Hi Docebo Community,We’re launching our Docebo platform soon and I have a question about calendar functionality.We want learners to see ALL company-wide events in one place within Docebo, including:ILTs (in calendar) Marketing webinars  company-wide summit Is there a way to add ‘external events’ with a registration link to the learner calendar in Docebo? 

Hi all,     We dropped DCS from our program about 6 months ago and we still have a couple of channels on the platform. Each one contains a few non-SCORM e-learning courses with some training materials. In your opinion, is there any reason to keep channels like these around?  Thanks!

Hi there. Does anyone know of a way (CSS or otherwise), to remove the “(required)”, as highlighted in the below image, from every mandatory question in an observation checklist on the Go.Learn App? The fact that it says (required) next to the title and the repeat it again below (in the actual response area) is confusing people. They think they should be able to type in the title area. I’ve tried using the localization tool with no luck. Thanks in advance! 

Authenticated as a regular user, I want to get all the courses I have enrolled in and they should include the enrollment status as well.The only alternatives I’ve found are:Using /report/v1/mytranscript (GET). However, for some reason, it excludes courses that are of status “waiting”. Using the unofficial /loki/widget/v1/courses/{user ID} (GET) which is used in the Docebo UI. Is this safe?I know of /course/v1/courses/enrollments (GET), however, this cannot be called by a regular user (it leads to permission denied). This leaves us with no official, fully working, option that I know of.Any help appreciated.

I don’t see how to change the type of a group, though within an Automatic group I see I can change the users to “Manual Assignment”. We need to be able to exclude users based on a number of criteria. So we create an automated group with all that criteria, and we need another group created that excludes those in the 1st group. Since the only way to reference a group in group criteria is a manual group, we need the first changed to a manual group. I tried copying the group but it copies as automatic. Here’s the use case:Group 1: Course A & B enrollment statuses complete.Group 2: Course C enrollment statuses in progress, enrolled, waiting, who are NOT in group 1. Is my only option to create the automated group 1, export it to CSV, then use that CSV to create a manual group?

Hi Everyone! Is there a way to set up course expiration dates based on enrollment date? I am trying to set up an enrollment rule where when a new hire is added to a group, they are enroll in a course with 30 days from their hire date to complete the course.Thanks for your help!

Hi, I have a channel that is visible to everyone. Ideally, I would like to upload a new asset to this channel, but only have the asset be visible to one particular group of users. The new asset is on the same topic as those in the channel, but it contains information that is only relevant for the specified group. As it’s not possible to set the visibility for each asset, does anyone have an idea for a possible workaround?I know one option would be to create a new channel and restrict the visibility of the channel to that group of users, but this isn’t ideal as it may cause confusion due to all the assets being on the same overall topic. Many thanks! 

Happy New Year, everyone!Our company is currently in the process of selecting a new HRIS, and we are looking to move away from SFTP toward a more automated API-driven approach. As part of this transition, we are evaluating Docebo Connect to bridge the gap.I’m relatively new to the technical side of APIs, but I am working on building a business case for Connect. I’d love to hear from those of you currently using it.How has your experience been with "recipes" and maintaining the sync? Are there things you wish you knew before implementing? For those who chose Connect over a standard custom API build, what was the deciding factor for your business case? What are you using Connect for? Was it worth it?Our potential use cases:Bidirectional HRIS Sync: Automating user creation & profile updates and potentially sending completion data back to the HRIS.

Best practices or tips on widgets to use so learners can easily see upcoming sessions they are registered for? Currently trying the calendar and the “Task List” widget. In Task List widget, upcoming sessions are within a course that is “in progress” - looking for something more straightforward. 

I want to add four images (see image) in one row one a page and each one clickable to another page. Is that possible?  

I have a question on the highlighted portion of a recent Docebo presentation. See bellow. I feel like I must be missing something with the example. How do you “immediately” see a team’s completion rates? I’m interpreting “immediately” to mean “with no additional clicks”. I know you can see this information by going to the My Teams page, but I don’t know how to surface that via a widget on another page. Which widget does this? 

The recordings of a virtual meeting (we use MS Teams) are stored in the tenant by our IT colleague because he has added an interface there. But we in Human Resources don't have access to his tenant and naturally want to store the recordings in the system, but that's not possible if we don't have access to his tenant. Did you have the same challenge how did you fix it? Thanks for ideas and solutions :)

The Teams helpfile states that "Only the account that is paired with the Docebo - Microsoft Teams integration can be the organizer of an event."We’re currently in soft launch testing, and as the primary account Admin, I’m currently the only person who is able to manage breakout rooms in Teams and receive the post-event attendance rosters.This is unmanageable in a company of our size. We need trainers to be able to use breakout rooms and track attendance for their events, and we have a lot of them.Is there any way for Instructors to gain access to the organizer functionality without being the paired integration organizer as stated in the documentation? Has anyone found a workaround using the native Teams integration? The only solution we’ve able to come up with is to select Custom Tool in the Video Conferenc

We’re building out learning plans in our LMS and want to make upcoming training visible without allowing enrollment or purchase yet.The goal is to: Show users that training for a specific product will be available Clearly communicate that the content is coming soon / not yet open Prevent enrollment, checkout, or access until we’re ready to launch Encourage users to check back later (or optionally join a waitlist) Ideally, the learning plan would appear in the catalog with a status like: “Coming Soon” “Available Q2 2026” “Training in Development” without being purchasable or enrollable.For those who’ve implemented this successfully: How did you structure it in your LMS? Did you use visibility rules, custom labels, prerequisites, or catalog permissions?

I am archiving courses with thousands of users and it’s taking a long time. Of the three training materials associated with each course, two are replaced after the course has been archived. Is there any reason that I should NOT just remove those two that I’m going to replace before I kick off the archiving job? It’s a lot faster when I don’t have all of my training materials assigned, but I don’t know if I’m risking data integrity by doing this. If there isn’t a risk in doing it that way, I might just also remove the third one as well and assign it back from the Central Repository after the job is complete. 

Hey there Brains Trust,We have external providers deliver ILT and want to set up QR codes for user attendance but the instructors are not users in our system.Any advice on how to manage this?  We have an Outlook Connect recipe already established for users.

We are using the the AI creator as a content creator tool and once you have published you can still update the course in the AI creator in the central repository as far as we understand and push the “publish button” again. We realized that the updates are reflected in the Content Creator tool, but are not able to see for the enduser (in the course) until they clean Cache in the browser...at least this is my hypotheses.Are there any thoughts on this from the community? I understand that we should not do changes all the time once you have published - but the use cases i are quite wide and changes happen a ot of times:realized some typos etc  update of links to docments changes in structure or proecedures If this is not automatically updated - it really uses the “beauty” of  having a low threshold content creator tool- which is a really good way instead of going into a scormo authoring tools/ upload a new version etc 

We are in the process of implementing the Salesforce app, primarily to surface our partners’ certification status (done through completion of certification learning plans). I’d love to hear from those of you who have already implemented this. What advice do you have? Best practices? Things we should be aware of? Mistakes we can learn from? Thanks,Shannon

Learners are not allowed to change sessions or unenroll themselves. However, we want them to be able to view other upcoming sessions of the same course. The issue: Once they are enrolled in a specific session, they are unable to view other sessions.Were you able to find a workaround for this situation?Thanks,Ziv

Hi all,I need to expire/hide a number of Learning Objects.  I was hoping to use an API for this, I am not very familiar though I think I can feel my way through. The API is asking for the LO ID which I cannot find anywhere in reports, course extract, or a way to batch retrieve via API. There are about 150 LO’s that I want to expire and hide.  How can I source all the ID’s to update via API?  

We use the image widget on some of our pages because the entire image can be a link. We know the image widget doesn’t meet accessiblity standards. We have found this the best option based on what we are trying to accomplish.An October update allows alterative text to be added to image widgets. We want to add this for accessibility purposes. Unfortunately, a tooltip displays on the page when alt text is added to the image widget. We don’t want the tooltip to display. We don’t know CSS and were given something to try..pages-widget-page .single-widget img[alt]:hover { pointer-events: none;}This doesn’t work as it also prevents people from being able to click on the image, which is a link. Does anyone know of CSS that would prevent the alt text tooltip from displaying for image widgets AND allow the image to be clicked?

Is there any way to filter the visibility of ILT courses on whether there are upcoming sessions or not?  I have an ILT catalog, but many of the courses don’t have any upcoming sessions scheduled.  I want to use the catalog widget on a widget page to only list ILTs from the catalog that actually have upcoming sessions.For now, I’m not going to display the widget, just the calendar widget that shows upcoming sessions, but it would be nice to have the catalog widget visible.  Maybe this can be done with an additional field?

Hi,We have MS Teams working with Docebo, however, right now all participants, including instructors are joining as “learners”.In the documentation about MS Teams integration, there is a bullet in the Important Notes section at the end, which I’m having a hard time to understand:In order for a Docebo user to join a webinar as an instructor in Microsoft Teams, the account must be paired to an individual account in Azure. The Instructor of the session will be defined by the Azure-based Microsoft Teams account and the Microsoft Teams account created in Docebo will be used to launch the session.Can someone please explain this in plain English?What are the steps to have a person who is a course instructor join the Teams webinar or event with the right privileges?

It turns out Docebo does not log Test re-take information. So if one of your employees fails a quiz the first time, and retakes it a second time - the results from the first failed attempt are automatically over written. Absolutely unsettling but has anyone solved a work around? Any support or guidance would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone has solved this issue before. We are getting closer to producing certification courses with final exams, and when a learner fails the test, their enrollment status stays as "In Progress" even though the test clearly shows "Failed" with a 0/100 score. This makes it really difficult to identify who has actually failed versus who just hasn't finished yet, which is a problem for our compliance reporting and audits.I've looked through the test settings trying to find an option to automatically mark the course as failed based on test results, but I can't find anything. I also explored custom reports, but test-level data (like pass/fail status) doesn't seem to be available alongside enrollment data. I even looked into Docebo Connect, but there's no webhook for "test failed" that would let me automate a status update.The only thing I can think of is manually changing failed users to "Suspended" status, but that blocks them from retaking th
