Approving Observation Checklists
Does anyone know how a manager views and fills out an Observation Checklist? I have created the OC, assigned the manager, and created the notification. The notification goes through and the manager receives email/bell notification, but cannot get to the checklist to actually fill it out. Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!
Most active learners report? What are your favorite custom reports?
Good morning! We are three weeks from our soft launch and while our team is still learning about all of the features, I thought I would reach out to this group for a question I can’t find an answer to elsewhere. What is your favorite report for finding your most active learners, or do you use gamification? The Branches report (when switched to user view) show the individual courses users have taken. The Users report - shows the users/data/ The Courses report - seems to show only the courses. How can I pull a report that shows me a roll up per user of the courses they’ve taken (by branch)? Bonus question: Do you have a favorite custom report you’ve built?
Enrollee in Learning Plan, is not in courses
Hello,I was under the impression that if you enroll a user into a learning plan they will automatically be enrolled into all the courses in the learning plan. I did enroll a user into a learning plan and user is not showing up when i go to course enrollments. Any idea why this is?Thank you.
Training Material - Multiple Issues
Hey all - We’ve run into a few issues over the last couple of days - does anyone have work arounds for the following:Surveys: don’t allow you to input answers for use - is anyone using these with success? Observation Checklist: Don’t have values tied to answers to be able to score Cannot see all answers in reporting Can not permission to groups to be observers Quizzes: Can only hold most recent score - does not hold all attempts - essentially only reporting one score per user Does not report how students answer each question to see if there is a trend in a bad question Any help or solutions are appreciated!
Our company hires weekly, as a result each week we get the latest and greatest spreadsheet with all of the newest employees to upload into Docebo. As we add more users to Docebo and into Groups (Ops, HR, IT, General Population, etc.), is there any automation or dynamic way that the users are next enrolled in the Courses that their groups are assigned to? Or do we have to manually add all the new users to each group every week.What has worked for you? Thanks
How have you created Dashboards?
I was under the impression that we could create custom Dashboards. Is this possible? I am not finding a dashboard engine anywhere. I saw something about creating a custom page and using widgets, but the widgets don’t have the information I would want in a dashboard. How have you all created Dashboards for HR Directors, L&D Directors and Professionals? I would want to combine statistics on usage, completion data on high visibility initiatives, onboarding of new EE’s. Is this possible within the platform?
Nested Learning Plans
That’s my first post in this community, please be kind :DIn my company (software editor) we are building several learning plans (several product lines) targeting different profiles (experts, architects, presales, operators, ...).We want to build a modular approach where one learning plan could be embedded in the learning journey of several profiles. For example, we add a new training material in a learning plan “API Fundamentals” which is embedded on several API related profiles. This modular approach is crucial to the maintenance/improvement/new topics of the content. Think of this as an Object-oriented approach in software development as an analogy. This is crucial to avoid maintenance nightmare as we are starting to experience right now. This is why I was naturally thinking of building Learning Plans as the building blocks and then being able to nest these into my profiles Learning Plans (sort of Meta-Learning Plans). Assigning Same Courses to Multiple Power Users
Good day - I have some power users who want some visibility into course completions. The courses live within two course catalogs, and are the only courses within said catalogs. Unfortunately, functionality isn’t the same when assigning a catalog to users as it is when assigning learning plans. When you assign a learning plan, the user receives access to all courses within that learning plan. When you assign a catalog, this is not the case.The only way I can see to accomplish this is to go through and manually assign the courses (there are 20 of them) to each of the power users. This quickly becomes a burden when you have dozens of power users you need to do this for. And unmanageable when you have hundreds.I cannot assign them based on the automatic assignment if visible, because these users don’t need completion data for the dozens of other courses they have access to and it will make the data irrelevant without having to export and scrub every time.How does everyone else manage
Hosting Podcast on Docebo
Hi, Our training department is starting a customer podcast that we want to host on Docebo. Is there a way to post mp3 (or any audio file) to display in a player and display show notes for each episode? Or do you just have to link Docebo to a podcast hosting site (like Anchor)? Maybe Manage Pages?I saw this Docebo blog post and thought it might be possible to host the podcast in Docebo, but I just cannot figure out how.Thanks,Andrea
External Training App
Has anyone successfully used the external training app recently? Anyone feeling super helpful and want to test theirs?I have successfully used it in the past to test, but now that I am ready to upload all of my data I cannot get it to work. The .csv appears to be formatted correctly. I can import the file and see all of the data on screen, but as soon as I click ‘Next’ everything disappears, never to return.
Power Users enrolling people into ILT that requires payment
I need help or suggestions on a problem we are encountering:Here is a little background - All of our courses (both e-learning and VILT) require payment. We do allow our clients to purchase subscription licenses so that users can enroll into e-learning courses for free. But all of our VILT courses require payment no matter what. Also, each of our client groups have a power user that has certain permissions to help manage their own users. We normally allow our power users to enroll their users who have subscription licenses into e-learning courses, which is fine, since they have purchased the course through the subscription. Since the ILTs require payment, only end users should be able to enroll into them after they complete the purchase process. We want power users to still be able to see the courses, so that they can pull reports on those courses if they need to.Today we noticed that one of our power users was able to enroll people into an ILT course that requires payment, but the
CSS formatting for Slides in Training Material/Course Management
Hello! I was wondering if anyone has ever used CSS to modify the view of the in-line slides within a course. Ideally, I’d like to remove the back/forth navigation at the bottom of the slides and instead have it on the right and left side of the slide. (I’ll attach a picture for reference). I’m not entirely sure if this type of training material is customizable or if it’s a fixed/set feature from Docebo. Thanks in advance!
PowerUser Profile - Remove access to Question Bank
For our business, our PowerUsers are administrative assistants (secretaries) whose job it is to create training courses for employees to review changes to procedures or policies (i.e., Rev 0 to Rev 1 to Rev 2, etc.) There are no test questions associated with this type of course. Although, Docebo allows PowerUsers to have access to the Question Bank. This poses a huge security and visibility risk as only our Training and Development Team should have access to the Question Bank. Our questions have been vetted by our SME and should not be altered by anyone other than the Training and Development Department. See image below for more detailsWhen I remove their "edit" ability, the Question Bank is removed from their view but then they are not able to create the training Course. Therefore they need to have “CREATE”, “EDIT” and “VIEW” in order to create a Procedure Revision Course. SysAdmins and/or Instructors should be the only personnel allowed to see the Question Bank.Is there a way
I’ve recently set up our first Channel for one of our Business Practice Areas. The thought is to compile recorded sessions into buckets based on topics. There are 7 different topics under which the recordings will be house. I created 7 playlists and put on average 3 recordings into each bucket. The problem is that you see the tile for the first offering but I can’t view the content for the rest of it. As an Admin, I can see what is there but a user cannot. How do you view the playlists as a user? Am I missing something super basic? Thanks, All!
Rename "Answer Now" to "Reply Now"
Wondering if anyone in the community can tell me how to change the “Answer Now” in the Q&A feed widget to “Reply Now”. I tried changing all the Answer Now in the localization tool and none of them seemed connected to this particular location. Does it need to be done through CSS? If so, could someone help with the code? Thanks!
vILT Course Sessions/Events CSV Import
My team conducts weekly live webinars for new customers. I’m trying to figure out how to import each week quickly, without having to edit any week individually/manually. As far as I can tell, each weekly “session” is also an “event” - there’s effectively no difference between the two, since each week only has one event. Is there any way to import both sessions and events at once? Alternatively, if I set the Session UUIDs when importing sessions, can I then import events assigned by Session UUID and have them populate the correct session? Or am I going about this all wrong in the first place?
