How to convert csv/xls to GIFT for Test Questions?

I’m finding that Docebo only supports the GIFT format for import of questions to tests, but that format is not common among other LMS and test providers for export in my experience (more common is word, csv/excel or QTI). Does anyone know of any good tools or tricks to convert from csv to GIFT?

Hello All, We have recently started looking for LRS Possibilities in Docebo and have the below questions.Can anyone help answer these? Does Docebo has their own LRS (learning record store) functionality, or is it required to use an external vendor ? Can we keep TinCan courses in Docebo with connection to external LRS, or do we have to upload courses to LRS and connect them with Docebo? Are there any business cases where such functionality was implemented ?

Learning plans prerequisites

HiI have searched throughout DC and see that there are several posts regarding Learning Plans as prerequisites.  Hoping to find some updates re this issue.essentially, I want LPa (5 short courses) to be completed during induction process which then opens LPb.LPb has several courses (order of completion is not relevant) which has a time frame of 2 weeks upon first date of LMS access (day of induction).  If users do not complete all courses within LPb what are the wider ramifications; are the courses archived and re enrolled (too much admin for all this to occur).  ALPc is released open after LPb is completed and the user has six months (start date from first date of LMS access which is induction day one) to complete.  This marks the end of probation period where LPc completed status is reported to HR as user being compliant.Issues I am thinking are around validity times and users not completing in due time.Thanks for helping me brainstorm this one out.

Possible to rearrange the order of pinned posts in community hub?

When pinning a post in the Community Hub, the most recent post that is pinned appears at the top of the selected space. We have community guidelines and featured posts that we would like to have remain at the top of each space. As we pin additional posts, it moves all other pinned posts down. We found we have to unpin and re-pin any post that we want to appear at the top of the space each time. It would be helpful to allow administrators to select the order in which pinned posts appear within spaces. Has anyone else experienced this and have a better solution than un-pinning and re-pinning the posts?

How to suppress Instructor names on Course summary screen using CSS?

Hi - Wondering if anyone knows how to use CSS to hide the Instructors listed by default on the course summary screen? The attached image shows the Instructors highlighted in yellow. Many of the instructors are not with the company any longer and we would like to just have the list suppressed all together if we can find some CSS to do that. The only other solution I currently found is to unenroll the Instructors, but we don’t want the active instructors to be displayed either.Thanks for any ideas!

Offered By field when sharing badges

When learners share their earned badges on social media, it provides a link for viewers to click and see the badge details themselves (see image). Within this link there is an Offered by field. Where/how do I add our company name so that it appears under Offered by??

Hiding Outdated option

Is there any way to hide the option on the course mini-menus to “Mark as Outdated”? Client either wants a text entry for the user to enter (already upvoted that idea) or for it to go away.

CSS No Longer Working

Hi, my first post here, I’m hoping you can help!Back in July, my company’s course player looked like this:You can see that I used CSS to remove “File” and “SCORM” from below the module title. I also used CSS to replace the default images, depending on the lesson status. Now, Docebo have done something to the course player with an update in September (https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/19807231971474-Product-updates). Now, the course player is different and my CSS is having no effect and it looks like this: There are now thumbnails instead of the pink status icons, the status is shown by text in the pinkish background, “File” and “SCORM” are shown and the default images are back too.  Is anyone facing this issue too? Does anyone have a fix to revert back to how it was? Thanks

User Authentication for AICC Course

HelloI have (what I thought was a) super-simple use case which I am struggling with in Docebo.I have a Docebo instance setup using SSO (JumpCloud is the IdP) which is also integrated with Slack.  The Slack integration appears to drive the format of user ID (firstname.lastname) rather than email address which would ideally be used. I have an external vendor which the Compliance team are using for mandatory eLearning courses.  The same users exist in the LMS of the vendor and also use SSO to access (again using JumpCloud as the IdP).  The user ID here has been set as email address.I have a learning plan in Docebo which contains initial content for user onboarding - various SCORM modules, a couple of videos from senior leaders, etc.  I then need to include the courses from the vendor. I want Docebo to remain as the front door for learners for this.I assumed (I never learn!) that my tasks for the integration would simply be:Export the courses as AICC from the vendor Update the userID attri

PU enrollment approval

HiI am wanting to grant permissions to a specific PU group to be able to enrol and approve course enrolment into a course as a Direct Manager of their team.  This is to prevent user from self-enrolling and be paid for unnecessary training.I can see the notification for: User waiting to be approved in ILT course.But I would like the option of a notification that includes both ILT and eLearning courses.Is this feasible, or have others found a work around for this.  Currently we have an extra admin load with excessive emails back and forth.

Instructor course management

Hello,my question is: Is there a way for instructor to be assigned a course automatically when they are enrolled into them as an instructor?explanation:When i add a user as an instructor to a course, it seems like it only enroll him like he was a learner. I need to go add the course in his assigned ressource on his power user profile for him to be able to access the course management options. I find this a little bit challenging because I then need to be up to date for every instructor on what class they are teaching and adding them to their profile or even if I assign all course if i add a new one i need to update every power user profile. Thank you

Adding PDF files to Notifications

Hello,I believe it would be highly beneficial if the Notifications feature allowed the addition of PDF files, rather than being limited to links or text. Currently, it seems that we are only able to include links or images, but the ability to attach PDFs would be a valuable improvement.

Notifications filters - which group or branch is selected

 This enhancement request may already exist, but I didn’t see it.Under Notifications, once you select your desired group and/or branch, when you need to circle back to it, you can’t easily tell the name of your selection without search guessing or clicking through the pages to find your selections.  It should be setup to allow the admin can see the selection on the main page with an option to add / select others to the list.

Is there a way to retrieve skills descriptions?

To start off with I know there is an API that will retrieve the details of 1 skill but we have 345 (80 core skills) so I really need to find a way get all the skill descriptions without doing each one individually in an API (api-browser/#!/skill/Skill/Skill_skill_v1_skills_skill_id). I can get all the skills their codes and id’s thanks so a very talented team member SQL database and PowerBi. So if that is required I have that information. Is there a report I’m missing or maybe the API is hidden somewhere? I’ve looked everywhere I can think but I just keep hitting brick walls as far as the skills are concerned.Any ideas gratefully recieved.

I’m working to understand how we can leverage the Skills feature in my organization.  I see that I can create skill sets, and add skills to the skill sets.I see also that I can create an AI based channel that will auto-fill according to the skills associated with courses or external content (via the internet). Two things that I am having trouble with - There is a Platform Catalog, and then I see a catalog with my company name. But I cannot seem to add anything to the catalog with my company name.  When the learner logs in and is asked to build their skills profile the first thing they are presented with is a list of jobs to choose from. Where can I find the jobs list, and can I edit that? If I’m going to use this in conjunction with our career planning programs, it would be helpful to be able to put our own job titles in for an optimum user experience.

Import Users Via CSV - Settings Changed to SAML?

We have been using the AutomationApp to pull employees via CSV into Docebo for over a year. This week, I noticed new employees being added with missing fields and alternate usernames. Upon checking the Audit log, it appears the User creation switched from the AutomationApp to SAML SSO. Any ideas how or why this changed? I’m still receiving successful CSV import notifications every day, and the SAML SSO user created time and date match what would be expected via the automation.  Audit log screenshot below, with redacted user information. The red box is the latest user creation actions, and the green is what is desired.

Scheduling Automatic Course Enrollments

Good morning ☕Still getting used to the Docebo platform coming from another LMS. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations for my use case. From what I have seen, there is not a way to schedule an enrollment so (for example if I need something assigned on a Saturday when I am out of office). I’ve played around with the idea of enrollment validity so the content wouldn’t be able to be started until the date set, but would be “enrolled” in the locked content until the start of the validity period. The only issue with this I’ve experienced is, our standard email notification has a "Take me to the Course” button to start the learning and this seems to bypass the enrollment validity. Any suggestions or recommendations on what’s worked for you?

Automated reporting for test data

Hey all,New to the Docebo platform and still working out some kinks.We have some power users expecting to receive automated reporting for quiz/test data. Specifically to allow them to see which answers were correct/ incorrect and their final score.The data from the course reporting within the “training material statistics”  is perfect, as it lists the questions out and shows how the learner answered. Is there a way to automate this report with the internal tools or would it need to be collected manually?

Good day all, Have been looking at Skills Management with the intent to use it soon but am thinking there is an obvious gap (or perhaps I’m looking in the right place) when it comes to reporting…Does anyone know if there is a way to report on what skills and levels users have self-identified? We are thinking of using this as something close to competency assessments but without reporting and progress tracking/tracing, it won’t be useful.Wondering if anyone is actively using Skills and what your experience is like…Any tips and best practices to share? What feedback have you received from users? How are you managing/tracking user input vs. what skills you attach to courses & assets and how do you know if user training is making any difference to enhance a user’s skillset? What gaps are you seeing? What, if any, improvements would you like to see to this product? (I know custom skills is top of list for many)I appreciate your feedback and comments. Thank you.

"Scroll down for more" animated graphics for communicating to users

I get a lot of complaints that users don’t know about scrolling down on the home page, and also that users don’t scroll down for pdf attachments in courses. Does anyone have a good way of indicating “scroll down for more” maybe with animated gifs for these two scenarios? Off to write some css.. lol For my homepage it could easily go below (or above) the user profile image and name.
