When importing users via CSV, manager permissions are not mapped correctly
Hey Folks, When we import our users via CSV, we have the Update information for existing users ticked and we have our Manager names mapped to a direct manager field. But there are still some people who manage teams we have to manually update one by one.Does anyone have suggestions for what we may be missing when importing our users?
Power Users landing in the waiting list for courses when enrolling in a Learning Plan
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?We have this issue: some Power Users when self-enrolling to a learning plan, find themselves on the Waiting list for all the eLearning courses in the LP. The courses are open enrollment and there are no pre-requisites in the learning plan.It’s been happening randomly in all learning plans for some power users for at least the last six months.We have had several support tickets on it and so far we do not have a solution or a cause that can be determined.I’m just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Maybe we can compare notes on the characteristics of the users and the learning plans.
Global vs. Catalog Search
As I search the knowledgebase, I am unable to locate an article that distinguishes catalog search from global search. After testing, it appears that global search performs differently (more powerful) than catalog search. For example, searching in global brings tags into the fold when returning relevant results, but catalog search seems to ignore tags and only prioritize title + description. Is this true?We are moving toward the decision to suppress global search and rely solely upon a catalog search for our learnings, so it would be helpful to understand search functionality in catalogs to help inform our content strategy.
Looking for a Free Voice over tool
Hello Team, Giving a brief intro about my organization : New to Learning and Training. No Prior experience to trainings, E learning, LMS. Few employees new to Training as a concept. Now my concern is: We are about to launch our Docebo LMS this week, we don't have any licensed authoring tool or any apps to create e-learning.I have a few PowerPoint presentations Which I would like to upload on the LMS after the launch, I want to add voice over using an app which has various accents (considering we have employees from various locations). Also, the files should be compatible with Docebo.Looking for your suggestions for free tools that I can use for same, also want them to be user friendly for our SMEs who aren't that tech savvy.ThanksAmi
Experience with Docebo for Microsoft Teams Integration
Our IT team wants us to move from our current web conferencing service in Docebo to Microsoft Teams. Reading the Docebo for Microsoft Teams integration documentation, only an account paired with the Docebo for Microsoft Teams integration can be the organizer of an event. However, we use shared mailboxes for LMS services like the help desk and, up till now, web conferencing. But Microsoft Teams accounts can only be created for users/services. Does anyone with experience using the Docebo for Microsoft Teams integration have any issues with revealing the meeting organizer's identity? Overall, are you satisfied with using Teams with Docebo? Or would you prefer something like Zoom if you had the choice? Would it be worth the effort to fight to keep what we have?Tusen takk!

I’m using the Shape trial to see if it’s worth buying to go with our LMS. So far I can’t upload a YouTube video to it to create a Shape project. I have ensured that the transcript is showing and I’ve copied a link from a publicly available YouTube video. I must be missing something very obvious.
API To Extract Learning History

Ability to combine all training undertaken (whether internal or external) in a report?
Unless I am missing something, there is currently no easy way for a user to see all of their training in one place. We do a lot of external training that users add themselves (for example attending relevant webinars, talks, reading material etc). This is not controlled by us, and is a part of their CPD requirements to maintain their lawyer certificate.When it comes to proving to the regulator all of the training they have undertaken, they have to ask us to pull a report off (which means pulling off an internal and external training report and combining them). Which is hard work for 1000 odd people.Short of using the APIs (we don’t have the skill currently to leverage these), is there another way a user can get their own as a report?
ILT Sessions - Line Manager able to view details?
Hi EveryoneIs it possible for line managers to see the actual date(s) when an ILT session is scheduled to take place for a member of their team?The User Personal Summary shows when the person was enrolled on the ILT session but doesn’t state when the ILT is scheduled to take place. Many thanks
Course Management: Enrollment Tab Columns
I see how to change the columns that display each time you view the Enrollment tab under Course Management. Sadly, Support confirmed that we can only have 9 columns available.Is there way to update the columns that display by default? For example, I’d like to have User Status always showing instead of Level since Level adds no value to the information the tab displays (at least for us).
Linked Learning Plans - Delaying start of second Learning Plan
Hi EveryoneI am new to Docebo having just been released into the wild by our consultant last week!!We have two Learning Plans each containing three ILT courses. Learning Plan-1 must be completed before Learning Plan-2 is started.Once the last course is completed in Learning Plan-1, the Learner is not required to start the first course in Learning Plan-2 for a further 12 months (are you still with me?).Is there a way of creating a delay between Learning Plan-1 being completed and Learning Plan-2 being started? We’re trying to avoid having to set up reminders to enroll people nearer the time.Many thanks
If I change a badge’s point value will it update everyone’s points for those who already have the badge?
Hello, I’ve been giving people 1 point per course. Users say 5 or 10 would be more motivating. I’m cool with that. if I change my course completion badge from 1 point to 5 points will it give everyone 4 extra points for their past completions? Or will all past point earners be out of luck - and more importantly, those past point earners would be at a competitive disadvantage. make sense?
Allow learners to choose session with an instructor
We have a course that learners follow independently and then an instructor needs to observe them carrying out certain tasks in real time on an application. As learners go through the course at their own pace, it’s tricky to predict when we need to make instructors available. To make planning our side easier, we’d like to put something on Docebo that says “these are the dates/times that are available, choose one”. Only one person should be able to “enroll” for any given observation session.As the instructor only needs to observe the learner, there is no need for a webinar or teams meeting or anything like that - there doesn’t need to be any contact. Just a way to give options and have learners choose one and that option then not be available to anyone else.I can’t see an obvious way to do that in the platform. Does anyone have any bright ideas?
Robotic Process Automation for Calendar and ILT Creation: Help me brainstorm a $100,000 problem
Hello, My power-user external clients are less than thrilled with two items: calendar - they want one calendar view that shows available AND enrolled courses, and let’s users directly enroll or unenroll from the calendar. This looks like a massive dev cost for us potentially. ILT creation - pretty cumbersome. Cheaper dev cost to fix this.for both of these I’ve been looking at API work that’s all pre-written in code. I’m wondering if I’m looking at this wrong. could I maybe use RPA (robotic process automation) instead, and have users enter requests that are handled by clicking and typing by RPA? This would get rid of any need for API calls, and would allow me to perform actions not supported by the API has anyone gone down this route (RPA) and have possible advice for me from lessons you learned even if you did not complete your RPA project? technically RPA is not generative AI but I thought this was the closest fit
Past ILT Courses in catalog
Need some help on thisWe offer ILT courses once a month for different products and different topics.The course and any sessions or events are only offered once for the year, after that, it may not be offered again for the year or ever.However, that course shows up in the Course Catalog page for Instructor Led TrainingSince there are no sessions or events available for a user to select, this could be confusing to customers. They want to know why it is not being offered.I tried to mark the course Under Maintenance, but that removed it from view for others who completed the course. Those users who completed the course, still need access to the recorded training. How does everyone handle this or am I missing something?ThanksMichael
MS Teams Integration
Good morning,I’ve seen various topics on the community surrounding issues with Microsoft Teams integration, especially getting instructors to join as an instructor and not a learner.Has anyone successfully resolved? Been going round in circles with Docebo support and I utilise another bespoke system that we’ve successfully integrated into Teams without any of these issues, so I’m not sure it’s an actual Microsoft issue.The instructor has an Azure AD account, is added to the app / enterprise application, everything is paired within Docebo itself. Then whatever happens, they’ll always join as a participant. Thanks
Joining an MS Teams Meeting as an instructor
Hi,We have MS Teams working with Docebo, however, right now all participants, including instructors are joining as “learners”.In the documentation about MS Teams integration, there is a bullet in the Important Notes section at the end, which I’m having a hard time to understand:In order for a Docebo user to join a webinar as an instructor in Microsoft Teams, the account must be paired to an individual account in Azure. The Instructor of the session will be defined by the Azure-based Microsoft Teams account and the Microsoft Teams account created in Docebo will be used to launch the session.Can someone please explain this in plain English?What are the steps to have a person who is a course instructor join the Teams webinar or event with the right privileges?
Teams Integration - any tips?
After jumping through a lot of hoops with our IT team, I’ve been able to get the Teams integrations setup to allow us to schedule webinars directly in Teams Meetings. We’re doing some testing sessions to figure out what our process will be but it seems promising. Does anyone have any tips or watch outs they can share?For now, we’re just doing a Teams Meeting integration, not Live Events, but I’d be interested in any experience with Live Events as well. Thank you
