Hi I am working on a new Docebo section for our internal contact center employees. Here’s our current situation:Mainly we use Docebo for the introductory phase of our employees. We have a database of courses and user, as we use a lot of the functionality of Docebo. Our needs: We would like to build a new Docebo site for a designated amount of employees. This site should be fully disconnected from our standard learning platform. As I was learning how to use Docebo on your “Docebo University”, I got to the function “extended enterprise”. I noticed that when using “extended enterprise” (different URL), I was not able to build a fully new page. For example: The point "Manage menus" does the same for both URLs. It is not possible to select different priorities for both sites. My goal is to create a new URL with a different home-page, but with some of the users from the “main platform”.
We have a power user who has been working on some course. They have been placed in a catalogue and that catalogue has been assigned to the top level user branch and all its descendants. We have the courses locked for enrolments but are published. These course will not show up in the global search and i cant work out why. They appear in the search for me (as a super admin) but for standard users they do not appear. What setting has been missed and is it all at all related to that fact its been a power user working on the course.
Hi All - I can’t seem to find clarity on this issue. I’m using the automated notification “learner has yet to complete a course.” It seems to be emailing all learners who have NOT completed the course, including “deactivated” users who happen to be enrolled in the course. There is no way to “filter” out deactivated users when setting up the automated notification. Is this how it works? Any advice you could provide is greatly appreciated.
Looked through the community and some great ideas for modifying the calendar on the home page. The one thing I don't like is that there are no date ranges for creating an event, which leaves blocks on the calendar. I want to clean up the calendar and instead of just having days that have a single block in them, I would like one single line that goes through that week. Has anyone done this before thanks?
Hi there,Recently I’ve been messing around with the Docebo API and trying to enroll users into a learning plan using the endpoint POST /learningplan/v1/learningplans/enrollments. The API enrolls the user into the respected learning plan but the big issue that I am running into is that courses associated with that learning plan are not being assigned. I am sure this has to be a bug or an error on the API’s end. I would love if anyone can confirm.Best regards,Parth
For example:We have a major speaker who authors many courses named Dan Elzer. Both Adobe Premiere and Youtube typically interpret this as Danielle Sir (or sometimes just Danielle).I assume Docebo gets Danielle as well from the mp4. Does Docebo also scan my corrected .vtt file and get Dan Elzer? And, perhaps even intelligently recognize that Danielle should be Dan Elzer in the docebo tagging transcript, so searches for a hypothetical speaker Danielle Sirta won’t get directed incorrectly to the Dan Elzer series, if that makes sense.
Hey guys! My creative juices are running out! Does anyone have a fun contest idea they would be willing to share? We are trying to create a content for October that will focus on Information Security Awareness Month. We have a series of courses, articles, videos etc. But I’m struggling to think of creative names, could I see what types of contests you have run and how they worked for you?
Can you upload more than 1 recording after ILT session? My company has week long, 8 hours a day training classes. Yesterday was day 1. MS Teams broke the recording into 4 or 5 recordings. Can we upload multiple or do we need to convert into 1 recording?
Early in our onboarding, I setup a group called notifications and placed several individuals into that group so I could target those folks with my notification testing. It worked great. Now that I have the notifications working the way I want - I simply modified the members of the group to only include a couple folks and added one new person. The problem is that everyone in the original group is still getting them when new stuff takes place and the new person does not get them. It is as if the rules are stuck.Anyone else run into this?I have not yet tried deleting it and making a new one from scratch but that is my last resort - I guess.Just wanted to check here first.
Currently testing how to make it “easier” to create ILT sessions/events in bulk. We have encounter a couple of issues, especially on how to add multiple instructors to a session/event. I found a post talking about it, but not actually showing the format that needs to be followed. Also, has anybody found a better way to manage ILT session scheduling, as the UI from Docebo really is cumbersome to work with for mass scheduling? I was thinking on building a Macro in excel with our pre-built parameters, to ease the work of our admins.
Hi all,We are potentially looking to set up a number of different admins across the different areas of our business with a view that each admin can micro-manage their own set of users.I’ve found Docebo University very useful - I was wondering if we are able to use some of the modules from DU in our own LMS? The admins won’t need access to everything on DU but if we could have a catalogue of a handful of lessons there available for them, that would be great…Does anyone know if we are able to do so?Many thanks,Rob
I am in the process of creating various Career Paths throughout our company. We are wanting to have a page dedicated to Career Pathing, where our users can obtain information about different departments, their roles and the required skills for each role. I am stumped on how we could use Docebo for this need. I am curious if anyone here has a possible solution.
Hello Docebians and Docebo friends! We need to have an automated process to unenroll terminated users from any courses they are enrolled in except for completed ones. Has anyone solved how to do this or is this still a manual effort?
My company leverages Docebo for our internal employee training program. ILT courses represent a sizable portion of that program. For instance, we have a weekly training program where each week is independent of the previous week and is consequentially its own ILT in our portal.Something we’re struggling with is how to simplify our standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our training event team who's responsible for setting up our ILT courses.Part of the trouble we’re experiencing with our ILTs is ensuring the individual ILT courses are set up in a consistent manner. Our initial thought was to create an ILT Template course that our team could duplicate for each ILT course and make a limited number of changes (title, description, dates, etc.). Unfortunately, we found it’s currently only possible to duplicate e-learning courses, not ILT courses. (Yes, we’ve voted on the ILT duplication idea).Based on a matrix we created in Excel documenting all ILT course settings, there are 94 settings i
Hi there! We are working on importing our users via API into branches (named after their Department) using the branch code. Therefore I have a 2 part question :) What is the benefit of importing via API based on branch code vs. simply the name of the branch (in this case their Department)? What are some best practices for branch code naming conventions to help us keep things organized? We currently have 29 total departments but I’m having a hard time finding an easy branch code naming system to keep things simple. However, if there’s no benefit to using the branch code in our case then we may just need to stick with the branch name to keep things simple. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks so much in advance!
We have gotten some initial feedback from a pilot user that is struggling whenever certain learning objects are the end of a course. For example, if a Knowledge Check is last it shows the results of the Knowledge Check instead of the Complete text with the trophy icon. Is there any way to get the course to always show complete at the end of last object, instead of the object itself? This way learners will not wonder if they are truly complete or not.
Our business has employees who go on leave throughout the year and we’ve run into a problem where their managers continue to get digest notifications (course incomplete) for them while they are away. I’m wondering if there is a way to manage the notifications at the user-level without changing their system status or manually unenrolling them from courses?
I’m hoping someone maybe able to help here…We’re starting to leverage the Power User function and I’ve clearly done something wrong when setting up the permissions.Basically, when one of our Power Users enrols a user into a course it’s putting the user onto the waiting list. I’ve not enabled the waiting list in the course settings and so I’m not sure what’s happening.I’ve read the guides as to how I create the Power User profiles, but it’s a bit of a minefield. Is anyone able to offer advice so that I can stop this happening? Thanks 🤞
