Hello All, We have recently started looking for LRS Possibilities in Docebo and have the below questions.Can anyone help answer these? Does Docebo has their own LRS (learning record store) functionality, or is it required to use an external vendor ? Can we keep TinCan courses in Docebo with connection to external LRS, or do we have to upload courses to LRS and connect them with Docebo? Are there any business cases where such functionality was implemented ?

Hi.  I’m new to Docebo but am interested in what external talent management platforms anyone may have successfully integrated with Docebo?  I’m interested in pushing skill requirements down to individuals (rather than letting them self-assess) and to measure at what level they are operating at now, resulting in the basis of a Personal Development Plan.  Has anyone successfully done this?  Any advice gratefully appreciated.  Thanks.

When I try to get the notifications log via /notifications/v1/notifications_log, I recieve the following error message:{  "name": "Bad Request",  "message": [    "Notifications log functionality is not enabled or misconfigured."  ],  "code": 1001,  "status": 400}How can I set up this functionality?

Hi there! I am trying to put together a Docebo webhook that has multiple possible event types for the payload in Connect. My initial goal was to create a lookup table of all the possible events and payload samples, then search by event type. Once the event type is found, use the Parse JSON option in Connect to parse the payload sample, and execute logic relating to that type of event. I want this recipe to be easy to edit and easy to read, so I was hoping I could use the lookup table to more easily parse the JSON from the payload. However, I can’t get the data pills to ingest correctly for the document input for the Parse JSON function in Connect, so the payload data pills aren’t accessible right now. My other thought was to put all possible payload values in the webhook schema, but then you can’t differentiate which belong to which event type without external documentation, and this feels messy. I would love some advice on this!

Hi, I need to update my database via API. The problem I've encountered is that during this process, I update and create users.For new users, I need to provide the password, but not for existing users.The database has over 190,000 active users, and checking whether they already exist on the platform is not a solution. The vast majority do not have registered email addresses, so password recovery is also not a solution.Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any ideas?

Hello,I am hoping that someone from the community may have encountered this issue, and may have some insight to help me achieve what i need to (or provide alternative ideas to question my thinking).I wanted to provide as much information as possible, so thanks in advance for reading to see if you could possibly help out! Reason for our structure:Our customers can have unlimited access to relevant packages for their employees, based on factors external to the Docebo platform (D365 sales processes). These packages are not 1 per customer, they They are not enrolled in the content, instead the options are displayed visually within pages. Branches separate our customers, with employees created via SSO to land in the correct branch. Groups with automated rules (based on branches); ensure each member has the correct content access. Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you had any luck fielding an issue we are experiencing. We have an extended enterprise, and we have two SAML identity provider IDs for each domain. This means that is a person finds themselves on the wrong domain and attempts to log in, they will receive an error. These users are on different domains for security reasons, so they have their own separate profiles. Is there any way that:Docebo supports a single login page not tied to either of our portals, authenticate the user, then parse information from the SAML response to be able to pass the authenticated user to the correct portal? We can update the log-in page to better redirect users, such as have verbiage and the correct SSO links to sign in. I understand allowing the SSO links is a part of the SAML settings, so is there a way to achieve this?Thank you! 

Hi Community,We are exploring having two Outlook connectors to manage two different ILT calendars within the same Docebo platform. They will be used within different subdomains. I know this is possible, but I want to know if anyone has done this? And how much of a hassle is it?Thank you,Kris

In Docebo Connect, I created an ILT schedule report pulling in fields using the Get Sessions by Course ID call. I have the data export and create rows in Google Sheets. My challenge is, I am not able to bring in session additional fields in Connect because they cannot be selected and brought in as data pills. I have two session additional field values (ID 19 and ID 21) that I want to bring in to this file for each row/session in my file. Any idea how to achieve this in Connect? 

A couple of months ago, we noticed that when we manually updated the first and last name fields for users with SSO/SAML credentials in the LMS, those changes were overwritten—reverting back to the names assigned by the IT department at the source.Docebo previously confirmed that the user profile pulls the first and last name directly from Outlook. Unless the name is updated at the source, any changes made in Docebo will automatically revert at the user's next SSO login.Since the IT department has indicated they will continue using generic names like “The NOW Location” for new account creation, we’re hoping there may be a way to adjust the integration settings to prevent this overwrite. Accurate names are important for Training, especially for communication, tracking completion, and monitoring turnover.Any thoughts or insights the community might have, please share!

Anyone using Docebo Connect to automatically give permissions to Power Users?The example I’m thinking of off hand is Power User A creates a Learning Plan and based on the code convention is automatically shares with Power Users C and D? This is a manual touch on my end today, and I feel like it would be more scalable if I set up a recipe. I’m sure there are plenty of other examples, but I didn’t see it in the static list so I’m thinking maybe custom action.

Hi!We are in the middle of integrating Docebo with an internal application in our org, and we keep a table with all enrollments per course.We want to update it when we notice a new enrollment/un-enrollment happened in the last 24 hours.The enrollment part I can get by using /learn/v1/courses/report (Get enrollment report for a given course or all course) and utilizing the parameters to get the courses with enrollments of the last 24 hours.However, When someone un-enrolls from a course, there is not indication I could find to who un-enrolled in the last 24 hours. (Wanted to believe that the ‘date_last_updated’ param in /learn/v1/courses would update but no success) If anyone have any idea if that’s possible, your assistance is much appreciated.Thanks!

Hi Guys, I’m pulling some data using the API to our data warehouse so our reporting team can do some Analytics.They are asking for 2 specific fields which I can’t seem to find anywhere:Archived Enrollment seems like the only choices are yes/noEnrollment Type choices being Mandatory or Optional and a few others.. Please let me know your thoughts and any help would be appreciated.Thank You.

I’ve done SAML2.0 in Docebo previously, but this time I need to find the IP provider.I need this provider to be SaaS, and have the ability to batch upload new approved users. I can’t use anything that requires an IT department to support it.I also need to AVOID social media assignments, which it seems like Auth0 requires.I know Okta using Auth0, I know of ID.me.Anyone using/liking something else?Thanks!!

Hello all,We are calling the Docebo APIs programmatically via PHP and Python and we have noticed that each API has a different limit with regards to the number of rows that can be processed at one time. Here are 2 limits that we have encountered:/learn/v1/enrollment/batch → max of 300 rows per invocation /learn/v1/lo/tracks/batch → max of 100 rows per invocationWe have successfully batched our requests to conform to these limits however, we found these limits via trial and error. Is there a list a published list of max rows for each API that we could reference to save some time during implementation?Thanks.

Hi!Using the API endpoint post   /course/v1/courses/{course_id}/lp  to add a learning plan to a course. Yes, that seems backwards. I am asked for the assignments parameter. I thought that was the course ID but that doesn’t work. Can someone help? Thank you!Mark

Hey Community! Question for all of the API experts out there… Is there a way to update Title/Subtitle/Button text in Custom Content Boxes via API? I’ve explored the API Browser and haven’t been able to find anything promising but hoping I’m missing something.  If not possible via API, does anyone have any ideas for how to do this effectively via CSS? Theoretically, would there be a way to “override” any of these text elements via custom CSS? (I recognize the maintenance risks this might impose)

I see two APIs; one for Delete and the other to change Status. Delete seems to fail, it triggers an oauth token refresh for some reason so before I shift to trying to set status to 0… is that a thing? What’s it for vs. deleting the user? Some very basic provisioning questions there. Other APIs seem to be fine btw, just delete seems problematic. Also side note, it looks like you cannot use the API test tool if you have SSO configured, the authorization prompt demands a username and password.

Anyone using Power Automate to make API calls?  How do you handle the authentication for the call?  I was able to set up an HTTP action in my Flow and it works as intended, but I was using a token that I created via Postman and every time it expires (which appears to be every hour), I have to update the Flow with the new token.  Is there a better way to set up the authentication to be able to run a daily API call?

Hello All,My company has access to Gainsight PX that could allow for custom messaging in platforms to drive engagement.  Has anyone here ever gotten it to work in Docebo?

I’ve recently learned that if you update a future event in Docebo that unless the update is within 2 days of creation the recipe will stop with an error and thereby not update the Outlook calendar invite. Does anyone have a workaround for this limitation? I ideally do not want to have to duplicate the event and delete the old one which is what I have been advised to do, as this will create confusion for end users.
