Hiya,We’ve run into a challenge and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same and/or has come up with a fix. TLDR - Deactivating instances breaks the login page for front end learners, and we can’t redirect to the default platform login. We have an Extended Enterprise setup and we use our instances for client projects. Two projects are moving back to the main platform (Branch) and we’re in the process of deactivating the instances.For both of these projects/instances we need active learners to still be able to login via the main platform and we don’t want to have to email everyone and say there has been a URL change.Subdomain InstanceThis instance was setup as a custom subdomain and we use a domain registrar to create a CNAME record pointing to our Docebo URL. After deactivating the instance, when front end users went to the subdomain URL they encoutered a broken Docebo login page. Docebo support

Hi all. I am trying to create a course that finishes with a test. I want the learner to have an option to watch one of two videos before having access to the test. Nothing jumps out at me as to a way to do this, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas here. The videos are exactly the same, but in different languages. Thanks!

Hello Docebo community! I have a question regarding reporting on quiz answers. I am trying to use Docebo to do some user testing. I have set up a course where users complete a sorting activity, then watch an instructional video, then complete the same sorting activity again. The purpose of the course is to see if watching the instructional video causes people perform better on the sorting activity. Thus, I would like to compare people’s results from the first activity to the second activity.  Right now, I have set this up as a course with three separate SCORM files that I made with Articulate Rise. The first file is a quiz which contains the sorting activity, the second is a lesson which contains the video, and the third is a quiz that contains the sorting activity again.  I cannot figure out ho

As a requirement, we are trying to connect Docebo session with VMWare platform. Knowledge base articles explains how to do it in the portal. But the user requirement is to do it from the API call. After raising support ticket with the team, we got to know that this feature is not available in production environment. Hence sharing this to implement it in the future.

Hi there !May be you can help… I hope :) I would like to create a sort of CVdatabase for Instructor with some additional fields (like : area of expertise, skills...). It would be very helpfull for admin to be able to search an instructor who is the perfect match to ensure a training.So I have created additional fields and set the visibility for the Instructor branch. I was wondering if there is a way for the instructor to update those fields and to maintain data quality ? Because there is a lot of instructors in teh database and it will be very complicated for admin to maintain the data? Thank you very much, CG

Hi everyoneI have set up a custom report, using Courses - Users, to monitor completion progress on a specific list of courses.  I want to report on four courses, three of which are e-learning and one is ILT.Using FILTERS I have identified the four courses and selected All Types (Course Types).  However my report is only showing the e-learning progress.  The ILT course is not mentioned at all.What have I missed?

Hi. Do I need to create two User Enrolled into a Course notification if the course is being assigned to both users and power users? I read through the Notifications Knowledge Base article and believe this is what I need to do, but wanted to confirm before I possibly create notifications that I don’t need.  

Hi there,We have been given access to some AICC courses with the caveat that they must remain hosted on the providers site. Some LMS’s (Moodle for example) allow you to add AICC URLs directly as a learning type but Docebo does not. Not to be deterred, I ploughed on and discovered that I could publish as AICC with a URL via Articulate storyline and low and behold it worked! I am able to launch the material on the remote site. However, I get an error. The error relates to the lesson status communication between the two systems, specifically cmi.core.lesson_status. The admin of the provider site has informed me that the following are allowed: incomplete, failed, complete passed and not started.She also informed me that ‘sometimes it sends null which isn’t an allowable response. I can’t find what status is used by Docebo but I’m guessing it is null.I’m frustrated to be so close. Hi All,I’m trying to import 5 rows (Title Fields are defined as 1st row) from a .CSV file.Mapped out all the fields/columns required, but then receive an error file via email (another .csv) and all that appears in it is 5x ‘User does not exist’.All except 1 user already exists in Docebo (for testing), but even that one was not added. Any help is greatly appreciated! Hi, everyone.Has anyone used Go To Training and Docebo to manage their company/team’s training needs? We use Go To for some internal training and Docebo for external training and it would be great if those two systems could have two-way communication. Is there a way to integrate user records and course completion like the LinkedIn Learning and Docebo integration?Thanks!

We are in the process of transitioning from our current LXP.  We had several RSS feeds and Youtube Channels implemented for informal learning.  These items don’t need to be courses.  Has anyone implemented YoutTube channels or RSS article feeds (such as Harvard Business Review) as learning assets.  If so, did you use Docebo Connect to add as learning assets.

When I set up an Enrollment Deadline, will the user get reminders as the deadline approaches and when the deadline has passed? I don’t want the users to get bombarded by a ton of reminder emails. When a user is In Progress, what happens if I set an Enrollment Deadline?   

Hi, I’m in the process of developing a new course request collection technique. Right now, we are using a formatted word document to collect the data we need to build courses. While this works, the docs tend to disappear in outlook folders a week or so after the request is made. We want a centralized request forum. While we could use survey monkey, Qualtrics, or Forms, I was wondering if there was a way to integrate something like this directly into our customers’ dashboards? Has anybody done this? 

I have a SCORM module that I use in a number of courses as part of the various new employee orientation options. The module was uploaded to the Central Repository. How do I run a report on the SCORM module itself to see the finish rate by the various learning paths, or see everyone who has attempted the module in the various courses where it’s included without having to run the report course by course?Thanks!

Hi,Some of our users will reference a training after they have viewed it once and taken the quiz. If a user go back to the training and try to watch it again, does it erase their previous status and quiz score?

Is there a setting to notify the instructors when they are enrolled? If they enroll as a user, they receive a notification but they can not access reports.If I add them as an instructor, they don’t receive an email. The only notification I saw was for instructors to get notified when participants enroll and that’s not what I am looking for.TIA!

I have a role based page that is displaying three course catalogs as part of their overall learning plan to advance in their position. Some of the courses in the catalogs are not self-enrollable, they must wait until new cohorts start before they are enrolled. For my Power Users, they are able to see these courses in the catalog as locked. Which is what I want. BUT for regular learners, it doesnt show up in the catalog at all. Im trying to figure out how to make it so they can see the locked courses 

Hello all!My organization grants certifications in specific subject matters, which contain a mixture of eLearnings, webinars, and ILTs. In some cases, there are equivalent courses - for instance, a learner can take an ILT OR an eLearning. For this, we have set up equivalencies, where the eLearning and the ILT are equivalents to a “shell” course inside of the learning plan. The shell course exists since we are using Dynamics to send over enrollment info, and the choice of eLearning vs ILT is done on our eCommerce site.The shell course is an ILT with no sessions, and this works great for marking things complete, but our learners click on the shell course and become confused about how to access their equivalent course. We’ve put in instructions that the course of their choice is in their main dashboard, but this is still not enough. Is there a way to lock users out of clicking into the shell course, but still have it within the learning plan for completion? We are hoping

Hi,I am trying to create an onboarding dashboard for new staff. There are ILT courses with several sessions. If I use enrollment rules it will enroll user into the course not in the session. Is there an option to enroll learners into the latest available session of an ILT using enrollment rules? Thank you!

I'm having trouble quickly seeing within a course, what branches/teams have been auto assigned to that course. What's the workflow here? How can I see in a course what branches have been assigned, and which of those assignments are automated vs. one offs?

Hi all,We are going to be rolling out our first iteration of gamification in the next month. We’ve got our strategy planned on the Docebo end regarding how we’ll assign points and badges; however, we’re trying to find a solution for actually administering the shop itself so that the maintenance of inventory and shipping burdens aren’t too large for our admin team.Has anyone used a vendor in conjunction with points & badges in Docebo to get “stuff” to employees? Any ideas for best practices in administering a rewards program?Thanks in advance!
