Ask the Expert - Selected Channels
Hi,Does anyone know if it is possible to select a custom range of channels that come up when a user “Asks an Expert?” We’ve got lots of channels but want to show the Q&A widget for only a certain group of them, and therefore the drop down box looks really confusing at the moment when they go to ask!
Shareable link to the rewards shop
Hi everyone! We’re preparing to go live with our Gamification, Badges, Point/Coins, and Rewards shop. We want to include a shareable link to the Rewards Shop in the Badge Text box. Something like “Congratulations, you are awarded X points/coins! You can redeem them HERE” (this would be a hyperlink directly to the rewards shop). When I pull the URL of the Rewards shop directly from that page’s address bar it’s grabbed ashttps:blahblahblah/training/legacy/lms/index.php%3Fr%3Dsite/index%26opt%3DfullrewardsshopWhen clicking on that link, it redirects to an All Channels page with a Whoops, there’s nothing here message.So… any ideas of how to get a proper shareable link? Thanks in advance!
ILT through MS Teams
I have 2 things we are seeing, wondering if there is a setting I missed. We are doing ILT through MS Teams. 1st thing is Instructors have to be enrolled in the ILT session otherwise the join webinar button doesn’t appear.2nd and biggest issue. Users joining the ILT session late or if someone leaves and comes back it is creating a new Teams meeting rather than joining existing session. Same experience user to super admin.Hoping someone can help correct these issues.
Hi, I’m wondering if there is a way to create an onboarding dashboard for new managers, but once they complete the initial courses, they are moved to a new dashboard. I want to guide them on what courses need to be done first, but it seems they’re never really sure with all the options!
Point to Coin Conversion in Gamification
Hello Community! Our company is in the final stages of launching Gamification officially, but we are having trouble determining how the system converts points to coins so that we are appropriately allocating for the Reward Shop. We first opened Gamification a couple of months back to see how it works and didn’t connect to the Reward Shop and we found that some users seem to have a 1:1 coin vs point ratio, while others don’t. I don’t see where the system allows you to manage that, perhaps in another area of the Admin Menu? Any insight on this would be super helpful, thanks! - Danielle
Extended Enterprise and deep links to courses
I am experimenting with using a deep link on one of my courses that is part of a specific tenant in Docebo Learn. When I create the enrollment link I get the URL for the Docebo instance, rather than the URL for my tenant. I don’t seem to be able to edit the URL, and when I use it, it brings me back to the login screen (for our instance). The self-registration option has been removed from that login screen because we need all users to be in a tenant branch.Are there any options for me?
Ask the Expert and Mention Features in A Channel
I understand that Channels are intended for informal learning and more engaging interactions. But it seems like there’s no way to enable the “Ask the Expert” and “Mention” Settings when adding an eLearning Course to a Channel. I thought that’s the purpose for allowing to add a course to a Channel so that users can interact and comment on the course that we want to. My question is, then what difference it’s making by adding a course to a Channel? I can’t wrap my head around it. If there’s a way to enable the features (for a eLearning course added to a Channel) it would be wonderful!!!!
Enrolling a group into a course
Hello,I added a blank group to an enrollment rule so I could mass enroll users into Compliance Courses. From what I’ve seen on here, the system will only enroll “newly added” users.I added the group parameters after the group had been added to the enrollment rule, so shouldn’t the system see these newly added members as “New Users” and enroll them into the proper courses?
Hello Community! We have some trainings that our users reference often, and would like to ‘favorite’ them. Is this an option in Docebo Learn? Is there a way to set this up? It sounds/loks like this is something that is available with Discover, Coach, and Share- but want to check in and ask about functionality? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you!
Choose Notification for course enrollment
Hi all, I’m working on creating a notification that I can use to notify individuals when they have been enrolled into a course, however I’m only able to create a “blanket” notification. I’ve turned it off as I don’t want my part of the org to get spammed everytime they are enrolled into a course. I was under the impression when you manually enroll users, you can select the Notification type you want to send, however our platform shows nothing for step 3 of enrollment and we click next and we are done. I checked the Enrolling Users into Courses – Docebo Help & Support article and it says that it will only show “Digest: User enrolled into a Course” notification. Screenshot:When I look at notifications to make, I don’t see that one as an option, just “User enrolled into a Course”. Note that I did confirm the “Send immediate notification digest on the masive enrollment action” is selected in Advanced Settings.Anything else I am missing?
Browser Tab shows URL instead of Course Name
Is there anyway to make it so the platform will display possibly the course name instead of the URL in the Browser Tab?Here’s an example of what our tabs looks like when you have a Docebo LMS tab open from any perspective (SuperAdmin, Power User, User, External User): I obfuscated details for obvious reasons. Here is the what a tab SHOULD look like imo:The tab has the name of the page you are on. I would expect the platform to do something similar with like Course name. Thoughts, tips or tricks, anyone?
Costly Reprecussions of VILT Cancellations & No Shows
Hello Fellow Admins, We offer a variety of VILT courses (we do not charge employees within the LMS) that are fairly costly. We are constantly experiencing employees canceling last minute or not showing up, which is a big issue.What does your company do to help avoid last minute cancellations and no shows from courses that cost the company money?The options I thought of are adding a “Last Day to Cancel” notification. I also thought about turning off the ability to unenroll from the session and change sessions, but this would apply to all course sessions at all times. I wish there was a way to prevent unenrollment X days before the session start date.Any ideas would be really helpful! Thank you!
Notifications/E-mails - HTML template
Hello,How good are you using the notifications for Chinese/Japanese languages?Our emails supporting to Chinese/Japanese language font types/styles doesn’t look good compare to other languages. It seems like a phish/scam emails. We don’t want to give a bad impression for China/Japan users. I use the same source code from English language to others. It works well for all languages except China/Japan. Can any one can help me with HTML/CSS template to use the unique font style/type respective of all languages?
Sharing content between docebo instances
Hello - I’m curious if curriculum and learning assets can be shared between two separate instances of docebo. Our usecase is we may have multiple instances of docebo, with separate content libraries, but would like to share particular assets between them.Thanks in advance.Michael
Can class attendance be auto-reset?
We have ILT courses that become very specifically “relevant” during certain business phases of the year. This is to support activities that we want our managers to complete. We just entered another phase and scheduled new ILT sessions. Here’s the issue - we have managers to have attended before who would like to attend again to refresh their memory on the topics involved. But they cannot enroll, because they have a completion already recorded. We don’t want to have to remove the existing completion - that’s not fair and accurate reporting. Is there a way for them to re-enroll without a) losing their previous completion or b) having to manually make the change (ultimately, we don’t know how many will want to retake). Communication has already gone out - so creating a duplicate course is not an option (and that would create confusion in the system, too).This is also NOT a certification. It’s an optional course.
Accessibility: Hide courses that are part of a learning plan
The “My courses and learning plans” page in user accounts show both learning plans and individual courses that the user is enrolled in. Some of the individual courses are part of a learning plan and they appear both as an individual course and in the learning plan. Some of our participants in one learning plan have cognitive disabilities that make it confusing for them to see courses in two places. Is it possible to hide courses from the “My courses and learning plan page” if they’re already part of a learning plan? This way, users only see the learning plan and navigate to individual courses from there.
Course completion - user indication that course is completed
Hi, Can you please add a message for course completion once the mandatory part of the course activity is completed? currently if there is an end object marker for specific material there is no completion message related once you completed this training part. users are not sure what to so and whether the training is completed. I have also opened a support case for it #237075 . Thanks. Limor
Bulk completion for training material with SCORM package
Is there an option in Docebo to perform a bulk completion of users when the training material is a SCORM package? I know that we can change a user’s status from the Enrollment screen, but it does not appear to change the status of the actual SCORM package.
