No information when Docebo Updates their CSS

Dear all,we are highly depending on Custom CSS and is it really important to know when Docebo is updating/changing something within the CSS.At the moment Docebo does not inform their customers on CSS changes. They just add the changes to the sandbox and 7 days later they add them to the live environment.To be 100% sure that we are not surprised by these kind of changes, we need to check the Sandbox on a daily basis (which is not doable). If we then see any changes, we need to find out what exactly changes and then solve it. With minor changes we are able to manage this within 7 days, but when it is a bit bigger, it can get tricky to be able to solve it before it goes live.Therefore I would like it when Docebo at leasts gives a heads up that they are changing something and preferably which areas they are changing (high level). In this way we know that changes are coming and in which area the changes will take place. This saves us a lot of time and effort in finding the changed CSS.Also

Captions obscured by new course player bar

Howdy all!  Has anyone else noticed the new course player bar obscures captions? In the current player, the captions appear neatly and visibly above the course player bar. Not so with the new incoming course player bar.The issue seems to be the hover settings for the bar are very sensitive, so the slightest move of mouse/cursor brings up the bar, obscuring captions. This is not good UX for our customers who certainly like to move their cursors around during videos (!)Any workaround/suggestions to improve this? Reducing the bar opacity via CSS perhaps?

Blank Error message when uploading External Training

New Course Player Feedback - Change Session Enrollment: Show times

Not sure if this belongs here, but we recently setup an ILT course with 5 sessions (one event per session). Learners only have to attend one session/event. We have found that after the initial enrollment is complete, if they need to change sessions, the popup only shows the date and the “time zone math” -- not the time of the session/event. I confirmed this with support and the work arounds are to either force unenrollment and re-enrollment, which honestly I think would cause more confusion, or I came up with just adding the times to the name of the session. This is ok, but still requires the learner to do time zone math. Any other ideas? Pic # 1 -- no session/event times showing Pic #2 -- I added the times manually to the name of the session

Articulate Rise xAPI Completion in Docebo

Hello Docebo Community, Anyone uses Articulate Rise to export xAPI content into Docebo and is having issues with completion synching in Docebo? This issue is sporadic for us. Some of our learner’s view is 100% on the content side but its not updated on the platform. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Additional Field for reason a course due date was extended

I need to create a field so that when I need to extend a due date on a required course, I can add the reason I’m doing so.  For instance, the user is on LOA.  This way when we go through our annual audits and I’m asked why the date was changed, I’ll be able to give them the reason.Is this done by Additional Field?  How would I go about doing it?

New course/LP player feedback

Hi team,We have tested the new preview mode and here is our feedback:Course/LP Description should have more space allocated - 10 rows. As all descriptions are longer than 3 rows. Syllabus should be kept in both views ( pre-enrolment and after-enrolment as well). In our case we typically allocate the LPs to the audience as part of Onboarding and they land directly on the already enrolled view. And it will be nice to also have the possibility to see the syllabus, as it is the case for pre-enrollment. It's important for them to see exact what to expect for each course. Is there no “X” button for exit the courses? I think one it’s needed. Test view is also changed - it will be nice to still keep showing the type of questions from test ( single vs multiple etc.)Thanks,Dani Mihai

👋🏻 Hello, I am hoping to hear about your experience with Questions & Answers or Comments widget on courses. We are not using these widgets at this time but there have been SMEs inquiring on allowing users to ask questions or reach out via the course to set up 1:1 time. Could you share how you use these widgets? Some of my questions are as follows:How do you monitor the conversation? How is the SME notified there is a question that needs to be answered? Do they just have to check the course regularly? Is the person who asked the question notified when someone answers the question? What settings do you have in place? Where do I go to view the settings for Q&A and comments? Anything I should keep in mind while researching? Any advice on using/implementing the widgets?Of course, any other experiences or suggestion you might have are welcome!!  Thanks community!Courtney

Training Materials

Someone please fix the training materials glitch asap! I am running 30+ classes this month each with a different zoom link and PDF.  I cannot load either in the training material as when you select which event to attach, it kicks you back to the homepage.  This is causing the learners to not have their materials.  Please fix.

Printing tests

Is there a way, or please create a way, to download tests (questions, answer options, correct answer(s), user answer stats) to a variety of outputs other than GIFT; e.g. Excel, Word, .txt? Power Users with minimal computer skills cannot decipher/interpret the GIFT output format.

Server Errors and Escalation

We are having 403 and 500 errors and server errors accessing the catalog and course management again today.We have raised a ticket with our implementation PM and asked for escalation.This is our Go Live week.Is there anything more we can do to get this issue resolved?Is it happening to others in the US? ThanksT

How to notify an instructor when they are assigned to teach a new session

We are on the cusp of rolling out the Docebo LMS. I cannot find a basic process to send an email to an instructor to let them know they have been designated to teach a class session. I see several notification events, but none seems to be appropriate for this basic task.Why? Since there are several instructors that get rotated into teaching different sessions, if instructor “A” is configured to teach the “Jan 22” session of a class, that instructor needs to receive an email notification so that they can prepare, block their calendar, and do several pre-class administration tasks. Request: How do you notify the instructor via email that they have been designated to teach a class session?

Branded Mobile App Quirks

We are currently configuring the branded mobile app and the behavior of a few things is strange. In the branded mobile app publisher screens, the IOS tab has two image fields, one for the icon, one for a splash screen. We’ve uploaded images as specified in the KB’s. When the app loads on mobile, it very briefly displays the splash screen as a thumbnail, very very briefly, followed by a solid white screen that hangs for around 15-20 seconds before proceeding to the login. Has anyone else encountered this? Why is the splash screen required to be a square image? Maybe I’m not understanding its use. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Report Field name changes - yet again !

I see there are several changes to field names in reports, and I cannot find any warnings or notifications that this was to happen. (Please correct me if I missed it)It may seem trivial, but we use report CSVs directly into Power BI and changing anything in the field names causes the DAX and Power Queries to fail. example “Branches” changed to “Branch path” and there were several others! This causes significant delays and cost in reporting to our customers.Please in future make it clear, well ahead of time, that field names will change.

Get an 'Answer Key' to your test questions

Suggestion to please enable Superadmins, instructors or admins to be able to download an answer key to all the questions in a Test or in the question bank, for easy reference. Thanks.

Setting Max Attempts

If we have a SCORM assessment that is marked complete by achieving a passing score, can the maximum attempt limit in the Navigation settings be used to limit the user attempts to that SCORM training material?  Or is the only way to limit attempts is by using an assessment created within the Docebo application?

New Course Player feedback on ILT details

Here’s what’ I’m observing:Why am I being asked to fill out this information when creating a new ILT (notice how each sentence is on its own line): But it doesn’t show up on the learner’s page?The only workaround I have is to add the information here, under PROPERTIES (next to EVENTS & ATTENDANCE tab): Now the learner can see the information, however, it’s not formatted - everything is collected into one paragraph:   What’s the purpose of forcing me to add a description when I create the ILT if it doesn’t show up anywhere? I swear it used to show up for the learner before the 2nd new platform update in late August. I do know that it used to be visible in the previous learning plan dashboard.l If the Description in the ILT can’t be connected to the learner’s dashboard. Could there be some formatting implimented in the Session description, so that learners do not have to navigate a paragraph? Personally, I’d rather the first option. As remembering to go back to that properties tab is

IDEA: Add "Assign to Learning Plan" and "Assign to Catalog" Buttons Directly on Respective Tabs

Hello. It would be great if there were buttons directly on the tabs for Catalog and Learning Plan to “Assign to”, rather than having to click the + icon, then find the option in the dropdown. The Catalog tab would have an “Assign to Catalog” button and the Learning Plan tab would have an “Assign to Learning Plan" button. If you want to leave the options to do this in the Add Button, that’s cool. But at least put the buttons directly on the tab would be great. Saves mouse movement and one less click. See attached.

Does anyone know if there is a report to pull deeplinks or URLs from courses?

Hello All,Wanted to ask if anyone knows of a report or way to pull the deeplinks or URLs for each course?  We have a couple different use cases that this would help use to deploy...but the largest would be just sharing out curated content lists that are focused by topic or skill area to managers to share during team huddles.Thanks for any guidance,Lauren H.

Has anyone had to update hundreds of icons bc of Docebo's bad UX?

What kind of UX design has a GIANT red X that when clicked has zero warning before unlinking from ALL LPs and courses it is assigned to? Docebo’s response is to send poor UX design to the “Ideas” portal. This is not an idea. This is poor design. I have escalated and requested that someone on their team updates the icons for all the courses and LPs when this happens. I hope other users do the same, so they are forced to push it to the top of the list or at the very least we don’t waste time on their poor UX.
