Hi, Our training department is starting a customer podcast that we want to host on Docebo. Is there a way to post mp3 (or any audio file) to display in a player and display show notes for each episode? Or do you just have to link Docebo to a podcast hosting site (like Anchor)? Maybe Manage Pages?I saw this Docebo blog post and thought it might be possible to host the podcast in Docebo, but I just cannot figure out how.Thanks,Andrea
Has anyone successfully used the external training app recently? Anyone feeling super helpful and want to test theirs?I have successfully used it in the past to test, but now that I am ready to upload all of my data I cannot get it to work. The .csv appears to be formatted correctly. I can import the file and see all of the data on screen, but as soon as I click ‘Next’ everything disappears, never to return.
I need help or suggestions on a problem we are encountering:Here is a little background - All of our courses (both e-learning and VILT) require payment. We do allow our clients to purchase subscription licenses so that users can enroll into e-learning courses for free. But all of our VILT courses require payment no matter what. Also, each of our client groups have a power user that has certain permissions to help manage their own users. We normally allow our power users to enroll their users who have subscription licenses into e-learning courses, which is fine, since they have purchased the course through the subscription. Since the ILTs require payment, only end users should be able to enroll into them after they complete the purchase process. We want power users to still be able to see the courses, so that they can pull reports on those courses if they need to.Today we noticed that one of our power users was able to enroll people into an ILT course that requires payment, but the
Hello! I was wondering if anyone has ever used CSS to modify the view of the in-line slides within a course. Ideally, I’d like to remove the back/forth navigation at the bottom of the slides and instead have it on the right and left side of the slide. (I’ll attach a picture for reference). I’m not entirely sure if this type of training material is customizable or if it’s a fixed/set feature from Docebo. Thanks in advance!
For our business, our PowerUsers are administrative assistants (secretaries) whose job it is to create training courses for employees to review changes to procedures or policies (i.e., Rev 0 to Rev 1 to Rev 2, etc.) There are no test questions associated with this type of course. Although, Docebo allows PowerUsers to have access to the Question Bank. This poses a huge security and visibility risk as only our Training and Development Team should have access to the Question Bank. Our questions have been vetted by our SME and should not be altered by anyone other than the Training and Development Department. See image below for more detailsWhen I remove their "edit" ability, the Question Bank is removed from their view but then they are not able to create the training Course. Therefore they need to have “CREATE”, “EDIT” and “VIEW” in order to create a Procedure Revision Course. SysAdmins and/or Instructors should be the only personnel allowed to see the Question Bank.Is there a way
I’ve recently set up our first Channel for one of our Business Practice Areas. The thought is to compile recorded sessions into buckets based on topics. There are 7 different topics under which the recordings will be house. I created 7 playlists and put on average 3 recordings into each bucket. The problem is that you see the tile for the first offering but I can’t view the content for the rest of it. As an Admin, I can see what is there but a user cannot. How do you view the playlists as a user? Am I missing something super basic? Thanks, All!
We are in the process of updating a few of our Learning Plans. I struggle with creating a bunch of new ones (because filters and sorting isn’t ideal). Anyway we have run into an issue where the majority of our staff all need our New Hire Learning Plan, however, we have one course in there that some will not need. Because the course is in the Learning Plan, we can not enroll the individuals from the plan, and we can’t suspend it, or the Learning Plan will never be “completed”. How do you all get around this? Do you have different Learning Plans for everything? Do you enroll the one single course outside of the Learning Plan for those that need it? Looking for options!
Wondering if anyone in the community can tell me how to change the “Answer Now” in the Q&A feed widget to “Reply Now”. I tried changing all the Answer Now in the localization tool and none of them seemed connected to this particular location. Does it need to be done through CSS? If so, could someone help with the code? Thanks!
My team conducts weekly live webinars for new customers. I’m trying to figure out how to import each week quickly, without having to edit any week individually/manually. As far as I can tell, each weekly “session” is also an “event” - there’s effectively no difference between the two, since each week only has one event. Is there any way to import both sessions and events at once? Alternatively, if I set the Session UUIDs when importing sessions, can I then import events assigned by Session UUID and have them populate the correct session? Or am I going about this all wrong in the first place?
Our onboarding program for our professionals has several phases:Complete Learning Plan A Ride along with Mentor 2 weeks Complete Learning Plan B (enroll 2 weeks after completing Learning Plan A) 60 days after completing Learning Plan A they need to be enrolled in Learning Plan CI keep telling myself there has got to be an easier way to automate this, but I’m stuck.I can assign them to a group based on completion of a learning plan.BUT to use the date they completed the learning plan I have to EXPORT a report out of Docebo, in order to Import it into a Custom User Field. (Seriously I have to take it OUT of the system in order to put it back IN the same system?)Then the group condition is based on a set date and I have to change that date EVERYDAY manually.Couldn’t there be a condition for X days After Date? I think I can set up 2 certifications based on Learning Plan A, one that expires after 14 days and one that expires after 60. But I don’t see how to create an auto-enroll or group b
Hi Docebo Community! Does anyone have best practices for naming conventions of ILTs? Our previous LMS only had the course name and then date. I’m curious how folks are differentiating between event & session and if you’re even adding dates to the name? For example, if we run a course called Feedback Skills every so often both virtually & in-person I’m thinking of following the pattern below: course > sessions > events Feedback Skills > virtual > June 29 Feedback Skills > virtual > August 5 Feedback Skills > in-person > Oct 2Or is it confusing to have the date as the event title since the date appears anyway? How are other folks doing it? Thanks for your help!
We migrated to Docebo from our previous LMS about a year ago and are now working on a rollout plan for Coach and Share. Since our previous content creation was purely course driven, I am struggling to determine when to use assets for pre-existing resources vs a course. Is there a comparison chart between the twoor some best practices of how you utilize both types of content?

I’m trying to re-arrange the order of the subscription bundles on the Subscription Plans page but can’t figure out how to do it. It looks like the they are presented in reverse order of creation (most recent is first) but I want to be able to push an older plan to the front so people don’t have to scroll to see it.For example, there are 4 bundles available but only 3 show on the page at one time and I want the last one to be in the first position when the user lands on the page.Am I overlooking something in trying to do this? Anyone have experience with this?Thanks!
I’ve been down this road before but never while the Community has been active, so looking for creative suggestions for an issue we run into when an employee needs to redo training. We have a Learning Plan for some IRA content our staff are required to complete prior to an ILT session. The plan includes 5 eLearning sessions. The case we have now is that an employee completed all the eLearning sessions and went through the ILT training. However, they aren’t retaining the information and need to be put back through it. The staff will be required to redo all eLearning/LP prior to getting reenrolled into the ILT Session.Without deleting the tracking of the original completions, how do you all handle this situation. I know I can create a new Learning Plan, but the courses are still the same so it will recognize their completion. Which means I will have to create new eLearning Courses, rename/restructure just to allow the system to track, is there an easier way?
We want to add a weekly enablement session to Docebo so managers can track who attends these sessions. Is it possible to set up a single event within a session to be recurring? We are integrated with Zoom, and I know that I can edit the Zoom meeting to be recurring; however, I don’t think that Docebo would respect that. In this case, would we have to create individual events for each week? Thank you.
Hi everyone,I need some insight and clarification on Tests and the Question Bank.Background info: I have 30+ ILT courses. All courses have some sort of test. The test questions all get saved in the Question Bank. I’ve instructed my team that if they need to change the questions on their tests, they should unlink the one from their test, add a new one, make sure it is categorized correctly, and push it to the question bank.The reasoning logic behind un-linking a question and leaving it in the Question Bank was because I thought that it would retain the answers from previously answered tests. This would basically give us an archive of our previous tests and learner’s test records. (rephrase; I thought the version of the test the learner took would record to their training record to refer back to how they performed on the test)Example: We have a class on “how to process a loan”. Does anyone know if it is possible to run an interaction report that shows you the answers each learner submitted for each question in a SCORM package? I see that the data exists because I can drill down to this level by each learner, but that is very time consuming. I want one spreadsheet that shows each learner, the question, the answer they chose and the correct answer.
In our courses we want to include links to .pdf files for downloading; however, we are concerned about users sharing the files once they are downloaded. Does anyone have a solution for tracking/securing files after they are downloaded from Docebo?We are aware of the slide converter option; however, these documents will be used for open book exams, so they have to be available for printing.Currently, we are adding a copyright watermark, and potentially adding a bates number, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you.
We currently use the Go.Learn Mobile App (which is not a branded mobile app) and did not know that the Biometric Login is only for customers who have a branded mobile app. I feel that this feature should also be included in the Go.Learn Mobile app as well.I did put this in the Ideas - LMS-I-445 - if you want to vote on it.Let me know what others think about this.
