When I started in the business of learning management 8 years ago, I didnt know how to say no as effectively or as eloquently as I do today. It was a workflow to support a team in a lab collect that essentially had a quarterly “competency checklist” in a PDF format. That PDF was going to be attached as an assignment and used a step that wasn’t really a full workflow, but one that helped to support a one time vetting of the PDF attachment by the supervisor.Well...I can tell you...it only kinda worked….I didnt even know how to talk to the “consulting services” portion of the team...I only knew that I was only praying that my customer would not adopt because it was awkward at best - and it would have been a huge lift to keep supporting it.What makes it intriguing? Is I wanted to support a workflow that wasnt even close to making really good sense inside of the learning system….and when it was demoed? People were polite but were able to poke holes in it pretty quickly.Eventually, the lead
The below results are from the week of November 22-26. Well, it was a short week for all of our American members as they celebrated Thanksgiving but that didn’t stop our top 5. Take a look at who landed in the top last week! The top 5 from the leaderboard last week were:@lrnlab @alekwo @JZenker @Alan @natemadel Way to go everyone! @Alan, congrats and welcome to your first top 5 finish since we started these weekly leaderboard updates Welcome to our newest membersEven though it was a short week for most, we had 73 members join our community! This steady growth is outstanding and we are grateful for every new member. Shoutouts to @tancar and @mcinty43 for posting their community intro. Whether you are new or have been here for a while, you can post your intro at any time. It’s a great way to read (and ) snapshots of your fellow community members and leave your own. Leveling UpIt was a quiet week with our level ups but we still had 7 members take their rank to the next level @
Evening. To get us where we are today, I had to go through a vendor review to show due diligence to a group of executives that were going to be tasked with a purchase decision. I walked key features with each vendor, watched and listened carefully…and acted as a primary vetting agent of the experience. And a whole category was dedicated to reporting. What I found strikingly odd was seeing a concept missed. 3 of the 4 products bypass an opportunity that may seem weird if you have never seen an LMS do it, but when it works? Not only is it elegant? But then people get what learning management really is at its core. The idea is having a group-centric “report” get reported on for its completions in a pull scenario where people are not mapped (subscribed) to a learning object. Here is the scenario:Put a course into a catalog that is visible to everyone allowing for a “pull” by learners to happen People begin pulling it You get a request to run a report to see who has and who has not attempted
With the new feature to be able to add the option of showing courses and learning plans that are not enrolled by the user, in a channel I am not able to view the Channel option in the Advanced Settings. The response from the help desk is it must be CSS. I am not all that familiar with CSS but wondered if someone could help me find the actual CSS code to try and get this to show for me to turn it on. I can see it in the sandbox and the settings for CSS are the same there as in the production but for some reason I am not see it in production.
The below results are from the week of November 15-19 It was a close race to the finish last week in our top 5. Check out who made it in as well as our new members and all of those that levelled up The top 5 from the leaderboard last week were:@alekwo @dklinger @JZenker @lrnlab @Jessica Overby Congrats everyone! Your engagement last week landed you all in the top 5 Welcome to our newest membersLast week, we welcomed 74 new members! Also, shoutout to @gstager for taking the time to introduce yourself to the community. I must say, your interesting (yet little-known fact) is VERY cool! Leveling UpOk, I knew this community was special but last week proved just how special it really is. We had members level up in their ranks last week!!!! This is the HIGHEST number we’ve seen since starting these leaderboard updates back August! Just for fun, I took a look back at the very first leaderboard update and do you know how many members leveled up? If you guessed 5, you’re right. We are
Hopefully there is a coffee pot next to the water cooler… Informal dialogue while we sip from our cups…When you make a course in Docebo - what percentage of it is made up of say… SCORM files that you built with a third party authoring tool and what percentage is made up using native tools within Docebo? What, if any, criteria do you have for deciding when to make a quiz with your preferred authoring tool vs building one with Docebo tools?
The below results are from the week of November 8-12. Well, it’s better late than never, right? It was a big week in the community last week with the launch of our new ideas experience. Thank you so much for your patience during the idea freeze and we’re so happy to see all of the voting, sharing and new ideas being submitted inside the community!Without further ado, here are the results from the previous week. The top 5 from the leaderboard last week were:@natemadel @lrnlab @dklinger @alekwo @Loupetron@natemadel @lrnlab @dklinger @alekwo are no strangers to the weekly leaderboard but we welcomed a new member for the first time since we started this weekly tracking at the end of August. Welcome to the top 5 @Loupetron! Great job everyone Welcome to our newest membersWe hit an all time high for new joins in a week, as we welcomed 168 new members. Wow, right!? The reason for this massive spike was due to the fact that any migrated ideas required an associated community member account.
I want to make sure that I am following something before I trigger a bunch of course equivalents.Lets say I have 2 courses. Both Course A and B have the same training material (not a copy). If a person completes the training material in A - are they already done with training material in B?Another way of saying the same thing….If meeting the completion criteria of a training material drives the completion of Course A, will a person being done with training material in Course A mark that training material in B as completed and ergo mark B as completed as well?
More of a heads up to those who are affected:This last week we noticed there was a large number of our users being placed onto waitlists for our e-learning courses. This was never an issue before, so we found it strange that it was happening.Reached out about it on chat, and sounds like it is a known issue (currently affecting a small number of clients) that when a power user enrolls a user into an e-learning course, it will place the user on the waitlist, rather than making them subscribed. We found this with enrollments that occurred between the 4th and 5th last week, but I guess it still happening?Workaround is to turn on the permission for a power user to manage a course waitlist (Courses>Waiting Subscription).Anyone else experiencing this?

So, if a customer has previously submitted an idea and/or vote that is part of the migration, a community account is required in order to successfully attribute their idea data. We’re excited to have all of these new members with us and can’t wait to launch the ful

Hello Docebo Community, I would like to know how many of you use Training Units. We recently migrated from Cornerstone and would like to use the Coupons in place of the Training Units. If you use Training Units, we have a ticket open on the Ideas Portal. We could use your help to get Training Units implemented in Docebo. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Kisha
Hello,We are in the process of moving from Cornerstone to Docebo. We are looking to see if someone has been through the same migration and what was their experience like? Anything to watch for between these two platforms? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Good morning, everyone!A few of us “met” at Docebo Inspire and would like to have an Austin-Area/Central-Texas Docebo User meetup/happy hour.Drop your info in the comments if you’re interested, and I’ll put a poll together for date/time. And if we get enough interest, maybe we can become our very own Docebo Group!I’m Lea. I’m the Superadmin for SurePrep Academy which serves both employees and clients at our SAAS company. We launched April 1st and are slowly building our user numbers. We are entering our busy season, so I’m anticipating some rather large spikes soon. I was previously in higher ed and was an admin and training coordinator for both Blackboard and Canvas at UT. I’m in NW Austin but south of the Domain, so like NW Central. ;)

We are about to launch Docebo in our company, and are trying to think of creative ways to implement different contests and strategies to encourage a high level of user engagement. We know that there are gamification and forums that can be used, but were also interested in using polling.Does anyone know if there is a ‘Polling’ feature available in Docebo? Note: We have not added the ‘Discover, Coach, and Share’ feature yet. Thanks!
