Does anyone know if it’s possible to generate a deeplink directly to the course player? (Skipping the enrollment / catalog page altogether)I’m able to retrieve this link from the console when I open the course preview but this link only remains active for a short time (less than 24 hours). Wondering if there’s a setting to make it persist or generate a URL from the API that always plays the course content immediately. Thanks!
Hello, I am very new to this community and I am struggling with this issue (maybe it’s super basic question...);how can a power user change enrollment level of a user from learner to instructor?As a super-admin I can see the dropdown list from the edit menu in the enrollments tab, however power users can only see ‘learner’ but instructor or tutors.Is it just not possible?Thanks!
Has anyone else seen an issue with reporting of Asset Access?We are seeing reporting of users accessing assets moments after the channel and assets are uploaded, when they couldn’t possibly have even known they existed. All of the users seem to be from the same organization, and the report shows they accessed 5-7 assets within about 5 seconds. We use Channels and the Coach and Share feature instead of SharePoint because of the promise of reporting. But I haven’t been able to trust the reporting on this yet. Any ideas or shared experiences?TIA!
We’re using the platform for in-house programs and I’m thinking through the learner notificaitons. I’m hoping someone can answer my question.I upload users into the system and they receive the welcome LN that says IF you want to access your materails on-line, please create your account. It takes them to their dashboard which only contains the course materials (there will be no ILTs as it’s in-house). The other Learner Notification they’ll receive is the evaluation at the end of their final in-house session.Question 1: if the person did not want to create an account, will they still be sent the evaluation notification becuase they’re in the system?Question 2: Is there an email confirmation that automatically sends but only IF they go ahead and Log-in, creating their account? (I can’t seem to find one.)Question 3: How do I notifiy users with an evaluation email (with link) if there’s no ILT session to attach it to? We are moving towards going live with the Wire Transfer feature of the platform (we have it set up in our sandbox currently), but I’m running into an issue with the Notification.I have the notification mostly built, but where I use the short-code [bank_details] in the notification, no information is populated for that short-code when I use it. I have the bank account details filled out on the Wire Transfer configuration screen, but are the bank details supposed to be coming from somewhere else in the platform? Is there something I need to configure in the localization tool?
Hi everyone,We just moved along with leveraging duplicate groups for the first time and we had a problem we seem to be running into unexpected mappings that are happening when we map by hand a group to a learning plan.Has anyone else run into that?I have 15 people in a group that I mapped this morning - it some how brought in 81 people. I am now going to be doing service recovery for a better half of the morning.Any ideas other than put in a ticket.(I promise I am taking my regular meds this morning - lol 😁).
I was assigned to decebo just last Friday and have zero experience with this tool. My task is to add a second Domain to the Extended Enterprise. Our parent company has a well established decebo implementation in Europe.Extended Enterprise is enabled and I have gone to the manage link and added our domain name and attached to the Branch that was created. I am not clear on the steps to make this work? I have watched the university course and read the documentation, but not connecting the dots. Our goal is to have SSO for our users and a seperate catalog of course managed by the US based team.All input/assistance is appreciated.Regards,David
We have an in house Excel course that gets lost in the search function amongst all of our LinkedIn Learning content. I want to be able to boost our live Excel course above the many many LinkedIn Learning options. We have Excel in the name, in the course code, in an additional field for the course and none of it seems to get it before the 20th option. (Only one of the LinkedIn Learning courses uses tags) Is there a way that will be as effective as tagging for ILT? Thanks!
HiI’m trying to create a notification for users to see which courses they have yet to complete. There are only five courses to complete. I would like it to have images of the courses and say either complete incomplete. I thought I might be able to do this with digest notifications Digest: Learner has yet to complete a courseHowever I’m currently stuck on what [items][/items] means in the notification. So I’m not getting very far.Here is what Docebo have to say on the issue in the LIST OF NOTIFICATION EVENTS AND CONDITIONS“When using shortcodes related to the elements belonging to the list of items reported in this notification, enclose them between [items] and [/items]. Other shortcodes can be left outside those tags. The [items] and [/items] tags define the list of courses or items that are automatically populated by the system and are already listed within the notification body - these shouldn't be amended when setting up the notification.” Any ideas on how to do this or how to use t
I’m testing notifications and found another glitch. This time I’m setting up a digest email for channels and it’s saying Roles are N/A, but yet it’s asking me to pick roles when I click the schedule link. When I click the edit link, it won’t ask me. So strange. Here’s a screenshot:
We are looking to make our video training materials more user friendly. We utilize Vimeo links for most of our video and are considering increasing our license to include chapters and leverage the interactivity now offered by Vimeo. Want to make sure the investment is worth it. Are chapters in Vimeo supported by the Docebo player?Is anyone using interactivity in Vimeo? Does Docebo player support the interactive elements or strip them away?
Is there a way to change the end date of all the courses included in a LP at the same time? I know I can change the validity of the end date of the LP, but it doesn’t seem to affect the end date of the courses included when I go to the user personal summary.Any other way to do that?Thank you!
I created a widget page and added the Activity Stream widget to the page. The Activity Stream shows all activity that is happening within Docebo. Is there any way to change the Activity Stream where it will only show activity that is happening within that specific widget page?
I have a group that wants to assign training based on ‘Who’ the manager is.For example all direct employees under Jan Doe would automatically get assigned training.I’m not seeing in creating groups a way to add field ‘Direct Manager’ I also don’t see in custom report that I can filter a report to only display everyone that is under a particular manager or managers. I am aware of the My Teams and we do utilize this. But curious how anyone handles outside of the direct manager assigning themselves but auto-assigning. Thanks!
We want “Session Link” instead of Course Link in the calendar attachment.When the learner attends multiple sessions within one ILT course, clicking the course link may confuse them as they’ll always go to the earliest session.Is there any way we can edit the message with shortcodes inside the calendar attachment?
Hi Community, Is there a workaround for Power Users to download Custom Reports from Courses that aren’t visible to them? These are paid courses, so they’re don’t have permission to enroll users in these courses, but they still would like to see their progress as the company paid for them. If I create a custom report as a Superadmin and make it available to the Power User, they get the report empty. Thanks for any suggestions!Roberto Lopez
Hi community,I have a bit off issue, we yearly create a new course for some for a ILT/ Classroom we do.These courses simply but are marked Course 2019, Course 2020, Course 2021, etc.Since the content of these courses as the same each year, we set them equivelant to each other.So if you followed a course in 2019, automatically you pass any of thenew courses when they are released. The only issue we have with Docebo Learn is that the user is still able to select session of one of these new courses. Which we don't want them to since they already did the course in the past.For registration it is important to move them to the new course each year, as it is part of the learning plan for that year. Is there anyway for us to prevent these users from selecting a course once they are released. Theorectically we could create a dummy session and put them all in this, but I don't think this is nice solution.Thank you all in advance for your feedback and ideas.Bart
