We are trying to upload a second build of the branded mobile app to the iOS store. When I generated the new build (which had a different platform URL than the first build) the build number did not increment. Apple will not accept a build with the same build number and version number.  The instruction's from support say to edit the build number in Xcode. Our developers say you cant use Xcode to modify the IPA. They say you have to ‘hack’ the IPA to change the build and version number and are surprised that Docebo recommends this way. Has anyone else encountered this problem and have a solution to share? 

I need to create courses so that when the content is launched it uses a URL and takes the user to a 3rd party site where the content is hosted.  In my previous experience I could link a URL as content so that when the content was launched from the course in LMS, it took user to the destination via the URL.  I don’t see that ability with Docebo.  I could put a link in the description, but then we lose all tracking and completion info. Has anyone else done this?  Am I just missing something?

Hi there,  I am looking to roll out an annual training that will exclude the all new hires.I wanted to create a group of users to launch a learning plan for anyone who is in the system excluding new hires. so once the training is assigned to that group, will it reassign  after the data from the HR feeds to the LMS? if so, would deleting the group after the training has assigned affect the users who are in the learning plan from that group? will that assignment delete too?

How do you all track your New Hire sessions (the ones that are mandatory). For instance we have a Learning Plan that includes things such as: New Hire Welcome and Orientation Education Overview Products and Service Overview (and so on, there are 10 - 15 different sessions)Currently they are in the system as ILT Sessions and we create new sessions in each class for each new hire. This process is taking a LOT of time from my staff and I don’t feel it is efficient. We have looked into the CSV uploads, but those just do not seem ideal either, it makes us add the CSV for the Session, then the Instructors (which takes several tries often to get them to accept, then we have to create the events and customize and go back to mark completion). We are a small company with less than 150 users, I know some of you have HUGE user numbers, how are you doing it!? I am certain you are not all doing this manually! What can we do diffe

To get our users to click on the arrow to reveal their join webinar button we decided to add a banner with instructions to do so. The problem is that the image doesn’t stay within the course description box or even stretch to the end of the box to line up with the arrow we’re pointing to when the browser window size is changed.I’ve been trying to find a code or setting to fix it but I can’t seem to find anything. Is there any way I can fix it?As always, I appreciate the assistance!

Hello Community. So I have to renew my SSL certificate for my custom domain for the first time. I am not very technical so this process is not entirely clear to me so I came to the experts for help. Do I understand the steps correctly:Download the cert files for the renewed certificate Under Advanced Settings, under HTTPS, click to Remove Certificate I then reupload the new cert filesI am assuming the system will be down the minute I remove the certificate. As such I plan to do it off peak hours. Does anyone have a more formal procedure for this type of system maintenance?Thanks!

We have a strong need to have managers/ or power users self enroll a user/learner from the MY Team page into a specific session of a ILT course. We know the user/learner can self enroll into a session but can we get a manager/power user to do this? In power user permissions, in the drop lists, it distinctly says sessions not just courses. Maybe it’s the language that confuses me? Since is says ILT Sessions. Thank you in advance for any information on this. 

We have setup a number of custom email notifications, all in English (US). It recently came to my attention that some of our learners who have set their profile language to one other than English are receiving the notification emails but translated to their native language. I did some digging around and am seeing that some notifications automatically send a different email, provided by Docebo, based on their language. An example of this is the “User has been created (confirmed registration)” notification. If you create one of these notifications you’ll see that Docebo provides the email subject/body for all 36 languages, and there is no way to disable specific languages for this notification without disabling the languages completely via the Localization settings. But that also disables the UI translations, which we’d like to keep. 

Is there a way to pull a learning plan report that shows a list of courses within each learning plan?

I have noticed some new report fields in the “New reports”  statistics section% Of Course Consumed From The Launcher Time Of The Session Spent By The User From The LauncherI cannot find any details of what these are actually measuring and what is “the Launcher”? CheersGary 

So here’s a tidbit for anyone adding the Activities Stream widget to a custom page. While the documentation in the KB states: “This widget shows the user’s new enrollments into courses, and assets, Q&As and comments that have been published in the platform.”It actually does not include any comments made to assets or via the course comments or forum widgets. I filed it as an issue with Support but apparently it’s the documentation that’s wrong. We would love to have this widget show all activity including any comments on assets/courses. There’s a suggestion in the Ideas Portal LMS-I-3004 if anyone else would find this change helpful. 

Within our organisation Poweruser isn't powerful enough and SuperAdmin is almost too powerful for our day to day operational tasksI voted for the idea asking for and profile between poweruser and superadmin but keen to understand if others feel the same.Ideally we would like SuperAdmins set at branch level so that each branch could be “autonomous”Any thoughts ?

Has anyone had issues with the Zoom Integration when scheduling past Nov. 7th?We just figured out that when we schedule a session though Zoom it works fine, unless the session is scheduled past the next scheduled Daylight Savings Time. I’ve spoke to support and they indicated it was on Zooms side, but Zoom is saying opposite. I am stuck in the middle with no solution. All our sessions (after Nov. 7th) are correct in Docebo, but in our Zoom Account everything shifts by one hour. I have a video I can share, but the Community file restrictions won’t upload here. Thanks for any help you can provide if you have run into this issue!

Is there any way to send announcements to certain groups without having to schedule a notification? For example, if office hours are unexpectedly cancelled or rescheduled with a group within Docebo we will need a way to reach out to that specific group with that information. Any advice on how this is handled is appreciated!

Hi all! We have a fairly small user base (~130 members), and I’m just starting to look into the My Team feature. I do like the team dashboard, but, does anyone know if there’s a way to build and run reports on just a team? Our team leaders would each have about 30 members, and it would be great we could build some automatic reports for them to review. When I create a new report, I don’t see any “team” option. We also have some users who belong to two departments and would report to two different supervisors. This seems to break my relationship. Here’s what I’m trying:Bob → HR supervisor → direct manager → direct manager → direct manager/“CEO John”Bob → UX supervisor → direct manager → direct manager → direct manager/“CEO John” What I really want, is for “CEO John” to be able to drill down through all the different teams of teams. But with my structure, he can go through the teams, but he can’t view the Supervisors

Once a learner is in a Course in a Learning Plan the File Repository widget is not longer visible. Is it possible to link directly to content in the File Repository?If not, what are some best practices to get learners to the content in the File Repository?

Hey Community - Our instance of Docebo is an extended enterprise that exists on our parent company’s Docebo. We operate two completely different sites, however. Their’s is called “The Hub” and ours “Intelisys University” Right now, when users enroll in one of OUR certifications (learning plans), they are receiving the “New Course Enrollment” email but it’s branded with The Hub instead of Intelisys University. Is there a place that we can either make our courses only send confirmation emails with our branding, or if not, where can we turn these confirmation emails off completely 

When some of our learners move to a new office they have a new email/account identity and we have to merge their account to keep their past history.  I’ve noticed today that their additional fields and group membership (manual) are not being merged.  Is this something that others have noticed too or am I missing a step?Joanna

Has anyone set up the ability for the user to login with their Google and/or LinkedIn credentials? I have some questions. I can clearly see the benefit to users. Are there any cons? What about when the user’s email in Docebo doesn’t correspond to their Google or LinkedIn account, and they try to log in, what happens? I am having issues trying to test this in my sandbox, so I don’t really know what the user experience is like. I tried setting this up for LinkedIn and am getting an error about the redirect url being invalid. When I asked Support for assistance, I was told I had to go through my CSM and professional services for any SSO setup (which I will do) but I thought one could set up the Google/LinkedIn without assistance or extra services from Docebo. Has anyone been able to set it up on their own? While I’d like users to be able to have this convenience, I definitely don’t want to pay extra for it. Is there anything else I should be aware

Good Day,Is there a way to update/change an additional field? We have an additional field of employee status, but the employee status may change as the user progresses through trainings. Is there a way for us to utilize the additional fields this way? Or is there a known way or hack that anyone uses that will do the same thing? Thank you so much in advance!

Hello, I have a group that gets populated via enrollment rule. The group has certain guidelines for example users must be part of a specific branch, and an additional field must be populated with “New Hire”. And it works great. However, I need to add a branch but only to new users.If I update the group to include more branches, will the existing users in that branch also get put in that group? I’m trying to figure out if docebo is retro active and checks every user in the branch for this criteria. We do not want existing users. New users only. 

I have been tasked with running a report that allows the firm to see at a glance what courses (both ILT and eLearning) we have in a catalog without a user having to log in and physically look.I have been told this is not possible.  Has anyone found a way to do this at all?Note: we can’t just use categories, as some courses fall into more than one and you can only assign a course to one category. Thanks... Neil 

We have an All Staff Catalog and staff catalogs for each of our locations. We need a few people to receive the new course notification when courses are added to certain staff catalogs. I know I need to have a power user profile for these individuals so they are the ones that receive the message.I’m having problems narrowing the notification to only include the staff catalogs for certain locations. I’ve been trying to do this by selecting certain branches, but the notification is being sent when courses are added to our All Staff Catalog. I think this is because the branches I selected also have access to the All Staff Catalog.What am I missing? Is there a way to send the New Course notification for courses that are added to specific catalogs and not for every course added to the platform?

I know this used to be possible, as seen in the GIFs in this knowledge article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020084140?input_string=branchNow, though, there is no way to search for Branches when adding a user to them (after user creation) that I can find.Has this feature been removed or is there a better way to find branches to add users into them? I have over 10,000 branchesso clicking through the pages is not an option.
