on the user’s computer?  Has anyone else run into this, and has any idea on what might be the cause?Any help will be appreciated! Here is the error:

Hi everyone!I’m curious — is anyone here currently using microlearning in their LMS? If so, how are you facilitating it?Would love to hear about the tools, strategies, or best practices you’ve found effective for delivering bite-sized learning content. We toyed around with idea and started creating shorter courses in RISE.Thanks in advance for sharing!

I'm evaluating a learning operations suite called Cognota.comI was wondering if anyone else ad looked at Cognota. It has some I terestibg features like project management, ROI reports, request tracking and L&D planning. I could tack these items manually, but Cognota appears to have these items ready to go.

Greetings!Has anyone figured out a way to build an ad-hoc “Trending in Your Network” channel/course catalog that shows the courses, learning plans that are most viewed? I assume this can be done by manually researching what are the most viewed courses, but it’s 2025 and I was hoping not having to do that. Thanks!~B

Hi, I just opened ticket #1107630 with Docebo regarding users showing 100% in the courses in a learning plan but the LP is showing in-progress.Other users have completed the LP in the last few days. The example user completed the LP on 7/22.Docebo said it was a known issue and the fix is supposed to be deployed on 8/11/2025

Be aware of changes to the Observer Checklist listings after the July update.Prior to the July 2025 update our Observation Checklists referenced the user’s first and last name in the listing for manager or observer’s checklist. Now it references the observed persons username. We use employee number for username, resulting in a significant impact. For example: | John Smith | Peer observation of George Jetson | Completed 01/28/2024Now shows: | User 339956 observed by George Jetson | completed on 07/22/2025

We noticed an issue after we transfer an automatic group to a PU. When a new user is added to the LMS where they would normally be automatically added to a group, this process stalls behind a rule that says the PU must login before the user is placed in the group; and this could take up to 1.5 hours after the PU has logged in. I asked support if this is just a one-time thing or every time a new user is added; I have no reply to that question yet but from what we observed it happens every time. I was hoping to challenge this with the product team as it makes no sense to me that a PU must log in in order for a user to be placed in the proper group(s). Tired to explain that a PU may be away on vacation or leave and if we don’t deliberately fix this, the user remains in limbo until the PU logs in. Seems like very poor logic that will and already caused many issues. They say it works as expected. Has anyone noticed this behaviour? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks everyone.

Hello fellow admins! Please vote for these notification improvements! (Reduced Functionality) Can’t activate/deactivate a notification directly on the notifications page. (Reduced Functionality) LIMITED filter options Still can’t search for a notification assigned to a specific course/LP so you can identify which notifications are assigned and need to be archived.  Add an EXCEPT filter for course & learning plan selections - allowing us to assign a notification to ALL current and future courses EXCEPT the selected few. Hey everyone,I think I have finally grasped how menus and hierarchies work. However, as we continue to expand and develop our platform, I’m running into some challenges and wanted to see if anyone has suggestions to successfully manage them.We typically have two types of users (learners and managers) and each has both a “default’ menu and a “hidden” menu. Each “default” menu controls what is in the hamburger menu, which includes their “Learner/Manager” landing page. That’s all working great. However, we are now having scenarios such as a special group that needs access to a specific special page. That group of users contains both managers and learners. The only way I’ve been able to figure it out has been to create a copy of both of the “default” menus, permissioned to the special manual group I made, which adds the special page to the hamburger menu. Both menus have to be copied because learners and managers have different landing page dashboards. Is this the only way to make this work?

Is anyone having issues access their usage dashboard? When I click on it, nothing happens and the page is not showing up. I’ve logged out and logged back in and it’s still not working. 🤔

Can you have multiple checklist observers?

Hello! I’m looking to see if there is anyone here who has pulled training data for EcoVadis. Due to the criteria they require, I’m trying to identify the best way to get the information they need (standard reports don’t work due to requiring statistics, company logo, etc.). Thank you in advance!

We are mid-implementation and we are finding that our SCORM 1.2 courses developed in Captivate 2019 are not offering the user the option to Resume Where They Left Off.We have verified that the courses are published with bookmarking turned on. Has anyone had this issue? Is there some type of log so that we can see the bookmarking data being sent by the course to Docebo?Any help or Guidance would be appreciated.

Hello,We’ve been experiencing an issue and we’d like to know if this is happening to anyone else. We have a ticket in, but no resolution yet.We have noticed that around May 15th our new users that come in via SSO from Okta, are getting added to the platform, except they are not being added to any of their automatic groups. There are two major issues we have identified here.If a user is not added to the appropriate automatic group(s), any enrollment rules that should happen when a new user is added to the automatic group is not firing. We can manually add the users, but that defeats the purpose of having the automatic group and it also takes up a lot of our teams resources.  If we have scheduled reports based off of automatic group(s) instead of branches, then the reports do not have the expected data. We have nearly 30k users in our platform and if we can’t get automatic groups to work correctly, we will have to spend all our time manually adding people to enrollment rules and reports,

Hi everyone - in another lifetime, I worked with a team to develop an app to help check people into ILTs.I do love that a workflow for working with QR Codes that an instructor points out during their engagement will help to “unpair” what used to be a corner with Learning Evaluations and is coming along to Go.Learn.But this represents just one workflow when it comes to ILTs and helping to reduce the burden with checking people into/out of learning events.  A question - is there any interest in other ILT checkin workflows?A few examples - is there interest in a workflow fora person that is walking into a training event to enter an identifier into an iPad to be verified at the time of checking in? a person that is walking into a training event to sign into a traditional sign in sheet that has an identifier that can be scanned in later (meaning a code is scan-able along the line that the sign-in sheet has the person’s name)? an instructor or proctor scans a person’s badge before they walk

Hi everyone,This is our first full year in Docebo, and my team’s first time going through a Learning Plan reset. I have a plan and have been testing it in Sandbox, but I’m worried I’m overlooking something and will find out what it is the painful way. For those of you who have lived through this process, can you review my proposed plan and poke holes in it? Overview:We have several divisions in our company, and each has multiple Learning Plans for their different service lines. In total, I’d say we have at least 100 Learning Plans (including new hire learning plans and annual), and each one has very complicated enrollment groups/rules that I don’t want to have to tinker with. Some of our courses are on multiple learning plans with equivalences, so I’m also concerned about making sure I’m doing those steps in the best order so that the enrollment status is correct. Our Subject Matter experts are mostly keeping their plans the same, but we are probably replacing/adding around 30-40 course

I had a SME approach me and wanted to think about trickle curriculum with deployments having after an alotted timeframe. After the persons first day at work. After the persons first 30 days at work. After the persons first 90 days at work. Lets keep it simple and say they would be delivered a course at that particular time. Is that all achieved with prerequisites????
